I'm so happy I found Venus Nail Salon! As someone new to the area, I was really hoping to find a local spot I could support--and this place exceeded all my expectations. Looking for a new nail salon I was eager to try Venus as it is close to home. I was extremely disappointed. I will not be going back. No effort in my pedicure even though I asked several times to adjust the massage chair, and said I enjoyed a strong massage. Had there been a long waiting line I might have understood, but I was the only patron on a Friday afternoon. If you are looking for a pleasant relaxing experience don't go there! read more

Visiting from California & this is the worst experience ever !!!!!! The place smelled like cigarettes & asked kindly to open the door but instead sprayed febreeze. The guy who did my Nails did a horrible job, didn't ask the shape i wanted or how long, kept telling him my nails weren't shaped good & kept telling me "oh sorry in my side i can't see well". I do NOT recommend this place. The place was empty as well but it was our only option cause the rest of the nail salons were by appointment. LESSON LEARNED ! ! ! ! read more

I've gone to Venus Nails 3 times, and the experience has progressively declined each time, until today, which is my last. The talent of the technicians have been average at best, but it is obvious that the volume of business is dwindling, the noonish is not fresh, and today I got up-charged out of what can only be explained as desperation. It's sad to see a business slowly die, but in this case, it is an act of mercy. read more

I was visiting the Las Vegas area when referred to this place of business for a simple mani-pedi. There were only about 3-4 customers in & outta there. My feet were done 1st then my nails on my hands. The manicurist wanted to reinforce a side-cut thumbnail for no additional charge and I agreed. I was a distracted reading but didn't feel I needed to monitor the manicure 'cause my toes were adequately done. I was given a gel mani without my permission! I've had a couple of gel mani's before but don't like them (don't care for the damage they do to my natural nails), therefore, I know I shouldn't have been misunderstood! Plus, the nail polish was drippy/droopy & dried like that! I visit Vegas quite a lot 'cause family lives up here but will never spend my hard-earned money here, again! She did greet me with a smile, though (coming & going). read more

Great place and great employees!! Some of the negative commentary (I am seeing in other reviews) seems suspiciously inaccurate. My step mother and I went and we were greeted happily at the front door. We both got mani pedis (and closer to the end of the day). My technician was the owner, Jennifer. She did an exquisite job on both my toes and nails. Callus gone, nails and cuticles fully cleaned up. My polish job was nothing short of perfection. I'm telling you... perfect! You ever see those fake pre polished glue-on nails hanging at Walgreens? They looked better than those! I was so pleased. There studio is very clean. All of the tools used for my mani- pedi were sanitized before and after usage. They have dividers that separate them from clients at the manicure station. The message chairs are kept nicely and always make my visit more relaxing. My entire family, including my father, are continuous customers and we love every visit. Highly recommend visiting. You will be very pleased with your experience! read more

As a man it can be uncomfortable to go get a pedicure, but the workers make me feel extremely comfortable to make sure my feet and toes look nice in sandals. They are extremely professional, and keep the place looking nice. I would definitely recommend this shop. read more

My experience was great! I came a few years ago when the place was under a different management, but I have to say this new owner is extremely caring and patient. We had called in an hour before closing, and Jennifer was sweet enough to work after hours for us! I left absolutely loving my fill set and pedicure. The clear polish is also all over my cuticles, which makes the manicure look messy and rushed. I also got gems put on four of my nails and one of them has already fallen off after just one day. While this was happening, my daughter needed to use the bathroom and I was trying to get the technician's attention, but she completely ignored me. I had also asked if they could wait to start my daughter's toes until I finished my nails so I could sit with her, but the technician insisted "it's fine, I got it" and started anyway. Overall the service felt rushed and inattentive, and the quality did not match what we paid. I was really hoping for a good experience doing something fun with my daughter, but we left disappointed.

Because I got a fill with gel polish, my nails took longer than hers and she got into the pedicure chairs before me. I feel like that made them forget that she was there with me or something, I'm not sure. But, she's very chatty and was talking about how she's from out of town and I just feel like they smelled tourist blood in the water and as I was sitting in to a pedicure chair a couple spots away I hear the woman about to do her pedicure say that it would be $10 extra for glitter. The nail polish was from the giant rack of regular nail polish all mixed in. Like, it was just regular nail polish that happened to have glitter in it. It wasn't like they were doing a color with a separate glitter on top. I had picked out regular nail polish with glitter in it plenty of times for a regular pedicure and had never been told it was extra before because that's crazy and I wouldn't have gone there anymore. I said, "Oh, she got that polish off the rack and it's the same polish they just used on her hands for her manicure and no one ever said it was extra." The woman definitely looked like she had gotten caught with her hand in the cookie jar, but she stuck to her guns and said, "Oh, well it's always an up-charge for glitter polish." I was like, ok where does it say that? I have been coming here for years and never had this problem before ever. My grandma being the sweet woman she is just said, "It's ok honey, I don't mind." So, not wanting to stress my grandma out with conflict, I just let it go, but I was fuming. It was very obvious that they were just taking advantage of her kind nature and $10 extra for regular polish off the rack that happens to have glitter in it is absolutely appalling. It has been a pretty long time and I thought I had written this a long time ago, but apparently not. I have never gone back after having gone there very regularly for at least 3-4 years. I get that the hustle is real. You wanna upsell me and convince me to upgrade something, go for it, I'm honestly pretty gullible and I like nice things. But no way are you snaking my grandma right in front of me and then ever getting another dime from me ever again.

I am a very disappointed "no longer" customer as of today!!! I had an appointment at a certain time, and then I was called to reschedule my appointment time. Today was my last straw!! Jennifer the owner, kept pressuring me to get gel, even though I told him at least five times " I did not want gel." Also, she asked me if I wanted to trim my nails down to make them shorter, but then tried to charge me five dollars when I went to pay. I feel very hurt and mistreated that she treated me this way, because I have been a faithful customer for many years. But today she fully disrespected me and tried to make it seem like it was my fault. She didn't listen to me and my choices as a customer, and did what she wanted to do regardless of me, telling her what I wanted. I've let so many things go in the past when she tried to overcharge me, etc. She's also done that to other customers while I've been in the store. I left the nail shop, feeling embarrassed and upset, even though I did nothing wrong. read more

I have followed Anna Nyugen since I first met her at her last nail shop. She is attentive to her customers, new walk-ins, always being of customer service. The other operators are also very pleasant and the shop has a nice atmosphere. Anna has great integrity! Venus Nails prices are comparable to others. Other shops I have experienced whose price were less expensive (i.e., gels) than Venus Nails either had raised costs in other services. The work was terrible and customer service horrid. Kudos to Venus Nails for their teamwork and customer service. read more

Under new ownership!! Lovely NEW grand opening for this salon and I am so happy to support. Linh has done my nails for over 5 years now, and she treats everyone's hands and toes like with the utmost care. (I joke that she acts like it's surgery, that's how detailed she is!) Because Linh trains all her girls, you can't go wrong with any of them. They are ALL truly talented and treats nails like art. I've had other nail techs do my nails and/or pedicures as well. Peter was absolutely amazing! My gel manicure lasted over two months without any lifting, which honestly blew me away. I've never had results like that before. This is my third time coming here, and every visit has been consistently excellent. My nails look flawless every time, and the gel manicure and pedicure are top-notch. I got a gift certificate a few years back and now this is where I always go. My only complaint is that I hate to get a pedicure when the massage chair doesn't work. If I hadn't run into that a few times I'd give five stars because otherwise the place is great and they do a good job. The spa pedicure is a great value for the price. read more
