I am 52 my husband is 60. We don't knowuch about cell phones. Salesman sold us 2 $750 cell phones, a high tech tablet, and 2 yr plan. Neither one of us know how to use these phones or tablet. It's to complicated for us, now we r stuck with the phones and paying on a plan, we can't use. Never was shown how to use phones or tablet by salesman. He did not explain contract to us, a day later we went to return everything. The store would not allow us to return anything. Saying since it's a 3rd party store, we would have to pay restocking fee's, and a bunch of other fee's, that we not to explained to us, when we bought the phones. Every store has a cancellation window, for returns. After a day, of not being happy with our purchase, the store would not except anything back. In Maryland it is a law, in 3 days you are allowed no matter what, to make a return, and Verizon did not up hold the law. The district manager (M), didn't help us, told us to come back in an hour, like a coward, left out the back door. I am contacting the BBB, and calling the Attorney's General number, and turn Verizon in. BUYER BEWARE. STORE ENJOYS SCAMMING. I dropped my phone off a dock into the river, it was gone for good. In a panic, I drove to the TCC store in Chestertown and the sales person couldn't have been better if he tried. He was calm (which I needed in my panic) and extremely knowledgeable. He concisely explained all the options and walked me through how to retrieve all my information even though I couldn't remember my password. If I could give him a rating of 10 stars I would. My family and I went in to upgrade phones - 5 lines in total - and worked with Jay R. We were told many things and when the bill came, there were multiple charges that we were not made aware of. We were charged twice on two different lines for upgrade fees, we were told the home protection plan was included - it actually is on our bill for $25, we were told the Ipad charge would be $12 - actually $30, and our device promo discount was incorrect. I was able to call Verizon directly to rectify some of these issues but all were not able to be fixed. We trusted Jay R and feel like we were taken advantage of. Very disappointing. read more

Do not not go here. Go to a Verizon corporate store, or another company. I have spent, literally, hours getting the rate plan these folks offered, to be accepted by Verizon, and never got the rebate gift cards they said I would get. In latest interaction, I told the store manager it had gotten hard to get what they offered me, and he said, "Yeah, it's too hard for me too," and left me to deal with Verizon customer service on the phone, for an hour. Bottom line: the kids working in this store are nice enough (that's why two stars) but really don't care and don't have the skills/abilities to deliver on their promises. I want to say first that I have never written a review on any establishment. This is literally my first time. Please, please go over your contract word for word. Ask questions. When the representative says "free" ask what "free" means. Example..... Ask about "Redux water protection." (Additional $30 per item bought.) ask what your total charges will be before you leave the store ask to get something in writing instead of just accepting "you'll get it all in an email. We don't do paper." If you receive an item for "free" (iPad, Apple Watch) please verify how long you have to commit to that product per month, because it is 36 months that you will have to pay monthly charges on that item. If you decide that you want to sell the item (iPad, Apple Watch) before the 36 months is up, you must pay full retail price for the item. Please have them explain everything that they tell you, and if you don't understand it, walk out of the store and call the Verizon company for verification. Yes, the sales representatives are nice. But the sales representatives are there to sell you as much product as they possibly can. They tell you to contact them if you have any questions at all, but if you call to get verification of an exorbitant bill that you have received, the conversation suddenly takes a spiraling downward turn, and you feel as though you are annoying the representative, by simply asking a concerning question . You are told that this was explained to you in the store (when it really was not). If you feel like you have made a mistake and want to return the two items within the 30 day grace period, question it when they tell you it will be $110 per item for restocking fee. (The contract says $75). Please ask how much your future bill will be after paying the exorbitant first months charges for everything else. Just remember before you walk into the store, if it sounds too good to be true, it absolutely is... And you don't get anything for free. I have made a very costly mistake because I got caught up in the moment. This is a true learning experience for me, and one that I will not forget, and never do again. It leaves a very sour taste in your mouth for the Verizon dealerships. The one star is because I could not post a review without clicking on a star. I am just quite upset at myself for allowing myself to be so naïve to think that I was getting a true "deal." read more

This store changed locations (shopping centers). Every time I would go into their old location the employees gave off the vibe that I was interrupting their day. I stopped going. When they opened under new management in the new location I thought I'd give a try. The first time I walked in they had apparently closed but not locked the door. The woman working asked me "What do you want?" I told her I was looking for a replacement cord for my iPhone. She said she would put one up but that I "had better be back there first thing in the morning to pay!" I went in another time, some time later, to ask for the same thing. I was quickly sold a wall charger for $31.00. All I wanted was a cord. I felt like they were trying to get rid of me. I asked about the cord and I was never given a straight answer. Today I have tried calling numerous times and a Verizon Wireless agent called two times while I was on the phone with her - never an answer. It's worth the drive to go elsewhere as far as I'm concerned. VZ has plenty of stuff available on-line. I'll be doing my shopping on-line or at any other store EXCEPT the one in my very own town. read more

My husband got a new phone and he was told if he didn't like it, he could return it, or have my number switched to the new phone and he could go back to his old phone. We went into the store four (4) days after purchase and asked to have the numbers switched and were told we couldn't, it was against Verizon policy. They did put his number back on his old phone (which had been factory reset), but didn't make sure it worked, help him download his contacts, photos or anything. We were basically told to get out. I left the store with the strong urge to cancel all of our accounts. Went to another Verizon wireless store (Chester), where they were able to switch the numbers through My Verizon account. They also made sure everything was backed up, reloaded to the new phones, super helpful, super friendly. read more

I was in town for the holidays, and my phone died. I went into this store to see what was wrong. When asked if I had phone insurance, I said I didn't know (I've had the phone for 18 months and couldn't remember). The girl working looked at my phone for a couple minutes, plugged it into a charger, and when it then wouldn't turn on, told me it died and that because I didn't have insurance there was nothing they could do. Three days later, I went into an actual Verizon Wireless store. Apparently the staff at your store didn't look up my account at all, because the phone was insured so had it been broken, Verizon would have let me send it in to be replaced. Further, only the battery had died. It only took the person working at the actual Verizon store a couple minutes to see that it was swollen, and he then sent me to a battery store where I got a new battery and the phone is working fine. So, the staff at We R Wireless didn't look up my account, didn't bother to look at the battery, and told me that I had no options, when really, I had insurance, just needed a new battery, and could have had the phone replaced if it was broken. I have never dealt with anyone as rude, arrogant, and just an overall bad employee as I did with the guy that was helping me this morning, Daniel. Not only was he rude to me, but he was rude to the several people that came in. His arrogance completely ruined the experience and I will never go to another TCC because of him. Further, because of Daniel, I didn't open an account with Verizon and went with Sprint. Your company lost a customer because of this experience. I would give you no stars if I could. read more

Noon on a Sunday, I walk in and not greeted. There are 6 other people there with one employee on the phone. The store looks empty, the displays are mostly nonfunctional. There's no information for me to read on plans or features on phones. only a few TV advertisements that tell you nothing. My phone was not working and I went in to the tcc retailer and the salesman indicated that he could get it to work but if it happened again I would lose all of my data (not true). He suggested that I buy a new phone. At no time did he indicate it would cost $409.00. Thus, I thought that the money I was asked to pay that day would cover the phone. In addition, he suggested that I buy a HUM as they were running a special and after paying $29.99 there would be no line charges. It turns out that they HUM was available on line for $9.99. When I pointed out this to verizon, they indicated that their store would take the $20.00 off but TCC would not. I was out of town and when I returned, I attempted to return the HUM but I was two days late (I would have been able to return it to a verizon store). In addition TCC charges twice the re shelving fee that a verizon store charges. Finally, I was told they would not mail me the bill for the charges I had paid but would have to come to the store to see the receipt. Obviously, I never want to enter this store again. read more
