Disappointed with another Endless Summer fest at Harley Ventura. The last 2 years attendance was less. This year's Endless Summer Fest was low. Give them a reason to stick around. Find better music maybe oldies. The way they did the raffles was sign your name and phone number if you won they call you. People hang out to put their tickets in hopes to win. This new way bad idea. Most people who won wasn't there. The ideal is to keep them there so they buy in store and outside vendors. The food truck was horrible. In and out much better. And last but not least the tattoo contest should be for the people and not for someone who is involved with the shop weather in store or club that has some ties to shop. I look forward every year to Endless Summer. I have gone the last 7 years. This year very disappointed. I am not a sore loser I love everyone who runs the Harley shop, but feel some changes could be made to bring in people. read more

I had stopped in here a while ago after looking at all the Metric shops in town. I've been looking around for a new bike over the last year or so. Had never really considered Harley until recently - been a sport bike guy my whole life. I saw the new Iron and some other bikes online and around my house and really dug them. So into Ventura HD I ventured. It was the complete opposite of the experience I had at every other shop in town. Someone actually talked to me and seemed to want to help. I was blown away... someone in sales actually doing their job. Deez turned out to be one of the best sales people I have ever dealt with. He was super interested in answering any question I had and took the time to explain the differences between all the bikes. I mentioned I'd never even ridden a Harley to that point and Deez was quick to grab two and we hit the road. I was hooked. I told him I wasn't looking to move right away and there was zero pressure applied. Well, a few months later and I'm the happy owner of a 2014 Street Bob that I drove from Orange County (I failed to mention I was just visiting the area when I stopped in the first time). Deez was patient throughout the whole exchange which took place mostly by e-mail. Ventura HD gave me an amazing deal and awesome customer service. Nicole handled my financing without pushing the typical finance products on me. I'll be bringing the bike there for my 1k service. Great excuse to go for a ride. Everyone in all the departments was awesome. Such good folk that really enjoy their job and get along with one another very well. I love the staff at Ventura Harley Davidson! They are super helpful and very knowledgeable! I went to the Ladies Garage Party recently and it was so much fun. They explained the difference between riding gear, and after riding jackets, boots, etc. They had a Street 500 on the Jumpstart that day, which is the motorcycle on stationary stand, so that you can start it up, go through the gears, and get a feel for the bike. The next day my sister and I went back and she bought that same bike! Deez was our salesman, he's also the same guy that sold my boyfriend and his friend their Dyna Street Bobs last year. If the rest of the staff is anything like Parts Manager Darrell LaRose, this has to be a great place to do business. On a tour from N. Cal, my bike needed help last Sunday and I showed up at the store an hour before opening. Darrell was in early and opened up, grabbed some wrenches and had me back on the road by the time the store opened! And the clientele was pretty friendly; everyone asked if I needed a hand. And here's a tip: Ventura HD is in Camarillo, right next to a Holiday Inn, which makes it a great place to stay. read more

I am updating my review for VHD. Although I have not had the opportunity to you the fast lane service yet I can not comment on how that works. I did however schedule my appointment for the following week to have some engine covers changed and since the engine covers where coming off the oil was changed at this time. The crew at Ventura Harley did an excellent job on doing what I asked and my bike is looking good! Just two weeks Pryor to this posting I got a rear flat at the bead of my tire/wheel and the service department (Tommy) had it taken care of for me quit quickly, and got Dunlop to cover the tire as it was a tire issue whit only 2400 miles on it. Keep up the good work guys and gal, and start throwing out some sales! read more

As most of my Friends and Family know I grew up in a motorcycle shop. When it came time to get one, I had no clue who to go to. I called and talked to a lot of Dealerships all over California as well as Arizona. My husband and I traveled over to Ventura Harley and immediately made friends with everyone that works there. I have to give Deez and Bucky a shout out because they took all the time in the world with my husband answering every question he had. Well needless to say Deez was awesome and we brought home a new toy. I have also sent family over there, who also purchased from Deez and the crew. Never let these guys touch your Bike! I needed small repairs done and was given a huge bill. Now the electricle is all messed up and blowing fuses. Dont warranty their work.. (or hatchet job) either. They charged $140 diagnostics to tell me I had multiple oil leaks. I went in asking to replace the crank seal, which is the almost obvious problem - with heavy amounts of oil puking out of the primary vent tube and significant level drop in the oil tank. They quoted over $2,000 worth of work, would not do the job I requested and suggested that it's time for a new bike. It's no fun to waste a whole day and throw away $140 :/ I've always heard that's it's expensive to have service done at a dealership, but this was pretty disappointing. I have never even written a Yelp review. The problem I'm having is very unsafe and I wish they would have just fixed it. On the positive side, the sales people were very nice AND I got a free pen. read more

Had a rear tire blow out late on a Saturday afternoon in Santa Barbara. Got the bike to Ventura HD 20 minutes after their service department closed. The service manager, Ryan, worked to get a technician to stay late and install a new tire on my bike. The customer service was awesome. I followed Mike (service manager) from another dealer to this store... He always treated me well and when he left the other location the service department bombed. He was the Service Department over there because of the level of customer service he provides. He is someone that genuinely cares about you and your ride. I will now make the 35 mile trek for any service I need. I have been to this location twice now and everyone from sales (nice meeting you Bucky), service and parts has been outstanding. Always a smile, make you feel like family. My father in law because of my recommendation is now riding a long distance to this location as well. He is actually upgrading to a new bike and will buy it here. All because the high level of service of from Mike. Service has degraded severely since the general manager change, This used to be the dealer that I trusted with my bike but after a large screw up on a friends bike and then one of the service advisors flat out lying to me... I am completely done with this dealership. would rather ride to Simi or Santa Clarita than spend another dime in here. I will say that the parts people are good. I visited several Harley dealerships, and I had already heard from friends that Ventura Harley has the best selection, and the friendliest staff. When I arrived, I immediately felt welcome and appreciated. I was approached by Taxi, the salesman, and he offered to answer any questions, but then gave me my space to browse around. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also, Bucky, the sales manager worked very hard to find the exact bike I wanted with the exact features. He found one in Orange County, that he arranged to be delivered to the Ventura dealership. He gave me a great price, and was so friendly and likable. Then I was introduced personally to each of the departments and met the staff. They all treated me like a new member of the family. I live in Santa Clarita, and closer to other dealerships, but I plan on doing my shopping and servicing at Ventura Harley just because of how well I was treated there.
