I asked what he made mine with and he said Knob Creek, then I mean woodford. (The only bourbon I drink is woodford, it's my go to). He had a round bottle black label- again BOTH DRINKS... buyer beware they will charge you for top shelf and serve you well. Also look at you and lie. The food was decent but honestly so pissed at the drinks we won't be back. I sat at the bar and watched you.. if you said shit sorry messed up let me remake, I would have been cool. But you charged me for th top shelf and gave me well. The aramana cherries are also oddly crunchy- not sure if they froze/old etc..

I ordered 2 large chicken soups, and a medium curry goat for my Jamaican husband. Followed by a friendly request from the staff to compare & rate the taste between Rocky Hill & Bristol. My husband enjoyed the meal & hesitantly said the Bristol flavors were more tasty. He smiled at the innocent tasting competition between his fellow "yard man", and he's looking forward to giving his review in person. PRO: Friendly staff, flavorful food (Deeper flavors than Rocky Hill), off street parking, and close to UConn Hospital. Also, they were collecting for the recent disaster relief following Hurricane Melissa, bless their hearts. CON: Beverage fridge was near empty. The Gold BBQ wings were my favorite--crispy, sticky, and packed with flavor. They had the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and tangy without being overpowering. The Buffalo wings were excellent too, with a classic sauce that had just the right amount of heat and a great buttery finish. The wings came out crispy even after being sauced, which is harder to do than most places make it look. Service was friendly, the atmosphere felt like a classic neighborhood tavern, and you can tell they've been doing this for a long time. If you're anywhere near Plainville and like wings, this place is definitely worth the stop. I'll be thinking about those Gold BBQ wings for a while.
