My dining mate and I decided to go to a vegetarian restaurant for lunch . The atmosphere is quite charming and comfortable. The background music was relaxing. The manager/owner Lisa was accomadating. The menu features appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads, a few pasta dishes, a variety of desserts, all plant based menus, and some items contain soy, nuts and gluten. We tried the soup of the day, a ginger carrot which was just okay, hardly any ginger flavor. The mushroom reuben was excellent as well as my grilled romaine salad. All were plated nicely, and hot food came out hot. I ordered the chick'nless nuggets which were dry and I asked for some mayo. The herb mayo was tasty. These nuggets were run of the mill variety one can buy in a store. The menu may be a bit pricey. All in all we would return and try other menu items. Please note prices reflect cash payment! We didn't read it on the bottom of the menu, As a suggestion, place it on the top of the menu . We paid by credit and menu items prices were slighly increased.

I am so glad Waxhaw has a plant based restaurant about 10-15 minutes from my house. We went on a Saturday night closer to 8. I called before going to ensure it was okay to arrive 45 minutes before closing. I was told to come on by. We didn't feel rushed. I had the vanilla milkshake and the mushroom Reuben. My husband ordered the chili cheeseburger, but he received chili cheese fries. He was asked if he wanted his cheeseburger, and he opted to keep the chili fries. We shared the caprese appetizer and the mushroom Reuben. The mushroom Reuben was delicious. My husband was impressed. The restaurant is decorated minimally with eclectic pieces of chairs and table.

very excited to try the Crabby Patty. It was a delicious alternative to the real thing and I was happy I could enjoy it. The service was so friendly, attentive, and prompt; the staff make you feel right at home. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and has a familial atmosphere. I always love when restaurants use creative decor and table settings, not having everything be monotonous and the same. I tried to Bahn mi to the MAX which was great! The crispy tofu was complimented by all the other fixins on the sandwich. My family got the chimi churi burger (special of the day) and the South Pacific burger. We got the burgers with the beyond beef(?) and it was absolutely delicious. My dad, who prefers meat over anything, thoroughly enjoyed his burger. The chimichury burger had a nice kick of spice and tasted amazing. The South Pacific was also fantastic. This little restaurant is a great addition to Waxhaw and I will definitely be returning

Great food and inviting environment. We have been for lunch and dinner. The room is usually pretty full but everything moves quickly. We really enjoyed the Korean tacos and I loved the tofu bahn mi. The tofu marinade had tons of flavor and a nice cooked texture. My favorite is the citrus cheezecake, which is just amazing!

    Crème Brûlée

The food here is DELICIOUS! My favorite was the crème brûlée and the spinach & artichoke dip was great as well! I will definitely be coming back! The service was fantastic as well!

Oh my! Don't miss this place. Best lentil soup I have ever had. Tasty dishes. Amazingly bright and homey sense to dine. Come before the whole world find this place.

Oh wow! Another great meal at Vegeez today!!! The barvecue sandwich with a side of BDC chili has become my new favorite! At least until my next visit!!! I still have not left once without a mocha shake in my hand... and don't intend to break that trend!!!

    South Pacific

Amazingly fresh, delicious, and favorable, the South Pacific meal is just what I needed, after completing a fasting. The price and service are excellent. I highly recommend Veggeez Plant Based Eatery.

This is an absolutely fantastic place to eat. The service is very friendly and the food is amazing. If you're looking for local quality food, this is the place to go even if you're not vegetarian. I would record the Carne Asada Tacos.

Very tasty food, friendly service, and quiet ambiance. Lots of savory options on the menu. Try the chili. BYOB option without corking fee!

Good: Biscuit was soft and had a good taste to it. The pancakes were also solid. Coke in a glass bottle! Scrambled egg was fine. Tough to mess that up. Bad: The homestyle potatoes had a decent flavor but they were cold and mushy. They didn't seem to have any ice. Worse: My breakfast meat was kielbasa and it was disgusting. It was cold and undercooked. It really tasted like I grabbed a raw hot dog from the fridge and just started gnoshing on it. I had two bites and that was all I could stomach. We went for Father's Day breakfast and I had high hopes. Really wanted to like this place. The menu looks great but this was not it. If you're looking for a nice fun casual place with healthy food, reasonable portions and decent prices. This is your spot.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? Biscuits and gravy are a southern staple and rarely have I had any that were really good, except here at Vicious Biscuit. Biscuits are their business. The most important elements are the biscuits and the gravy. Additions are many and varied, but if the basic two items are not both excellent, you will have a disappointing experience. The Vicious biscuit is the size of a hamburger bun. It is soft and there are bits of spice in the dough. These biscuits do not fall apart, but stay together and serve to soak up the wonderful sausage gravy that is poured on top of it. You can order just a biscuit with gravy for $8. And if you are timid, start here. Otherwise, there are add-ons like very good fried chicken, shrimp and grits, ham, pulled smoked pork, crab, bacon, fried shrimp. fried eggs and other combos. Super choices, so take time to study the menu which is extensive. Portions are great, very generous. I had their Vicious ($12). It was their Cheddar jalapeño biscuit, crispy fried chicken, maple sausage gravy, cowboy candy, with maple syrup drizzle. I was hesitant as to the maple syrup, but it is just enough to give accent to the gravy, but not super sweet. Wife had Fried Green 'Maters ($9.50) which were four fried green tomatoes, their signature pimento cheese with a pickled okra garnish. She could not eat it all, so I helped finish off the lone tomato and a bit of the cheese. Very good. Vicious Biscuit is more that a meal, it is an experience, even a journey, through this traditional southern staple, biscuits and gravy. Enjoy the trip. We might see you there.

We didn't wait for too long for the table as people were just leaving. It took a bit for the waiter to come to our table and took even longer for him to get our food orders in, which we noticed he got the food orders in for the other tables with people who came in after us. This then lead them to getting their food before ours. I ordered the breakfast combo which came with 2 eggs, bacon, and waffle. I was a bit surprised that this place didn't have any chicken or turkey protein side options as I've seen is common with brunch places. I also got my eggs scrambled which, as you can see by the picture, came out as an omelette. When asking the worker about the confusion, he doubled down on it being scrambled eggs and even gossiped to his coworker about it as well. Upon the unfair wait and the egg situation, I will not be returning here again.
