Located inside Montgomery Mall at a kiosk just off the main hallway (at the end of the Cheesecake Factory hall main intersection, not the Macy or Nordstrom halls), we were walking by and asked a question about my Verizon account. Tushar was able to access my account, and I gave him permission on my phone to allow him to see it. He was able to look up the information and explain why I could not add an option because it was already enabled without making me feel stupid. He was most respectful and helpful. He explained the current discounts and features and limitations of our plan and the two levels of upgraded plans and how much the bundled perks such as Netflix and Max could be added for $10 a month which would be a good savings off buying those service individually. He explained which phones were eligible for an upgrade, costs, and how much it would be to get an Ultra or Max version. All in all, Tushar, was extremely personable, helpful, and went above and beyond to be helpful even though I was just stopping by to ask a question which had no financial incentive to him. I thought he was much nicer than the Verizon representatives I had worked with at the Verizon store near me before it closed. I was glad to know where he is for our future Verizon needs. I bought a screen protector for over $60. for my new phone they told me it was insured and it cracked the next day. I went back to the Store a few weeks later they said they could not look up my purchase because the person in the store didn't put the charge in the right place on the computer or something. It's a terrible screen protector. I never had one that cracked from plugging my phone in. The people in the store could not help me and when they phoned a manager they couldn't reach one. The person they did reach told them to sell me another terrible screen protector for half price. Putting 90- into a terrible screen protector was not a good option. I told them I wanted to use the insurance, they gave me the website but couldn't produce a copy of my bill. They told me I wouldn't be able to get the insurance and it was their fault but could do nothing about it. So they took my money, told me it was insured and when I tried to use the insurance it didn't exist , there was in fact no insurance. Don't use this store they are a reseller, carry inferior products and don't even try to help with insurance. I threw over 60- out the window by purchasing from them. read more

This is a stand alone kiosk/service desk on the lower level of the Westfields Montgomery mall. You can purchase new phones and accessories or manage various items in your Verizon account. There's also always a good selection of demo models available for review. The various times I've stopped by, the staff here have been great: knowledgeable and pleasant and eager to help. It's a lot more enjoyable than going to any of the dedicated Verizon stores. The only downside is when there's a crowd, there can often be quite a long wait. read more

NEVER COME TO THIS VERIZON LOCATION. Google should take this off as a Verizon location because you will only waste your time with the most useless kiosk in the mall. Just wanted a new phone and got SCAMMED OUT OF MY TIME AND MONEY$$$$!!! I placed an online order pick up for my iPhone 13. When I arrived to the store only to have the manager, Murtaza, casually tell me that the iPhone that I bought was sold to another customer‼Then, I said "Um okay? Can I just get a different color, or whatever you have here bc I need to get back to work." Then it gets EVEN WORSE. Murtaza told me that I cannot purchase a new phone because the new phone (that I could not receive) was still showing up to be linked to my number Then he says CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Like I'm in you're face, you're a manager, i know you have the ability to cut a trouble ticket or call a specific department on your end. I'm walking around the mall pressing numbers and talking to person after person,just to hear call back in a couple days for the phone to be removed. After three weeks the 900 dollars has still not been returned.... Worst part is I probably spent over 15 hours in this wack situation, when I placed in store pick up to save time Why would this location offer in store pick up when the correct itinerary is not in available ??????????? Never was compensated for my time nor received simple apology, customer service fundamentals. I was soo close to switching to T-Mobile but Gavin on Rockville pike was able to keep a customer Don't be representing Verizon, if you don't care about the company's reputation. read more

DON'T FALL FOR THEIR BUNDLE SCAM! We upgraded to the iPhone 14 and they didn't mention that the bundle had to be purchased for an upgrade. They charge $200 for a screen protector, charging block, and phone case. He mentioned that a phone case was included with the phone before we did the data transfer, but nothing about an extra cost. When we came back to the kiosk after the data transfer was done, he said the charge was $283 with sales tax tax included. That's when he mentioned the bundle and said it had to be purchased with an upgrade. At that point, he already put on the screen protector that he didn't mention beforehand and the switch was done. Nothing I could do at that point. I later found out that this is a third party seller and they shouldn't be able to require the purchase of additional accessories with an upgrade. They also charged me for a sim card when the iPhone 14 DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A SIM CARD SLOT! I'm mad at myself for falling for such a stupid scam, don't make the same mistake! read more

I stopped to have my phone fixed; cracked face. They could not do this. They were able to sell me a NEW? discontinued Google Pixel XL 128GB silver. I was not happy with the phone and decided to return it and all other stuff intact Lo and behold, I was 2 days over the allotted two weeks for returns. TWO DAYS; I could not believe it. Here's my current position regarding this situation. I will continue to use my LG phone (which has been fixed) and pay my bill on time as usual. I will not pay for any charges related to the device they sold me(NOT!). If and when Verizon decides to cancel my service for non payment pertaining to this rip-off, so be it. I am going to find an address to ship this phone to. I would only hope that Verizon does the right thing and closes this kiosk. read more

Absolute garbage service at this location. My husband and I went at 12:06 pm (Oct 3, 2021) and waited at the kiosk about about 10 minutes for an employee. The two employees arrived at the same time with coffees in their hands. I don't begrudge someone having a coffee, but it would have been better customer service to go separately and leave someone at the kiosk. We attempted to trade in our iPhone 11's for 13's and silly us, expected someone to assist us. We explained to one of the employees and instead of acknowledging us in any way after we explained what we wanted from him, he cross talked to the other employee's customers who were asking a question. He did not say "excuse me" to us, just cross talked to customers who were being assisted by the other employee. We immediately turned around and left. Why would we buy from this place? They are way more interested in walking around the mall with their coffee than doing what they are paid to do. read more

One of the rudest Verizon retailers I have ever dealt with. This is a franchised location and we apparently spoke to Logan who is the manager...but you would not be able to tell given his behavior and demeanor. They make mistakes and make you feel like you did something wrong. Should have read the reviews before we visited this location. It was convenient to our home. Aside from that, total anarchy. This is the same guy who conned my wife into turning in her old phone - a mint condition iPhone 8 - for a cell phone case worth $30. The actual phone value is at minimum $190. Waste of three trips and several hours of our time for one simple phone sale. In the process of activating the phone, they added insurance to two other family lines, assigned the payments and applied the changes to the wrong line. Because it's a franchised location, other locations can't correct their mistakes. Drive the distance and avoid this place at all cost. If your not taken advantage of, you will certainly feel degraded. Verizon should kick this franchisee out. read more

Beware of this Verizon retailer. Firstly they are not a corporate store, just authorized to sell version products. I bought two phones from them and they omitted extremely important information regarding billing. I walked away with so many extra charges that I didn't know about until I called Verizon the next day. The Verizon customer service representatives were shocked and disgusted by how deceitful these employers at this place were that they made a report. They refused to give me the number of the district manager and told me he would call me instead. I'm still waiting. My advice to you is to find a voltage Verizon store and don't go to this Kiosk at the mall unless you want to lose money. read more

Wow, I have never been treated so poorly before. Avoid this place at all costs. "Jay" lied to my wife about a plan he tried to sell her and then refused to change the plan once she realized it wasnt what he had told her. Took me over 3 hours with Verizon to fix what he had done. They also charged $40 for a SIM card which is free at a verizon corporate store. Just awful. read more

We ordered a Samsung Galaxy S10 on line and came to this store to pick it up! When we went home to set it up we discovered that they had given us a used phone and to make things worse, they lied about it not being used. We tried to return it and we were told they couldn't take it back! Terrible customer service, fraudulent sales transaction and failure to correct! Don't go here!
