This store is the worst verizon store I had the misfortune of dealing with for it's absolutely poor customer service and changing the terms of a sale that was given in writing by the sales associate I dealt with followed by a totally inconsiderate and pathetic store manager. Last year during Thanksgiving, i went by the store 2 days before the black Friday sale to explore options of switching network to VZ. I was told of a deal to switch and get new phones with $400 off on the day of black Friday sale. I decided to take the connections the same day as I was told I could come back to get the discount on day of and best the long lines. I was also promised to waive the fees charged to setup with managers approval. When I went back on black Friday, the sales associate went back on things he wrote on paper. He never mentioned anything about my old phone trade ins when I took the connection and that he could not give any discounts if I would not trade in my old phone's. I decided to take this to the store manager who kept me waiting for hours after the associate informed him of an issue with a sale made to a new customer with 4 lines. Finally after all talks when he also showed no consideration for what was documented, I decided to cancel the purchase. The store charged me $150 before refunding my initial payment for their troubles and leaving me to deal with the loss on money and connection to restore it back to my old carrier. Go to this if you want to go thru a painful experience. Otherwise deal directly with VZ direct store or Costco. I had not read their reviews before visiting. Now I know why they are at a 2.5 stars, which in my opinion should be a 1 star if the priority of the store is to maximize on their profits without consideration for customer satisfaction. read more

Had an awful experience today, Frederick the new manager at Fremont was very disrespectful. I came in to convert my lines from personal to a business account and was working with Diego, who in fact had great customer service and definitely went the extra mile for us. As far as Frederick, he had asked my brother to step outside while Diego was working on the account, what he didn't know was that my brother was going to be the new account holder because he was the one with the business. He didn't even give us a chance to explain what was going on, he automatically had an angry tone with us and told us that in the store it was only one guest per representative. I respect what's going on in the world and I'm totally for social distancing so we spread apart 6 feet and let him know that we're converting our consumer account to a business account. He said "It doesn't matter sir, I need you guys to step out" only one guest per rep. I would never speak to my customers the way he was speaking to us. I've been a Verizon customer for many years and haven't had an experience like this ever. Stay away from Victra Verizon, which is a third-party retailer. Consider going to to a Verizon store instead. This store is dishonest. I worked with Steven N and he appears to be a nice guy, smart, personable, but practically a scammer, it's easier to pick up on tricks from car dealers than Steven N because he's so smart and tricky. He talks fast (which generally isn't a problem for me), I was there with my dad to upgrade two iPhones and one iPad with cellular capability. I was asked to sign a receipt for "taxes" on those purchases, and before I signed, I asked for a breakdown of the taxes. I was told "[I'll] get a receipt emailed [to me] after I sign." I signed. I was asked to sign two more times, and each time I asked for the breakdown, I was told "[I'll] get a receipt emailed [to me] after I sign." It wasn't until I got home that I saw that I got charged $59.97, for "set up and go" charges $19.99 x3 for each of the devices, which are non refundable. (this "set up and go" Fee is unique to Victra Verizon the third party retailer; Verizon store don't charge this fee; also, after paying the "set up and go fee," there is a separate activation fee that Verizon the company charges.) I went in the next day, spoke with Steven N and his manager Tyler, asking for a complete refund (I was willing to absorb the $35 x3 restock fee and switch to T mobile, because the cost savings of T mobile over Verizon over 24 months is greater than $115) who explained that the "set up and go" charges are non refundable. So apparently those three times I signed, I probably signed to acknowledge that I was being changed $19.99 x3 which is non refundable. Steven N said that he didn't say just "taxes," he said "set up fees and taxes," but apparently so fast that neither my dad nor I heard it. So Steven N apologized for the miscommunication, and he and his manager offered to give me store credit for free iPhone cases (which I declined). I initially believed him, but on the way home, I realized that he intentionally omitted to tell me about the set up-fee: if he mentioned it, he certainly didn't mention the amount or that it's non refundable. I called Victra Verizon corporate (which on their webpages advertises their core values of transparency and customer service), but the line doesn't work. I submitted one complaint online requesting refund of $59.97 providing my email and cell, but no one replied or called. I submitted another complaint a few days later, no response. I called my credit card company who disputed with the merchant (Victra Verizon), but the merchant argued that I had no evidence to back up my story, so my credit card company couldn't get the $59.97 back from the merchant. Thankfully, my credit card company said they believed my story so will still give me the $59.97 back. Moral of the story: 1) don't go to Victra Verizon, especially the one in Fremont on Argonaut. The staff there are nice, smart, friendly, but that's what makes them great scammers; 2) never sign on a credit card pad without first seeing the breakdown; if the merchant is dishonest, you may be signing in writing for something different from what the merchant verbally tells you Update on 7-1-2020 (negative): I received a courteous apology from the Victra Verizon business owner on yelp, and was provided a number to call (800-279-3550) to further share my comments with the company. That number doesn't work. I had previously called that number on Friday late morning 6/26, Monday late morning 6/29, and then today 7/1/2020 in the afternoon. The number doesn't work. This further reinforces the point that Victra Verizon publicly portrays itself as transparent and customer-friendly, but really is deceptive and is just out there to make a profit at the customer's expense, without providing real service. read more

Many problems. first of all this is NOT a Verizon store. It is a retailer that carries Verizon products. they SOLD me a SIM card for 10 dollars. ( Verizon Corporate Stores give them away). The SIM card sold to me was 1) DEFECTIVE 2) did not match The number on the card to which it was TAPED. 3) THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND FOR THE DEFECTIVE INCORRECT SIM CARD. Rudeness permeates this store from the lowest untrained employee to the manager in charge at the time. When I bought the phone, the saleswoman named Neda said there was a promotion for a 100% free tablet to be included with my plan. "100% free?" I said and she assured me that there would be no charges at all going forward. There are monthly charges on my account for this tablet!!! This place is in total chaos. We went there to pre-order the 6+. First they couldn't log on to our account because they kept entering our PIN number wrong. Then they couldn't process our credit card and had to swipe the card like 7 or 8 times. A couple of hours later we got an email from Verizon saying that the order had been cancelled. WTF?! So we called them and they couldn't tell us why or who cancelled the order. We got really fed up and went back to get a refund, which also took a long time for them to process. So we went to Costco instead. You will get a much better deal (i.e., cheaper price), plus you don't have to pay anything for pre-orders. The best part is that the salespersons at Costco are total professionals, not like these jokers at JW Clueless. read more

Premium retailer my ass. Avoid this place. I came by to pay off a bill that was a partial bill for 3.02 to close my account. They told me since they were not an authorized dealer they would have to charge me 3.00 extra. I'm paying off a 3.02 bill. Take off the verizon name of you can't do what a authorized dealer can. Awful. Impossible to deal with customer service, which I tried before leaving this review. Just as shady as the employees in the store. Here goes: The Jetpack device I purchased at your store in 1/9/18 was not showing my data usage for a week or so. It said "data usage not available." I am on a prepaid plan. I brought the device into the store on April 27. I was first met with the accusation by the female employee that I didn't purchase it there, anyway. (Should that make a difference?) I produced paperwork to the contrary. I asked if she would apologize. She said she had nothing to apologize for. Wow. Other male reps (Jody and Zaid) said I was low on data after they looked up the account online. They said it might show my data when I purchased more. I purchased more data. They put in a new SIM card. The "data not available" message was still there. Zaid said there was nothing they could do. I said I need to leave there with a device that works. Zaid had no suggestion of a solution. I had no option but to purchase a new device. This is a ridiculous solution to the problem. Later, I called Verizon customer support. They said I should have called them before I bought another, before I left the store. Why didn't the reps call Verizon and try to get it resolved? This is just wrong. read more

(totally false, per a Verizon call) Right after getting out of this store I Called Verizon directly, got them over the phone, and picked them up at an actual Verizon Store 30 minutes later. My wife and I arrived as the first customers of the day. We needed to upgrade a pair of phones. We were met by a young man named Sobi. This guy was as good as it gets. As a matter of fact he was incredible. He helped us with every phase of the transaction, from setting up the phone and explaining each and every charge. He left out nothing. He attached the screen protectors, walked us through the transfer of data and had the kind of patience I'd never seen before. Customers came in after us but we were never hurried and he was the only employee there, though I couldn't figure out why. I felt the pressure more than he did. I've read other reviews that said this place has wonderful employees. I believe it because I met one today. read more

I went into this premium Verizon store looking to purchase a new phone. Richard was the associate who assisted me during my visit. I was extremely pleased with the customer service I received. I felt that all of my questions were answered. Also I feel that Richard took care in assisting me pick the best phone for my needs as well as getting me into the perfect plan for me. I thought it was extremely good customer service when Richard let me in on all of the deals, bundles, and discounts available to me. Loving my iPhone X, but highly disappointed with the customer service. I myself have always been told never to go to an authorized retailer of Verizon and have thought so based on bad experiences I've heard from others. Unfortunately, a family member told me to go to the Verizon store on Argonaut. Thinking it was not an authorized retailer, I drove down and walked in and was assisted by the store manager Justin. He got me situated and was really straightforward about my transaction. I was fine with the $19.99 service fee given the convenience at the time. Everything went well, until I realized I had three duplicate transaction for one of my transactions. At this point, I figured this could be easily resolved via reversal transactions. I called the store and explained to an employee how I was accidentally triple charged, and they said they would take a note/message and let their manager know. Called again the next day to ensure the message was delivered and I got the same response: "okay, I'll let the manager know." A couple days passed and I received no callbacks from the store/store manager. Meanwhile, the account I was triple charged on went negative due to the triple transactions and I experience 8+ overdraft fees due to said transactions. For the last week or so I have had no method of payment which is the most frustrating and debilitating. There is a lack of urgency on their part, which is the most disappointing because I am reasonable, almost too reasonable, when it comes to these types of experience. read more

My wife had a real challenge using her Apple Iphone. She upgraded to a Samsung. Technician, Carlos Vega, spent almost the entire day carefully reviewing the new phone applications with her, transferring data to the new phone and making sure the financial aspect of the transaction was accurate. Worst location. Cecilia is a the sales rep I worked with. The first problem was that she wasn't able to cancel my pre-order of my iPhone 8. She told me to call customer service but when I called customer service they told me to call her because she would be able to do it. They had me go back and forth between them that I ended up giving up on canceling my order and just waited for it to be shipped instead of getting it at a corporate store. The second issue was communication. I told her that I can't get into my phone at all so I gave her my work cell number to contact me when my phone arrived. When I called this morning to get an update, she said she's been calling me on my personal cell. The final problem was that she added hidden "transactions". When she was processing my upgrade, one of the other sale rep took a package of tempered glass screen protector and started putting it on without asking if I wanted it. When I asked Cecilia about that, she said it "came with it". When I got the total price, it was completely different from the price that I paid for my husband's phone (we have the same phone & same GB). When we brought that up to her, she didn't have an explanation why and said she was going to give us a discount. She then told another rep to remove the iPhone car charger off the table (which I assumed she added to my bill without asking). I asked her once more about the tempered glass and again, she said "it came with it". When we left, I noticed on the receipt that the tempered glass wasn't "free" as she made it to be. It was an additional $49.99 and she ALSO added a $10 VIP annual membership which she never went over with me. I instantly called corporate and made a complaint. Customer service confirmed with me that Verizon doesn't have a VIP annual membership. In the end, customer service submitted a complaint to the higher administration. I will be going in tomorrow morning to return the tempered glass and remove myself off the VIP annual membership. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for nearly 15 years. I love Verizon. However, this store is to be avoided at all costs! I wanted to buy a flip phone for my mom. It took almost 45 min to order. I live in San Jose, so I came back a week later to pick up the phone (note, they never called me when it came in, I had to call them). It took the rep (Charles) 45 min to finish the transaction due to a technical error. Later, I got the phone to my mom and it did not power on. I came back to the store and another rep, noticed the battery was in the bottom of the box. I called the store later when I saw I had been charged not only an activation fee, but a "Set Up and Go Plus" fee of $19.99. I was told this was because setting up the phone and transferring contacts was took time for reps. I told her the phone was never set up or even turned on; I was just handed me the box. I ended up speaking to the manager (Justin) who said to come in and he would refund it. He could not do it in person. I came in a week later at the agreed upon time, waited for 20 minutes... no one was even available to acknowledge me until I came up to them. I left a note for Justin saying I'd come by and can he please just refund it. I left my email and phone number. A week later, still nothing. Store is unkempt and phone displays not labeled, some staff are friendly, but the overall service is just poor and waits are always long with no one acknowledging customers. read more

Rip off store. This place is a scam for charging a service fee for phones while no one else in my family was charged a service charge for any services. They are not a corporate location. I called Verizon and they agreed that the service fee was not a Verizon fee, they cannot be charging fees that are not approved by Verizon. They do not give you any written agreements or anything in writing to show what will be charged until after everything is said and done. read more

They couldn't find us what we wanted and he didn't help us find it in another store. On request, he looked up stores that may stock the iPhone 7 plus, but we had to call and get all details.
