Had a lovely lunch here after a walk around Watkins Glenn. Highly recommend the crab cakes- some of the best we've had. The shrimp/lobster roll was great as well. The seafood dip was okay, bread that came with it was a little stale. The lavender lemonade was not the best either IMO- the lavender syrup had a strong alcohol taste (I'm pretty sure there was no alcohol in it ) Then we took a nice walk to the doc. Was great!!! Hit and miss for me. The view is spectacular! Parking in the back and side. Reservations are recommended since seating is limited. Nice menu. The first time I went the Caesar salad was drenched in dressing. The shrimp dish was good, the rice was dry and not a lot of taste. The spicy painkiller drink was interesting. The second visit I had the portobello mushroom dish, it came with two mushrooms, I didn't novice the little specs of broccoli at first. When I asked the waitress she confirmed there was broccoli in it I explained I am allergic To broccoli. She simply went and got me one portobello mushroom in a to go with no broccoli on it, and that was it. Not sure if I will return for a third visit. read more

We came to Seneca Harbor Station for lunch after hiking in Watkins State Park. We ordered the Cheesesteak Eggrolls ($16.99), Calamari ($18.99), New England Clam Chowder (crock size $10.99), and Ahi Tuna ($$19.99). I only liked the chowder as it was thick, savory, and flavorful. The Ahi Tuna was not good... We also ordered the pina colada smoothie ($10) which was nice, but the ice chunks were a little too big so they kept getting stuck in the straw. read more

Came here for lunch. The restaurant is nice and offers great water views from the dining room. Our server was friendly and checked in on us regularly. Unfortunately, the food was only average. I got the Ahi Tuna salad and seafood pasta. The tuna wasn't particularly good and the portion size was small for $20. The seafood pasta was mostly pasta and had virtually no seafood. There were 2 small shrimps, a couple of mussels, and what appears to be mostly frozen clam meat mixed into the sauce. It's a far cry from actual seafood pasta. read more

It was a nice mild day and we sat outdoor by the track overlooking the lake. I had the Seafood Roll with Sweet Potato Fries while sipping Blood Orange Cosmo, and hubby got the Ruben Sandwich. Fabulous location with stunning views and very attentive service. The prices are on the expensive side though the size of the portions makes up for some of that. The lobster mac&cheese tastes great, and can easily be shared between two of three people. read more

After a day of wine tasting, my friends and I decided to check out Seneca Harbor Station. It's a really cool place. It's interesting to me this restaurant used to be a train station. The atmosphere by the lake is amazing, and the view of the lake is incredible. We were seated on the other side of the restaurant. They mostly serve seafood and steak, but they also have a Cesar salad and spicy rice which was enough for me. Our server, Katie, was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We had a great time at Seneca Harbor Station, and I highly recommend it if you're ever in Watkins Glen/Seneca Lake. read more

Stopped in on a Tuesday evening while passing through Watkins Glen. I'm trying to eat healthy so I don't generally expect many compatible menu choices at restaurants. I was pleased to see enough items to make it hard to choose. Ordered their seafood salad w/aloi dressing. It was larger than I expected with a generous amount of shrimp and lobster. Dressing was on point. Ambience is great and you can eat inside or out on the deck with nice views. The server was attentive and friendly, and the service was fast. This is an absolute must visit if you're in Watkins Glenn. Food 5/5, service 5/5, and ambiance 5/5!!!! We stopped in here for a glass or wine and took a walk on the pier they have by the restaurant. It's very relaxing and the views are spectacular. The lake is just so beautiful! Service was outstanding! The team was accommodating when we wanted to sit in a specific area with a waitress who was so kind to us. Calya is amazing!!!! Food was also really good! First time in Watkins Glen. Chose Seneca Harbor Station as its close to the hotel. Captain's Seafood Platter was generally mush. The shrimp were flavorless and soaked in some oil mixture. The most edible was the crabcake & French fries. The calamari was very disappointing. Seafood bisque was also good. Beautiful place for on the water. Worst burger I've been served in my entire life. The crabcake and fish with the mashed potatoes were so cheap. The cheese sauce was disgusting barely any meat.. the cheese sauce tasted like something you would get from a movie theater. Everything tasted like cheap. The best clam chowder I've had in years! Honestly, it was so so good. I also had the bbq ribs with shrimp and roast potatoes. Everything was delicious & the waiter was so nice. I visited the restaurant back in 2015 and still remember the spectacular views behind the restaurant. So I came back for dinner again. The gorgeous views are still there. It looked even more amazing this time in the evening. Restaurant has open air patio seating which is important to me since I don't want to sit inside. About the food, portions are generous. The complimentary garlic bread was very good. However, the food doesn't measure up to the price. Our two fish entrees were very bland. There is also a credit card surcharge. This would have been a three star rating but I have to add one star for the view. This place is swamped by tourists during peak season. read more

Lovely lunch. I had the seafood roll and it was very good. My friend had the chipotle chicken salad. Both good portions and delicious.

The Good: was a very busy Saturday, but they were able to seat us quickly in the porch area that was somewhat quieter than the main dining space which was very loud. Service was quick and efficient. The seafood bisque was outstanding. The roasted Brussel sprouts, especially with the bacon topping, was delightful. My wife's Jambalaya was delicious. The Bad: the porch had a haze of smoke from the kitchen (exhaust hood not working?) and we came out with our clothes smelling of greasy/burned food. My haddock, shrimp and scallops were all WAY over cooked (Sahara desert dry) and so were my friends chicken breats. The garlic potatoes were so thick that I had to drown them in the butter/a jus from the scallops/shrimp to make them somewhat edible. The prices are extremely high considering the poor food quality. Ordered the ceasar salad and coconut shrimp as an appetizer , great but the portion size was a bit on the small side. Main was a build your own burger with bacon, Swiss, onions and peppers and it was excellent and so were the fries. The lobster mac and cheese was totally awesome...my husband had prime rib and it was also prepared to perfection. We were disappointed that a salad was at an extra cost with the meal, but chose to have something at home instead. We paid with a gift card after asking the waitress if it counted as cash (she said yes, so we gave her the balance in cash). Well, the change was brought to the table and it was for a credit card sale....guess what her tip was? So sad..we were not going to argue...just adjusted her tip! We loved the location, with the beautiful views of the harbor. I sat outside on the deck, and although it was a hot day, the ceiling fans kept us cool. My partner and I had the cheesesteak sandwiches which were quite good, with the beef being tender and flavorful. It is a bit expensive, but the location and ambiance is well worth a visit.
