The cauliflower and potato curry was well seasoned and the vegetables weren't over-cooked, there was still a bite of texture to it that was pleasant. Two days ago I visited the place for the first time to pick up my (to good to go) order and the manager "Khaled" was beyond generous and kind with me, and only I've gotten delicious Flafel wrap that feels to close to home, but he also gave extra food of different items for free including a very tasty lentil pasta! I found this place through the "Too Good To Go" app. I was excited because this place was new to me since it's Vegan and Mediterranean cuisine. When I arrived, the store was closed (5pm), which was a bummer. The app stated the window time (6:30-7:30pm) and said my order would be available. I called the restaurant, and they picked up after closing, which surprised me. The guy on the phone felt terrible and was kind to us by giving us options to wait an hour until someone came or pick us up tomorrow. I am easygoing, so we found a restaurant next to the place and agreed to pick it up tomorrow. My significant other picked up, and they gave him an extra "surprise bag," which was just extra food at no additional cost. When we ate the food, it was DELICIOUS! So much favor. I found vegan stops at marine stadium farmers market, I got to try a few sides and a falafel wrap tonite. I was greeted quickly by a kind gentleman who answered all of my questions. Everything is fresh, vegan and made with thought. The lentil + carmelized onion and green bean salad are two of my favorites at the moment. I scarfed down half of the wrap in my car before leaving (teehee), the wrap is a perfect light lunch or for on the go. (Tuesday evening) Honestly my expectations were not very high because, as a nonvegan, I expected the food to be lacking something without the meat. But my daughter wants to cut down on meat consumption, so I thought we'll give them a shot. I got the green beans, bulgur w tomato, spinach, and potato w carrots. EVERYTHING was delicious. So much flavor. Meatless dinner was a success. I think each container easily has 5+ servings as a side dish. For easy nonvegan meal prep, you can cook some chicken and plop the sides as your veggies. Below is my rating comment on your site. I just got home to try the food. The carrot hummus was not good, the artichoke hummus wasn't as bad, but neither of them will I eat. The cucumber salad was good and I will enjoy that. On top of the fact I didn't receive a complete order, per sales guy, the taste wasn't good, except for the cucumber salad, the containers weren't even totally full. Pick-up was between 12:00 & 1:00. I arrived at 12:30. He handed me a grocery bag with 2 small containers of hummus and a medium container with cucumber salad. I said, is that all? He said,"Well, we ran out of main meals. I responded with, no pita chips for the hummus, this is all? He said yep. For $7.50 I did expect more especially when he knew there should have been a main dish. I was really looking forward to trying their food and being able to eat at their restaurant. Unfortunately between the little amount of food received and the one running the stands lack of making up for the fact they ran out of main dishes, I won't be trying their food again. Wow! first time trying Vegan Stops today, i picked up the Roasted Cauliflower from the Bixby Park farmers market. I always love supporting vegan spots, and this did not disappoint! The dish i got was sooo delicious and unique- i love mediterranean food and have tried many mediterranean restaurants versions of cauliflower, but this one stood out. cannot wait to try more!! Everything is fresh, wholesome, and packed with vegetables--it's the kind of food you wish you could make at home, but the variety of ingredients and prep can be a lot to tackle on your own. I've tried several dishes, and these were the standouts: - Bulgur and lentil pilaf (mujadara): Addictive, with an incredible aroma from the caramelized onions. - Sautéed spinach: Simple but loaded--probably the equivalent of a full 1 lb container of spinach! - Okra stew: Not too slimy (a nice surprise for okra) and pairs well with the pilaf. - Baba ghanoush with tahini: Creamy, smoky, and delicious. - Habanero hummus: Packs some serious HEAT. I found Vegan Stops on Too Good to Go. I got a chickpea salad, lentil paste, and lima beans in my surprise bag. They let me choose more in exchange for my honest Yelp and Google reviews, so I also got potato salad, spicy hummus, and falafel hummus. Everything was delicious! The lentil paste is hands down my absolute favorite. It reminds me of bulgur wheat salad in Trader Joe's Mideast Style Feast, one of my favorite TJ's products that sadly got discontinued. I also love the spicy hummus and falafel hummus. The falafel hummus literally tastes like falafel, so I just snack on it. I love how everything is well seasoned, even those that have a light, clean flavor like the chickpea salad and potato salad. Definitely will try to catch them at a farmer's market to get my lentil paste fix and hopefully try other items. read more

This amazing Syrian owned takeout is a must must try! Vegan Stops serves totally delicious Middle eastern food that is totally vegan to take home and reheat. These are fully prepared meals/entrees at a fair price. There is NO DINING IN at this restaurant but don't let it stop you. The owners and everyone who worked here couldn't have been more sweet and kind to us.. They even let us taste a few things before we ordered since it was our first time and we didn't know what a few of the dishes were. We ended up with 5 different good sized dishes for about $75.00 these were nice sized portions that 2 of us hungry adult guys ate for two nights in a row and were stuffed both meals so it was a great value ! What was also so amazing though was the taste. Everything was so fresh and wonderful I can't say what I liked the best.. but I will say there was nothing I didn't Love! The hummus, baba ganosh tasted like my mom's old boyfriend from Syria used to make and the pasta with lentils was out of this world. Such hearty pieces of chickpea with a light oil toss. Love the textures and flavors. Pairs so well with other items! Sold! - Tabbouleh Salad: SO fresh! I love tabouli and this was just full of life, zest, and flavors. Not overwhelming and not too fragrant, which is perfect for this! - Pumpkin stew: When you heat this one up, it's so full of flavor. Nutty, curry-like, and ultimately very hearty in flavor and texture. This with rice is just PERFECT - Eggplant Casserole: Lovely pieces of eggplant that doesnt turn into mush! It keep great in texture, very hearty. Pros: - The owner is VERY approachable, kind, and generous with his recommendations.
