Restaurant Review…read more Unfortunately, our second visit was a major disappointment. We came back because we really enjoyed our first experience, but tonight the food and service were both subpar. We ordered the $50 prime rib medium-rare, but it arrived closer to medium and had very little flavor. When we mentioned it, our waitress explained that it's pre-cooked rather than acknowledging the issue. My shrimp and andouille over rice had good flavor, but the shrimp was overcooked and there was very little sausage. The service was even more disappointing. We waited nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged at the host stand, another 10 minutes for water, and another 10 before our waitress even came over. She never checked on us during our meal--the host actually checked on us first after we had finished. For $140 and over 1 1/2 hours spent mostly waiting, we expected much more. The drinks were good, and we appreciated that our shrimp dish had nice flavor, but unfortunately we won't be returning.

I was advised that the pork chop was a large cut of meat and would take some time to cook through which was fine because we had opted to sit outside and were delighted to watch the sunset. The entrees were excellent, and came out quicker than we expected. Overall, we had a great experience. If you have the chance to sit out on their patio, I definitely recommend it as you'll get beautiful views of Seneca Lake, and the boats coming into dock.
