I complained about this a few months ago and was specific about the worker who was rude to my wife and I. Her husband sent me death threats in my messages and I took my complaint down because he said he knew where I lived. I have Verizon and the service is pretty good, what really bothers me is how my monthly bill changes every month. So I call my local store and am on hold for 22 minutes! I figure it would be easier to just show up which was extremely inconvenient. I arrive and my phone is still ringing and no one is answering so I show the staff how I am literally calling them on the phone and have been on hold for 22 minutes, someone finally comes out from the back room like I interrupted a lunch break - grumpy and pissy. Kevin was SO rude. Complete lack of customer service from this "team". When the conversation was over he literally just walked away from me. I said so, is that it? And he turns and said "yeah." And continued walking away from me. So much disrespect. Considering changing providers because of how poorly I was treated. Will never go to this location again. read more

Service was okay, but only giving three stars because they used common sales techniques to make costs seem lower than reality. Not very transparent about upfront, one time costs. I was given a price quote that had a lot of details/notes hand written by the sales woman helping me. I didn't realize until later that the fine print in the quote print out specifically says handwritten notes aren't a legal part of the estimate. All the numbers she wrote on my quote were based on a number of assumptions that were unclear at the time, and not well explained. These were things I would have to accomplish later at home, or would kick in a month later. The things that would hopefully kick in later included the value of my trade in phone, enrolling in autopay/paperless billing, and a military discount. If Verizon later decided my trade in phone wasn't worth as much, my monthly bill would be much higher than the quote. You have to enroll in autopay on their website after you make an account, and that won't be included on your first bill. Autopay can't be on a credit card for some reason, so you can't get rewards points that way. It has to be an ACH transaction from your bank account. The saleswoman also wasn't sure if I would get a military discount because it wouldn't be reflected in my first monthly bill, and it was up to me to make sure Verizon was including that. It seemed strange to me that she didn't have the power to make that happen with certainty. As I was finishing up there were a few surprise things I had to pay for. We had spent all this time taking about the costs, and it wasn't until I was committed that I was told that the 120 dollars in tax weren't included in any of the costs we had been talking about. I would have to pay that right now. Also there was a 40 dollar activation fee per line. These things were only brought up after we had spent a long time talking about phone models, plans, and costs. I had been there for quite a while, and she sprung this on me as I was signing the final paperwork. Bottom line: you will get a quote, your actual monthly bill will be higher, and there will be surprise one time costs. read more

I came in to buy two phones, swap my current phone with a new phone, add a new line with the second new phone, swap my current phone with one of the tablets on my account, change data service for yet another tablet on my account, plus get new chargers and cases for the two new phones that came out today. My man Kevin NAILED IT! I was in and out in less than an hour, At one point, Kevin even explained to ME what I was trying to convey to HIM! I've been coming to this same Verizon for two or three years now I've always been happy with the service I received every visit. I have had Verizon phones for many, many years. I went to the Hanford Verizon and asked if they could show me how to synchronize my phone to my car phone because for some reason it didn't work anymore. The man said they don't do that. I told him they have done it for me before. Well, they are not supposed to, he said. I asked to talk to the manager and he said "I am the manager!". I told him he was very rude and walked out. They have very poor customer service. I agree with Courtney H., they have lack of training in handling customer issues. I have also went in with just a question and told I would have to wait..."there five ahead of you" though I didn't see five people being waited on. read more

This store does absolutely everything it can to not help it's customers! I have come in several times because my phone hasn't been working everytime they tell me they can't help and to call 611. My phone can't call 611 because it doesn't work! I upgraded to the latest phone and I still periodically have issues with reception especially here in Hanford. I come in to get help and they either tell me they can't help me without an appointment or to call Verizon for help. I don't understand why the store is even here if they can't help with anything in person except sales and even then they are sold out of everything and do everything off your phone in the Verizon app. Completely useless. I brought my old phone in once my new phone came in to trade it in and they said I can't do that only UPS can. I let them know we have a friend who never received their promotion because verizon claimed they never sent the phone thru UPS and we wanted to prevent that from happening to us. They said no. Now almost a month later we are in that same situation with 2 phones we're supposed to get $800 for each and they just asked me why I didn't just return it in the store this store is full of lazy lying people, every time I'm served by a different person and they can never help fix anything at all. I am extremely disappointed to the point where I am looking into returning this new phone, cancelling my service and asking for my old phone back so I can stick it in a kiosk at the mall to get $1 for it! Lack of training in handling customer issues as I witnessed a lady come in with a billing complaint get treated as she was a high school student complaining about a home work assignment. I'm just amazed at the service... or should I say lack there of. Where do I start? The girl working the register greeted us and asked us what she could help us with. Then states, "oh, I'm sorry. There's someone ahead of you. You'll have to wait." This would have been fine if they were actually busy. Total people in the store 6: family of 3, 1 other guy, plus me and my friend. Really?! Girl proceeded to talk and laugh with her friend/coworker while on her phone. Honestly I'm pretty chill about waiting usually, but this was just rude. Came in for a simple phone switch with both phones at hand. Not to mention a real lack of chairs that aren't ground level. This would have been really helpful for someone people with a disability, especially after a knee surgery where they can't bend down that far. Guy actually helping us was nice and professional. Service was great was told there was a promotion for buying lg g4 and gpad where buying the gpad would give me a 100 dollar rebate and the phone would get free extra battery and charger. I applied for the rebate on the website they gave me and was declined because I didn't buy the devices during the right dates. Terrible service. No joke walked in there was one other customer being helped and no one else. There were two at the desk and one with a tablet. There was another lady with a normal clip board also. We walked in not even a single hello or hi was said. Since the lady with the clip board made eye contact with me she right away looked away then when I asked her for help she asked if I've been signed in and pointed to the lady with the tablet and nothing more. Seeing how all we had was a simple question no need to pull up an acct I just informed her of the question and she said it's online you can change it there and left it at that. This is by far the worst verizon location that I have ever been to. They did everything in their power not to take back a Note 7. I was questioned about the phone and if it was "exhibiting any symptoms" that the defective Note 7's were showing. I waited for a hour in the store for an associate to tell me they would not take the phone. I then spoke with a "manager" who at the time acted like i was an idiot and that i was not up to speed on what was actually going on. He kept telling me it's only a "voluntary recall" even though Samsung had issued an email out to customers urging them to shut down their phones and take it in. 2 days after my terrible experience at this location the CPSC eluded to a formal recall on the horizon with the "formal" recall happening yesterday. Worst service ever but i guess that happens in a small town when you only have one location, they can afford to be rude and non helpful to customers. read more

Unlimited must have gotten kidnapped and held hostage DO NOT USE these people they will STEAL YOUR MONEY if you need any help at all they will not help you I switched from a 3 gig data plan to an unlimited plan 4 School and work so I can use a mobile hotspot and when I did get it I could no longer use my mobile hotspot or set one up and when I did also change to this they locked my SIM card and now I've had to call every day for the past week every day to get my PUK number which keeps changing because they messed up and when I called to resolve it and even went into the store they told me they could do nothing about it so I spent $80 on nothing have unlimited data on a phone that's locked and the number that keeps changing to unlock the SIM card on my phone so almost half of each day because I don't know when the SIM card locks just keeps locking on its own I have suffered greatly with business I've also suffered greatly and keeping contact with ill family members I've also suffered greatly and other areas so if you want stress anxiety depression and mental anguish I completely suggest this nominal phone company.
