Generally, I have picked up my phones in person so that I can see them before taking them with me. That said, their descriptions on the website do match what they have in stock. If it says something is Excellent or in A condition, it is truthful. One tip - it is easier to get in touch with them through the chat feature on the website than on the telephone. For anyone that has issues with their cell phones and still got along way to go on their contracts, I recommend this place for temporary solution for not breaking and extending your contracts. Digicircle sells new, used cell phones and other electronics you can think of. You would have to check their website for availability for the phones. I would say that this place is a great alternative for used cell phones, rather than bidding on eBay. Pricing can be better than what you would pay on eBay. I had a Palm Pre for Sprint, but it died on me. So I ran into Digicircle on a random Craigslist ad. The website was easy use and ordering was simple. I ended up getting a like new Blackberry 8530 to replace my Palm Pre. Luckily for me I can locally pickup the phone the same day I buy it. If I would have bid through eBay, It would have taken a couple days for it and/or still would be bidding on a phone. Digicircle used to be a highly recommended business. Now no phone calls answered, the 'reset password' procedure is untenable! Been a customer for years, off-and-on as a phone was needed/wanted. Cannot reset password without 'verifying phone number'. When that is done message comes up 'number is in use by someone else,' etc. Like i said, used to be good and I recommended it to others. I went on to eBay to try to find a Galaxy A20 phone for local pickup and found this place through that. Didn't buy it online- decided to just drive out since they said they had about 20 of them. Was pretty stressed as money was low and was needing a reliable new phone immediately. Awesome deal on this at only around $90 and now a number of weeks later, phone still working awesomely- no issues and it's perfect- absolutely like new. Been a loyal customer for nearly ten years until my recent purchase of a "like new" iphone 6 which I was not supposed to tell if it was brand new or not as stated LIKE NEW "Cosmetically can not tell from a brand new item..." They claim they inspect the phones before listed, but the phone I received had a defective screen that was sticking out of the bezel, the battery wouldn't last an hour (literally), and after one day of use, the screen started to dial random buttons and numbers when not touched and the back had some visible scuffs. They offered to exchange for the same phone, but because they clearly don't check the conditions that well, I decided to replace the screen and battery for $120. That means to get that actual phone to work in "like new" condition (if youre lucky) it would be worth $320. They even said "its a used phone and not going to function like a brand new one"... well no Fu**ing DUH! but the phone was no where near like new condition, I don't trust them anymore and will never buy again. read more

This was exactly what the place I was looking when I needed to get my wife a cell phone to hold her over until she can upgrade in a few months. I found a nice LG with qwerty keyboard for $35. The webpage is what I first looked at and then I thought I'd go to the store to check out the founds. Now, here's the part were it gets weird. They don't really have a store front, as in you go and can't see the stuff. You have to go online on the computers they have there and order your stuff. They'll bring it out and if you don't want it you can cancel the transaction after you see the item. However, if you paid cash for it at pick up, they can only return it for store credit for some reason. I have no idea why they have this policy since you just gave them the money. The other thing to note is that they have a 'handling' fee. This was also kind of weird also because I bought a cell phone and a portable DVD player for about the same price yet the handling fees were very different (almost double for the DVD player - $4 vs $8). It's still a great value so I didn't think about it too much - just wanted to let the Yelp community know. I know have a new go-to spot for used electronics. read more

I lost my phone and this place was so helpful in getting me a phone/charger. I placed my order online, went into the store and picked up my Samsung A177. I tried it out and it was a piece of shit because the keyboard lagged and couldn't keep up with my typing. So I placed an order for a Pantech Impact the same day in their store and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Phone is in decent condition, I would just recommend inspecting it before you take it home with ya. The workers there will be gladly to exchange it. The workers there are SUPER nice and welcoming too, which is why I gave the 5 stars. Well my rating of this place remains the same. I got what I paid for. I thought I was getting like "new items - open box" but I think they were returned retail items because one of the digital frames had personal pictures from the previous customer. I guess that is technically "like new - open box." A month later the images in my digital frames started to fade. It's hit or miss there. I think I had the same useless young Asian kid who did not know anything about anything...he was not even a little a helpful. Very hit or miss I bought a Samsung epic. Description said like new and the screen and body of phone where scratched up.I didn't care about the scratch around the phone but the screen come on. They have something called Jackpot on their website. I won one of those. The phone was listed as excellent condition. I got email confirmation asking me to pick up in 3 days otherwise they will charge $1 per day and cancel the item. When I went to pick up, they said they do not have battery for phone and they contacted me by email. I am not sure if they know the meaning of phone ready for pickup. Anyway, they offered me $5 credit or come back later for battery. I asked to see phone, and it had dents on lower left and upper right corners. A few deep enough dents (not dings, but dents). The screen appeared to be clean. The person helping me said, the phone was listed excellent not "like new". Their website says excellent is: "Little sign of use. May have some very fine scuffs and/or scratches." I am not sure if they missed the definition of "very fine" or something, but not upto the mark. It was probably still a decent value not "Excellent" value I thought. This place felt like bait and switch to me. Probably ok for small cheap items, for anything bigger than 40-50$ or showing condition as VERY GOOD, be careful, it may not meet your expectations. They did refund my money quickly but wasted my time and were probably hopping I do not show up and they charge me those $1/day storage fee as they clearly did not have all parts of item. read more

I hope they get back to what they used to be. I bought a phone for my dad and not even two weeks later, the phone was locked. I went in to get a replacement or a refund and they blamed me for having locked the phone into my google account. I called T-Mobile (the carrier) and they told me, that the phone had been frozen by them(T-mobile) because the previous owner still owes money on it, so you won't be able to use the phone at all, until the phone is paid. But the employee that helped me was adamant that I was to blame when in their website they clearly stated that there were no issues with the phone. Now im at a lost, my dad needs his phone to be able to communicate with his family and now thanks to their poor customer service, which I was and still am under the 30 day warranty, all I want now is my money back. I don't know what changed but I feel like I am being treated poorly by this employee because they don't want to their job. This is not the first time I have had problems with one of their phones, needless to say this might just be the last time I do business with them. So heads up and make sure everything works fine before leaving the store when picking it up your items. I ordered a "like new" I phone 6s. I requested the 5-7 business day shipping. I ordered the phone on Thursday and my "like new" iphone arrived on Monday! I must say I was quite impressed. California to Ohio in that time was wonderful. When inspecting the phone, as far as I can tell, it really is "Like New!" The screen is flawless the back has no marks and the battery life seems to be fine. These guys absolutely ROCK !!!! I bought a Samsung TMobile phone from them, and it started giving me error messages about a week after I bought it. I emailed them and received a very prompt response. They said to first do a hard reset, and see if that worked. If it didn't, they said they would replace it. So, after another week, I emailed them again and said it was still occuring, so they said to bring it in and they would exchange it. I bought it in the next day and they exchanged it with a little bit better of a phone and apologized that I had problems with the first one. I've been a loyal customer for 4 years, making purchases of up to USD 10,000. But this company is treating its loyal customer unfairly. For example, it usually ships out phones without battery and/or back cover without describing that in their ads. When I sent emails to customer service, they simply replied that their tech sometimes could not handle all the testing!? Ridiculous! Moreover, it also sometimes fails to describe phones' wifi failure which accompanies bluetooth failure. One of its common suggestions is that they accept a return with a restocking fee and shipping fee. That's also ridiculous as it does not want to take responsibility for its mistakes. I purchased a used Verizon cell phone for cheap was happy that I got such a good price, but it was too good to be true. When the phone came in , it didn't come with a charger so I went to walmart to buy one. Came home, and the phone would not turn on. I opened the battery cover and saw a pink dot indicating the phone was previously wet by the PREVIOUS owner. The conditions of each phone are individually described on the item's listing. But this is untrue, if they actually did what they say they do, they would of seen that the phone was defective without putting up for sale and sending it to me. Recently I wanted to buy a phone for a friend so I figured another positive experience would be likely. A not so long story short, I bought a used phone advertised as 'Like new', received an error message pertaining to the pairing of a SIM and the phone and could not activate it with the service provider, returned the phone a few days later and was charged $5 for the hassle. If the product didn't function as advertised, why am I charged anything? That's not how you keep customers. I've been doing business with digicircle for over a year now. I have no problems with their service until recently, their description for the phones are really off. I bought some of the phones that are described as brand new (sealed in box) and new open box. I drove to their warehouse and picked them up, to my dissappoinment, the brand new (sealed in box) phones weren't even sealed, there were even a dent on the bottom corner of one of the phone. Then the brand new opened box phones has scratches on it. I also bought several phones that described as like new, but they were excellent at best. This company has saved my a$$ several times over the last 6+ years where I have lost/broken phones. They are good for keeping you afloat until an upgrade, or you have a good chance of finding a good keeper on there. To some of the posters on this review, I mean - you know the phones are USED right? They aren't going to come in perfect shape. Overall all the phones I have gotten have been fine. If you are ever in a pinch - this is the spot to go to.
