Arrived in a timely manner, so, yay! It was relatively easy to assemble (the clingfilm IS a pain, but I understand its necessity) and sturdy. Granted, my partner did the bulk of the work, but he can and will get frustrated if an assembly process is complicated/unclear or if the results aren't what he expected, and he made it out of the assembly process unscathed and not swearing, so I call that a success. Installed it in roughly the same location as the older wood-framed bed, which had mostly rotted and wasn't going to make it through another Texas summer. Much more streamlined and visually appealing than the wood bed and concrete corner supports. We went with the 15" height, which allows for more topsoil/compost than the old bed held, makes ground and irrigation maintenance easier, and (we're hoping) will promote deeper root growth. assembly was easy just time consuming. We started some seedlings and they are taking off. I used 1 bag of mulch at the bottom and two bags of planter soil that seems to be a perfect amount. The casters roll nicely, makes it easy to maneuver the planter where ever I need it. All in all, very pleased. read more

Service and selection of raised planters was extensive! Communication was good, they kept me informed on shipping and delivery status. BUT very heavy, wish they could package in several boxes as we are older and can't lift too much. I also wish it was a little taller. I'm only 5ft 6in and have to bend over to work in the raised bed. My hubby had to buy some blocks to elevate it more for me. But love the material, will stand up to the heat here in Arizona! I didn't want to maintain a wood garden bed. BUT... the first few instructions could be more informative. They are mostly pictures and didn't quite get the job done. A little verbiage would have been nice. read more

I love these garden beds. I am useless with power tools, and these are so easy to assemble I can do it myself. The design is simple and the colors are lovely but neutral enough to complement any design. Even the boxing is designed to contain all the pieces in as small a package as possible, with thick cardboard that protects everything and survives the most rough of shipping. Well worth the price. Nice beds once you put them together. Beware. This takes time and persistence. there are a lot of bolts, depending on size you purchased. Power tools help. And, removing the cling film from each side of each piece is a pain. Be sure to do it before assembly! I recommend on the couch with a glass of wine. That being said, I would buy them again. The construction quality of Vego Garden raised bed kit is very good. All the panels, both straight and curved, were formed precisely and their enamel finish were flawless. All the included bolts, washers and nuts were machined to good standards were of good quality stainless steel. This greatly reduced frustration in the assembly process. Although it is not mentioned in the assembly instructions, the included wrench can be used as a panel alignment aid as it fits the bolt holes. Two panels can therefore be held together while one installs bolts in a vertical row. This is good design and attention to detail which benefits the customer. The only oversight I found was the internal bracing rods are cut for 2' and 4' wide configuration beds. For the 4.5' wide bed configuration, I had to cut rods to length and tap in new threads. Overall, I would recommend these Vego Garden raised bed kits. read more

I would change the website a little by having dropdown menus for the size garden you want. this would be less confusing than buying a product described as a "9 in 1" verses a "10 in 1" kit. Just sell them by the actual measurements, for example 4x8, 3x6, 4x12, 2x6 etc. then send the appropriate kit. read more

Very mixed feelings towards this company right now. Have had multiple products ordered, but had a number of problems. First two items came in and were exactly right. Second two items were delayed and came in 2 weeks later, but were missing panels. Contacted CS and they sent the additional panels about 10 days later. I had a third product ordered, but wanted to cancle it, as it was showing that it would not ship until June (at that time in 6 weeks). - Tried calling and got a message that they were only accepting emails. - Sent email cancelling the item and then ordered a different box that was in stock. - Original item shipped 2 days later (a month early) AND the new one. - Requested RMA for original item, using their online system, but have never heard back from them. - Have now followed up 3 times (over the past 3+ weeks) with no responses received. Have now filled a dispute through AMX and will see if they can help me out and get a response. I understand the manpower issues everybody is facing, but 3 weeks... really? The cover and irrigation system for my 2'x3.5' raised bed will be great for my lettuce as it starts to get cooler. It has the added value of keeping out the squirrels.
