    I rarely complain and give a long and poor review however taking into consideration that it has been a few times that I have experienced some kind of challenge at this store, I think is time to speak up Verizon products are amazing and most of the staff are wonderful. I will provide a review based in the way they provide "customer service" only I have observed that Verizon has been struggling for a while providing a great service experience however I have noticed that it got worse after Covid-19 They continue to be short of staff and now with this limited store hours they're making it harder and inconvenient on their customers They seem to acknowledge complaints and they apologize but I don't see improvement nor change Customers Time is precious and I understand that everywhere you go there will be some reasonable waiting time involved however, the waiting time at this location depending on the day and time can be pretty discouraging and time consuming My three chargers quit on me and I didn't want to spend my entire lunch time waiting to be assisted to purchase multiple chargers for my device so I waited until I got off work To my surprise I found out the hard way that this store closes at 6pm. When you're in a retail business they should be more inclusive taking most people's schedules into consideration. Closing at 6:00pm is unacceptable Before arrival I called Verizon customer service line to find out about business hours however the Verizon representative was unaware of the store hours, and he couldn't get that information on their database neither but he provided me the store number (562) 633-5030 to call however this number doesn't connect you to the store so it was a waste of time I got at the Lakewood location at at 6pm sharp only to find out that they were already closed. It's was disappointing I would love to continue to buy directly from Verizon but they're basically forcing us to go to AT&T, Best Buy across the street or Apple Store in Cerritos. They're busy as well however, they seem to have a better customer service in place and they also provide their customers with more options for further convenience making our store experience quicker and easier .. that's sad I been loyal to Verizon over a few decades and there is no doubt they still have a better network than other carriers but they don't seem to be improving on their customer service support I would like to escalate my observations and concerns for further review Apologies mean nothing when you see so many complaints about poor customer service and they're unable to be reliable and accessible with something as simple as their business operating hours being changed not with the customer in mind It was a bit stressful to make accommodations to return the next day before 6pm but made it and I was assisted by KY. She is incredible however because I don't like to keep employees after hours and due to the lack of time available there was no opportunity to look around and being able to buy a few other accessories Verizon you need to work on improving and showing your customers with actions not only words that as you say it we truly are "the Best part of Verizon "

    Pulled up at 6:35pm, they locked the door in front of me saying they are closed. The website said 8pm closing, and I showed them. They shook their head and said no. I asked if there was another Verizon store open, they said no. Very disappointed and looking for a different carrier now. After heard in from the business, I will give it another shot and thanks for your responsiveness.

    Anthony, the sales associate who helped me, encountered a "system glitch" that led to him cancelling my original account created online by me and creating a new one in-store. Regrettably, this change was made without my knowledge or consent, and it has resulted in severe repercussions for me. This "system glitch" information was given to me today by Rebecca the Store Manager. To make matters worse, the original account due to this "system glitch" has been mistakenly sent to collections, causing a significant reduction of 160 points in my credit score and all while being in the current process of purchasing my first home. As a single mother of two, I have worked diligently to improve my credit score. However, this incident has severely impacted my family and I. I was in the process of loan approval until my loan officer informed me that my credit score drop resulted in loan declination. Now, the house that my children and I chose after many months of searching is gone. This erroneous debt is both distressing and deeply unfair. I attempted to resolve this issue by reaching out to Verizon's customer service, but I have been met with frustration and disappointment as I was repeatedly transferred to different departments without finding any resolution. After a few hours on the phone, I sought assistance by walking in to this corporate store and asked to speak to the Store Manager-Rebecca. During my visit to the store, I politely requested Rebecca's district manager's name and contact information to escalate the matter as she said she's never dealt with my particular situation before and did not know how to proceed. Unfortunately, she declined to provide this information and, in an unfortunate turn of events, asked me to leave the premises. I understand that errors can occur in any business, but the lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism exhibited by the store manager, Rebecca is truly appalling. Reviews with her non existent managerial skills and lack of any customer service are everywhere. Verizon's own website, google, yelp, reddit, glassdoor etc. At what point will Verizon take accountability for Rebecca's actions? Tip if you visit this store: record your interaction with every employee but especially Rebecca.

I checked, waited till my name was called Robert mispronounced my name (no big deal) I corrected him and he proceeded to say it wrong again on purpose with a shoulder shrug. Next I am trying to exchange my equipment and he tells me they don't have it in the store, so I ask if he can have it delivered to my home he immediately tells me no and that I can call customer service, it didn't make sense to me so I ask why, he says it's not a service they do in store I know this is untrue because I've done this in the past when I was informed they didn't have the equipment. So I ask to speak to the manager and after I explain the situation I am informed that Robert can assist with sending the equipment to my home. I inform the manager that Robert said he couldn't. So Robert assist with sending the equipment to my home I ask for a confirmation number once again Robert doesn't want to do his job and he tells me I can get it offline. This is not the experience I expected in store. This is also why most ppl prefer doing everything online. This is also why I will be also calling corporate and continuing my complaint, I didn't come on my lunch break to be provided rude unsatisfactory service when all I needed was to swap my equipment out so I can use the internet I pay for. The manager was nice and effective in assisting me, however if Robert is still at this location I will not be returning he needs a lot of training.

I downloaded the Try Cricket app on my iPhone and tested it out with my then-current provider. I was convinced to switch to Cricket after I tried using my cell phone in my church's basement level (we are meeting there temporarily until the church's roof can be refurbished). My then-current provider had NO signal at all, yet Cricket still had a signal, even though it showed one signal bar on my phone. I then switched later that week online, after which I received an email notifying me that it would take 2 business days to switch over. I had seen the Cricket Wireless store adjacent to the Walmart on South Street, so I decided to stop by to see if they could speed up the process of getting me switched over. The employee on duty, Emely, was helping other customers who were there before me, so I had to wait a short while. When she was ready, she called me over and I explained my situation with proof that I had made the switch online; I just needed to make the switch complete on my device. It was a bit of a laborious process for Emely (she was helping other customers in between), but she punched a few buttons on my iPhone and told me that I was finally switched over to the Cricket Wireless network. :-) I signed up for the $55.00/month unlimited data plan. Since I elected to have my monthly payments on auto pay, I get a $5.00 discount, so I end up paying $50.00/month. Emely was very welcoming, friendly, and patient while she got the process started in switching me over to Cricket. So far, the service is working flawlessly. I highly recommend the service and this particular Cricket store for sure.

Other places either tried to upsell us, couldn't give a straight answer about pricing or availability, or became pushy the moment we asked about the difference between original and aftermarket screens. He didn't rush me, didn't try to upsell, and didn't call repeatedly after giving me a quote. He simply provided clear information and genuine customer service, something that's rare these days. I went in for a cracked (very badly) back glass. It had shattered over a year and a half ago and I just left it, until the distorted photos finally drove me crazy. (the crack had gotten to one of the lenses). The phone worked fine, and I just kept a case on it. Mohammad was very quick and friendly, and my phone was fixed for about $160 and I went on my way. About a week later, my phone started acting funny (like it was possessed)... and then went black. I took it back in, thinking maybe something had been altered/accidentally knocked loose when my back screen was repaired, but was told that NO, it was a different issue. He replaced the front screen b/c my LCD had gone out and it was an electrical problem...and I was told that it was a very high quality replacement, and that my phone should be as good as new! ($300 ish this time). Two days later, before I had gotten around to getting another screen protector, my front screen cracked when I GENTLY TOSSED it into my gym back. No big drop, no hit with a hard object! In over 25 years of having a cell phone, I have NEVER CRACKED a screen! And before just dropping $450 on fixing it, I had never before been gentle on a phone. I have dropped, thrown, etc my phone and they are tough! So, I grit my teeth and have been living with a slightly cracked screen, which should not have cracked with what I did to it! Since the repair(s) my phone was also laggy, calls on WIFI were dropped, and internet worked about 60% of the time. Something was definitely wrong. THEN, this morning... out of nowhere, my phone dies again. Screen went black, and it still vibrates, so it is charged... but nothing happens. There is just no way that this is all coincidence. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I will be checking into taking legal action at this point. ADDITION: took phone to another reputable repair place and they laughed at the screen that was put on and were adament that it was a CHEAP replacement, that was absolutely the WRONG screen for my iphone, and that iFIX would have absolutely known they were using a faulty part.
