Additionally, he set us up for WIFI change from Cox to Verizon wireless. He demonstrated expertise in hardware/software, the transition process, and the engagement with Verizon Corporate functions (as TCC is a 3rd party vendor and not a Verizon full service center). His customer focus, professionalism - general personality - and product/transfer process knowledge made this a flawless experience. Never again. They love to sell you but they hate to offer after sale service. When questioned, the guy said they weren't Verizon, they were TCC. I said "what does that say on your sign", he said we are TCC, an agent! I recommend go to a Verizon corporate store if you want more than a run around! read more

1) You can't get someone to answer the phone. Nor do they return voicemails, despite indicating they will. If you call the store, they have a message saying they'll connect you to a live agent. However, right after that it says someone isn't available and to leave a message, so they can call back. They don't call back, even after days go by. 2) They try to bait and switch. I was told I'd get a free Apple Watch. They told me that 3x. They had it shipped to them. Then try charging me when I go to pick it up. I reminded them it's free. The rep apologized m, saying he'd check that he gets the promos mixed up. Comes back, saying I was correct and it's free. Then, my bill comes and I talk to Verizon. The store not only didn't give it to me for free. They charged full price. I wish I'd got to a real Verizon store. Now I have to spend more time trying to undo their mistakes and getting my money refunded. read more

Had a problem with my tablet. Went to my local Verizon store (Smyrna, DE) and asked for help. I was assisted by Ariana and she was FAB-U-LOUS! She was the only employee in the store and during the time I was there, she was assisting as many as four customers at a time. She was always courteous, friendly and extremely professional.. I was there for TWO (2) hours. From what I saw, the other customers were just like me........not happy when they arrived. Ariana greeted us all and explained that she would be with us shortly. It was truly amazing to see how she kept everybody in the loop without having a meltdown. I commend Ariana without reservation. She knows what she is doing and how to treat unhappy customers. She is truly an asset for Verizon. I hope the Verizon management realizes just how fortunate they are to have Ariana as their employee. read more

Dishonest, shady, deceptive. Sales guy attempted to add all kinds of ridiculous fees without explaining what they were and why we should have them. Offered to transfer data from my cloud account over to the new phone, did not tell me I was being charged. I could have done that myself, it is so easy these days, anyone can do it. Also added a $30 fee for "water insurance" which I did not initially catch. Went back to the store and was told it was part of the setup fee. It's a way for them to charge you $60.00 instead of $30.00 for something I could have done myself at home. read more

Stay away! The staff is misleading and nothing they said or promised was true. I was "upgraded" from a plan that was costing me $177 per month to a business plan that was to be the same price. It turns out the plan is $245.per month. They are not trustworthy people. read more

By far the worst customer service I have run into by far. I was called by their sales rep telling me that I needed to come in to resolve an issue caused by them. So I spend my time (1 1/2 in their store) and my gas (30 min each way) for the sales rep to get a IMEI number off of my phone. I could have given the number over the phone to them. Then the sales rep proceeded to tell me that This was all Verizon corporates fault because they stole the sale from him. That he has spent all this time trying to fix the stores inventory because of this. THATS NOT MY PROBLEM!!! This has nothing to do with me. He freely admits that I didn't do anything but yet I'm the one out gas money and time for your company to fix its issue. Compensation is needed for my time and gas by your company. My daughters iPhone 6 failed and we had to purchase an iPhone 7 back i August. We got a call this week telling us that they are under new management and we needed to come in and get her old phone. We went in and they had her remove her old phone from her iTunes account and then they kept the phone. Clearly they are reselling the phone someplace and screwing us. Stay away! read more

Last July purchased a phone to replace mine with a dead battery. Contract called for $300 rebate with 1 or 2 billing cycles. Insteadtbey are charging this vet 12.50 a month. We would like to commend Craig Burley at Verizon TCC for professional service and friendly assistance. We needed to link our Verizon service to our new iPhones. The store in Abington had fans going and sanitizer in two locations. Products were attractively displayed and we were greeted within minutes of entering though he was assisting two people with a phone sale. He asked what brought us in; as his customers picked a phone out, he helped another customer with a phone issue. When the phone sale was completed he resolved our issue quickly. It was a real pleasure to interact with him. He gave each customer his unhurried professional attention. He was able to multitask effectively. 0 stars. BUYER BEWARE. I stopped by to look at phones thinking this was a Verizon store. It looks like a Verizon store on the inside and the outside save for the "authorized retailer" sign that is small & black & not lit up. So at night, I didn't see it. The manager helped me, and talked me into a phone that met my requirements. He was helpful, and knew the facts. The phone I chose would be $100 after the rebate. I renewed my contract and was charged the $36 Verizon upgrade charge which is standard, but ridiculous. I signed the electronic box, and was handed my paper work. I usually do a lot of research on phones because I like them to last 2 years. I asked about the return time frame. He said it was 14 days. That was all he said. I went on my way. When i got home I found out this phone was only $50 after rebate on verizonwireless.com and .01 cent on amazon! Then I pulled out my paperwork and read that they charged an $80 restocking fee for smart phones. Absolutely ridiculous! Verizon only charges $35. I called Verizon to let them know how duped I felt. Had I known this wasn't an authorized retailer, I would have never walked in. They said that there was nothing they could do about it. I tried returning the phone to a real verizon store, and no dice. I went back to the location hoping they would be reasonable. The manger said he mentioned the restocking fee when i asked about the return time frame. He didn't. And even if he had, he certainly made no mention that there was an $80 restocking fee! There were signs on the desk outlining all of this, yes, but I feel like they should have given me a piece of paper with the terms before I was asked to sign the electronic box. To return the phone with such a huge restocking fee would be a waste of money. I'm usually a very cautions buyer, and now I remember why. Buyer beware. read more

I concur with Laura P. experience above. I was fooled too. I wish I had read the review before I went there. I will not go into the details of my case but give you some basic facts. This store is NOT a Verizon Wireless store although they have done everything to look and sound like one. They have different policies and offerings than Verizon Wireless including a NO RETURNS policy. They may not tell you that before you purchase, but there may be a sign on a counter with small print that you may want to read. The business is cleverly called 'We R Wireless' which to me, at least, seemed to be a Verizon Wireless slogan, until (too late) I realized it was a separate business! Worse, apparently Verizon Wireless condones their practices, since they clearly have some kind of marketing arrangement going on! I could say other things, but I'll stop here. read more

This store seems to have improved. The customer service was excellent the Thursday I went. I only have two issues. I asked for a Moto7 and didn't realize there were 3 models and the lady didn't explain that to me. It doesn't matter, I would have asked for the model she ordered anyway, so maybe everyone wants the 'power' model. I must say that the battery life is fantastic. Also, she didn't tell me about Verizon's $30 charge for 'getting wet' repair insurance. But I had my receipt emailed to me so didn't see this right off. On the web, I saw this charge is standard and no one likes it. Maybe I will go in and see if I can get it removed. I like that the expensive Verizon accessories weren't pushed on me and she offered to put a screen saver on when I got a cheaper one. read more

Play by play. Sept 9th 2016 - day apple starts taking pre-orders for the iPhone 7. I come into this location and place a pre-order for 2 iPhone 7 Plus 128s. Sept 16th - some people I know who pre-ordered the same day I did start receiving their phones. I call the location to find out if there's a chance mine may come in earlier than anticipated. No-one checks, no effort is made to actually answer my question I was told almost as soon as the question came out of my mouth "when did we tell you the phone was coming in? Call back then" Pretty rude. I was irritated. Sept 29th - 2 people I know who pre-ordered the exact same phone that I ordered on the same day receive their phone. I call again to find out if I can expect my phone earlier. AGAIN, no one actually checked, I just got a knee jerk "Sir, what was the date we told you it would be here, please call back then" Oct 12th- The day I was told my phone would come in, I call. "Your phone was supposed to come in today? ok let me check" after a short hold "Do you have any other numbers that this order may be under?" Give the other number on my account. "Ummm.. Let me give you a call back because we're really busy right now, I'll look into it for you" NEVER get that call back. That night, I call Verizon "There's no order for a phone associated with your account" "Please go back to the store and if they don't give you satisfactory service, call their regional manager" Oct 14th - Go back to the store, and they appear to be very backed up. I let one of them know about my issue while they are tending to another customer they check on my issue and I am basically told "oh well the person who took your order screwed up, what I can do is input your order correctly and get your phones to you by December." I express that thats not acceptable at all and the compromise I'm offered is basically, well we can get you 2 phones in colors you don't want in a size thats more expensive and we can get that to you sooner.. and it's only $5 more a month I'm told..(which pans out to $240 for my 2 phones). No one said, "I'm sorry", no "we'll work something out because we messed up". No-one took responsibility for anything and I was expected me to basically bend over and accept their incompetence. Pay more for 2 phones I didn't want and get them 2 weeks after I was supposed to get the phones that I actually ordered. Just no sense of customer service and at this point I no longer wanted to even have any exchange of money with this establishment so I called Verizon. Verizon was not able to find the information for this location's regional manager but at least they apologized and offered a compromise since I was going to have to order a more expensive phone and receive it a full month after I was supposed to receive the phones I ordered. To be honest, I'm not satisfied with Verizon's offered compromise either, but after a days of mucking through incompetence and buck passing, I just wanted the ordeal to end. read more

The salesperson who sold me my phone told me that if I purchased a particular phone, that as a part of the package, I would recieve a screen protector, case, and charger. However, at the time the didn't have the correct screen protector and case in stock. So they were supposed to call me when they got them in stock (allegedly in the following week). Fast forward 3 months later and after a number of followup calls on my end. Noone ever called me back, and the store manager is now telling me that they will never have any cases in stock because my phone is now "discontinued." read more

Like others have posted DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PLACE! They lie continuously, never respond to calls when promised, and are outright scammers. I even tried calling their corporate headquarters (856-206-0916, 856-206-7273, 215-827-5985, 856-206-0946) and all of the lines seem to be disconnected. Was promised a $75 refund when signing up for service in November 2012. Had to come in multiple times until I was finally given the distict manager. They kept telling me the refund was being promised but by March 2013, there was still no news and surprisingly, there was a new disctrict manager. The whole case had to be started again but I was being reassured they were workign on it. I tried calling their corporate headquarters and but it kept going to a fax machine or the secondary number was disconnected (a place that sells phones has a number disconnected?). I kept calm throughout the process, but calls were not being returned by the disctrict manager. Finally I received a message from him that his phone was 'lost' and was unavailable for some time. Again...this is a wireless dealer! You would think they can get him another phone! He said the chaeck was mailed to me (an outright lie). Finally, by April 2013 I had enough. I told the district manager that it was almost 6 months that this has been promised ot me, when he said to me (although he had already promised the refund) that 'the promotion is no longer'. After banter back and forth between us, he said he will give me $60 and will need to go into the store to pick it up. I went into the location the next day and was given $60 right form the register from the branch manager (Rahul) with no words being exchanged by us. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AWFUL EXPERIENCE, AND AWFUL PLACE!!!! Do not do business with them at all!!! read more

0 Stars. If I thought that reporting the the Better Business Bureau would do something, I would, but alas the BBB is basically worthless so all this place will get is a measly 1-star review. Major disclaimer: I fully realize that I was the stupid one here to fall for all of the things below. But this has been a huge lesson learned for me, and I want to ensure others do not make the same mistakes. I went in just trying to have my Verizon plan adjusted. As my contract is ending in May, I was comparison shopping plans, and I saw on Verizon's site that there was a $60 single-line plan available for 1GB data with unlimited talk+text. I was paying over $85 for 450 minutes + 1000 texts +2 GB data. I never use more than 1GB so I went in trying to downgrade. Strike 1: It is NOT a real Verizon store. I did not realize that until I looked it up the next day and saw these fellow 1 star reviews. My own mistake for not checking first, but again, be warned! I went in, and the manager helped me. When I asked him about the $60/month plan, he pretended like he did not know it existed and immediately told me the best he could do was an $80/month plan. Long story short, he talked me into a "deal" where I would pay for 250 MB data, get a "free" tablet (with a mail in rebate) but also get 1 GB data and also enroll me in the "Edge" program where you pay monthly for the phone (but can upgrade whenever). STRIKE 2: He talked me into the Samsung Galaxy s4. This was on March 30th. He failed to mention that the Galaxy s5 is being released in 10 days. So congrats to this scumbag salesman who unloaded a phone that would be "outdated" in 10 days. He also "forgot" to add in the bottom line that I would have been financing the phone based on its FULL price (aka $700) - MUCH more expensive in the long run and added on insurance without asking me. STRIKE 3: I later log onto MyVerizon and see that there is only 250 MB of data on my plan - much less than what I was promised. Long story short, after lots of buyer's remorse over the next 24 hours, and lots of calls/chats with Verizon support, I'm on the $60/month plan that I originally wanted with a contract end date in May and no extra crap that this dude tried to pass off on me. Oh, but the last STRIKE 4: $50 restocking FEE PER ITEM. So, I PAID THEM $100 to scam me, even after returning everything the next day. Oh, and STRIKE 5: I had to call Verizon support AGAIN after I returned the items because they "forgot" to cancel the plan when I returned the items, even though I explicitly asked them to. If you've made if this far, thanks for listening to my rant - and stay far away from this place. DO NOT make the naive (and very expensive) mistake that I did. So right from the start, their advertisement on their store says verizon wireless....it should say verizon wireless reseller.... Jorge the manger, is unsympathetic!!! . He is all about greed!!....I go in the store to buy a phone...the first thing i ask, is where is the newest phone you have..the rep guides me to a phone that is 5 months-6 months old....and says this is the newest phone....well guess what, they had a phone that just came out the day before, and they never once, told me about it. I happened to find out 3 weeks after i purchased the phone, when my friend happened to tell me, that they came out with a phone that was much better and updated than mine 3 weeks ago. Which happened to be the day before i bought mine. I called and asked if I could get an exception to change my phone for the updated one, since their sales rep, never mentioned it to me. They said no....too bad...I am so upset and disappointed...they are not helpful, and just wanted to get rid of their oldest products. Dont buy from them again. They sold me a 2 year insurance plan making it sound like it will replace the monthly payment that I was already making to verizon. Come home and find out that they charged me $150 for a different insurance and I am still getting charged for the Asurion. They double charged an accessory item. I really don't like to do many negative reviews but I must say that folks should be warned about this place. I took a Galaxy S3 with charging issues in with them to be diagnosed. The guy takes it off to the side to "do a diagnose" then comes back and says the motherboard is fried and I should look into their "great deals" on upgrades. Ok, I'm out of there - scam alert is going off. The next day I take it to a real Verizon corporate store. I just hand it to the tech there and ask him to diagnose it. In 30 seconds we have determined that it is at most a battery issue, but that first we should just start with a charger. He sells me one for $20 and problem solved - the thing is charging right back up. Buyer beware. read more

I can honestly say that in my entire life I have never interacted with a more deceitful, shady and dishonest store. This store should be avoided and should not be considered a Verizon store. Before purchasing anything from this store, be sure to double check prices online and with Verizon Wireless. The first time I purchased an iPhone 5 in 2010, the salesman repeatedly tried to talk me into purchasing a galaxy phone, despite my insistance. He made me feel guilty about my decision. He also sold me an insurance policy and was dishonest about its benefits, claiming it would provide a free replacement if my phone was ever lost, broken or stolen. What he did not mention was that this would require a deductible of $150.00. When my phone broke, the old manager was extremely sketchy as I tried to set up a replacement under my terrible insurance plan. He ended up telling me I could either have a white iPhone 5c that was refurbished and pay him cash and not have a charger, or wait up to three weeks for a replacement. I later made small talk with a former employee who assured me that the old manager was consistently making fraudulent claims, taking advantage of elderly/ignorant customers and was doing "fraudulent/borderline illegal" practices daily. Two weeks ago, my LED screen stopped working entirely. The insurance company that I purchased a (terrible) plan from has since gone out of business. The claim was made on October 24th and I am told that I can expect a phone on November 8th. When I called to request a loaner phone, the associate said they would not offer me one at the time. I explained that it was my not my fault that the insurance company went out of business and he said, "I once went without a phone for a month and I handled it just fine." Unbelievable. read more

The following is the text of an email I sent to We R Wireless about my experience with their Lee Hwy. store. I did not get a response, nor did I expect one. "On 5/10, under Verizon's early upgrade program, I purchased an iPhone 4S at your store at 3129 Lee Highway in Arlington, VA. "On 5/11, I went back to the store to return it. Moe Walters, the sales person who I dealt with 5/10, and the store manager told me that their store does not accept returns of iPhones. Walters suggested that I sell the phone, which I did within a day or two. "In the meantime, I was now under a new two-year contract with Verizon, and charged the $30 upgrade fee. "I then had a series of phone calls with Verizon customer support. During one of them, the rep called the store and was told that the store DOES accept iPhone returns. The store lied to me and then to Verizon. "I told Verizon that I was caught between a store that lies and Verizon's contract requirements. A top-level Verizon rep who I spoke with told me that they were going to investigate the practices of the Arlington store. "I told Verizon that if I was forced into a new two-year contract, I would rather pay the $350 ETF than give Verizon another $2000 or so over the next two years. That is exactly what I'm going to do. Wow, I really wish I had read the comments on this NON VERIZON store before going in to make a purchase. All of the previous comments are beyond accurate. I'm not usually one to write comments but after my experience with this store, i felt it was necessary and the only way to get SOME type of vindication. I was sold a SIM card from this location on 8/8/2013 so that i could use my phone over seas, and less than a day after receiving the card I found from calling the REAL Verizon that the retailer had sold me a 4G SIM card and would not work properly with my phone 3G phone. Upon trying to return what this store sold me with receipt in hand, they refused to give me a refund even after acknowledging what they sold me was incorrect and would NEVER work with my phone. The incompetent manager was very unprofessional and after telling me that I didn't understand "how it works" walked away in the middle of our conversation to go take a smoke break! Everyone passed the blame and the manager concluded that although he was the MANAGER, that he had no authority to give me a refund. Really? What does your manager title mean then? STAY AWAY! 0 stars This non-Verizon store is a complete joke of a business. The lack of customer service is beyond compare. When I first entered the store, I dealt with the store manager, Rahul Alam. Rather than look up to greet me like any normal sales associate would, he kept his eyes down and continued playing on his personal phone. I wound up purchasing a new phone from him against my better judgment because I needed one. A day later, I received a call from Verizon Customer Service who noted that everything Rahul told me about my plan was inaccurate. So I went back to Rahul to clarify the concerns brought to me by Verizon Customer Service. Rahul wouldn't even let me finish my sentences. He was rude and completely condescending. I had to call Verizon Customer Service while in the store, and even the representative there was astounded by the way he was speaking to me. (She could overhear him through the phone.) His own company filed two complaints on him within a two-day period, and I'm filing my own complaint to the district manager. It's unacceptable that this guy has a job. He shouldn't be allowed to work in ANY environment that deals with customer service or sales seeing as how he has no people skills or even the slightest ability to hold a polite conversation.
