I originally came in 2 weeks ago for my gel buildup nails. I had them white and I needed to change the color for them for a wedding I had that night. I had a good experience. It was early in the morning. First customer. I returned yesterday 5/8. My appointment was scheduled for 4:00. I arrived at 3:50. They were running behind and I did not get my nails started until 5:15 p.m. A call would have been nice to let us know that they were running behind. I saw customers walking out that had waited almost an hour and a half to 2 hours. They didn't have a very big staff to handle the load of customers. When finally I got my appointment with Johnny he was doing my nails and talked me into something called a cat eye. He said I will give you a special discount. $5 off. I decided what the heck I would try it. He showed me what they were. I picked what I wanted. My nails came out nothing like what he had shown me. When I stated that I wanted my nails like the cat eye he had shown me. Not that the nails were bad. They were just not cat eyes like I had paid for. He got very upset and stated he was busy. He gave me a discount for $5 off. He said I'll just put regular polish on your nails. He was rude. Not a nice person this time. He literally sat a Walk-In customer right next to me, when he wasn't even done with my nails. Maybe they should stop accepting customers at the a certain point when they get so busy that they have to take customer service out of the equation. I paid my $70 and left without having my nails redone since I was treated so rudely. It wasn't the workmanship that was the issue, it was the treatment that was the issue. I was treated very cold and rude for no reason. I won't be back. Ki read more

Only giving two stars because they were nice and I guess part of it falls on me not speaking up. Came here yesterday for the first time on my birthday. Just moved from out of state and was running a lot of errands so I decided to choose one of the places closest to my house instead of the place I wanted to go originally that was a little further. Did not mind waiting but when I came in they told me it would be a ten minute wait and It was more like 30. Okay whatever I was a walk in cant be to mad at that. When I sat down one of the ladies asked me if I wanted to pick a color HERES where I messed up because I told her It's okay I just want white. A little time goes by and the man who ended up doing my nails asked me what color I'm doing and THEN I clarify MILKY WHITE. He goes "okay we have milky white" at this point I was still waiting hadn't even started service yet so at any point he could have told me otherwise. We start service and I don't really have any issues. When we get to the color he shows me it and TELLS me that with the clear coat and the sun it'll end up showing more milky white. I'm a little irritated by this but I don't say anything because I'm non confrontational. Also as much as it sucks if the nails came out decent I wouldn't mind the color. But I'm sorry these are the ugliest nails I have ever gotten. Not only are they whiter than fresh paint the shaping and cuticles are HORRIBLE. I got builder gel and you CLEARLY see which nails have tips because the shaping is so inconsistent. The reason that even sparked me to write this review though was I was already thrown off but upon leaving I'm not sure if it's because they give you a $10 discount for your first visit but they practically force you to leave a good review. LIKE FORCE before I could even pay he never asked me just kind of made me review on both platforms before paying. Needless to say the minute I got home I deleted both reviews. I assume thats why their reviews are so good. I'm just not a confrontational person but I'll probably have to go pay to get these fixed somewhere else tomorrow. They genuinely look like diy which is crazy that shops like this aren't even cheap yet they clearly haven't perfected their technique. Truly moneys not a problem my shop back where I moved from charges about $10 more but they ALWAYS end up better than this. read more

My original esthetician was great overall, but she accidentally missed a very small section on one side during my Brazilian. Mistakes happen, so I called and was told coming back to fix it would be complimentary. When I returned, a different esthetician saw me. The fix literally took maybe 3 minutes total, but instead of simply correcting the issue, she insisted the hair was still there because that area "isn't included" in a Brazilian service. I've been getting Brazilians for over 12 years and have never once had that tiny section intentionally left untouched..... just on ONE SIDE MIND YOU...so the explanation honestly felt dismissive and gaslighting....actually it didn't feel that way. It WAS that way. What made the experience worse was that after fixing maybe 10 hairs, she tried charging me $25 for a "touch-up" that was clearly correcting an honest mistake from the original appointment. The employee I saw around 1 PM on Saturday the 23rd of May seriously needs better customer service training. Customers come back when businesses handle small issues professionally and respectfully -- not when they're made to feel like they're wrong for pointing out a missed spot. Really disappointing experience this time. Train your employees how to handle this better and take accountability.

DO NOT GO HERE. my fiancé and I went to get pedicures 2 days ago and he got FUNGUS in his foot from the tools they used that obviously weren't cleaned. When i called the place back to tell them they told me that's impossible and it wasn't from them even though I have a doctors note stating it is from the pedicure. She said two days is to long which is bullshit cause that's how long fungus can take to show up. I spend over $120 here and will NEVER go back. I used to go to another nail salon across front target. That seems to have gone down the tube. As I have been going there since it opened. I was hoping to find another nail salon that did great work. I found it ! Here is quiet it's peaceful & quality work ! I have had gel manicure, gel pedicure and just came in for a (new to me) dip powder manicure. I love it , Jon took his time and is so precise in his work. It looks amazing ! And Tina did my gel pedicure, it also looks amazing. Not only that but they are so nice to myself and my daughter every time we come in. For nails I would recommend trying at least. I hope and dont think you will be disappointed! read more

I have been coming here for 3 years and I absolutely love them. I've had my nails done from a full set, dipping powder to gel. Ive also had a pedicure from them with different options on the kind. I've also waxing done from them. Terry is the owner there and she is absolutely amazing! The other employees there are amazing well. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've gone to them for every occasion. They've always been able to do anything I find on Pintrest and more. read more

Let's just say I've been coming to Venice Nails before it became Venice Nails. I love the owners old and current. This is the only place I will come due to being close to home and I'm comfortable with the service I receive. I gave it five stars for a reason. I've never been treated badly or unfair. I am impressed with the quality of work Venice nails does...quality supplies, amazing nail work and impressive customer service. I came to Venice Nails because I had gone to a different local nail spa. My expensive nails lasted 10 minutes and several technicians had to redo my nails. Sadly, my nails lasted 2 days, but Johnny fro Venice Nails gave me a long lasting manicure. I highly recommend this location! read more

I absolutely love it here. The customer service is always great when I come in. Jaclynn is my girl and she always does the best job. I am always satisfied with not only my nails but the customer service. They are very personable here. Me and my mom both go to this shop. Not to mention its not packed like other salons. NEW OWNERS are great! They're very sweet and my nails came out really well! Anna is the best! Every time you go it adds point to your account which goes to a bonus or something like that. They also have massages along with their pedicures for a set amount of time so it's not rushed. They're great! I love them and will be going there from now on! read more
