White Slice with Broccoli; Plain cheese slice
    Chelsea A.

I went to my go-to sushi place to pick up some lunch, disappointed to find out they've closed until further notice due to COVID-19. Still hungry, I saw that the new pizza shop in the plaza was still open. I was happy to see that they were doing pick up and delivery, so I decided to support them. At the time, I appreciated everyone wearing masks and taking precautionary measures by wearing new gloves when taking credit cards. Ordered two slices of pizza: one white slice with added broccoli and one cheese slice. $3/slice is super reasonable when the slices are pretty big! I took it home to share with my mom, and I wish I got more than just two slices. The pizza was deliciously warmed in their oven, and they added extra cheese to the white slice so that the broccoli stayed on the slice. The cheese slice almost reminded me of dollar slice from NYC, and it made me miss where I was currently located before the situation got worse. I made sure to tip them 75% since I know these are hard times, but I want to make sure they'll still open after the pandemic! I'll definitely be back to try out more local Italian food when I get the chance and the craving.

There are many pizza places all right by each other in the Silverton area. Decided to try Versaces for the first time. First impressions were not great, called in the order for pick up the girl who answered was rushing the order didn't even give a chance to ask for how long or how much before she hung up. But once I went in to pick up the order inside they were very friendly. The pizza was good, definitely preferred the slices with toppings vs plain slices, as the plain was just okay and I've had better in the area. It's nice you can order online as well for convenience but the price is different than calling it in, like most places. They did get a lot of mozzarella sticks with the order (10) but they weren't amazing. We would be back to try other items to give them a chance. Recommend getting sausage on the pie!

Pizza is blah. Not anything great. We ordered a spinach stramboli and the literally put the whole spinach plant it it. Very little leaves and all stems. They just cut the root off and put the whole plant in and wrapped it up. Pretty stupid. This place won't survive. Much better pizza places around here like Brooklyn or Denino's. I tried it for the reviews but think it was family and friends that wrote them.

Not only does the food taste truthfully out of this world, but you will also find that the service is incredible! From the moment you walk inside, you are met with a ton of friendly faces who without a doubt will treat you just like family. They are incredibly kind people who put hard effort into making sure that each meal is prepared with care, and that each person feels safe and comfortable under their roof. I must also comment that I myself am a very picky eater with odd sensory difficulties. It is typically very difficult for me to find many foods or meals that I feel are safe to eat, and that don't trigger any sort of reluctance. However at Thymes, they offer a wide variety of different meals and desserts, so locating something that I felt was both appetizing and safe to eat was no problem at all. I've been a proud frequent flier for the past 3 years, and without a doubt intend to keep going back as much as possible before I go off to college next year. To say that I will genuinely miss Thymes and more so the generous souls that have always been there for me is an understatement. More than five stars if I could. Keep up the amazing work.

Good food only goes so far when the customer service makes you not want to return. After our most recent experience, I even sent the owner a private message directly rather than immediately posting a negative review, giving them an opportunity to respond or at least acknowledge the issue. I never received a response. That was really the final straw for me. Mistakes happen and service can have an off day, but completely ignoring a customer who reaches out directly says a lot. There are too many places in the area with both good food and good service. We won't be back.

Well mannered , knowledgeable about the menu , sincere all well moving with a purpose. He treated us a lonely table of 2 like we were his only priority well simultaneously handling a 10 , 4 and 6 top. We sat in the side dining room facing the kitchen pass. We watched 6 pros handle business. Minimal words just chin gestures and some pointing. Some serious heat was moving thru that kitchen being passed to runners that kept that fire alive calling for garnish extra sauce and accoutrements as if it was Orchestra.Food was phenomenal. Egregious portions. Flavors layer. Sweet salty fatty creamy one after another nothing standing too far out or too far behind. The spice in the seafood dish was about right to let you know it was there but not over stay it's welcome. Plump seafood with a clean finish. We shared a bite with each other and went for seconds. The dessert a catcher's mitt size of chunk of old style ricotta cheese cake. Mind you all this was happening when they were serving a wedding of 50 in the back room. Two cons. The a/c wasn't working it was a little warm. I won't harp too much on that we had extreme weather the day prior. Number 2 . Truffle oil. The table next to us ordered truffle fries. We smelt it , the table on the far side of us smelt it. Truffle oil is so strong you can smell it on your clothes the next day.

Even though it was a little loud, it was a great night until we left. I scraped my leg on the platform for musicians - it wasn't well marked. This place is a hidden gem! The name is a bit confusing--they seem to go by two names--so check out…read morethe photo I posted to make sure you're in the right spot. Honestly, it's good enough to deserve both names. The potato latkes (or pancakes, depending on what you call them) absolutely stole the show. They came out hot and crispy straight from the fryer, served with sour cream and applesauce--every bite was better than the last. One thing I really appreciated: the owner/chef is very knowledgeable about the ingredients. I eat gluten-free, and he confidently assured me the latkes were gluten-free. I had no issues afterward, which is always the best confirmation. My husband had the pastrami sandwich and loved it. I ordered the brisket with coleslaw and a pickle--very good overall. It was just a touch salty for my taste, but I'd definitely order it again, maybe with sauce next time for a bit of balance. Also worth calling out: the place was absolutely spotless. It's rare to see a restaurant this clean and well-kept, and that really stood out. Already planning my next visit--those latkes alone are worth the trip!
