For my nails, I specifically asked for tips on two of my nails and the technician didn't do what I asked. The clear polish is also all over my cuticles, which makes the manicure look messy and rushed. I also got gems put on four of my nails and one of them has already fallen off after just one day. While this was happening, my daughter needed to use the bathroom and I was trying to get the technician's attention, but she completely ignored me. I had also asked if they could wait to start my daughter's toes until I finished my nails so I could sit with her, but the technician insisted "it's fine, I got it" and started anyway. Because I got a fill with gel polish, my nails took longer than hers and she got into the pedicure chairs before me. I feel like that made them forget that she was there with me or something, I'm not sure. But, she's very chatty and was talking about how she's from out of town and I just feel like they smelled tourist blood in the water and as I was sitting in to a pedicure chair a couple spots away I hear the woman about to do her pedicure say that it would be $10 extra for glitter. The nail polish was from the giant rack of regular nail polish all mixed in. Like, it was just regular nail polish that happened to have glitter in it. It wasn't like they were doing a color with a separate glitter on top. I had picked out regular nail polish with glitter in it plenty of times for a regular pedicure and had never been told it was extra before because that's crazy and I wouldn't have gone there anymore. I said, "Oh, she got that polish off the rack and it's the same polish they just used on her hands for her manicure and no one ever said it was extra." The woman definitely looked like she had gotten caught with her hand in the cookie jar, but she stuck to her guns and said, "Oh, well it's always an up-charge for glitter polish." I was like, ok where does it say that? I have been coming here for years and never had this problem before ever. My grandma being the sweet woman she is just said, "It's ok honey, I don't mind." So, not wanting to stress my grandma out with conflict, I just let it go, but I was fuming. It was very obvious that they were just taking advantage of her kind nature and $10 extra for regular polish off the rack that happens to have glitter in it is absolutely appalling. It has been a pretty long time and I thought I had written this a long time ago, but apparently not. I have never gone back after having gone there very regularly for at least 3-4 years.
