My new favorite asian massage place My girlfriend and I frequently get massages together. She first introduced me to this place a year ago when she took me to treat me out as a special treat. She paid an additional $5 and got us a private room for just me and her. It was nice because we were able to undress down to our undies. Ever since then, I have been going here since. I've had a female work on me and I have had a male work on me before. Honestly, I prefer a male. I've even tried their non-private communal massage rooms. I like that their method is a little different than other massage places. They start with the shoulders and back and move on to the whole back (instead of the front). They are experts at rubbing out all the kinks. My favorite thing about this place is they use menthol. It puts you in a very relax state. Best feeling ever! The inside is also a lot nicer than other asian massage places in the area. All their massage bed/chairs look newer. The people working were nice. Whenever I feel like a zombie, I'd come here for a quick 1 hr massage. For only $20, it gets the job done! If you don't pay extra for a private room, you might hear workers whispering, people snoring, sneezing, or other minor noises in the non-private room. However, if you don't mind it.. then just zone everything out and listen to the music. I've had both a female and male masseuse and the only thing I don't like is how their massage skills are either too strong or too weak. I have yet to find a perfect masseuse. However, they always manage to get the knots out from my back somehow! Every time, I always feel a little pain from the deep tissue massage, but that's probably because I'm too tense or my knots are too tight. Having Best massage with good price for couples having a day off to spend together at least every 2 weeks

This is one of my favorite massage spots. It can be a little disappointing if you're comparing this place with other mainstream massage places. Here are some things to expect when coming here. 1) the price is low but the tip is high. Typically, people feel that 10-20% is the norm, but not here. The norm here is to pay at least a $10 cash tip. The one hr massage is $25 +$10 tip so be expected to drop $35 for an hr which is still pretty cheap compared to other places for an hr. 2) not all the masseuses are consistent and good. Personally I had Lily and she was great! She hit all the sore spots with great pressure. She used her elbows to really dig deep 3) don't be scared to speak up whether to go softer or harder. read more

I use to come here all the time with my mom when it was $25 for a private room and the service was GREAT! I understand with Covid pricing goes up. My one star isn't about the pricing, it's about the service. I set up at appt at 6pm for a couples massage. An hour before my appointment they called me to confirm and told me they couldn't give me two women for a massage because there was a big party and asked me if I can come at an earlier time. I couldn't and they said that's okay just come by. My man and I arrive 10mins before our appt time just to be sure and check in. When we checked in, we paid, they didn't even offer or ask us if we needed to use the restroom. But the couple that came after us, they asked RIGHT AWAY and treated them nicer, idk why? But okay, weird and rude. Then she calls me to come up to the front and tells me my room is ready but it's going to be one man and one woman ad the masseuse, AFTER I told her CLEARLY on the phone I did not want that. She tried to give me the same excuse on the phone. I told her I already spoke to someone BEFORE coming here. She said "okay", led us to our room. We got to our rooms at 5:55pm. We waited 10mins before ONE masseuse came... She was massaging me and she was 20 Minutes in and the person for my boyfriend STILL wasn't there. I had to ask her if she's going to be massaging the both of us?? She said the lady was coming. OVERALL I paid $80 for an hour massage and only got like 30mins in. Front desk staff provides bad customer service, worse than an automated service. One of the front desk staff who says her name is "Rosa " lacks any human emotion or customer care. She responds like a dead person and doesn't care what emergency situation you have going on. My sister and i have been going here for years, never canceled or changed our times before. We continue going here even after the price doubled because we wanted to support this business during COVID. What a big regret. We had our first emergency situation come up this morning and "Rosa" robotically said "you're getting charged for the full session, no time changes or cancellation exceptions." We made an appointment for a Thursday evening and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seen. The lady that took care of me was good, she knew exactly where my problem spots were and made sure she gave extra attention to my upper back and shoulders. My go-to spot everytime I'm in town. Not only is it inexpensive ($25/1hr - full body) but effective. Going in feeling aches and pains, leaving feeling relieved. I've had both made and female/private rooms and regular (open room with about 7-8 beds where different people are getting massages - think public bath house) - I'd say always pick male and just tell them to be light handed. Private rooms are ideal for couples, regardless, they always get the job done. Ask for Larry! P.S. Friendly front staff. It's nicely decor. This is my 20+ time I've been here in several years and almost every massage I ve recieved was good. I did have a couple of unsatisfied visits with the massage techs, but otherwise always a good experience. Lets talk about the unsatisfied moments. I was bummed when my usual person no longer work there, but one can't help that, so dont count that as a bad moment. The times I did NOT enjoy my experience was when I had masseuse had who had full conversation with other workers and not concentrating on the massage, and/or being next to talkative masseuse. On another occasion, I had given the masseuse a five dollar tip for a so-so massage, with full conversation while massaging, and she looked at me like she deserved more. She had no shame, and asked for more. Instead of making it a bad day I gave her more, but believe me when I say I won't be serviced by her any longer. Let us talk about what's good about this place. Front end is friend and inviting. The masseuse comes to guide you to the massage area with a friendly demeanor. You walk into a quite, with soft music, and a dim open room. You are sat in one of the comfy massage chair/couch/table. They put your feet in warm water along with a cup of tea to sip on. At that time your masseuse massages your neck and shoulders. Once done, you are asked to lay on the table face down while they dry your feet, where your body massage starts. This is where it's important to note, to wear lose clothing on top that are easy to move down and comfy shorts. The dim lighting and soothing music, along with a relaxing massage makes it for a gratifying experience. Another know-how, is the pressure of the massage. Typically the masseuse will ask how firm you'd like the massage, but if they don't, make sure to ask for the pressure adjustment to your liking. Once you're done with your massage, you can take your time in getting up and getting ready to leave the room. Don't forget to tip your person! ‍‍ One thing to keep in mind, this large area is communal. Expect to see any where between 5 - 15 people, and coed. I have never felt uncomfortable with others in the room. Everyone is respectful and are into their own massage therapy. If Co-Ed is not for you, pay extra for a private room. They also offer couple massages, which my mom and I had experienced. No complaints there at all. Also, you can also request a male or female masseuse when you first arrive to Venus. This place would be fun for a girls day, bridle shower in a private room, and couples who want to get out. Anyway, I hope my review helps. Here is who I request. Ok let's just say this place has gone to crap . I've been going here for many years because this was the only place that I knew of that gave decent massages. I've been to several other reflexology massage places and it seems my luck here was better because my chances to get a decent massage was higher. Note I said decent not great...all of their good ones ultimately leave. Now let's start with the service from the owner lady ( a little older) always talks rudely and gives MAJOR attitude. She's horrible! The man owner is always nice and that's what makes up for the lady's rudeness every time. Seriously she makes it bad business. My husband and I stopped going here because we always make appointments and request for 2 female massage therapists. The lady started to tell my husband that they can only do 2 ladies if it's a private room which costs a little more. That's ridiculous! If we each called separately for 1 for the same time and asked for a lady we would get a lady masseuse? Stupid I tell you. I thought it was only that one day but it occurred 3 times after that. I started to get sick of the gimmick and tired of that old lady's attitude. She's in her late 40s at least if you want to know who I'm talking about. Now we found another location we go to all the time that offers a variety of packages that is way better. Newer and clean! The service is better and massages are way better. See my review for Lotus Health Spa if you are looking for a better option. Sorry but Venus does not meet the service level that people pay for. Earlier today my friend took me to Venus Spa as a birthday gift. We happen to be driving by and saw it up on the 2nd floor. I called about 12:30p and they said that they had openings at 1:00p, so we chatted for a bit and then went in. I was pleasantly surprised at the entrance - It was bright and open. There were 3 ladies in the reception area and our communication was easy, clear and friendly... vastly different than the numerous other similar spas we have gone to. Massage and facial prices are competitive, clearly posted, and there is a discount when paying cash. The atmosphere in the massage room was calm, and very quiet quiet - such a pleasant change as there is often chatter, phones and bells over doors. Larry was professional and respectful. Next time I'll opt for a 90min rub for sure - 60 minutes went by far too swiftly! read more

This was the scariest massage place I've ever gone to they DEMAND A $15-$30 tip and tried to trap me in the building because I didn't tip that high. When we are in California aka tips are optional and not required they made the whole check in process really uncomfortable already demanding a tip before any service was provided. Then it was extremely too hard (and I like a hard massage) but it was insane I almost vomited 5 times on the lady because she was pushing so hard I ended up giving a $10 tip which is very well and almost as much as people make working in an hour and they had all the doors locked had this big man come out and kept pointing at their "tip signs" not letting me leave I was SO SCARED I didn't know weather to record them... call my mom ... or call the police... please never go here SOME SERIOUSLY SCARY SKETCHY UNLAWFUL STUFF GOING ON HERE . I had Wei and he gave me the best massage I ever have had. While most therapists avoid the problem areas and do just a basic job.
