I took the inspection report to another mechanic and they repaired ALL items for less than $800 in one day. This EXXON is the most expensive gas in the state; they prey on women and minorities that don't understand their options; they try to hold your vehicle hostage until you have them do the overpriced and unnecessary repairs. They are nice people, hence the two star review, but not very professional and no attention to detail. P.S. They charged me for 2+ hours of labor to change one headlight incorrectly and I changed both of the headlights in 2 hours! And I'm not a mechanic!

Once the diagnostic was complete, a thorough report was sent, including video that was taken while the diagnostic was conducted. I was blown away by the extra step the company takes to do this. The Report told me everything that needed to be immediately done and also included work that would need to be completed, but wasn't a priority. I appreciated this. It wasn't a check engine light but it was related to the keyless start. The light never stopped anything, so I ignored it lol. But I finally was like, let me get this looked at before my warranty expires. I dropped it off Sunday night at Carmax in Laurel but they referred me to Omega because they don't handle anything with programming. I called Omega early yesterday morning, and I explained that my car was already at Carmax (basically next to them) and they said they didn't have availability until Thursday but DJ said they could squeeze me in. Carmax transferred my car there and then a few hours later DJ told me they did actually find an issue. I truly know nothing about the warranty I have, he gave me the info to contact them to get a rental (since my warranty covered that). He was also very nice, has great communication via phone and text, and explained everything in layman's terms. He also told me another issue related to my catalytic converter that isn't failing right now but even when it does to remember the following "In Maryland, you do not have to replace a catalytic converter if you spend at least $450 on emissions-related repairs and still fail your Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) test." Oil changes fall under emissions-related repairs, so this will save me thousands of dollars. Thank you!!

Yet they care for my simple Mazda 3 as if it were a super car. they often tell me I do not need a particular repair. my last experience before discovering Pure was at Heritage Automotive Group in Catonsville. Heritage recommended repairs costing near $1200 when pure said all my car needed was a new. air filter and minor work. Plus a minor service. Total cost was $200. Pure charges $90 for a minor service, not $200. So pure has saved me almost $2000 in less than two years. She has been running great since. We drove 3 hours yesterday of a combination of highway and traffic. She ran smoother than when we first took delivery of her new, also from Heritage. Pure is a winner and as good as any repair shop I have used in over 50 years of car ownership.

Made appointments and confirmed multiple times just to show up and have them to say I'm not on the schedule and turn me away. And then there's the actual mechanic work. I had SO many complications with the initial installation they made, and not only did they refuse to take responsibility, but their mistake caused me to be fined. The issues pursued on and off for MONTHS before I finally took my car to a more reputable mechanic. He said it was a "very crappy installment" and removed and replaced all the parts H&H worked on. I have had zero issues since. I also now go to Caton Auto in Laurel for recalibrations, which are MUCH cheaper there and the staff is incredibly helpful. This shop is closest to me, but I drive all the way to College Park now because I can actually trust the service there. Fortunately, I will never have to go to this shop again.
