When we got there, we found ourselves in a plaza surrounded by many other Asian establishments (we later learned we were in Chinatown!). It made me very happy to visit considering a girl from Hawai'i like me moving to Texas was a big culture shock. Being around Asians made me feel at home. We were greeted by Lois and she began right away! She had another worker come in later to do my sisters' facial (her name was Lily) and again we appreciated their kindness and care as they gave my sister a different facial more suited for her skin type. We opted for a $68/hour facial which ended up being the most peaceful and relaxing facial I've had. When it was my turn, I basically melted in my bed as Lois took care of me. During the facial she would tell me what to expect as she placed each product on my face and then she would check in on whether I was okay. When I awoke later, she showed me my face and I swear I went a complete shade lighter! She touched me up really good. When it was time to get shampooed she gave me a head and neck massage! Omg it was amazing, she really did spend time pampering me. She applied what felt like a minty ointment on my scalp and it was so refreshing! Afterwards, she spent time to apply Biolace and Matrix products on my hair prior to blow drying and curling. And all for $65 without tip, not bad!! My hair had been colored red twice so I know it can be difficult to color it back to my natural hair color but she did phenomenal. Some strands are still brown but you can hardly tell at all, it actually gives it some dimension! From the looks of it, all the employees spend a great deal of time to pamper you and make sure you get what you want. Everyone that left felt very satisfied with their hair!
