I purchased an HTC 10 at the end of January. I've had three phones (used/refurbished) sent to me. I can see why people are switching to T-Moble and AT&T. I depend on my phone service for business. So it's important to have good service with no dropped calls or static on the line. The HTC 10 has over-heated, dropped calls constantly, it randomly calls people, shuts down for no apparent reason, delays texts, touch screen doesn't respond correctly, apps don't work well with this phone, and the list goes on. Can I remind you this is my third phone and they kept telling me they can order another one for me. Same issues each phone. I've replaced several SIM cards. When you talk to customer support they always tell you to wipe your system clean and reboot it. Like resetting it to factory defaults and rebooting it 50x is going to make a difference. I've spent 20+ hours on the phone, 16+ hours at the store... So here's my complaint. Jason (the manager at the time) tells me he'll give me a new phone in the place of this one. All I have to do is pick one out. The only problem, after reading reviews online most of the phones are not that great. So I opt in waiting until either Samsung or HTC comes out with a better phone. So Jason notes my account and tells me that's fine. A month later after the new HTC 11 and Samsung 8 comes out I stop in to see about switching my phone out, I get told that Jason moved to the Apex store (25 minutes up the road). The guy even tells me, even though Jason noted my account that I had to go see him according to the new manager on duty (5/22/2017 @ 8pm). So let me get this straight, I have to inconvenience myself after being inconvenienced by a Verizon phone issues, and I pay $218 per month for two phones... I understand why T-Mobile has quickly become the second largest mobile provider. Just like Alltel, Verizon will become the thing of the past. Give T-Mobile a few more years and I may just switch. Here's the best part... I have to go and see if Jason is working in Apex, they won't call or text him to find out what his schedule is. Great customer service. I think not. The bigger the company, the less they care. So let's see if I get out of there in less than 6hrs. ------------------------- *Update. I did write this in the moment of frustration. However, the salesman at Walnut Street was very polite and I would speak with him again if another issue arises. In my professional opinion, he did the right thing by referring me to Jason because I had a working relationship with him and I walked in a few minutes before 8pm, closing time. What prompted my visit was because while on the phone (Bluetooth) with my son it dropped his call. I was feeling very frustrated with my HTC 10. This is what prompted my late night visit at Verizon after work. I did call Verizon the next day and they were able to reach Jason and found he was working (5/23/2017). I do recommend everyone to see him because he's a straight shooter and encredible manager. He'll tell you upfront whether or not he can help. I can see him going up the corporate ladder pretty quickly. I feel each person that is/was trained underneath him will one day have their opportunity to manage a Verizon store. This issue is not related to the customer service or Verizon but with HTC 10. Whether it's more of a software or hardware issue reflects nothing toward Verizon or their employees. I've been a loyal customer for 20yrs. When you have a bad experience with a phone(HTC 10), it's like having a tooth that needs to be pulled, you just want to throw it away. I guess in a couple of days I'll be switching out my new HTC 10 phone to the new Samsung Galaxy 8. I'm keeping my fingers crossed... read more

From out of town and I went in this store with my mom to get a new phone. When we did we had this guy who was extremely rude. We had to ask for another guy he was so bad. Made me glad I'm with AT&T read more

Verizon has one of the best coverage service out there, but customer service needs to improve a lot! They are friendly and all that but they are super slow, they are ALWAYS short in staff. My third time here and always wait time average is over an hour and half. I came in the morning as soon as they open to avoid this but still!!Over the phone they said they dnt have all the promotions stores have. But when u come here u wait so long that u even want to leave before they assist u. In few words, really bad managing. read more

Ouch! What a poor experience. Don't buy a phone expecting good support with it. They can do a 2min Google search with your issue and call it a professional diagnosis and deny to help you saying its been damaged. The most amazing part is they never even have to look at your phone! Here is the SAD part... the manager will just look you right in the eye when your not happy with the experience your getting from his support staff and let you walk out without saying sorry or asking to help. See Matthew if you want the best customer Service, he is very informed, knowledgeable and will lead u into the right direction, today my wife went there and had an employee named Terrilyn that wanted to sell her items that she already had for that would work with her replacement phone that my wife was told they dont carry anymore, but the same was placed to sell in the store with all the other phones. I then had to go to the manager and advise him of the advertising law and he was able to find 3 phones of the kind we were looking for and stated it would be here by Wednesday. This lady only wanted to sell all kinds of items but very poor customer serivce. The manager was great and again I delt with Matthew earlier this day and he was a professional. read more

NEVER purchase accessories from Verizon stores. Simple ear buds, no frills, had a 2 week return window, and a 30 minute wait for a rep to assist me with the return. Several reps standing around chatting while I wait 30 minutes for one to become available. So not worth it, could have purchased these at Target without the headache. read more

I am currently at the Verizon store on Walnut Street in Cary, NC and the service is substandard. Customers including myself are waiting 30 - 50 minutes just to get someone to assist them . I work full time and my time is just as valuable as this store. NOT happy. read more

I have good and bad experiences here but my recent one was bad. I was treated by one female associate(who I will not name bc I am not feeling hateful today) like I was just so annoying. I just needed help programming my phone and basically said she couldn't help me. When I looked at her in disbelief and asked why, she then(sighing at me and making me very uncomfortable) helped me set it up. SO, obviously she COULD help me she just did not want to be bothered. Bad, rude customer service. I've been a customer for 15 years and was treated like they didn't care about my service at all. Cell phones carriers lock you in with a product they know has issues, then won't help you get out of it without paying an arm and a leg. It sucks. First off, I should say this review is not for a specific store, but for a Verizon Prepaid phone that I just recently purchased and set up for a friend. For $14.88, I purchased a phone from Walmart (LG Revere). For $50 ($53.38 with taxes) I added an unlimited talk, text, and web plan which is good for 30 days. You can set the phone up to store credit card info and auto renew each month, or call in and make a payment. After using the phone for several days, I am completely sold on it. Call/sound quality is excellent...better than my iphone. It is so quiet, at times I have said, "are you there?" because I've thought the call has dropped. The phone has a very simple interface. It doesn't have the full qwerty keyboard, but still would allow for simple texting. Battery life seems very good (better than my iphone). There is no contract. There are also other calling plans available. If someone is looking for a simple phone, I think this one would be hard to beat. read more

I took my son with me tonight to the Cary Verizon store on Walnut Street in Cary, NC to help me pick out a simple basic cell phone. I just wanted a phone that I could see the pictures better and I could make calls and text. My old phone was a flip open cell phone and I was under my sister's plan and have been since 2009. Between my son and the lovely, patient girl that helped us, I think they have chosen a phone to meet my needs. I was helped by Ayodele Balogun in the Cary store and she was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and was very helpful in advising me and my son on the easiest phone for me to use. She spent a lot of time with us and I told the guy in charge of the Cary store tonight how great she was in helping me and my son to make our choice. Ayodele Balogun also helped us to open a new account in my name and remove me from my sister's account. Super employee and hope you can keep her here at the Cary store! read more

can we put zero stars? I was lied to by 2 different people on the myverizon chat and told i could go pick up my new phone in the store, only to get there and have a woman(being generous calling her that) with 2 teeth in her head look at me like I was a crazy person for even assuming so and even though there were notes on the account saying that I was told to come into the store to pick up my upgrade. She then continued to come up with some elaborate plan on how she was going to do so....(wasting another 15 minutes of my 6 hours wasted by verizon that day) to only have her manager tell her that it was not possible. When I asked to speak to the manager I saw him look over then duck into the back room to avoid me, meanwhile shes telling me that he is just going to say the same thing. After frustratingly leaving the store another 10 minutes later I realized his smoke break with 4 other employees out on the side of the building may have been the reason he did not want to talk to me. I then called customer service (agian) and had them tell me everything I was told in the store was wrong but came up with a different explanation than i was earlier told. Spending 3 hours on the chat with customer service reps and 1 hour in store with the worst people possible followed by another 2 hours on the phone with reps telling me everything the person before them told was a lie. I immediately asked how I could possibly leave verizon only to have them throw a total of 11 different fee's coming to a total of $934, I have been with verizon for 12+ years, my monthly bill is $234 and I have never missed a payment. I have 2 of my 4 line's contracts up in march when i can cancel at a reasonable rate and I hope to god I never have to go into this store and deal with these people ever again. read more

Beware before going to this store or to Verizon Wireless for that matter! Walked into store as a current customer. Was sold on a new S6 along with other items. After Holiday's I find that I am not just getting an additional lease but I was billed to my account for the privilege of lowering my payments? After spending time with customer service and with managers in store (1 1/2 hours or more of my time so far!) they all try to justify what they have done and how everything is as they indicated, but that just is NOT SO. So far I have yet to receive what was sold to me in the store along with an apology or attempt to resolve the issue due to my inconvenience. EXCEPTIONALLY UPSET, but they could care less and have so far not corrected my account! Then their offer is to let me pay the full retail price! And of course they do not offer to take back the phone as they did not delivery what was promised. VERY POOR. read more
