Finally a Nail place that's good. I moved to Wood Ranch last Nov. and have been looking for a good Nail Salon all over Simi since then. They are reasonable and give you worth your money. I had the Deluxe Spa Pedi and a Manicure. Other places rush through it and keep pushing for more Massage or more this and that. This Place is so different they took so much time to do the foot scrub and Massage it was a breath of fresh Air! So friendly as well and great prices.I highly recommend it ! read more

DON't, and I repeat, DON'T step into this place! They cut me three times and as I watched another customer leave, the operator wiped down her instruments and used them on the next customer!! Very nice little nail place conveniently located for those in the Wood Ranch neighborhood. Quiet, clean, rarely a wait for a walk in. It's tucked in to what used to be the Ralph's shopping center, near the Italian restaurant. Now that the Ralph's has closed I worry these little places might lose business, so please give Venus a try if you are in the area. read more

People complaining make no sense to me, this salon is far better than 95% of the LA ones, where sometimes they'll put your feet in a cat litter tray and don't have massage chairs. This place has it all. They where white uniforms, too, which looks nice. The gels are admittedly limited, but they have like 45 shades, colors are all over the map. I once got an opal color though, and I wish they'd told me it's not a good color if you want it to show up. Like most salons, they'll try to throw in extras, even though you might not understand what they're saying. Callus removal, sea salt scrub, paraffin wax soak, fancy designs with jewels...you name it . Just say "NO!" It's easy to make requests. Just be firm. read more

I dont know why there are so few reviews like not so many people know about this place. As a walk in customer, I didnt have to wait much. Everything was done very fast and professionally. I really love how spacious and friendly the environment is. My nails was formed a really nice shape and the polish was amazing. I also did an eyebrow wax and it's not painful at all. The owner is really friendly and caring, she always smiles. This is one of my top fav nail places in simi now. Definitely be back soon! read more

Underarm wax experience was painful. She left a burn under my arm. I couldn't even put my cardigan back on. I was nice to her and quite about it as much as possible considering my underarm was on fire! When I decided to just pay and not get my Mani/pedi, she immediately turn to the staff and was going off in a foreign language! Too obvious she was referring to me. She looked at me and said I must of already had sunburn. TO THE OWNER:I find it very unprofessional to blame the customer and bad mouth talk while I am standing in front of her as I'm paying for a service. This salon is "okay'. Went in for a manicure and she did a very mediocre job. Nails were filed crooked. Service is so-so as like most nail salons there is a language barrier. The cost of a gel manicure is $27 which I thought was kind of pricey. I will not go back. read more

Hands down, the best in Simi that I've experienced. I'm always a walk in and usually receive service immediately. On days that they are busy, my wait time is always quoted accurately. Everyone in the salon recognizes me and knows exactly what services I prefer. I never have to sit through the litany of an up sale schpele. They have an extensive collection of OPI colors (my preferred brand). They also have a large selection of gel colors. They recently updated their salon chairs. The salon is clean and the staff is friendIy and attentive. I now live on the East end of town and continue to drive all the way to Woodranch for their services. read more

I used to live in this neighborhood and I just loved this nail salon! I go whenever I get the chance to be in Wood Ranch. Once, I walked to the salon from my house and when the nail tech that did my pedicure saw that I was going to put running shoes back on and not flip flops, she carefully wrapped my toes in saran wrap and helped me get my shoes on. So kind! When I got home, I was delighted to discover that I had no smudges at all! Give this place a try. Highly recommended. read more

I moved to wood ranch recently and thought i would try this place out! NEVER AGAIN! they acrylic is cheap. I have had them done for a few days and half of them are chipped broken or gone. I had a set on when i went in there just for a fill and they ruined them! The girl that did my nails i believe her name was Lisa, told me that they were too wide and I had to much white... I'M PAYING YOU TO DO MY NAILS they should be done the way i want them correct? On top of that it was $35 for a fill?!?!?! that's more than what i paid to put them on! When i went in there was one other person getting her manicure and by the time i was rushed out of there the line was out the door so apparently some people like this place. but you will never see me back in there again! read more

Not going back after today. Been there a few times and can say the price is good but the quality of the mani/pedi is so so. Don't even bother with the callus removal as it isn't as effective as other places. They rush so the cuticle removal can be painful or inadequate and the way they shape your nails is not good (a colleague of mine looked at my nails at work and said they looked lopsided - which was true and I did notice but was shocked it was so obvious that other people noticed but the salon employees didn't). Most places ask if you want change when you pay but they do not. They assume the difference is the tip. Also most places ask if you want your nails trimmed but some of their people just start filing. Lastly, most places ask you if you like the shape of your nails after they are filed. They do not. The salon is close to my home but I have decided I would rather drive further and pay more than to settle. read more

I had the worst pedicure I've ever had in my life. Normally I go to the place close to my home but my kids were at the Lazer Tag center nearby so I decided to get a pedicure while they were there. The man who gave me the pedicure rushed through everything. He asked if I wanted to pay extra to get the dead skin off my heel removed, and when I replied no he literally scraped my heel three times with the dead skin remover and moved on. I get that I wasn't having the full on removal but what he did was a joke and left my heel just as rough as before the pedicure. He can't pulling my feet out aggressively so that they were closer to him but it hurt my ankles, and I expressed that, but he kept pulling them out regardless. His massage was rushed and mediocre. The final straw was that he dug his nail deeply into my big toe which caused me to jerk and resulted in him getting a bit f polish on my skin (which was no big deal) but he responded angrily by making a angry sound with a scowl. I told him, "It's because you were digging your nail in my toe" to which he didn't reply. The pedicure was done in 20 minutes and cost $17 for a basic pedicure which is more than I pay for my very relaxing 30 minute pedicure at my neighborhood nail salon. I have never seen such rude customer service! I was waiting for the lady running the salon to help me when my doctor called. I answered the phone because I was having back surgery the next day and had to take the call. When i got off of the phone, i apologized for taking the call and explained it was my doctor, and the lady simply ignored me. I again apologized and the owner snapped in my face saying, "I heard you!" How unbelievably rude and disrespectful of her!!! I was so insulted that i was about to walk out, when i also heard her yelling at another customer who simply requested a darkcolor on her toes. The customer, God bless her, was being so polite to this lady despite being yelled at, i give her credit because im surprised she kept so calm. What business owner treats their clients like this? Went in for a pedicure and a set of acrylic nails. Pedicure was fantastic - nails were another story. The woman who did them appears to be in charge (Lisa). Several times I mentioned to her that I didn't like how thick the nails were. She did not respond. At one point, one of my thumb nail lost a part of the acrylic off the side. She either didn't notice, or didn't care because she finished up my nails and directed me to wash my hands. I pointed out that A. a part of my thumb nail was missing; B. the ends were crooked; C. they were still way to thick; D. there were chunks of acrylic still stuck underneath and hanging off the tips. She repaired the thumb nail but didn't fix any of the other issues. I was getting very upset, almost to the point of tears - I had a big event and was very worried about how my nails looked. I told her that I was unhappy, that they were still too thick and jagged and lumpy. She started yelling at me, telling me they were fine and she didn't have any more time to spend on me. I replied that if she couldn't fix them then she needed to remove them. She yelled at me that she would not remove them. Then she grabbed my hand and pulled it out to try to show another customer and asked the customer (who was a high school student) if they looked bad. Of course, the young girl just turned away, not wanting to become involved. I pulled my hand out of her grasp and told her not to grab me like that again. I then again asked that she remove the nails, that they were sloppy and the worst job I'd ever had. She again refused so I told her that I wouldn't be paying for them. She threatened me that she would call the police and I told her to go right ahead. She kept yelling at me telling me she would not fix them and would not take them off and would not let me leave without paying. I calmly told her that I was not happy with the work done and that she could either fix them, remove them or I would pay for my pedicure, but not my nails. She shouted at me to go sit in a chair. She pulled out a bowl, poured some liquid into in and told me to put my nails in the bowl and she'd get back to me in a half hour. After about 20 min. another woman in the store came and proceeded to remove the nails. She was very kind, even filed my nails as best she could as Lisa had clipped them down in preparation of the acrylics. After the other woman finished, she patted my arm and said I'm sorry about all of this. I paid for my pedicure, grabbed my coat and as I was leaving, Lisa yelled that I better pay for my pedicure, to which I calmly replied that I already had. read more
