The Chef has changed since that time too, bringing a fresh new and exciting menu to the table as well as a 7 course Tasting menu you can also try - we went for the tasting at $130 pp and it was well worth it. It would be too lengthy to try to describe each dish but all but one ( the Larchmont Farm Nectarine) was extraordinary. There is a very small cocktail/wine list now. The most expensive wine being around $50 or so. If you BYO, there is a $25 corkage fee. All the staff were very friendly and informed and described each dish as it was presented. Most of the tables were full the entire night. Not an inexpensive meal but we will return and most likely just order from the regular menu.

We started with a prosecco from the Veneto and some nice appetizers. This was a five course menu preceded by cocktails. The ambiance was an older farmhouse and we sat at a long table with Gail our wine presenter/expert sitting across from us. There were approximately 18 guests. The kitchen was open for us to see and aromas were pleasant . The food was outstanding and we particularly enjoyed the pappardelle and Osso Buco my wife has some leftovers. The wines were perfectly paired and we really enjoyed them all. The Nizzi Barbera was notable. Service was great and Gail was excellent providing history and explanations of all the wines. The second pairing had a bit of an issue with a corked bottle but all was made right. The chef came out as each course was served to explain the dishes and their preparation. The host told me to go to the bar to pick up the order. So I stand where she told me to and the bartender greeted me in a very rude manner. I told him that I am picking up a door dash order. He basically scoffed at me, told me he has nothing to do with that. I said the host told me to pick it up here. He continued to give me an attitude telling me "oh well." Then a minute later after he turned his back on me, he started yelling across the room with the host about me being directed over to the bar to get an order. They fought briefly over who should be responsible for finding out about the order. Nothing was settled between them and the bartender said nothing to me about whether he was going to go check on it or someone else was. I just continued to stand in that spot and a few minutes later, he did go get the order for me. First off, why was so this hard for this guy? ALL he had to do was ask if I am being helped, then when I tell him I am picking up an order, all he had to say was "Ok, I'll go check on that order for you." That's it, that is all it takes. Instead he gave me nothing but attitude as if I am annoying him and invading his space. Sir, your JOB is customer service. That's it. Do your job! If you cant do the bare basics of customer service, then you shouldn't be working in a restaurant. I don't know his name but his arms were covered in tats and he had a full dark beard.

The place has a good-sized dining area with booths, high tops, and bar seating. The staff was warm, welcoming, and impressively patient with my million questions about the "daily specials." Devil's Acre rotates deli, dog, salad, tot, and soup options each day - definitely ask what kind of mischief the chef is up to before ordering. After some back-and-forth, I played it safe (?) with the Fried Chicken Sandwich while he went with the Beef on Weck. We started with the pretzel bites, which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment - six small pieces with a lackluster dipping sauce. Wouldn't recommend. Unfortunately, the main event didn't redeem things. My chicken sandwich was underwhelming, small, and it could've used a good pounding to actually fit the bun. The beef had decent flavor but was begging for an au jus to take it to the next level. Both sandwiches came with chips, want fries instead? That's not just an up charge - it's a full side order, and you lose the chips in the process. All in, lunch set us back nearly $60 with tip, and we left feeling underfed in both flavor and value. With about 250 children and adults in attendance, the space handled the crowd effortlessly while still feeling immersive and electric from every angle. The Fuge itself is unlike any venue you'll ever step into. The history, the scale, the sheer character of the space--it's not just a backdrop, it's a canvas. And what makes it truly special is how that canvas can be transformed into literally anything you can imagine. I didn't just host a party--we built an experience. And none of that happens without the absolute dream team running the show: Jimmy is, simply put, a wizard. His command of audio/visual is on another level. Every cue, every transition, every visual element landed flawlessly. The lighting, the sound, the integration of all the moving parts--it was seamless and honestly mind-blowing. I spent 10-11 months working on AI-driven visuals and a custom montage for the immersive projection screen system, and seeing it all come to life--projected on an unbelievably massive, Disney/Epcot-like scale--was nothing short of surreal. It completely transformed the room and elevated the entire experience to another level. Allison kept the entire operation running like a Swiss watch. Organized, proactive, and always one step ahead, she made what could have been overwhelming feel completely under control. Heather handled contract management with precision and ease--making sure every promise she made came to life, stayed connected and on track. And Sam--the owner, the overseer, the visionary. What truly set the night apart, though, was how seamlessly The Fuge allowed me to layer in incredible elements: Cirque du Soleil-style aerialists soaring above the crowd, an insane laser show by Steve Paradis, high-energy hip hop dancers from "I Am Phresh," and of course the unbelievable band "Don't Call Me Francis", who turned the entire place into a nonstop party.
