I had stopped by this Verizon to cancel my plan because it was not what I discussed with a pervious employee from a different store. I went in and spoke with Justin an he was able to fix my plan an he explained the bill so much better to me then the other guy. I was happy with everything. I just left the store and had to post this right away. I walked in to buy a new Apple 11 or 11 pro outright, but I had not seen either to compare. They explained that I could buy it, they have in stock, but they could not show me one!! What!!! I was then told I could not pay for the full phone and had to do payments but could pay off next month. Again, makes no sense. The salespeople and manager were condescending and rude. I cannot say enough good things about Carlos (as well as Alicia) at the Duarte Verizon store. I went there to turn in my old iPhone and upgrade to the newest model, and was dreading the process due to bad experiences in the past at other Verizon retailers. Out of sheer convenience I went to the Duarte store and was immediately greeted by Carlos who politely assisted me in selecting my new phone, patiently answering all my questions. Because I selected the newest iPhone just released, Carlos placed an order for my new phone, informing me of its estimated arrival date. At the expected time, Carlos promptly contacted me to let me know my new phone was in, and I returned to pick it up and go through the transfer process. When I arrived both Carlos and Alicia were there assisting other customers, but they both immediately acknowledged me when I entered and told me they'd help me as soon as possible. A few minutes later, Alicia located my order and began assisting me with the set up of my new phone, all while answering incoming calls to the store and greeting new customers that came in. As we all know, the set-up and data transfer process can take a while, so I stepped out for a bit and returned when the process was almost done. At this point, Carlos stepped in and quickly finished up the final details of my transaction. I must say, during my visit there was a steady stream of customers coming into the store, and at one point I counted 5 people waiting to be assisted. Carlos and Alicia always greeted each new customer, while professionally conducting their work with their existing customers (Note to Verizon General Mgr: maybe a review of staffing is necessary?). Even at the busiest moments they both were very gracious and professional with each customer, and they also stepped in and helped each other out, making a great team. I learned that while I was there one of them should've taken a lunch break, but due to the constant flow of customers neither of them ever left. Great job, Carlos and Alicia! Very impressed with your work ethic...a rare thing these days! read more

This store is convenient as far as driving distance. However the manager Michael seemed a bit incompetent and easily distracted. I brought my new cell phn into the store for contents transferring. This guy initially acts as if it's a big deal to do, let alone asking for $20. Ok thats not so bad, but what is bad is when you're helping me while I was 1st in line, paying for this transfer service you're also intrigued by another customer blackberry phone to the point I'm seeing that you've lost site of your paid assistance with me. 45 minutes later I'm back to pick up what I'm assuming is a completed transfer service, Not!! I'm still missing apps, I'm told they'll appear. I leave arrive home 90 minutes later no apps, I call the branch Michael tells me to turn off phn reset, in doing so my phone completely shuts down to the point I had to drive back to this location wasted my time & money with a jacked up attitude. read more

Came in here on Friday to pick up my iPhone X. Justin is fantastic. Great guy and great customer service. I had horrible service at another Verizon Authorized store and Justin made everything right. There were so many issues with horrible customer service and policies, but I'll try to sum it up: I wanted a simple flip phone with no increase in service for my grandfather. After declining the many tries they made to get us to upgrade, we managed to find a plan and phone that wouldn't cost any more. Here are all the ways this store and its employees went wrong: - I asked if they could transfer the data. Stephanie said yes, and walked away with the phone. Upon completion, she said it would be $50. The employee should inform customers BEFORE providing a service if there is a fee! - I said we would not pay the fee. The manager, Jonathan, then said that they can't waive the fee, but once we get the first bill there is a $40 upgrade fee, and we can take that into a store and have them waive it. I said no, unacceptable. Finally the manager acquiesced and waived the fee even though he "couldn't" the first time. - The reps should also inform you of all the charges up front. We weren't upgrading anything but still will have an upgrade fee? Ridiculous! - We told Stephanie my grandfather lives in New York. Never did they say that returns and exchanges can only be done in this third party vendor store. This seems like critical information that a salesperson who tell a customer who is from out of town! - The next day, we learned the battery doesn't hold its charge. We returned to the store and Stephanie said they can't replace the battery at this store, and there they can exchange it, but for a $35 restocking fee. How ludicrous! They sold us a lemon and want a restocking fee? The manager was off that day so we had to come back the next day because there was no way I was paying a restocking fee on a phone that doesn't work. - We return the next day, and they are able to put a new battery in. Clearly no one there knows their own policies. Sadly that didn't fix it. - So we go back the next day and want to just return the phone. That's when we learn you have to have the box, even for a defective phone. I say this policy is ridiculous and ask for a waiver, and the manager Jonathan rolled his eyes at me! But we rush home and literally dumpster dive at the apartment building, and no box. So back to the store, and we ask to speak the manager of the manager, and he refuses! This was staff was rude, incompetent, uninformative, unprofessional, and just out to make a sale. My whole family will be switching from Verizon and telling everyone to stay away from Wireless Plus! read more

Arrived at this location at 5 pm on Sunday February 17th. The door was locked with no note to explain why it was closed. Many customers arrived and were wondering why it was closed. I waited an hour and noticed the door was open at 6 pm. I went in and told the employee I wanted to return an item. He said "I cannot help you I am eating dinner". I told him the door was locked for an hour and now your eating dinner. He said "can't you see I am eating" SO RUDE. On top of it all he said he was a new manager. I called Verizon on the phone and they couldn't believe how I was treated. I would never buy or go to this location again as they are very unprofessional. read more

I have been a VZW customer for 20 years and have never received such horrible customer service in my life. The associates use deceptive selling practices just to make the sale and get the commission. When trying to get clarity and my situation resolved I got the run around for three months; finally when associate Marina decided to help, she was rude and incapable of handling the situation. Needless to say I had to go through corporate to have the issue resolved. I will definitely tell everyone I come across to not do business with this "authorized dealer". read more

Worked with Aydeth on the BOGO deal for the new iPhone XRs. Ported lines over from ATT within seconds, setup my profile, provided details on the products and answered some billing questions. Hands down the best customer service I have received in a while. I'd also like to mention Jonathan the store manager helped me get everything in order while working through all the follow up questions regarding billing. I used to have T-Mobile and then I switched to Verizon. I was very iffy about it at first but I'm so happy I did ! The inside of the store was clean and everything seemed to be in place. There was great music playing at a perfect volume and it just brightened up my mood. I was helped by a loved associate named Mariana. She was a life saver. She explained everything to me step by step and helped me switch over from t mobile to Verizon. She even set up my brand new I phone for me as well. I ran into some difficulty regarding some charges on my Verizon bill. Manuel Lemus provided excellent service. He was so very helpful. I went in to resolve one issue. He pointed out three other areas relating to my instruments. For each one there was a resolution much better than I could have anticipated. I have been a verizon customer for 16 years and I never received such a horrible customer service from a "manager" . We went to add unlimited in all 4 lines and the manger Zachary Vazquez offer us a "free" pre-owned tablet with the plan . When I check my bill online "surprise " the used tabled wasn't free we have a payment plan for $300. When we come back 2 return it he got mad saying he have 2 charge us stocking fee of $70 and if we didn't like the service to don't come and go another store .When I ask why he didn't let us know before he say he is not obligated 2 let us know we suppose 2 read the flyer in store ! How I am I suppose 2 know that is not his job 2 let us know ? I think being a loyal customer for so manny years and paying almost $500 each month they should give a training to the managers how to treat customers ! Don't they suppose 2 be the leaders for the other employees ? I do not recommend this store to nobody ! read more

Come here!!!!! I swear, I went to another Verizon and the bill came out to more than I anticipated. After reviewing the bill, I chose to stop at this location. I spoke to Zachery, and he helped me save atleast $100!!!! He told me that the other Verizon retailer charged me for was unnecessary. Before closing, he suggested I drive to the other store and explain how I should be refunded. Through much explanation of my issues with the bill - I was immediately refunded. Thanks to Zachery, I didn't have to pay more than I should! read more

This store number one is not a factory store and they don't disclose that to you and number 2 read your return policy 15 days and they don't deviate even when their product is defective. I received the worst customer service from them with the employee having attitude. I would never recommend a non factory store it's fraud in my opinion. Please advise everyone. read more
