    Live music Friday nights!

Such a nice vineyard woth tasty wines. We came to their Friday night live music and food truck event and got to try the giranche and rose of grinache. The atmosphere was stellar, the service extremely friendly and welcoming, and the wine top class! Shout out to Larry who let us know we were welcome back anytime because we were so much fun. Well, this place brings out the fun in you!! We will certainly return when we're in Paso. Highly recommend coming here for a tasting or their very fun events!

The coolest winery on the farm! I enjoyed all the cows walking by, the dog friendly vibes, the cool basketball hoops and outside space. Super awesome property. Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of sunshine. I like how the "Rescue Red" went to an animal shelter. We bought a few of those. I also wanted to learn more about the tasting menu, and the history of the place, but no one took the time to share about it. Not like a normal tasting. You basically get a refill at the bar and they pour, you walk away, that's all. That is probably why I did not "shop" as much I do when I visit wineries because I am sold by the history and development of each wine. I would have given this place 3 stars due to their "lack of communication", however, the ambiance and property made up for it.

We've been a member for 2 years and we couldn't be happier and feel at home with Venteux. A small family boutique winery who are warm and friendly and will pretty much will know and recognize you if you've been there once or two! We live 2 miles away and Venteux has been the place we go to drink wines while our toddlers ran and play. It's honestly the place to take our girls to tire themselves so they can nap. Great wines too! I love that they have a blend that commemorates the street we live in also. The employees, winemakers, even vineyard dogs are the best, we love them all. Our girls love Shelby, the Vineyard dog. She's an absolute sweetheart. Some days you'll see cows in the open field and some days, you'll find hawks. I

Venteux has delicious wines and one of the best tasting room teams in the area. Terry, Amanda, Jill, Hayli and the rest are wonderful hosts.

What a wonderful surprise! New wine friends we met at Four Lanterns recommended Venteux (which means wind), a dry-farmed winery in western Paso Robles. A recent stop unveiled the great wines this small winery is creating. One of my favorites was a Roussanne blend. Normally, white wine is not my preference. But this -- amazing. Across the tasting, all the wines I enjoyed. They are also doing a Pinot Rose, and it's on the skins for three days. Lovely color and depth. Tasting room staff Chris and Jamie are helpful and friendly, and head winemaker Toby, whose profession as a landscaper shows in his care of the grapes and resulting wines. A truly enjoyable experience all the way around. I can't wait to go back.

California has no shortage of good wine, but Venteux outshines them all. We stopped in for a tasting during a girls trip to the Central Valley on the recommendation of a friend who is a club member and couldn't leave without joining the Venteux wine club ourselves. I cannot say enough great things about the experience at Venteux and especially our tasting guide Terri. We felt laidback and at home on the property and Terri led us through the tasting flight at the perfect pace and took time to explain each wine. Venteux is the perfect place for Winos looking for quality without pretentiousness.

Terrific Pinot Noir, beautiful grounds, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend. A bit off the beaten path, but worth the stop.

They have a GMS called Farmhouse Cuvee that I swear is a gateway drug to red wines.

The place is very busy. We opted for a wine tasting with lunch. They offered 5 wines and proper tasting pours. When we were seated, water was quickly served and we ordered their House-made Sourdough Focaccia which was served with lavender butter and lavender salt. That was very tasty - the lavender butter and salt worked well with the bread. My wife ordered the Duck Confit and I ordered the Bucatini Pasta which featured Mighty Cap Mushrooms. The sauce was very rich and flavorful. The pasta was cooked properly, and the mushrooms were just so good. The Duck Confit was similar - the duck leg was cooked properly, and worked great with the Heirloom tomatos and plum, all of which sat on a wild rice salad. You can skip the wine tasting and order drinks or wine off the menu if you want. Take a moment to walk around the grounds, look up at the ceiling work. They have have a shop with some neat winery stuff. Staff and service were excellent, and the menu and the food were outstanding!

They do not offer complimentary bread service. Bread is on the menu - House made sourdough focaccia with lavender butter. It was so good, totally worth the price. Slight crisp on the outside, spongy interior, but chewy from the sourdough gluten. Hint of sweet in the background. Butter is light and aromatic. This amazing dish is just the bread. Roasted Chicken was tender with a light sauce. Pasta with mushroom sounds simple but it was yummy and perfect. For wine tasting, they offered a complimentary welcome taste of Pino Rose, light and refreshing. The tasting had 4 wines, my favorite was the 2022 Reserve Chardonnay. It was buttery and smooth. The building, scenery of the vineyard hills, and the flower garden were all beautiful.

But alas, we finally made it happen, and we had such a great experience. The tasting room is beautiful and grand, it was so cool to hear about the building and how it was restored. Tastings are by appointment, which you can book and schedule online. When you arrive the gate is closed and you buzz in to let them know you're there, so I probably wouldn't try to just walk in. As we approached the tasting room someone met us outside with our first taste of wine, such a nice touch. We sat inside at one of the comfortable couch settings, but they also had bar seating and bigger tables larger groups. You are also able to take your wine outside and explore a little bit, which we did. We noticed other groups with dogs, so they are dog friendly even inside! We were helped by Taylor who led us through the tasting, which was already set up and ready to go at the table when we arrived. Even though the wines were all out, she stopped in as we worked our way through them to talk about them a bit more. Including the welcome pour when we arrive, the tasting menu had 2 whites and 3 reds when we were in. We ended up trying a couple other wines that weren't in the tasting, and ended up getting bottles of the sensibility from the menu and a zin that was and off menu pour. Would absolutely come back here for an elevated and sophisticated wine experience that doesn't feel stuffy at all.

The tasting room was named one the top #19 wineries in Architectural Digest (August 2018) in the WORLD! And #2 of the top #19. Now that's amazing and well deserved! Lacey was our tasting room host and she was wonderful! She knew all the history and well described the wines. She didn't rush us and encouraged us to relax, wander around, and enjoy the tastes. We were on the fence about one of the wines, and she offered us an older vintage so we would know how it would taste in 10 years! That worked! We were very impressed with their wines and they definitely sell themselves! The inside is very roomy and comfortable. There is also seating with nice views, should you want to relax outside. Definitely have added Epoch to our list of wines to buy and places to visit for future Paso trips!
