Nice find in the Charleston/Summerville area. Very friendly crew....they let me try 4-5 varieties of chicken salad to ensure I picked the flavor profile I liked most. A lot to love here....fresh, tasty (as in DELICIOUS!!!) CS and the loaded potato soup was amazing! This spot was perfect for a quick lunch and very affordable. I'd skip the potato chips...not individually bagged.

First time going to chicken salad chick! Got the sassy Scotty on a croissant- my boyfriend liked it but the bacon in it was way too chewy for me. Thankfully I got a side scoop of the Dixie chick and omg I am obsessed. I devoured it with the side of crackers they give you. My boyfriend got the jalapeño holly which was spicy and delish! Only thing is I wish they put more chicken salad on the sandwich. Their little buttercream topped cookies that come with your meal are also amazing.

The service was very fast and the cashier informed me of some of the most popular Sellers. She didn't rush me to order was very patient with me because this was my first visit. I was excited the lemonades were not a up charge. The sandwich was so good. I opened my box when I got to the car to just look at my food but I took a bite and I couldn't stop eating it lol. I enjoyed my lunch it was the Sassy Scotty by the way, came with a cookie and a pickle my side was a bag of chips. Next time I will sit inside and enjoy.

This was just in our chicken salad. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Will not be coming back to this location.

Long piece of hair entangled in our chicken salad. Not okay, I urge you this location to find out who did this as this is not the first time here. Will not be coming back to this location

Free kids every Tuesday! Well, not so much anymore. Came almost every week for dinner and tonight we find out the embarrassing way that the kids eat free deal "never existed." I suppose they've replaced the free meal with free gaslighting. Really not worth the drive. Decent chicken salad but small portions.

Loved this place! They were very busy during the lunch hour but they hustled! And the girl taking my order answered all of my millions of questions about their menu. I got the regular chicken salad on wheat and then a scoop of the Nancy's Nutty salad. I couldn't really taste much of a difference but that could be good or bad depending on your preferences. For me, I was hoping it would be a little more flavorful since it wasn't the basic salad. It was still delicious though and we also liked the broccoli cheddar soup. The food was perfect for a quick lunch and we will definitely be back!

Great location located in the azalea square shopping center. If you like chicken salad this is the place for you. Their dill chicken salad and the sassy Scotty are my top favorites along with the Barbie Q chicken salad. I went In today and order the Barbie Q Chicken sandwich. I'm guessing it's bring your kid to work day today. There was a kid working behind the counter and who brought out my food for me. They also honor military discounts. Go give them a try. They are my favorite sandwich place.

I was so intrigued by this place, that it specializes in a variety of chicken salads. I've never heard of a place like this! I looked at the menu forever to decide what flavor I wanted, there are tons. Everything from Buffalo, to jalapeño to lemon basil. I decided on lemon basil. I opted to get it in sandwich form. I was disappointed when they said their toaster was broken! There's not two?! And then further disappointed to see that I was given the plain chicken salad instead of the flavor I chose. That's kinda the issue with to go orders, you don't see your order was wrong until it's too late. This basic chicken salad was good but it just really defeated the purpose of me trying this place to begin with. If your going to specialize in something like this, do it right! Cute concept...

I'm a sucker for good chicken salad. Reminds me of my favorite childhood lunch my mother would send on special days.Equally good is their pimento cheese. I don't do gluten so I ask for lettuce to use in place of bread (maybe one day they will have a gluten free bread option too). Simple goodness. Great trays for large group entertaining made easy.

The facility was clean and well stocked. The quality of food is not worth the crowding or wait time that so many are subjected. As a single person party, I chose to find a seat at the bar. It was not overly large and was monitored by 2 servers. I was fairly quickly addressed to get my drink and I ordered a starter without prompting due to the number of patrons. Another sat beside me but she was overlooked for quite a bit of time, finally having to ask for a menu. Once my starter arrived, the okra basket, I was ignored. The okra was ok but nothing special, standard premade restaurant supply brand of thickish breading that was intermittently soft or crunchy. I was 1/4 way through the basket before I had a chance to request cutlery and seeing that the servers had started to focus only on the person next to me that they had initially overlooked, I also requested my entree. I had reviewed the menu prior to arrival and decided on my order in advanced. Unfortunately it was not available on the brunch menu and lunch was not an available option. I should have asked for the check at that time but selected an omelette instead. While waiting and consuming my starter, I requested a menu draft to be told it was unavailable too. The suggested alternative was decent. My entree arrived about 20 minutes later. It was dry, both the eggs and protein. I was able to request and receive a sauce in a short period of time. My refill did not need to be requested but it was incorrect so I did have to ask for another. I know the staff is most likely good, the popularity produced by the Travel Channel keeps them too busy and complacency is prevalent. I had hoped that the publicity did not change the uniqueness of the menu but I will trust my intuition in the future and continue to avoid these types of restaurants.

My husband and I came in for dinner and sat at the bar. We started with the cheese fritters & bacon jam. We initially thought the bacon jam was missing, but the fritters were great so we just kept eating them! When we got down to the last one, we both realized the "odd looking fritter" in the bowl that we were both avoiding, was the jam (oops!). It was a similar color and shape to the fritters but we both just laughed about avoiding it. For my entree, I was sold on the "award-winning" shrimp & grits that were featured on the Today show (as per their menu). Surprising that this meal made it that far as it didn't taste like anything special to me. It was not bad but very basic/plain; so basic that it felt like something was missing. It was the same case with my husband's meatloaf. However, I would still recommend checking this place out and deciding for yourself if you like it here ;)

This time we climbed to the second floor to find a table at what I would describe as the most inviting bar in the South due to the eclectic decor and the appearance of the bar itself with dozens of upside down bottles hanging from the ceiling that at first I thought they were there just to decorate the place but nooo! they actually poured the specialty bourbon we ordered which BTW was very good and was only 90 proof which was a very nice match to my Yingling, we spent about two hours there and not because the service was slow but because we were having a good time, at times was a little loud but my out of town friends truly enjoyed the kind of place, they said that next time they come to town they would like to come back to the very same table. She failed to indicate that they have off the menu items, and specials on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It was kind of hard to choose since I had been eating seafood all week leading up to this visit and also trying to avoid fried foods this year. I ended up choosing the mussels and bowl of gumbo, along with a sweet tea. The tea tasted fairly similar to a lipton sweet tea from the soda fountain and not really something homemade and infused with fresh juices. Mussels - these were really good. Even if half of the mussels fell out into the broth during preparation. Gumbo - this was kind of questionable. My colleague also saw the redish hue of the liquid and said he was glad he didn't order it. It was filled with a lot of seafood, but the liquid was just too creamy. My colleague also commented on the etouffee that was being brought out to other nearby tables and supposedly it looked too dry. I also ordered a to go dessert. The bread pudding. It ended up being pretty decent though.

The shrimp and flounder were nicely cooked without heavy breading. The hush puppies were weird. They were cooked but had almost a beer batter thick outside and the inside tasted almost like raw meal or flour. Tasted greasy but they were not visibly greasy. Since it's their namesake, one would think the hush puppies would be great. I couldn't eat them. The fries had batter on them. They were crispy. I prefer no batter on fries but for those who like that, you'd probably like them. Now the sauces: the tartar was too salty and was missing something that I couldn't figure out. The cocktail sauce was also too salty but did have a nice horseradish kick. There was something missing from it too that I couldn't put my finger on. Maybe it was just the salt overload messing it up. Overall the seafood itself was pretty good but the sides and sauces bring my review down.
