My friend and I were walking around Glendale and craving gelato, which honestly I always am. He wanted something tiramisu, so I looked this place up on Yelp and we decided to try it. I got the tiramisu and hazelnut, and both were so delicious. They also had a hazelnut cream that I ended up buying and bringing home, which was such a good decision. It even had a cute little Easter bunny on top since it was right before Easter, which was a fun touch. There was a long line, but it moved pretty quickly and the service was great. Definitely worth the wait. This spot took over where Sprinkles used to be, and I will say I'd choose gelato over cupcakes any day. I'll definitely be back.

Right in the heart of Americana, it's perfect for your sweet cravings! We got a gift box of their mini chocolates for Christmas and loved them so I obviously was very happy to know they're local and they have gelatos! Lol. Their gelatos are delicious and creamy, and the staff are all very kind and welcoming. Will stop by again for a sweet treat when I'm back at the mall!

Gelato shop within the Americana at Brand shopping center. By virtue of being located within Americana, this place is most likely gonna be pretty busy at any time, especially during the high traffic times at the shopping center. But they feel very organized and they do take your order when they can before you even reached the counter. So it helps speed things along. Vibe here is like your average gelato or ice cream shop. They sell a lot of chocolates in addition to their ice cream though. For the flavors they have the classics as well as some fun options. I got the stracciatella and baciodidama (you get tot combine two flavors with a regular serving). The baciodidama contained some biscuit for some extra texture. I enjoyed my combo very much and their gelato was super creamy and delicious Parking to get here... my friends and I actually parked a couple blocks away from the shopping center because that parking lot could be a nightmare.

(Desserted 03/28/26 SA @ 8:00pm): Venchi... Silviano Venchi, was the latest name in the high-end sweets game at The Americana! After some drinks, food, and the Dodgers game across the street at The Famous Bar, my friend and I were in the mood for dessert, and Venchi came up on our search. Located at The Americana in a former Sprinkles Cupcakes storefront, this "chocogelaterie" (chocolates and gelato) was doing brisk business. This sweets journey started back in 1878 when 20-year-old Silviano Venchi invested all of his money on two bronze cauldrons and started experimenting with chocolate in a small shop on Via Degli Artisti in the neighborhood of Vanchiglia, Turin, Italy. His successful experimentations with nougatine, chocolate, and gelato slowly built a sweets empire that was approaching 150 years of history with shops in over 70 countries around the world. How was our venture into this sweet shop of dessert decadence!? PURCHASE(S) Regular 2-Flavor Gelato Pistachio Kunafa Delight + White Chocolate & Salted Nuts ($8.25) + Freshly Handmade Waffle Cone ($1.75) + Gourmet Cone Add-On ($2.70): With twenty freshly-made flavors to choose from, I went with two unique-sounding options. The pistachio kunafa was a tantalizing treat that harkened to Indian or Middle Eastern palates while the white chocolate salted nuts had a bit more familiar gourmet elements of fancy sweets. Each scoop was a decent portion size, the flavors were somewhat exotic, I always favored a homemade waffle cone, but the cone add-on was excessive. He gave us a rundown about the brand, how to order, etc. Once it was our turn, the ordering process was simple, you were handed a piece of paper of your order, and once you got inside to the counter, you handed the piece of paper, stated the flavor(s) you wanted, and the rest was up to the people behind the counter. It was a busy night, but the process went rather quickly - grazie! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over to The Americana. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A sliver of a layout split in half with one side focused on high-end chocolates and the other cooler trays of gelato with minimal space devoted to each. I enjoyed the two gelato flavors I picked and would like to try others, but I honestly found it difficult to get past the price, and I definitely would opt for a cone and add-on. The chocolates looked superb, but again those were an arm and a leg. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $13.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... Amazing gelato. Had Venchi in a train station in Italy and this tastes just the same! It's a cute little shop when you come out of the parking structure for Americana at the Brand. You won't miss it because everyone nearby is holding gelato cones. Staff is super friendly and let us sample everything. They have the signature Stracciatella, some hazelnut flavor one with biscuits that tastes like Ferrero Rocher, and Matcha which we all loved. Flavor is really rich and texture is so creamy without that artificial gummy consistency you get with poor quality gelato.

The gelato here is so creamy and lightly sweet. It's such a nice sweet treat when you're walking around the mall. I combined the pistachio and chocolate hazelnut flavors and made myself a Dubai chocolate concoction. I love how fresh the ice creams are and I love the crunch the knafeh and nuts add to the gelato.

Delicious! Wasn't even craving ice cream but the store looks so cute I had to check it out to see if it also tastes good and if the customer service was good. Spoiler: it was I ended up paying a little over $11 for a premium baby cone which consisted of a waffle cone with nougat and chocolate coating and a single scoop (I got pistachio) It was amazingggg! They let you try flavors and they have plenty of options. My next time going will definitely be a matcha or raspberry. Alex was the one helping me decide and taste and he was awesome. Super friendly and the lady at the cashier was wonderful too, I wish I got her name. Also the store had little ice cream cones everywhere for decoration and it's bright and very picturesque. They also have truffles and other snacks to get. So cute will definitely be back

Let me tell you about Venchi. A too fab for fun gelato, frozen dessert, chocolatiers and more shop at The Americana. Located in the back end of the Americana directly between The Cheesecake Factory and the entrance/exit for the parking garage and concierge area as well as next to H&M, which is on the Central Avenue side. This incredible new to Glendale gem is a win with oh so many classic and plant-based "nom-tions," noms meets options. I was really impressed with not only the variety including vegan friendly pralines and chocolates but the organization fo the Venchi-tiers (what I'm branding the workers here). They take orders while you wait in line as well as classically at the register. Scoops can be in a cup or cone of your choice and they have a few options you can choose from in style and/or size. I got a small cup, one scoop of the Raspberry plant-based, but did consider strawberry, mango as well as their azteco, a extra-dark intense chocolate and vegan-friendly party in your mouth. Yes, they do let you sample and even have sample spoons - they do their best to keep the line flowing and do ask for what you want first (size, cones, etc.), flavors after. The decor is very vibrant, it's like a refined section of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory with a dash of Americana. There's tons of orange tables with chairs out front as well as space to enjoy your Venchi delights. Having an open air outdoor set up that is also pet friendly makes for a great day out. Come on by, plus into Venchi (USA) in Glendale's Americana open from 10am to 11pm Sunday through Thursday and until 1130pm Friday, Saturday.

The wait was kind of long but this is definitely some good gelato but not my favorite but a great spot that's close for some quality gelato. The nutty pistachio was great and the chocolate was deep and rich. What really surprised me were all the chocolates they had at the store definitely great chocolate and uses high quality ingredients and it would make great gifts!

My family & I tried Venchi for the first time on Labor Day. I arrived at around 4:30pm, and there was a line out-of-the-door. The storefront is small and decorated like a fancy dessert shop with ample outdoor seating. A staff member gets your order from the line outside, and you get a receipt to bring to the counter inside. It's a good process, but it takes a while for the two staff members inside to prepare each order received. However, if you forgot to order something, then you can make the purchase when you're at the counter as well. We got one regular cone with Raspberry & Stracciatella ($8.25), and one waffle cone with Hazelnut & Pistachio ($10.00). Their prices are high, but kind of what you expect for treats at the Americana. Both cones and the four flavors were tasty, but my faves were the waffle cone and the Stracciatella flavor - I'd get that combo next time. The waffle cone was crisp & fragrant, and the Stracciatella had the right amount of dark chocolate and the texture was light, yet creamy.

They have 90% of the flavors from Italy, wish they had the melone, which is outstanding paired with the azteco. Most of the staff are very nice. Just one girl with glasses gave us major attitude when we paid inside rather than with the person taking orders outside. The orange chairs outside are nice to be able to sit and enjoy your gelato. Just need some umbrellas to avoid the hot sun during the summer. Keep in mind gelato melts faster than ice cream, so expect drips on hot days.

You have to decide on your order first before you're allowed to taste test anything, which can really affect what you might want. Avoid getting a milkshake there at all costs, unless you are really craving milk soup. Waste of money tbh. read more

Came today during their opening, which seems like a soft opening. In any case, we sampled some of their chocolates and gelato and ended up buying some. What we tasted were all good so we bought a variety of them. Friendly customer service as well. Special shout out to Christian who helped us along with the rest of the staff. Prices are comparable or maybe less when compared to Laderach. read more

This ice cream shop is unfortunately so mid that it hurts. I wanted this place to be good, I really did, but it wasn't. Service is weird, rushed but slow at the same time. I've worked professionally in the hotel/ hospitality industry for many years and understand the importance of being genuine with good intent when delivery quality service to patrons. With that said, upon my first visit to Venchi, Victoria offered a sincere warm welcome and assistance from A to Z that was impressive on many levels. When there is an establishment that offers handcrafted delicacies as delicious as Venchi's, then you combine that with staff members that exude professional service with a sincere smile... one of the most effective way to retain guests when service matches the quality of the goods they enjoy. I've come back many times since, because the place instills a level of kinship that usually Mom n Pop shops obtain. Thanks again for the assistance, Victoria! read more

Venchi offers gelato with truly great flavor, rich and creamy with plenty of options to choose from. Unfortunately, the experience is let down by the impatient staff and poor customer service, which makes the visit less enjoyable than it should be. While the gelato itself is worth trying and well presented, the service leaves a lot to be desired, keeping this from being a top spot. read more

Before you enter the store they make you pay for your order. I've never been here before so I didn't know what I would like but I had to make a purchase? The best part is, after I made my selection (the flavors weren't great btw all the gelato tasted the same) I walked by and there were people walking in and asking for samples without paying. Why did I have to pay before trying anything and others didn't. Please save your coin and go elsewhere. read more

We have visited Venchi in London and came with a lot of excitement (came with my husband and son) however, the way we were treated was very distressing. They ask you to purchase a size you want without even trying and I asked if i could try first please and then, decide pls. The lady was irritated and said ok i will let them know and I apologized for causing inconvenience. We reached the front to try flavors and the lady who is the assistant manager came at us and as soon as my son asked to try a flavor, she immediately told us "I need to move the line so you need to decide the size". I called her out for being rude and she was still incredibly rude and it was just an extremely unpleasant experience. She moved on to the next people and was absolutely normal with them. I decided to not get anything or try anything based on this harrowing experience but as my son tried a flavor, my husband and son got 1 flavor each. They need to really rethink how they treat people. Still not sure if they were being racist or they just dont know how to treat customers. read more

Visited the first one in Venice, Italy and was so excited to come check this one out. It is smaller but still great service. I enjoyed their gelato and love their dark hazelnut spread. My two favorite chocolates are nougatine and their classic cremino 1878. The ambiance is a whole experience and had the pleasure of meeting my compadre Alejandro whom was very helpful. Alejandro provided a bit of history and all the knowledge he had about the product. They are on the pricier side, so try as much as you can so you aren't disappointed with your purchase. read more

The staff is sooooooo kind and patient! This is a very small shop and the staff handled the line very gracefully. The gelato is very yummy! The store also sells chocolate- the flow is hard as I think more people come for the gelato- but worth the wait! Yummy cones and fresh creamy gelato! read more

Do not get the caramel shake! It tasted as if I got a spoonful of caramel and no ice cream. Looked at the bottom of the shake and it was full of caramel, mixed it and tasted the same. Highly do not recommend unless you like spoonful of caramel. The straws also don't work at all. read more

I usually don't write bad reviews because I prefer to write positive reviews, and I'd like to start on a positive note and it's that the gelato here really is delicious I got the stracciatella flavor, however it was hard to enjoy with the horrible encounter I had with an employee. Her name was Cecilia, she was so rude I was so confused at first why I was being ignored when I waited in line and came up when it was my turn. It wasn't until I said excuse me, was I supposed to go here or there maybe I went to the wrong spot but all she said is if you want gelato go to the line and mind you I did wait in the line!! I was there once it was my turn it wasn't until the people BEHIND me who were served before me too might I add that defended me and vouched that I did wait in line. Her words were so rude and honestly hurtful mind you I am a person of color so I don't know if it was that... but I felt sick to my stomach I felt truly mistreated and I am so upset about this. read more

Unbelievably rude and arrogant employee serving ice cream. My son and I were so excited to try Venchi. We love gelato! After waiting in line for several minutes we approached the counter to look at the different flavors. An employee said she could help the next person in line. My son and I moved toward her. Then out of nowhere a snotty employee said the people behind us were next and that we were cutting the line. I explained that we had been waiting and next in line. She had the audacity to double down on her accusation. She was so stuck up and rude about it. So we left. Venchi is known for its quality, but they unfortunately hired a snob who needs serious etiquette and customer service training. This employee did not demonstrate the excellence the brand is trying to achieve in its products and merchandising. First impressions are everything and I will never go to this location again. read more

Stay away, stay far away what a joke for an ice cream place first you walk in and they attack you at the register on what size cone all these extra toppings literally 10 questions then they want you to pay upfront before you get an example any flavors so I asked him hey can I try a sample see if I like this like no you need to pay first then sample after are you kidding me? No other ice cream place have I ever been to has this concept and it shows why they only have three stars Bottom line is many options out there avoid this place. read more

Pretty good ice cream but honestly a bit overhyped and expensive. We got 2 baby scoops (1 scoop) and paid $15 total (a bit much for ice cream). Interesting format they make you pay outside for what size you want before you try any flavors. Cute vibe inside they also sell chocolates! when I went to Venchi at Century City Mall, I had the worst experience of my life. First of all they got my order wrong. I want chocolate and they give me cookies and cream and then I found a paper inside of my thing after they took like a 20 minute to bring out and overall this hasn't made my day 100% worse will not be coming back. read more

Be warned, they ask you to purchase a gelato before you can sample anything. I asked if I could sample first so I would determine if I wanted to purchase gelato or something else. The woman's words were "I need you to just pick a size to buy so I can move the line along". Mind you, this wasn't the same rude customer service she provided the customers before us. The woman telling us this was wearing gloves to ring up our order then handled the next customers gelato/waffle cone utilizing the same gloves. The only saving grace is the gentleman helping us out after we paid. He was kind, offered us a bunch of different things and was polite the entire time. read more

The manager or the guy in a suit looked at us in a degrading way and told one of his staff to tell us its for customers only (the chairs) when we were going to buy something. When we did buy something he said "that's the only thing they bought?" When we were going to buy some more later on we just wanted to finish a couple snacks before we get desert. The service was so terrible, 4 people cut in front of us and the workers did not even care. They completely ignored us when we were trying to sample some of the flavors and insisted on us picking the size before we even knew what we wanted or if we wanted anything at all. We were really excited to try out this place because we love gelato and from the outside this place had a nice ambiance. What we didn't know is that they serve mediocre gelato and the terrible customer service ruined our whole experience. Won't be stopping here next time given all the better available options around the area. read more

Horrible and rude service at the Americana location. I was so excited to take my husband there and after the poor attitude the staff had, I will gladly tell everyone I know to not give them any business. What a shame. I will never go back and ruin my memories of how great Venchi was in Italy and how professional their staff was there at all the locations I visited. read more

Venchi is an incredible gelato spot straight from Italy and it absolutely delivers. They offer a wide variety of flavors that taste authentic and natural, with options like matcha and pistachio that are earthy and delicious. One of the best parts is that they let you sample as many as you want, which made it fun to try a bunch before deciding.
