We were customers of this salon for many years. Unfortunately it's not the same anymore. 1 nail fell off 1 week after the service , 2 more nails chipped few days after. We qe back asking a full new set and got not pleasant conversation and resection. So we just left. We never experienced such a customer service before. Very sad. Will never go there again. read more

Finally, by the grace of god, was placed with GINNY for my gel x manicure and now I will continue to come back only for her. She's sweet, talented, timely, and takes pride in her craft. Of everyone I've had, she is the only technician who has shaped my nails consistently, coming out even, thin, and makes sure it's to my liking and I can't forget to mention that they last at least 6 weeks each time before I get a refill! The lady that seats in the middle row all the way back to the right chair is very unprofessional, when I did my acrylics with her, as she started filling my nails the stated breaking and falling , her own hands we're very dirty and not hygienic... The nails looked very bulky and the color wasn't dried properly. Not even 3 days passed by and my nails broke, the color chipped off and one of them started coming off... on top of that, they charged me 50$ for such a horrible service.... This past Sunday I was getting my car serviced which would take 2 hours so I walked to the plaza this Nail salon is in and they accepted me as a walk in. I thought I'd try it out since I've been to the Venetian in plantation. ( not sure if they have same owners or not) I asked for a gel soak off, manicure, and gel polish. All services that are advertised on their website btw. The main point of this review is to say I had somewhat of a good experience while in the salon but I'm not happy with the outcome. Three stars were given because the place was decent , I didn't wait long to be seen especially being a walk in, and my tech was very nice. Although the manicure seemed fine when I left, I felt like it was rushed. Hence the photos you will see they are peeling and bubbly . I'm assuming he didn't let them dry enough when he put the second coat before putting on the top clear coat. I asked for "very square" nails and he just kept rounding them off. I'm very particular about my nails and Im really unhappy that they look like this. I work in peoples mouths all day and I take pride in making sure my hands look good. Not to mention I spent $40 for something I'm now going to have to take off and I don't live in the area to be able to get it fixed. Though the people there are fairly friendly my tech honestly seemed really careless and inexperienced. I went to get some old acrylics removed and get a new set. He started removing my acrylics by sliding a nail tip under and tugging them up. It started really hurting on my right hand bc he was really shoving the tip under a piece of acrylic stuck and I told him. He acknowledged it and left that hand alone and went to remove the other hand. Then he came back and just SHOVED the nail tip under and ripped off the remaining acrylic. It hurt pretty bad but I figured that was the end of it since at that point all the acrylic was off. He then drilled my real nail down and my cuticle and it continued to hurt a bit. However once I left my nails just hurt so bad all day and you can see the lines in the middle and ring finger nail from where he ripped off my old acrylics. Not sure about other techs there but this guy seemed super rushed and careless, and he wasn't wearing a nametag and it slipped my mind to ask. read more

I have always struggled with finding a good nail salon where things are clean and finding a person who understands what I'm looking for in my nails. This has led me to rarely want to get my nails done in the past. But this has become my go to nail salon. Everything is clean and the salon itself has a good amount of amenities. But I originally started coming here for convenience because it's close to my house. But I kept coming here mainly because Michael always does such and amazing job with my nails. He listens to what I ask for and always does a great job with my nails. I've seen him for pedicures as well as for the nexgen dip manicure. Whenever I come in, I usually have an appt, but they always take me in promptly and get me in and out! Even on the weekends when they are very busy. I recommend coming here if you are looking for a new salon; but I have definitely found the experience can vary based on who does your nails. I had broken my nails in both my thumbs so I needed tips on those so obviously they have to add some acrylic, as you can see they didn't even take their time to file the nail and make it even. I got my nails done a day before my flight back home. Unfortunately, I broke one of my nails while helping someone with their carry-on. I came to this location to fix that one nail. They didn't have a blue that matched the color that I had initially so I chose to change my nail color to something different. All in all, it cost me $23 dollars. Andy was my nail tech and I'd highly recommend him. I don't live in the area so I wouldn't return but I would if I did. You should too if you're considering doing so. I called on Monday and the receptionist said to come in and they would fix it for me at no charge. Horrible. I guess it depends on the nail technician but the one I had did a horrible job on my nails. I'm so sad to have spent $55 on what I could have done a better job myself. My gel mani consisted of file, soak in water, cut cuticle (without any cuticle treatment/oil that is supposed to be used) and then paint.. BASE COAT + 3 COATS OF GEL + TOP COAT.. that's 5 layers..( I denied the hand cream because I just wanted to get out of there). I kept having to tell the technician to fix his mess and he asked if I just wanted to take off the polish. At that point i was frustrated. I got a regular pedi which was ok but the top coat was very messy. My mistake was not talking to the manager and bringing this concern up but I had a long day and did not have the energy to argue.
