Discovered this small takeout spot in the strip mall. Upon entering, you'll find an ordering tablet. Once you place your order, you'll receive a text when it's ready for pickup. I went for the chicken shawarma and french fries, and the highlight was meeting Fred, the owner's father and the cook. He's a total sweetheart, and his hard work pays off in the delicious food. I stumbled on this restaurant because of it's amazing reviews on Google Maps - don't let the 34 reviews and new-ish status of this restaurant fool you - it is the TRUTH. My recommendation: Beef kofta kebab plate with fries and Greek salad. First - the food. My first night here, I got the chicken and beef shawarma combo plate. The entire drive home, the delicious, smoky smell of the chicken shawarma filled my car. The taste was even better. The chicken was tender, smoky, savory, and juicy. The steak provided a nice robust flavor as a counterbalance to the light chicken - also cooked to perfection. Everything is cooked fresh to order and the freshness shows in both flavor and texture. The next night I went back (yes, it was THAT good) and I got the beef kofta kebab plate with fries and a Greek salad. Man, that meal really took it up a notch. The kofta kebab was out of this world. The beef was rich and melt-in-your-mouth buttery, just perfectly textured. The meat seasoned wonderfully with aromatic and fragrant spices. I love kofta kebabs and order them often and these may just be the best ones I've ever had. The fries also were so, so delicious. The seasoning on them took them from normal fries to over the top. I could eat this all day! Of course, this review would be incomplete without talking about the sauces. From the earthy, creamy, fresh hummus to the unbelievable tangy garlic sauce, I found myself using the pita to scrape out every last bit of these sauces. The portions were fantastic and my bowl was loaded to the brim with meat - I ended up getting two huge meals out of just one order. Second, the service: I don't think I have ever met an owner/chef who is as passionate about their job as the owner of Vendetta Rossa. The first night, we chatted about his passion for food, his journey to opening his business, and the love he has for cooking. You can tell he really cares about the food. It is evident talking to him, even moreso when you take a bite of what he's making. This is food cooked with love. The second night when I came back, he was so excited I liked the food he let out an audible cheer. It is so special to see people who take this much pride in their work. This place is amazing. We ate here a while ago but it was so good that when it came up on my page I was glad to submit my review because obviously I had forgotten to do it at the time. I really enjoyed my falafel plate and fries. They were cooked to perfection. My husband had the beef kabob as usual. My son had the shawarma and said it was the best he ever had. The portions are generous and compared to some other places it shows that they really want their customers to be happy. I found out that it is actually a small mom and pop place not a chain store and everything is made fresh to order. Even the garlic sauce is made in house from a family recipe. Be ready to smell garlicky for a day or two there is no place to sit down. It wasn't an issue for us because we were on our way to visit family. In this day and age, I really appreciate small businesses that are working hard to run their business and offer a good quality, healthy food. I rather support this kind of business rather than the chain brands that you have no idea what they put into their food to keep it looking good. Bravo Vendetta Rosa! My girlfriend and I came across this little shop on Saturday night for some takeout. We've never been here but we were in the mood to try a new place. Little did we know, we found our new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in South Bay. The price was overwhelmingly reasonable because you get both quality and quantity. We both got a combo plate and oh boy, both chicken and beef shawarma were excellent, well-seasoned, and SUPER good with their garlic sauce.... Do me a favor, get the garlic sauce because it's a game changer!!!! Their sides were also above average as well (except for the salad, which was just okay.. but I'm a meat lover so maybe I'm just biased here). My girlfriend really likes the side pita bread because they toasted it pretty nicely and went well with the protein and rice. Not only the food was great, the customer service was magnificent. The staff explained the menu pretty well and informed us that we are allowed to have some customization to our orders. Besides friendly staff, the space is small but extremely clean, which is a great bonus point. This establishment will for sure be on our regular list! read more

JUST GO!!!!! You will be delighted. I saw the great reviews and didn't read everything carefully so did not realize that it was just take out. We were going to make a big mistake as we wanted to go out for diner but my gf said we should just take it home. Everything was amazing and the care in the preparation was top quality - I saw that he used an instant read thermometer at least 10 times to check the temp.
