Went for Mothers Day buffet. The restaurant decor was very nice, and our server was great. The food was delicious and the buffet offerings provided good variety. Everything was delicious! The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is they appeared to be a little understaffed as they had a hard time keeping the buffet stocked, and had several empty offerings on every buffet station on each trip. That said, we'll definitely be returning. read more

We stayed at Glenora after touring a few wineries and looked forward to a wonderful dinner at Veraisons. Unfortunately, the menu we found online wasn't presented, the only offerings were a Reuben sandwich, corned beef and cabbage, or a pick your own ingredient pasta bar. Never again. read more

My husband and I decided to splurge and have dinner here. We were seated on the patio overlooking vineyards and Seneca Lake. Five star seats and view! Our server was nice and prompt. Looking at the menu the Lobster Ravioli caught my eye as did the price!! I gave a lot of thought to this $47.00 entree and sadly, ordered it. No salad included. The ravioli was in a thin watery white sauce, there was no lobster flavor and the dough was dry and hard around the edges. My husband had the Friday fish special and the fish was very dry. It was decent, but I felt like the menu led me to believe it was going to be a bit better than it was. Ahi Tuna was good (but really when is it not?). But I would say didn't taste as fresh as some I've had. Carolina Chicken Sandwich was good. Pretty basic, but good chicken. The sweet potato fries were underwhelming. Not crispy enough. Wings were good. I would order those again. My husband said his Artisan Bowl was good but he said had he not added Salmon to it it would have felt VERY light, and was a pretty small portion all around. We ordered to go in our room because our kid was throwing up (sadness) so perhaps my whole experience would have been different had we dined in. They do have a gorgeous patio with a few of the vineyards and the lake. read more

The view is lovely! However the service left a lot to be desired. We were seated 20 minutes before the waiter visited the table and then waited another 20 minutes before our wine was delivered with the appetizer. With the charcuterie they went for quantity over quality. read more

It was a weekday and lunchtime. After several winery tastings, we were a bit road weary and ready for a good lunch. This was the first place we saw, and it looked so inviting with a gorgeous view of Senaca Lake. This restaurant was on the lower level with units that have lodging, a great idea! We were seated promptly at a table with a lake view at our request. They also offer outside open air seating on the deck overlooking the same view. Then the wait began, too long for a simple drink order, it was close to 10 minutes. Our server arrived with another young lady in training. We ordered Veraison's burger, well done-it comes with pepper jack cheese. The only substitute was white American, so that was it. The serving came with in-house potato chips, which was a nice touch. This was enjoyed and filling. I ordered the French Onion Soup, they offer a cup or a bowl. Being hungry, I chose the bowl. Generally speaking, this is my favorite soup. The soup arrived in a large bowl, no cheese on top (audible sigh), only a beef broth with cooked onions and a slice of cheese crusted bread on the side and fried frizzled onions. I might add it was a scant serving of soup. The soup was lukewarm, not hot, I can see that there is way too much surface area, causing a drop in temperature from kitchen to table. Any delay would not help. It was extremely salty, so much so it blocked the flavor of the beef broth. Right there I should have sent it back, but being very hungry, I ate it and thought about what just happened. The server came by, and I told her about the saltiness. She said some of the customers had the same comment. I coulda, woulda, shoulda ordered something else, but really dislike the idea of eating a meal when the rest of the others are done. Service was slow. on their behalf, they did have a large group on the deck. A military discount is offered, but let them know before ringjng up the check, they can do nothing after. read more

The food was great and the service was great too! I had the surf and turf and my husband had the filet. The seafood chowder was excellent! The Apple Carmel cheesecake was delicious, and light for cheesecake, the Carmel added a nice salty to the sweetness of this dessert. We had a great dining experience and will return! read more

The service was excellent. Waitress paid attention to details. The wine and food pairing went well together. Our food was exceptional.

If this was solely based on our service I would give a 5/5, our waiter was fantastic! I only wish the food matched the service. We did the prefixed Valentine's Day menu. Which included a lobster tail and filet. We started with the mushroom soup which was cold and under seasoned, desperately needed salt. We ordered bread for the table as well. The fact they they don't give you bread on their own is crazy to me. The lobster was over cooked on my plate and the filet had a weird fishy tasty that even the lobster didn't have. The dessert was good but not what we were expecting. Overall, not somewhere we would go again. read more

We really enjoyed the Thursday tapas and cocktail/wine pairing. The view of Seneca Lake from the restaurant is great year round, but we particularly liked dining on the expansive covered, lighted outdoor deck. We used to love going there but haven't been for 2 years. Tonight we took friends and everyone was very disappointed. We used to love the Caesar salad, it had large pieces of shaved parm and baked slivers of cheese. This was just chopped up lettuce with dressing. Fantastic staff. Desiree is the most welcoming hostess. Cam is a wonderfully personable and excellent server. Fantastic view of Lake Seneca. We were fortunate to get one of the outdoor tables nearest to the lake view. Best thing I ate was the strawberry shortcake dessert. They must have a wonderful pastry chef. Yummy sweet whipped cream. Tart lemon curd. A biscuit that tasted outrageous soaked in a sweet syrup. Sweet fresh strawberries covered in syrup. I will remember this great dessert. My salmon entree was very good. I enjoyed the succotash and green beans. The basmati rice was ordinary; didn't taste any coconut milk, and thought it didn't look like basmati rice; I hear there are shortages of lots of items due to COVID, so maybe they couldn't find basmati rice. The salmon was well prepared but my particular portion was fattier than I like; when I buy raw salmon, I avoid the portions that appear that way. The tab for our meal was lower than I expected. Overall, a wonderful experience. We always visit Veraisons at least once when in the Finger Lakes. read more

What a treat all around! Attended private event last night of about 65 business professionals. Lots of parking at or near the door, well manicured and inviting entrance. From my perspective presentations were AV glitch-freech in a room full of BIG WINDOWS providing a stunning setting overlooking the fields as they linger down to intoxicating & inviting Seneca Lake. Verisons layout allowed for sign in and swag in one room which ideally ajoined both the event room and the bar. We had a hosted bar with over 8 options - including of course "house" s I chose the Glenora reisling , my colleague the Nut Brown Ale, another a mixed cocktail, we all commented on how accommodating the Bar Server was. Our event set up had 6fts and high rounds - perfect for the late arrivals to slip in the back at high tops. Stations included seared aha tuna, gourmet waffle tapas, charcuterie, warm cheese fondue set with fresh and a great beef Boulebaisse. Dessert was a perfect choice of cheesecake with fresh berries or seasonally appropriate choclate- pumpkin cake. Highly recommend Glenora and their team for an event if you are looking to impress. read more

Stopped for a quick lunch while driving though the area. The view is spectacular!!!! The wine was tasty and the service was great. Our server was very attentive. Nice menu, gluten free is available. I had a delicious pork chop on the bone-Perfect. However that was where the compliments end. My hubby didn't enjoy his overcooked filet mignon medallions he asked for Med rare & It was well done. My lukewarm Expresso martini was blah - disappointed. His unchilled, lukewarm martini at least tasted ok . We had to ask 3 times for club soda. Older Waitress needs more training -not on the ball at all. Beautiful views outside on the terrace at this restaurant! We stopped in for lunch while tasting wine and we enjoyed the company, the views, and the food! You never know if a place with great views will also have good food, but everything was tasty. Jim G had the burger (cooked to a perfect medium rare) and I enjoyed the soup of the day (roasted red pepper) and the warm prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella. Service was ok. Our server Mimi seemed quite busy and the place may have been a bit understaffed. Seems to be the theme coming out of Covid. Our busser/food runner, whose name I did not get, was quite helpful and friendly. read more

The Veraisons restaurant is actually apart of the Glenora wineries. The restaurant has fantastic views especially as the night sets. The restaurant is next to what seems like a hotel setting at the winery, so I would definitely make a reservation. They were able to accommodate a group of 8. A couple of us got the Veraisons burger, i don't know if it was because i was very or hungry or the burger was very good, i think its somewhere in the middle. Two people got the gumbo, 1 liked it, the other did not. That is not something I'd order from a place i have never been to. My wife got the salmon which she liked, and i don't remember anything else about the entre meals. For the appetizers we got the bread which came with a dipping sauces, the fried calamari and the roasted peppers, all three were good and i would reccomend trying them. read more

Maybe more of a 3.5 for the food, but the staff was amazing, the pours were hefty, and the views were incredible. My chicken was a tad dry, but the cheese flight was very good, and well thought-out. We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It was one of the few that was open when we visited while Finger Lakes were opening up. We made reservations through Yelp for 2 for dinner. They had great social distancing protocols in place with servers wearing masks, and directly traffic in one way directions. Atmosphere: 5 stars. The lake view is absolutely amazing. We sat on the deck outside which was covered to provide sun protection, and loved the lake/vineyard views. It's a great place to walk around after dinner. Food: 3.5 stars. We ordered house made bread with cheeky Monkey tomato sauce which was a great way to start the meal. My boyfriend had the burger with fries. The burger was decent, but slightly dry. I had the salmon with fennel marmalade, orzo and ragout which I devoured and enjoyed. The salmon was cooked perfectly with slightly crisp on the outside but moist on the inside. We ordered creme brûlée with raspberries for dessert. Unfortunately, this was the slightly disappointing part of the meal as it was almost completely liquid. The flavor was delicious, but the texture threw us off. We didn't try any of the wines or beers as we had just been wine tasting that afternoon. Service: 5 stars. We loved our waitress Darby. The seating is comfortable outdoors and the view is fantastic. The complimentary bread with a trio of spreads was delicious. The mixed drinks were hit and miss. The charcuterie board had a delightful presentation and lots of goodies (such as sliced strawberries, tart dried cherries, and golden raisins) to break up the flavors. We were in a little over our heads with the unusual meats, but it was definitely memorable. I thought that it was satisfying for the price. The paparadelle was fantastic. There was ample, savory pork, sweet carrots, and delicate noodles. It was a very comforting dish. I would absolutely order this again especially as one of the cheapest things on the entree menu. My boyfriend was lukewarm about the filet mignon. It certainly wasn't bad, but I think his expectations were very high considering the price tag. Customer service was quite good although it was a little slow at times, even though there were only 3 or 4 couples on the deck at the time. read more

Enjoyed our 10th Anniversary dinner last night here at Veraisons. This was a wonderful experience to say the least. Everything from our drinks to dessert was phenomenal. Every detail throughout the evening, noticed and much appreciated! And our entrees were outstanding, and we've dined well. Wifey had salmon, cooked to perfection. My choice, the Filet Mignon (w/ cheddar grits, bacon brussels, sage butter, and buttermilk onion rings) was the real star of the show! My gawd. I literally put my fork and knife down to enjoy my first bite slowly. Then dessert. Wow. We had the parsnip pecan cake cake with candied oranges, maple crunch, and maple cinnamon ice cream for dessert!!! Must try this place!!! read more

Time for some lunch. Atmosphere - The restaurant is really a banquet hall. They take it up a notch with linens on the table but it is just a hall. If you look at my pictures you notice two different signs that had different lunch hours. Food Drinks - Just water, I know they had a wine list but did not look to see if they had beer. Lunch - I had a ham and chorizo Panini which I wondered where the meat was. The chorizo was thin slices of sausage. The sandwich was pretty much toasted breed. The potato chips were good. Service - Fine. 18% tip included with 6 or more people in your party. Future - Pass. read more

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at Glenora on a sunny, fall afternoon! Wonderful, friendly service and the food was unexpectedly delicious! It was cool, but we chose to sit on the deck to take in the incredible view. The staff was accommodating when we asked to start one of the patio heaters for us. We started with two glasses of sparkling - one blanc de blanc and one brut. We enjoyed both, they were very well-balanced. We then ordered the Squash Pumpkin soup and the Chicken Pot Pie. The soup was hearty, well-seasoned, and full of fall flavors. The pot pie came in a crock and was topped with a flaky, buttery crust, reminiscent of a french croissant. The pot pie filling was perfectly seasoned and had large pieces of chicken and potato (all tasted home-made - no can of cream of chicken soup in here!) The crock sat on a serving board and had a salad alongside - beautiful presentation! Overall, our experience was top-notch and can't wait to go back and try more menu items! read more

This was a really beautiful restaurant and wonderful service throughout! I loved the views of the lake and the pictures of local waterfalls and parks throughout. The wait staff was very friendly and the ambiance was very nice. Food was pretty good, I had their Reuben which was good but expensive at $14.00 coming with house chips only. My friend got the Turkey sandwich which had very little flavor, a bit disappointing. We did try the yucca fries which were very tasty! I would recommend those! This was a nice place to come for lunch during a Seneca lake wine tour I'd recommend it to anybody visiting Glenora winery who is feeling hungry. read more

Great deck overlooking the lake. We were seated promptly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection is vast. I chose the lam carpaccio. Outstanding flavor the arugula and a perfect soft boiled egg really brought this dish to the top. Selection choices are limited due to COVID but it was worth the trip. read more
