I didn't really expect a weekend response but Juan responded that morning and said they can come out the same morning between 11am and noon. Good news for me. Jesus showed up early and got right to work. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Made all the necessary alignments and maintenance to get my two garage doors up and running again. The garage doors are about 8 years old or so and now they work and better than when they were new. I appreciate the help and fair price. The board failed within 3 weeks and they will not even look at the unit without me paying another diagnostic fee. This company is a total scam!!!! No honor - no pride in the way they work. Just horrible people

Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

UPDATE: avoid the shade and mansplaining. Use anyone else. This company does not stand by, or even anywhere near their "workmanship." Initially they were great. But don't expect service (despite the assurances to the contrary) without a high price tag should anything go wrong with their faulty work! About two years ago joel replaced my garage door. I was very happy and his quote was in range with what I received from other companies. However, less than two years later (and with minimal use) the cable came loose and twisted. I could not close my door. There was no impact to the door or any other reason why the cable should have come loose less than two years since it's purchase and install. So I called joel( thankfully he STAPLED his card to my wall). I was advised by him that it would be $200 to fix it. Then he dropped the price to $150 after I pointed out that the cable should not fail after just two years! I was told that anything less paid by me for him to fix his work wouldn't cover their gas (apparently this company is close enough for the expensive install but too far to repair what they did wrong to begin with). However, Joel did benevolently promise to price match any estimates from other companies (which had nothing to do with the initial improper installation). Great! How many bites of the apple do you need? He already has $2000+ for the initial install. I guess it's great business to improperly install a door and then charge inflated prices to repair it. Job security! Then he wants a copy of the invoice to review HIS promises and warranties. Um ok. But for he never gave me an invoice because he acknowledged that our written communications constituted the agreement. He finally agreed to repair the door and would be here the following morning. However, the following morning he had tons of excuses even saying that he would send over a family member to fix his work. That never happened. Here's the thing. I might not be a licensed professional in garage door installation; however, I am capable of doing some simple research. Those cables are not supposed to fail after just two years. Moreover, for the past year my second car was in the garage with a dead battery. Thus the door was rarely used. For a new cable to come loose, the door would have not been properly calibrated with the right amount of resistance when installed. Something like this should not happen for at least 10 years. A garage door company should be expected to in the very least properly install a garage door! Because I cannot leave my garage door wide open, I had another company come in to repair this company's blunder. What I learned is that an older spring was used, probably one taken from another repair instead of the spring that came with the door. This is apparently a $300 part. SO THUS THE SHADE AND FRAUD. Furthermore, using old springs which were not properly tightened allowing slack in the cable which in turn caused it to come loose. When I advised Joel of this fact he responded that since the old used spring was still intact, it's failure to properly secure the cables/door was not his responsibility. GOOD TO KNOW. Furthermore he used two different sized springs which is what caused the door to be unbalanced. So what happened to the springs that came with the door? That was purchased and installed in late 2022? Guess I'll have to wait for court for a potential answer. I am so sick of constantly being scammed and ripped off. I am not a garage door repair expert but I am fairly certain that anyone with an iota of dignity and pride would make the necessary repair to a door for which they were just paid. Not the best way to do business imo. Switching out the new parts with old ones is actionable in the very least and possibly even culpable. So you have been warned! Use a professional company with a strong business record or live with and pay for the consequences read more

Well deserved five stars! My garage door was a complete mess. It was falling apart. The motor was old and loud. It was hit or miss if it would even open. So I started my quest to replace it with something meeting the HOA cookie cutter standards. In comes Joel of Velascos who patiently went over my options, dealt with my consistent mind changing about color and style and waited on stand by while I got estimates from numerous companies. I've got to say that every company pulls out the same brochure. There really is not much difference in the products offered. However, I don't know if this is because I'm a single female, but the estimates for the same door ranged all over the place to literally twice as much as my initial quote from Velascos. So I placed my order, paid my deposit, and about two weeks later, on schedule with no delays or excuses, I got my beautiful new door. Granted the motor's technology (including working with my friend Alexa) is way above my pay grade so I haven't even started to realize it's full potential, but I like it!!!! It's so quiet (my old door altered the entire complex when I was coming or going) and my door now has beautiful tinted windows so I can see inside. No more dungeon! Thanks Joel! You're the best. Anyone who is replacing their garage door, use this company!!!!! read more

These guys are professionals. They came out to my property within hours of contacting them. They knew exactly what was wrong with the garage door and they were able to fix it within an hour.
