Shady as hell! Beware this business! Same owners as the Grass Valley Location. Find a real Verizon store or go online! These people will let you believe that you are getting the same deal you'd get if you were dealing with Verizon directly. You aren't! They charge extra setup fees and their phones are more expensive. We were fools and went in thinking that they were a Verizon store. We explained that we ran into a glitch while ordering a couple new lines of service on the website. They told us that they could help. At the end of the transaction, the cost was significantly higher than the Verizon website. When I questioned this, the clerk explained it as taxes and setup fees. When we got out to the car and looked over the paperwork in detail, we discovered that they didn't honor the same phone price as the Verizon website was offering and we paid $100 extra. When I went back in, 5 minutes later, to question this she said "Yeah. Sorry about that. Our phones are more expensive sometimes. Unfortunately, there is a $50 restocking fee (per line) if you want to return them". Cold blooded sharks out here taking advantage of people in this economy. read more

The rep here named Milo was not helpful in transferring our Verizon old android phone to a newer iPhone I brought in to the store. He said the newer phone needed a battery and wanted sell us another phone. We left and came back hoping to get a different rep but Milo was the only one there . This time he helped us switch the phone over but only partially and did not help us access our hotspot which we told him was most crucial . We now have a phone that only had my contacts transferred over but none of our text messages. Now I have to start over somewhere else? He used a 3 RD party app to transfer my phone and said that Verizon does not have a dedicated app for transferring there customers old phones to new phones ? Seriously? Be warned about using this store ! read more

Terrible experience at this location with Associate named Milo. It was worse than terrible. He lied to me multiple times. The worst of it was he said we would get $800 for a trade in so we singed up for Ultimate plan to get the $800 rebate.... a few days later we came back to drop off the old phone (milo said we could take the old phone home to make sure everything transfered to the new phone correctly). Came back to drop it off, and he said "oops, I guess I told you the wrong price. You only get $300 rebate"! Like, WT?!?!? TERRIBLE! And trust me, that was not the only thing that was wrong with the whole experience. I left the store super upset, my son saw my tears as I walked back to the car at which he went back in to talk to Milo because my son was there when we originally singed up for new plan. Aparently, Milo told my son that he can file a complaint! Wow. To top all of this off, Milo called me 30 mins later to tell me that he discussed my situation with his District manager, and his manager would be calling me on Monday... can you guess that that call NEVER came! We were having trouble with one of the perks of my phone plan, she advised me to call Verizon customer service for help, then was talking very rudely about the customer service representative while I was on speaker phone for him to hear. She had made a mistake and he was trying to explain what had happened. Instead of owning up to her mistake, she said that he was dumb and should be fired. I see reviews are not that good. The bottom line is these people do not honor warranties. Period. They sold me a product and told me it had a lifetime warranty. When I took it in they told me they could do nothing and go to the manufacturer, that I needed the box even though I had a receipt and it was about six months ago. Also while waiting I got to hear a story from another want to be musician who worked their and ended up helping me. I went in the store today 12/20/23 to get my old phone info transferred over to my new phone. A young lady(wish I got her name) sales rep was the only person in there and said she could do it for me. It took a little longer cause of my mess up trying to do it myself but she had a great personality and gave updates on it. Another person came in to buy a new phone and she was able to handle both instead of pushing mine to the side. She did a great job. I went back later cause I forgot the phones box and she greeted me saying did you forget this! I ended up needing a new charger so she helped me find the right one. Went in knowing I wanted to upgrade my IPhone. I left with an iPhone 11. BUT, the staff member put in the wrong passcode. When I went back the next day after work, after 5:00 he denied adding a passcode!? How does an iPhone work without a passcode? I asked him to fix it and he said he couldn't & then sent me to the Apple store! They, of course, take only appointments and could not get me in that evening. I had no phone, living alone, in the country and I'm over 60 years old. I also made a needless trip to Roseville to the Apple store. Guess what, I fixed it myself! My wife and I recently moved to Auburn and discovered our AT&T cell phones barely worked. Our 2 neighbors recommended Verizon. I dreaded going into the store to switch service as I have had nothing but bad experiences in the past dealing with AT&T. I walked in and met Caleb and my reality was shattered! He was dealing with 2 customers at the same time and did not miss a beat. When it was my turn, I told Caleb I needed to transfer our existing numbers from AT&T to Verizon and he totally took care of it all while paying attention to a couple other people and answering questions for them. This task-master was all over it. In about 30 minutes both phones were transferred to Verizon and working perfectly. I am not sure what Caleb makes, but he deserves a raise. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! The customer service was so terrible my husband and I felt like we were being scammed. On top of the poor customer service, I found out after visiting the Verizon store in Roseville I had a trade-in promotion available that this store never even offered me. (The reason I went to the Roseville store after was to make sure these people didn't mess up my bill.) My bill is now $24 less a month after the Roseville store fixed it. I went in to switch from t-mobile. Verizon had a special going on, bring your own phones and get a $500. gift card for each phone to help pay off your final bill at the other carrier, ending 11/17. I waited 1 1/2 hours to be told by Kayla that the Gift card could only be used to pay towards Verizon bill. She was wrong! I had spoken to another store rep & customer service and told it could be used to pay T mobile. Horrible customer service as usual! (Been there before, years ago) Wish I could give them 0 stars. My husband and I were sold iphone screen protectors for the 14 pro Max, and they don't actually cover the entire screen. We were unaware of this until after the screens were already put on. We came back the next day and asked if we went and purchased the correct protectors if we could come back and return the incorrect ones, David A. told yes absolutely within 30 days. After spending another 100$ on screen protectors we are now being told they are unable to issue us a refund. 300$ later in screen protectors, and extremely rude sales associates, needless to say we are less than satisfied. read more

This Verizon location next to BelAire has two very poor managers, although the employees have always been helpful. The woman insisted that I hadn't bought my IPhone 13 pro there and kept insisting that I'd bought it at a different Verizon store or Best Buys - all because she couldn't find the paperwork in the computer. This is the third phone I've bought at this location and one of the employees immediately found it on my next visit. I showed it to her when she came out from the back - no comment from her. Then about two weeks ago, I went back with a question about my settings. Another manager, a man, was outside and didn't want to come inside. I insisted and he just stood inside the door and looked out the window, never at my phone. When asked, he stated he knows nothing about the settings, that he just sells them. ??? I heard from another store that the rating is just about 1 at this location; I fully understand and won't be buying from this location again unless management changes. Today I tried (woman manager again) to see if they would put a screen saver on but no - she asked whether I'd bought it from them - which I didn't - and said only if I had purchased it from them. . My husband and I purchased over $3,000.00 for two new phones and one iPad. First off, the sales rep said if we would take less for our trade-in's we could qualify for the welcome plan which is $30.00 per line per month unlimited text and data. we said sure. They also told us we couldn't pay for the phones and had to wait 30 days before we could finish paying for them. Not sure why but again we said okay. In the meantime, we get our first invoice and notice that the charge per line is now $55.00 instead of the $30.00 and that the iPad now had service applied. We went back to the same store to inquire about the additional charges. Of course the person that originally helped us was not in and we were told to come back another day and that there was no one in the store that could help us. Really? So needless to say I raised a stink and ended up being helped by someone who I imagine had authority. He indicated that he just walked in, at any rate it turned out that we didn't qualify for the $30.00 rate plan because that plan required a minimum of 4 lines. Again we said okay and agreed to the $55.00 per line per month unlimited text and data. Next we said we didn't want service on the iPad and never requested the service when we purchased it. We were informed that they didn't sell iPads without the service. I said fine, then we will return the iPad. They said no unless we pay a restocking fee. Of course I again raised a big stink and said, you sold us a iPad, but failed to tell us that there was a service attached, so basically, you lied to us. That makes it twice now of lies/failure to disclose information to the consumer. Well the person that came in suddenly helped us again and said we need to call to cancel the service to the iPad and that they would refund the money and activation fee. Okay, so we had to come back again and we made sure the iPad service was cancelled by having a different sales rep make the call and we cancelled. No refund as of this date. So today, we were going to go shopping and I got my phone and unboxed my usb charging cable to take with me in the car so I can charge my phone while I am driving. Turns out, the sales rep sold me the wrong cable for my new phone. I didn't choose the USB cable, the Verizon sales rep chose for me. So went back to the store today to exchange the wrong cable with the right cable. Can you believe, they refused citing the 30 day refund/exchange policy. This was their mistake, I didn't pick the wrong cable, they did. It has only been 55 days since this was originally purchased. Really? your not going to correct your mistake. I even offered to pay the difference if the right cable was more expensive than the wrong cable. Get this, when I asked to speak to someone else, like the sales reps boss, he refused to provide the information. Seems to me that would be public information. Needless to say, I don't trust anything these people say. They just fill your head with lies, don't honor anything, use the excuse it wasn't me, I don't know what went on, wasn't here, etc,... I went into this Verizon store yesterday and asked about using the hotspot on my iPhone. I wanted to know if it would use a lot of my data plan. I was told that if I used the hotspot it would cause the hard drive on my phone to quit working, the battery to explode and more than likely break the glass on the front of my phone. Oh, and cause the case to warp and expand. I thought the "tech" was joking. He was dead serious. Maybe he thought because I was an older woman I'd buy his bullshit. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE After placing my Verizon order for "same day curbside pickup" I didn't hear back that my order was ready for 1.5 hours so I called victra customer service and the gentleman that helped me checked my order and told me it was ready for pickup. I went into the store, it was 15 til they closed, but I thought if it was a curbside pickup it would be quick, right? I walk in and tell the lady (Caitlyn) what I was there for and she literally huffed and held her hand to her forehead, and said she couldn't process the order because she was closing in a few minutes. Then proceeded to tell me that activating my phone would take hours and she has to do it in store (inaccurate) and then told me that she has to back everything up for me and that would also take hours and have to be done in store (also inaccurate). So I guess my curbside pickup would have taken a reeeeallly long time, huh? She concluded with telling me I could come back tomorrow and talk to her manager. This is my first experience here, and lucky for me I get to go back tomorrow. Her encouraging me to come talk to the manager doesn't give me much hope, but I hope there is someone in the store that actually wants to help their customers tomorrow. read more

Would anyone trade in their phone for $25? I was told that I would get a rebate of approximately $400 to trade in my old iPhone 6s+ for a new IPhone 12 but that it would take 2 billing cycles before I got the credit. Three billing cycles later all I got was a $25 credit against my new $850 iPhones and when I spoke to the store manager she said that i wasn't eligible for the rebate because I didn't have the unlimited plan. This condition was never communicated to me and had I known, I would never had made the trade in. I would have sold my old phone on eBay certainly for more than $25. The person who told me I would get the $400 rebate with no mention of an unlimited plan as a precondition was named DJ and the manager of the Verizon Vectra store in Auburn (Kayle) was completely inflexible. Caleb was the only one I actually thought was good to work with but unfortunately he wasn't the manager. So my advice is to be very careful with this crew and get everything in writing. I would not recommend this place and I rarely give bad reviews. So I ended up paying off my new phone and will switch to another carrier which is bad business on their part as they lose out on a monthly revenue stream because they wouldn't honor their word. read more

I had ongoing issues with my cell's phone enternet connectivity, so after several calls to my current provider's technical support team (a different provider), my issues were related to insufficient and inadequate coverage in my area, and suggested obtaining a mobile device for a stronger signal. When I found out that my current provider contracts and lease their domain and services from other providers, and that dropped calls is an ongoing issue within my area, I was informed that Verizon is the preferred provider for the area. Upon my in-store appointment with the Verizon store's assistant manager, he spoke of common issues that that I, and others have in this area, and suggested several remedies that I had already heard of from my current provider. Due to this store's assistant manager's care, professionalism, attentiveness, understanding, knowledge, informativeness, and being very helpful, I was able to resolve my issues. If I could give them zero stars I would. I'm a very nice person and I usually never leave bad reviews but my experience was down right AWFUL!!! I went in after work intending on getting an international phone plan set up and I waited in the lobby for about 40 mins without one of the four employees even asking me if I needed help with something. I didn't even get a "we'll be with you in a moment" I wasn't even acknowledged and finally I had to speak up and ask someone for help and after another 10 more mins they finally gave me a PHONE NUMBER to call for help. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that I waited that long with no help just to be told to call another phone number. There was a man waiting in the lobby before I had walked in and he had been waiting a very long time too before being asked if he needed help. I'm a receptionist at a spa and I know how customer service should be and that was a sorry excuse if you ask me. I just can't explain how incredibly angry I am after this. 10/10 would drive 30 mins farther just to go to a different Verizon because this one SUCKS!!!!! First off, he said my bill would be $70 per month, but instead it's $80 per month. When I went back to the store, another employee said I'd get a discount because my employer is on their discount list, but that turned out to be incorrect as well. BUYER BEWARE! My wife just got snookered in this store, by the manager, Bruce Something himself. She went in to get a new iPhone 6, she was out of contract and expected to sign a new 2-year contract and pay $200 for a new phone. But the manager kept saying, "no-no, you don't need to sign a contract", it's better to sign up for this "Edge" thing. She tried to just pay up front the $200 but he kept steering her to the "Edge" thing, which he claimed was no money. As a matter of fact, she'd even get $200 back for her old phone! What he "failed" to mention was that the "Edge" program means you pay the full $800 for the device! Obviously ridiculous as she was out of contract and wanted to just sign a new 2-year contract. When we got home and received the first bill, we realized she'd been sold something other what he said, we went back to the store to have him fix it. The manager himself flat-out refused to fix it; refused to take any responsibility for the mess, and all he could lamely repeat was, "I'm sorry, there's really nothing I can do". His even lamer defense was saying, "well I did say it was no money in store". Meaning because he added "in store" he thought that was sufficient information to share that the phone would be $800 instead of $200. Not only was it sleazy how he sold my wife on this, but by totally refusing to do anything about it, he lost any chance of regaining a bit of respect. We finally called the corporate Verizon line and talked to a reasonable lady who said, "Yeah, some stores are like that", and promised to fix the problem. Thanks to Verizon. Buyer beware. This store is HORRIBLE. Go to a "real" Verizon store. Never had problems with Verizon until I met Anastasia at this ridiculous store. In two days, I spent over 16 hours at this location. Anastasia is a VERY HIGH PRESSURED manager/sales person that will say whatever you want to hear. Once she has your sale, don't count on her for any help, for example, don't ask questions about total mobile protections and or Protect Cell, something she signed me up for, because they won't have record of it, and will not return your phone calls because they are always helping other customers. She is a high pressure super salesperson who solicits your trust then comes in for the kill with her personality and smile. Buyer Beware! I was too snookered with the Edge Program and turned in my like new Galaxy S3 for NO CREDIT. Since my purchase she was promoted to Manager. I asked to speak with District Manager and they refused to share his email, phone or name with me. She copied him my emails but he would not respond. He went silent! What a sad representation for Verizon. I too contacted Verizon and they credited me for screen protector in which Anastasia said was a free courtesy, the set up fee and sim card for a total of $65.00. Verizon customer service also told me this should not have happened! There is no recourse except to write a review on YELP. Best Buy is best place in town to buy a phone. I have bought 12 phones over last 15 years and HAVE NEVER been snookered before. I love Verizon but am disappointed they allow an INDEPENDENT retail store to use the Verizon name! You can get super deals at Best Buy and Costco. Google the prices before you shop! There are specials all the time. I have been beating myself up that I could be so gullible. Do not buy anything from this franchise! We went into get a screen protector at the beginning of the month and noticed once we got home that we were charged twice. We returned the next day in order to sort things out and were told that they could not offer an immediate refund and was told that if I left my email and phone number I would be contacted by a lady who does their books who would issue a refund. We waited a couple more days and never heard anything from this lady as I was told I would be. So I then decided to call them on the phone to see what was going on. When I called in a lady manager who's name started with a V told me that she was sorry and that she would look into it and get back to me by last Thursday... Thursday passed no call... it is Monday now and I still hadn't heard from Anyone! So today I went into the store because I was right there, to try and demand that I get my refund because they were not following through with anything they had told me the 3 other times I had contacted them. When I went in there I was pretty upset that nobody has followed through with what they had told me all the other times I had contacted them. I was met with hostility rather being understanding of my frustration from both being double charged, and not being contacted back by anyone the multiple times I was told that I would be. They told me today that no refunds were sent out until the first week of the next month and that I would have to wait until then to receive my refund (of which they shouldn't of charged in the first place). This is the FIRST time they have told me this out of the many times I have contacted them! All I can say is that I am very upset and would not recommend that anyone spend any money at this franchise, not only are they incompetent and double charge people and make it very hard to get your money back but they also have a major company wide lack of follow through which I consider horrible costumer service.
