I don't get all the bad reviews on this place. I went in there about a month ago to get my new phone. they have electronic check in so we started using that. The staff still greeted me and even helped us check in. I already knew the phone I wanted and they hooked it up, put a screen protector on and even looked up our account to see if we could save any money on our phone bill. Ended up saving us 12 or 13 bucks overall by changing our data plan because they saw we never came close to using all of our data. Overall great customer service, clean and state of the art facility. read more

The first few times I went there I was met with really rude employees but since my last visit I probably will be going back there. The workers there were far nicer than the last time I went in and they were able to help me out and get me my new device quickly read more

I went to this location because it is literally only 5 min away from my house, I went to turn on my old Verizon phone with their pre paid service, I waited about 15 mins which was not bad because it was a little busy. But it was a irritating to see about 5 of their employees just standing around joking with each other. I was helped by a guy, I don't remember his name but he was very helpful and kind (this review is not towards him at all). I left the store very happy but was bothered that they charge a $35 activation fee for pre paid service. I was looking on their website today and seen that it says for their prepaid service there is no charge for activation. I was thrown back by this. So I called the store I went to and questioned them about this, and all he said was "oh that's online not in store." I don't understand why Verizon would only make this an online offer only, I feel like I have been cheated by this. $35 for an activation fee on pre paid is bizarre. I can see if I was getting a new line with them but for pre paid? Come on this is soooo ridiculous. I think Verizon really needs to look into this and change a few things. Just saying. I only gave this store 2 stars because of the activation fee and employees just standing around. I give the employee that helped me 5 STARS, because he did provide good customer service. read more

So I had originally went to the one in San Bernardino but their attitude was horrible! However I went to this one & they were nice however they tried taking me for an idiot. They charged me for a stupid activation fee when I myself had to set it up. I went to take in 4 of my phones since I wanted a new carrier however I gave him my account #'s & pins yet he typed them in wrong so after I had gotten home I myself had to do it. Not only that he signed me up for this hum service for my car since it'd make my plan "cheaper" Sike it actually added more into my balance. Very unhappy then when I also checked my bill I still had to call back to get a refund on an activation fee since they didn't take off. It was such a damn hassle to fix everything! Along with the apparent "activation fee" he showed me a paper with my bill which I still have as proof saying it was 30$ but when the bill came up it was 40$!!! With another issue since I had chosen the plan for 4 phones I wanted to mix & match my plan but he told me I couldn't do that. However when I went on the Verizon app myself I was able to select different plans for each phone, very unhappy with how I was treated having to go back & forward with customer service. He also mentioned I couldn't get the Apple Music with my plans for the free 6 months but yet again damn lies I went onto the app & yes! I was eligible for the free Apple Music. What had pissed me off the most is that he didn't really set up my phones but yet I was charged 130$ dollars for him to only mess up with it. I would never recommend anyone to come here since they'll great you with a smile but try to pocket you for the most out of your own money, if I could give 0 stars I definitely would! read more

It is not often that I write a review... However, I feel in this case good customer service deserves to be recognized exactly for what it is... My wife and I were looking for a tablet and arrived on a choice we made that suited our budget, tech needs. We were in Fontana on business and went into this Verizon store. The tablet I bought had some how came with the wrong charger and I called the Manager of the store "Mike". Since I live in Menifee, he told me he could just send me the the correct rapid charger, with a prepaid return label. Then I could send the wrong charger back, that had come with the tablet. I went in to get help with my phone and the staff just stood around and talked, then just tried to charge my phone and said to go eat or get a drink and went back to his friends. Came back like 15 minutes later and told me to just take it home and do it there. Did not try to help when asked questions, he just wanted to go back and talk with his buddies. If there is zero star rating , I would give zero rating!!! I am super UPSET, I regret being loyal customer many years ! I only had My IPhone5 for few month & all a studden it stop working . No damage what so ever!!! I took it to this verizon store. One of verizon agent took my phone to his office and came back after few minutes and said no problem you will get a replacement new iPhone5 in 1 week. And I paid the shipping fee at store. After few days, I recieved "like new" IPhone5 & returned the original Iphone and all was good . Then I got an outrageous email from Verizon . first I thought it is scam email. But it was for real! Verizon email says that I HAD TO PAY $299.00 and my original device will not be returned!!!! They claim the damage to my original device is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. This is absurd , totally unacceptable! I called Verizon customer service many times , finally after getting many conflicting responses I was told to go the store where I get my phone evaluated throughly .this week I visited the Verizon store in Fontana . The female Verizon employee ( I think her name was Melissa ) gave us bad attitude from very beginning and really bad customer service . Respectfully , I requested to see her manager . She continue to argue by saying " the manager won't tell you any different answer" . I said if a customer requested manager you need to get your manager. she roll her eyes , got us her manager. At one point, she made a gesture that my complaint is non sense " bla bla " sign with her finger while gossiping with the othe agent. I don't know what her problem atleast respect your manager. The manager is new , nice guy but unable to,solve the problem. My argument was simple.. I brought my phone here, you guys check it out, & was told I will get new phone . NOW Verizon changed their mind ... you are telling me I have to pay 299.00 + TAX ( no shame , tax for what ? Even Manager agrees I shouldn't be taxed) + shipping fee? . This is highway robbery!! And Verizon refuse to return my original device . Basically , basically verizon is telling me I HAVE NO RIGHTS! What ever the problem with my phone, i should be given a chance to decide as a customer!! If there is damage to my phone AND it is not covered by the warranty ... Then I should be able to decide whether to pay 299 or get my phone back !! That's is my right !! Why doese Verizon to get decide for me without my consent !! This is illegal !! I had the worse experience EVER at this Verizon corporate store. It started off badly when while waiting 30 minutes for an available customer service rep to help us, I had to ask to use the restroom. I asked the first rep I saw who according to his name tag was Michael , who very rudely told me to go across the street. He shot me a dirty look. Another 30 minutes later, turned out Mr. Nice aka Michael, was assigned to me and my husband. I thought to ask for another rep but was afraid of being thought of as a racist and also would of had to wait longer than the near hour we had already waited. So reluctantly we started the conversation with Michael to upgrade my cell phone. He was extremely impatient with us and was constantly changing various prices for services to the point where he very arrogantly announced to us that he will not sell us a phone unless we understood everything all the while rolling his eyes sarcastically. My husband pointed out to him his math errors and not even then did he back down. We asked for a manager at that point. 10 mins. later, no manager appeared, Michael said she was too busy. We were stuck with this moron. Due to the time we had already invested with Michael, we had no other choice than to complete the process though him, we bought the upgrade cell ph. Here is the heartbreaker: Michael assured us that all my photos, videos and contacts would be saved and that all we had to do was take our new cell home to open all the apps I had. WRONG! All my photos prior to May 26,2016 were completely lost. Videos and pictures of my daughters wedding, family pictures, pictures of my father, work related pictures and videos, and most of my contacts , all gone. My husband called Apple, who after looking into the situation admitted that Michael did not do what he was suppose to do in order to save what I wanted saved. The Apple people were shocked that an employee of a corporate Verizon would have screwed up so spectacularly . I called N. Fontana Verizon and spoke to a manager . All she could say was "sorry, some people make mistakes " and " you should have saved everything to the cloud". She asked why we didn't ask for a manager's help while at the store. When I told her that in fact we HAD ASKED FOR A MANAGER and that no one came to us except Michael, she then said that she herself had asked us if we needed help which was just plain bullshit ( then why did she ask if we asked for a manager??) I was crying and begging her to please help retrieve my pictures, videos and contacts. She said "sorry it's impossible ". I demanded to speak to a regional manager . She assured me someone by the name of Thomas Saldon ( not sure of spelling) will call me on 7/28/2016. As if 8/3, no one called. They blew me off. This isn't done here. I'm not sure what I could do at this point but I'm going to pursue this and they make up to me for what was lost. read more

I want to send Nedra with your customer service a compliment. Nedra went above and beyond to resolve my issue. After going to this store and having an employee not give me excellent customer service and then have his friend pretend to be the manager I had the luck to get Nedra when I called customer service. In my head I was thinking do I want to switch back to T-Mobile or go to at&t but after the excellent beyond superb customer service, understanding, compassion and commitment to representing her company my decision to stay with Verizon has been restored. Had the worse experience with this Verizon store and Manager. They are not Customer Service oriented. A couple of days ago tech support told my husband to go to the store for the problem we were having with our phone. The sales person did a few things with the phone, then called tech. Support & gave me the phone, to answer some questions. She wanted to talk to the sales person but he was busy with someone else. My husband got the manger & the manager was a jerk. He said it was a tech problem & was not going to get his sales person to help us. A few minutes later , as we left he was outside smoking & on the phone for a personal call. He also had lied to my husband, stating that the Tech support was not a division of Verizon at all. We found out later, that it was not true. This was about the 4-5 time since this store opened that we have had problems there. We will NEVER walk in that store, again. No customer service. read more

We've been going to this store since it opened several years. It is a large store with large inventory. Apparently the corporate owned stores have forgotten about customer service. Twice in the past year we have left the store dissatisfied. The first time, we were there to buy a new phone. A female employee stopped us at the front door. She wanted our info to look up our account. After we did this she informed us that we weren't eligible for an upgrade and the only way we could proceed to a representative was if we were going to pay full price. We knew this was false, but she insisted. We became frustrated and went to another store. Got the phone we were looking for on our upgrade. No issues whatsoever. Today, we purchased a charger at a Verizon store. Turned out it was the wrong one. They didn't have the one we needed. They told us we could exchange it at this store. We went in, with item and receipt, and was told that they would not help us regarding an item purchased at another store. Needless to say, we won't be going there anymore. It seems we get much better service at the independent authorized stores. read more

The service was terrible. The manager Chris was unequipped with the skill set to handle a problem that was created by Verizon. Instead of thinking outside the box and providing a little extra customer service he decided to act very unprofessional. I had to call the 800 number and have a representative call the store and he still continued to give me a hard time. I expected so much more from Verizon. I've been going to this store since it opened. We have gotten almost all of our upgrades from there. Sales reps were always so helpful and understanding and very nice. In the last year I am saddened to see their service go down, their reps are almost all new faces. It's become all about selling and commissions. Yesterday, I went in there to activate a phone from one account to another which I have done on more than one occasion only to be greeted by a sales rep named Thomas and some other rep (which by the way, check your facial expressions with customers, too bad I didn't see your name tag), to be told they wouldn't do it because I used a promo. He didn't bother checking me in to speak with a rep. Even after I told him that customer service directed me to the store to do it. I called Verizon again to verify and they said I could do it and then went to another Verizon store and within 15 minutes it was done. Needless to say I won't be going back there again. read more

I was immediately greeted as I walked in the door and was provided with assistance in less than 5 minutes. Taylor was the associate that helped me on my last 2 visits. Taylor is fast and efficient and got all my data transfered to my new phone with no issues. This is by far my favorite Verizon location and will have my business for years to come. read more

Would not ever recommend this store. Salesman lied to me and my husband about a phone. When I tried to talk to manager he was not even willing to listen and discuss situation. Manager said he is willing to let me leave upset and tell others than to discuss situation. He kept contradicting himself which I think when he realized got upset with me..go figure. Taylor helped my wife and I convert from the Samsung Galaxy S4 to the new S7 Edge today. I would describe myself as someone that generally detests having to go into a phone store for any reason and only do so when the equipment wears out or is obsolete. If you are over 50 years of age most sales reps act as if your an idiot when it comes to technology. I appreciated the fact that Taylor was able to answer direct questions I had about the phones and my account with straight forward no bullshit answers. It was actually refreshing to meet a younger person with intelligence capable of listening to the questions I had and giving accurate answers in response. We were in and out in about an hour with both phones set up to our desires and everything transferred and in working order when we left. Ask for Taylor if you want service. read more

Do not deal with Michael. He did not complete backup on my wife's phone even when I told him how important texts and pictures were. He did not do his job he turned backup off too soon. Lost all texts and family photos forever as they took old phone and wiped clean. Sorry I had to give at least one star didn't deserve even that. read more

Costumer service used to be great at this store now it does not seem as if they care. I have been going to this location since 2005 and always received top notch service however last week we took my wife's phone back because the sales person did not put the screen protector on correctly. The protector a Zagg Invisible Shield was put on crooked and was coming off within 30 minutes of being put on the phone. The manager (Albert ) was very rude because we did not accept a very sloppy job done by one of his sales rep's. He told us it was just a cutesy for them to do it and not required for them to put it on and if we did not like the way it was put on take the phone to Victoria Gardens and have an expert do it. If he had been polite this would not be as big an issue even though we were promised by the sales person they would put the screen protector on when we bought the new phone. They have lost a 10 year costumer over a screen protector. read more

Very warm greeting when we walked into the store. We worked first with Veronica. She showed us the phones and was very helpful. When she went back to the counter she passed the sale to Vince. Vince seemed to be a decent salesman at first; however, when we had questions he got quite irritated. My nephew was showing me some features on his own Droid while Vince was processing the sale. My nephew walked to look at the phones, when I asked Vince about transferring the photos he quickly mentioned something about a memory card and said that he (my nephew) could show me how to do it. When I told my nephew they couldn't transfer pictures, he asked Vince why he couldn't do the following. Vince showed much disinterest that we even asked. His response was worse. He gave us some excuse about training computers in the front and a transfer laptop in the back, and that if we wanted to transfer them we had to do it our selves. Not once did he make eye contact, ask informal questions, nor assist in any decision making. Not to mention my nephew had to set up my email while he was running around in the back room doing who knows what. When he finally came out, he just stared blankly out the front window. My nephew had to ask if I had any questions that the Vince could answer. When I said, "Well not really," Vince said, "So is that all?" Still no eye contact, and heavy sighing. I said yes, he pushed the bag across the counter and said, "Thanks for coming in," and walked away. I expect better service, especially since I am new to the whole smart phone idea, and have never had anything with internet. I called customer service and asked if I can return some accessories that I got on line at a local store. They told me yes that would not be a problem and even called the store to ask and they said yes. I walked in the store and the manager was at the door. I told him that I needed to return some accessories that I purchased over the phone. He said I could not do that. I told him that I just talked with Verizon over the phone and they even called the store. He said he never received a call with out even asking anyone else if they received this phone call. At this point I would think he would ask around or call customer service. He told me "you see the order number there, I can not do anything with it, I have a different inventory." He was very arrogant and I told him if I get them on the phone will you talk with customer service? He said no they have to call him. I told him if I put them on speak phone and he said no they have to call him. So I got Verizon on the phone. They told me there should be no problem returning the stuff. The rep said she would call the manager. As I was on the phone with Verizon the manager went to the back so that I did not hear his conversation with the Verizon customer service. Sure enough when the rep came back on the line she told me apparently they were having "issues returning things on the west coast" and that I could come back and it might work. I told her I wanted him to tell it to me in my face. So I told the rep in the store to get the manager. He came out and he was very defensive. I told him why did he not tell me that in the first place and why did he lie to me. He said that I walked away before he can tell me that. Then he went on and said I made to rude comments about him. If the truth is rude then he is doing something wrong. I made sure I did not curse or degrade him when I talked to the rep on the phone. I did say he was being very mean and not wanting to help me. As I had this conversation I had the Verizon customer service rep on the phone on speaker so she heard the whole conversation. I told the rep I think he was lying to her about the issues. He did not want to admit to me he was telling me a lie or telling me something he did not know. He was a young guy that had a power trip or something. I am within my 14 day cancelation window with out paying for a cancelation fee. I am seriously thinking of returning my two phones and cutting off my Verizon fios because I do not want to give my money to a company that has managers working for them like this. The managers name is Albert. I am going to send my review to as many people at Verizon as I can so that the store gets a new manager that can straighten out that store. Verizon will lose a LOT of customers if they have to deal with Albert. read more
