Do yourself a favor and go to another Verizon store. Employee's are incompetent here. I've been to this location two times. First time I needed to warranty my phone. I spoke with an associate who informed me that no stores can warranty phones and that I needed to call corporate to get my phone replaced. I informed the employee that I have waranteed my phone plenty of times in the past (11 year customer) and the stores never had a problem replacing my phones within the first year I buy it. Associate kept insisting that even though stores in the past may have done that, no stores no do. Afterabout 15 minutes of arguing with the associate, I just gave up and called corporate. My brother goes in about 2 months later to warranty his phone and they give him a new refurbished phone on the spot.... Second time I came here was about a week ago right after they announced the new unlimited plan. I pretty much made up my mind about switching my husband's line to the new plan and just needed a few clarifications such as how much trade-in value I can get for his LG G4. When asked how much we can get the 128GB Pixel for after turning in the G4,the associate told me that we would only get $45 off the full retail price of the phone. I then had to inform her that if we switched over (from another carrier) to the new unlimited plan and turned in a G4, we could get the 32GB Pixel for $5/month according to their website. She then went to ask her manager about this who confirmed what we said. So I asked her again how much trade-in value I could get for the 128GB Pixel she informed me that they can't do that; that the promotion was just for the 32GB Pixel. I then pulled up the promotion, again, from the Verizon website proving her otherwise (website said to call or go into store for actual values). She then went to the manager again and was told overwise AGAIN. On her way back to us I heard her whisper under her breath that she was off the day before and didn't know about this plan. I'm thinking to myself, that this is the biggest thing to hit Verizon since they took away the unlimited plan years ago. Even if there wasn't a memo sent to all the employees (which is hard for me to believe) I feel that the employee should take it upon themselves to learn about the biggest promotion their store is offering. At this point, I just gave up on opening a new plan at this store and went elsewhere. read more

Went there a week before the year was up on the warranty for my iPad Zagg Rugged cover expired. It had stopped working. The hinge was not moving and it cause the case the break in a corner. The sales person and the store manager would not even try to do anything for me. The product was still under warranty and when I bought it I was promised 'if anything happened before the year, your product would be replaced, no questions asked'. This did NOT happened. read more

My wife and I are "faithfull Verizon" customers since the 90's. Our rep Lynn Nguyen attended to our needs and gave us a lot of fast words and continue to talk us into getting the Hum devices that is free because we are " faithful Verizon" customers and they were running a special for people like us. She was friendly, we admit but it was soon to be found that it was fake. Boy we were surely taken by her friendly "helpful"words! It wasn't free! Not only did she over sell her availability on the lead time of my wife's IPhone 7 coming in, but I was witness to the conversation about getting a sell back on my wife's phone and mine ( I was talked into an iphone) as well. Well when we came to get her phone, there was no sell back because it was within 2 weeks of elgibility for an upgrade which Lynn knew and led us to believe that she could get for my wife. The other part was the lie she used to tell us that the Hum was free. We found out later that we are having to pay $10 a month and while we cancelled our hot spot to save money she used the opportunity to get money back for Verizon by talking us to taking the "free, no cost" Hum. After a long behind the door "pow wow" with her manager, Jorge came out and gave us the lowdown and with Lynn stood there totally denying what she had promised and pretty much lied. We told them to take the Hum out of our car and just took her new phone because it was such a hassle and we don't have that kind of time to mess with businesses like this. This place is a 'JOKE'. They are so unprofessional & irresponsible. I made an online pick-up order & received an email confirmation that the order is ready to pick up. I went there next day & waited about 30 min. They could not find my order. Okay...it could happened if some salesperson accidentally sold reserved phone to someone else. They told me to go back home instead of waiting at store & they will give me a call after they find out what happened.. I waited all day... the next day...Nothing. So I called the store after waiting 32 hours. She who answered my call told me to wait again because the manager is not in. Can they just tell me whether they have the phone or not? If they don't have it, shouldn't they offer to order one? It was for my daughter's X-mas gift. & I paid the certain portion of $$ to reserve the phone.. & here again. I am waiting the phone call from Verizon Wireless manager. This is ridiculous!!! Do not go this place. This place is 'Chaos'! I just went to do a return on something I paid cash. Verizon couldn't give me my cash back because they didn't have any on 12-28 at 11:00AM they asked me to come back later on today to see if any customer had paid with cash so they could give me my cash back. Really???? I would suggest never to buy any accessories at this store. I can't call them to see if they have cash before I waste my time and gas going back to the store because the employees there don't answer the phone. First time posting a review. Run far away from this store. They lied and overcharged to up sale. Told me that the advertised price was just a "manufacture suggested retail and was not worded correctly" Said I had to buy the more expensive bundle. That was all that was available. Salesman Cary or Cory was rude, impatient and insistent that this was the truth. Told me my bill would be one thing and charged me $55.00 more. I found out because the receipt was not sent to my email as promised. Called corporate Verizon and they told me I was overcharged. Went back to store and and though the manager agreed that I was lied to and overcharged he could do little to help. Came in yesterday to get a new phone with a new plan. At first I had been helped by a nice man who was supper accommodating and got me started switching my plan over. Then the manager (girl with light red hair) came in and took over what he had been helping me with because he previously had another customer. At first she scolded him for doing the plan switch wrong (right in front of me) and then started the process all over. Throughout the process she continued to be rude to her coworker who was honestly a really nice guy. She was apologizing for her behavior because she had a "migraine" and told me her life story about how she has always had them. As a customer, it was just very unprofessional to hear this and see the way she was treating her coworker. I wanted to stop the transaction to leave and go somewhere else but I was to far in the process. So in the end she tried to hand the summary off to her coworker who was still with a customer and I asked if she could just finish it instead, which she did not very compliantly. The part of this story I didn't understand was that after all her complaining and she did indeed leave early because of her head ache, she was at my restaurant eating a nice dinner with her husband. Pretty obviously that she was fine and had no 'migraine' what so ever. read more

I DREAD when I have to go here. You always have to wait forever to get help. They are never adequately staffed to get people in and out in a timely fashion. They have staff hanging out around but they can't help you, you have to wait for the "sales associate" or some BS. I can't believe how I was treated when I went to this store a few days ago. I'll tell you why you shouldn't waste your time with this location. I went into the store to buy a new phone with my mom. She decided to buy a Droid to take advantage of the buy one get one free promotion. She gives me her free Droid. Nice phone, but I decide that I want to return it for a better phone that was being released a couple weeks down the line. It's my choice, right? According to the 30 day worry free guarantee that Verizon LOVES to advertise, I should have had no problem returning the phone, no questions asked. Well, that wasn't the case. I go in to return my phone a few days after the initial purchase. I wait for about 20 minutes, then I get paired up with a customer service associate at the counter in the back of the store. Her name was Zeaven (Yes, Heaven with a Z), and she was extremely rude and condescending FROM THE START. I didn't do anything to piss her off. I politely told her that I'd like to return the phone, and that I'd be coming back to buy the one that I wanted in a of couple weeks. She asks for my phone number with her stupid attitude, and grabs my receipts..."ummm it would probably be better if I just look through them" then she sees that I had only had the phone for 3 days, then looks at me like I'm an idiot. "Why don't you want to keep it?" She tells me to keep the phone, and to come into the store exchange it ON THE 30th DAY of my 30 day return window. I explained to her that I just wanted to give the Droid back, activate an old phone that I had, and then buy the new phone later. I just wanted some peace of mind..return the phone as soon as possible to avoid getting screwed over into having to keep it (we all know how things like this happen). She also tells me, "well you KNOW there's a $35 restocking fee, DON'T YOU?" This girl should have been doing janitorial work, NOT customer service. I tell her again that I just want to return the Droid today, and she says, "Okay, fine..do whatever you want" and raises her eyebrows while she looks at her computer screen again. I couldn't believe how she was speaking to me. She finally told me, "well you need to get your old phone so we can get the serial number from it, I can't do the return unless you have another phone with you" using another bitchy tone and went to talk to the salesperson who sold us the phones. I'm sure she was trying to save his sale so his commission numbers weren't affected, but that's the nature of the beast. Returns happen. She should have honored my return, no questions asked. I think it would have been easier for me to just tell her that I didn't like the phone instead of telling her that I'd be buying another one. I'm going to buy my new phone from Best Buy so I don't ever have to step foot in a Verizon store ever again. I have a feeling that Best Buy is their worst enemy because it's a much more pleasant experience, and they don't make you deal with those stupid mail in rebates. Either buy online, order over the phone, or go to Best Buy. I don't think Best Buy employees work on commission, which is obviously better for the consumer. I've been to two stores, and both were good experiences. Interesting how other Verizon Wireless stores have one or two stars on this site. I think Verizon needs to reevaluate how they do business in these retail chains because it was one of the worst consumer experiences that I've ever had. read more

I rarely slander or debase a store/company, however this was just bad. I came to pick up a new phone (that the store itself said they would give to me when I came to pick it up). I enter in, and there is this lady (forgot her name) who is texting as I approach her. Her txt message (which i don't think is professional to do at work) must have been more important, because she seemed like i was bothering her. I waited, and then said "excuse me ma'am" and she responded with a surly "YES!?" I then explained to her my story. She was so annoyed with me, and i felt like she did not want to be there. Wow, i guess that's how to you say "welcome" In any case, she said that she could not find my phone. She asked me for my driver's licensel to look for it. i happened to not have it with me, and so she gave me this look, and then said "Well...then i can't help you". I went back to my house (it was close by) and got my license's and did not want to deal with her. The next guy, was basically clueless. He said he couldnt find it and so he told me to come back next time. I wanted to talk to the manger for the overall experience. The manger said "he understood me" and then found my phone!!! It was in the store. That means, if it was not for the manger, i would have gone back to my house and had to wait for them to tell me that my phone was actually there the whole time. I complained even further to the manger now, saying the laziness and lack of care from the staff was evident with this incident. He said he understood...that was it. WOW...my contracted ended maybe a month ago. I think this might be the reason why I will switch over to AT&T. read more

I have had Verizon for years and I have always had great customer service. I recently went into the Brea store do an upgrade and DAVID CARREON (Sales Rep) assisted me and he was awesome. He was honest, explained which phone would work best for me (since I always have work email to respond too and I am not always in my office), he assisted me with the right accessories for my phone, etc and most of all he explain my entire bill and new phone plan to me, answered all my questions. He was great, I really recommend for everyone to see David, he was polite, professional, and really personable. read more

The worst verizon store I've ever been to. The last time I was here I was here I was trying out the new galaxy s5 and it was connected to a set of speakers blasting crappy music. Well I turned off pandora which silenced the music and the lady ran over and snatched the phone from my hand and turned her music back on. That really made me mad so I left and ordered my phone online. This time when I came in the phone I wanted to try out had no network connection. No, no, no! Absolutely awful experience at this location. The sales agent lied to us, getting us to purchase many things we didn't need, saying that they were "included" or "thrown in." It was worse than buying a car, I kid you not. Avoid these scammers at all costs, go to the Fullerton store instead. Here is a list of things they lied about: 1) insurance claim deductible amount, 2) monthly fee for a "free" hotspot device, 3) "early upgrade fee" was really just an overpriced accessories package, 4) evading questions about total price of a new plan. I came in today for a refund on an accessory and the sales associate convinced me to buy blue tooth speakers with my refund. I came home and find out that they are being sold on the official Verizon website for 50% off. Worst customer service ever!!! My wife and I walked in and stood around for 5 minutes, no greeting by anyone what so ever. I was ready to walk out...then I decided to check to see if there was anyone in the back and did not see anyone, this caught someone's attention and he asked if I had checked in...I told him I didn't know I was supposed to. No greeting, no sign. After checking in, we waited about 30 minutes. Once someone was ready to help us, it was evident that he was not wanting to help us. He had some sort of tablet and I asked if he could pull up our account, he said " no pull it up on yours. It will be easier." Then when asked about trade ins he had me navigate everything on my phone rather than giving me answers to my questions...basically he showed how unnecessary he really is. When asked about teacher discounts he replied it is a long process and made it seem not worth the trouble...I learned nothing from speaking to him, other than that I did not want to work with him or that store again. read more

I've been to this store several times - service is always mediocre - nothing great - you get what you need and I guess that's the point, right? Last time I went in, a girl named Taylor helped me out, and boy... she was the definition of horrible customer service. Completely rude, impatient, and hostile. Yeah, I get it... you don't want to be at work, but there's no need to have that kind of attitude! She rudely answered all my questions, which were just basic questions that I'm sure many other people have asked. This place has gone way downhill since the last time I was there. I was emailed a promotion by Verizon and was hoping to avoid waiting for UPS so I drove down to the store. The only positive was that I was helped (well, not really) right away. I explained to Dora what I was looking for and that I was hoping to take advantage of the two promotions that were emailed to me. I had already confirmed that I could use them together online. She looked at me with a blank stare so I showed her the email. She then said I didn't qualify for the promotion because i wasn't on a high enough data plan. I figured out that she was talking about an extra data promotion that I wasn't even asking about. So, I explain again the two promotions. One was a free memory upgrade for the iPhone and the other was a straight $100 off. Essentially $200 off of the retail price. She still seemed confused and then went to check with her manager. Her manager Arash then told me the monthly payment price, which equated to $100 off. When I inquired further he never said that they could not honor the email offer, he just kept repeating the monthly price, hoping I couldn't do math I suppose. When Dora came back she tried selling me an iPad mini, and kept trying, and trying... I finally had to say I don't need an iPad mini, nor am I going to gift it to someone. I came in for the iPhone. I finally ended up walking out in disgust and ordering the phone from Verizon. As a long time Verizon customer, i have never been treated so poorly. I realize they probably work on commission and had they been courteous and helpful, I probably would have just spent the extra $100, no big deal. First off, Chris has terrible customer service if he isn't going to make a sale off your $$. I work right down the road from Verizon and the company I work for has all employees use Verizon through our company account I am a new employee and wanted to add my number to the company plan under one of the lines that has a different number. Shouldn't have been a big deal as this is not rocket science. All I wanted to do was put my number on the newer iPhone that is active and unused that the company is already paying for. We get all the information needed and me and the president of our company walk in to complete the process. Chris approaches us kindly and introduces himself to us and asks us how he can help. His demeanor changed when he figured out that the time he would spend with us wouldn't end up in a sale and commission for himself. I left my license in the office and was going to go back and get it even though it shouldn't of mattered because I have all the information on my Verizon account. He went to get a piece of paper wrote down a number that we needed to call and was totally unenthused about helping us in the store. To make matters worse, for some odd reason he decided to change the SIM card out of my current phone and switched it with the SIM card in the phone I was trying to put my number in. When we left colleagues of mine told me they had terrible help in the past here once the employees found out that they weren't going to make a sale off them. So we called the number once we were back at the office and several Verizon reps were utterly baffled by Chrises decision to change the SIM cards and usher us out of the store. The reps on the phone were helpful and seemed confused by what had happened at the store. They got us all taken care of, so that was good. Don't go here unless you want to buy something, they will ignore you and try their best to get you out as quick as possible. read more

My of them could have easily frustrated the most patient person. I am her child and I had to take a walk. However, the staff remained helpful and thoughtful.
