Dear Verizon Executive Relations, I have been a loyal Verizon Wireless customer for over 23 years. Recently, I was told on three separate occasions that my iPhone 17 Pro Max was on its way, and that my Series 3 Apple Watch would arrive together. I was also promised a $1000 trade-in credit for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. After multiple one-hour calls with representatives in different call centers, I was later told I would only receive $800 instead. There seems to be major miscommunication, and I have spent significant time trying to resolve this without success. I'm requesting that Verizon honor the originally quoted $1000 trade-in credit and provide an update on my iPhone and Apple Watch order status. Thank you for your attention and assistance. read more

I went in to get a new phone for my wife as a Christmas gift. I was VERY clear that I wanted the old phone to continue working until Christmas morning and I was repeatedly assured that would be the case. I got home and her old phone would not work. I wish I'd seen the lousy customer reviews for this store before I went there Christmas surprise ruined. I contacted customer service to undo what the store did and they could not. At this point I'm ready to dump verizon as a wireless "provider" entirely. If I could leave a zero star review I sure would. I you must use Verizon find another store for sure. Consider another wireless provider if possible. UPDATE: Reactivating my wife's deactivated phone took not one but TWO trips to this hapless store. Well without cell service for 10 days have been Verizon customer for years just wanted to upgrade phone Brought brand new Apple phone to them. They could not activate it after several hours Gave me info the 480 number was bad ( the number I have used for years) Wanted to try new number still would not activate Long story made short Got another new Apple phone Set both Apple phones beside each other and in 15 minutes everything including cell service was done and finished in the comfort of my home Now back to this store to erase all the charges for the new phone number they tried to get working All said maybe nobody's fault just lots and lots of time. I will try sum this up. Six weeks ago I went into this store because Verizon's customer care over the phone was just terrible. I met with Sergio who is the customer business representative. Sergio told me that I needed to switch my to a business line instead of a consumer line to save money. I said OK let's do this after an hour. He said that I was all set and now I would be paying less money because my phone number was transferred over to a business account. Several weeks later, I get my bill and I was being charged a consumer rate. I called Verizon customer care on the phone and I got nowhere as usual so I had to drive back down to the store to find out why I'm being charged more than I'm supposed to be charged.. When I was graded at the door, I explained my problem to someone. The person expressed no interest by his demeanor. I then said I want to speak to Sergio. He was the one that me up with this. The clerk went back and got Sergio, and the both of them were discussing me in the hall away from me. Then they both came out and Sergio says hi what is your name as if he never remembered me and it was the first time we've ever met. Usually somebody would remember somebody after doing business correspondence with them at least I do. I simply said Sergio, let me refresh your memory he got all upset and started telling me off as if we were in some sort of bar. I put hand Out and I said excuse me I am the customer! And I have a problem you were supposed to have this transferred over to a business account from my personal account. That's what you sold me on. Sergio started to argue with me and say more about how he's has 17 years experience, blah blah blah blah blah. Sergio then said to the degree of leaving me there because he was so upset with me. I basically just apologized just to get them both to fix the problem. I inquired about restitution for overpayment on my bill because of the failure to have my account transferred to a business account. Sergio said you're gonna have to talk to Verizon billing for that. I know how that will go. I won't be able to get that money back because of the screwup that Sergio did with my original transfer from one account to another. I will say this to all of you out there. Sergio had one job to do that day and that is to transfer my information from one account to another so that I would be billed less money. Sergio should never ever have argued with me the customer to prove himself right when he was clearly in the wrong, because I was in the right! Furthermore, I don't care how long he's been with Verizon again. He only had one job to do and that was to make sure that my account was handled and he couldn't even do that. There's no excuse this day and age to have someone handle your account in person with a computer in their hand and buttons to make sure something is handled. I think Sergio and some of the other staff in that store needs proper training on customer etiquette! I will not go back to that store because of this. read more

In this office and Verizon (1438 S Power Rd Ste 102, Mesa, AZ 85206) they will scum you for your business. The NFL Sunday Ticket is a SCUM/ False advertising. I Spend more than $4 K in phones for the family and this "FREE" package is a scum. They just want your business and that's it. If you get offers or something for free, GET IT first and then give them your business otherwise they will not do anything if is done the other way. Verizon customer support is a JOKE, is like a bunch of high preschoolers are answering the phones and none of them knows anything. Definitely not worth my business and it shouldn't be yours. If you don't believe me read the counter comments from Verizon in the bad reviews (oh I'm sorry we don't meet your expectations, we'll do better next time), is like a slap in the face. I REALLY wish there was a negative stars option. The ONLY good thing about this location was Jose, and apparently he left....I walked in on a Monday morning at 10:30.... There were 4 employees....3 appeared to be with customers and I was approached by Ashton who checked me in advising there were two people in front of me. I sat and waited while Ashton proceeded to walk around doing nothing but play on his phone and tablet.... If it was work related he should have gone in the back.... 45 minutes later, more associates arrived and I was called by Haylee, who is horrible. I had witnessed her interactions with other customers on a previous visit and was not pleased to have to deal with her to begin with. She obviously had no Idea what she was doing and needs a strong lesson in math and vocabulary.... Terrible, just terrible.... read more

Getting a new phone ranks right up there with buying a car, or going to the dentist. This is a corporate store and it was nice the see they were fully staffed on a Sunday afternoon. I did not experience any wait and Jared helped me with my upgrade. I even changed my mind and Jared said, no worries. He was patient and provided great guidance and ideas. What always seems to be kind of a pain, turned out to be a great experience. Seems everyone on this day was ready to help and I didn't see anyone waiting very long or frustrated. This store was really great. The workers were patient with my fiancé and I while we were discussing about our options and disgruntled with issues that had arisen when we were setting up our plan. Daniel was especially helpful. He really went above and beyond and getting us setup for our plan and even so far as dealing with some issues that could've been avoided sadly. If could rate this out of 10 it would definitely be higher because not only did they give us options, they were patient with us. We really hope Daniel gets a raise or some form of recognition because he was really helpful. As well as, for anybody looking to setup a new phone plan or purchase a product, go to this store. Went in to transfer my line from T-Mobile to Verizon. Apparently they don't need the business. It is 5:45 on 9/28 and there are 5 employees. Two were helping people. Three were in the hall laughing and joking. After 20 minutes I asked if one of them could help me. One of the women said they were all helping one other customer together?? Horrible Service ... two gentlemen I didn't get their names one checking customers in don't give a crap about customers or service. The one seemed bothered and avoided the new customers coming ... I know this because I waited for an hour and finally left. There were 3 other people waiting who left also. I was there for a simple exchange which another store sold me the phone but wouldn't charge they sent me here calling ahead telling them I'm on my way and told me it would be an easy process. NOPE clearly wrong this store didn't have the phone on hold l, had to look for it when he told me they found he stated you still have to wait behind all 7 people on line??!!! WHAT! This is by far the best Verizon store I have been to. I've been having some random problem with my phone the past three months. I went to three different Verizon stores, and the Apple Store twice. No one knew how to help me. I went to this location prepared to discuss changing my phone/phone number, but luckily the manger knew how to help. Wonderful service me and my grandma went in to upgrade our phones and they did a wonderful job helping us especially with the coronavirus outbreak going on but the only thing is we had to order our phones because they did not have them on hand which is completely understandable especially what is going in the world but they were super kind and they were very quick and they helped explain the difference between the models to my grandma which was super helpful and I would recommend this store read more

I went into this corporate store to help my father upgrade his 3-year old cell phone and plan. I have worked in retail a long time, have been a manager myself and I must say that the "service" received at this store was appalling! I'm not even a Verizon customer and this store will keep me that way... The corporate employees were very impatient and short with us from the start. Looking at plans, they refused to take the time to explain anything to me or my father, who is a very analytical person. They did everything they could to pressure my dad into a more expensive, high-data plan without explaining how he might benefit from it (after all, he averages less than 0.3GB of data per month!). All our questions were met with sales pitches and simple "no can do" answers without offering explanation or alternatives. For some reason, the first associate we spoke with got on the topic of tablets and tablet data plans, while my father and I were still unclear about what to do with his phone! All in all, there was simply no eagerness of the staff to really assist us as people and it became clear why the corporate store has you "take a number" when you arrive. Insensitivity seems to be the lifestyle there. I ended up taking my dad to a "GoWireless" Verizon retail location after seeing them treat my sister well and we got all the help we needed. They were far more patient in explaining the plan details and proposed changes to my dad. They actually helped him save money after reviewing his account, all without sacrificing any services. When we walked out of this Verizon corporate store, we were both ready to pull our hair out. When we left GoWireless, my dad had a new phone, extra money in his pocket each month, staff we knew we could rely on and a smile on both our faces. Verizon, you should be ashamed of this store! Honestly, there's no sense in spending another dollar on any brand marketing until the problems with the ethic and poor customer focus in this store are resolved. You're losing money every day things remain unchanged! My father, who doesn't like making big changes and still believes in brand loyalty, was seriously considering switching carriers after dealing with the associates here! I don't normally even bother writing reviews when I've had a bad experience, because I figure it doesn't do much good. But since I may have lost $200 due to shopping at this store, I'm going to write one. I went in earlier in October to trade my iPhone 5s for a 6s. I know, it's still a generation behind, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on a 7. But the guy at the store told me it would actually cost me a bit more per month if I went with a 6, so I bought the 7. He told me my phone would trade in at $300, so I agreed, based on that trade-in price. He also told me the phone would ship in 5 days. It did not ship in 5 days, but in fact took 3 more weeks. That part doesn't bother me all that much, although when I called the store about it, they were rude and dismissed my call. But what bugs me is that when I went to trade it in, I was told I'd only get $100 for it. When I told them I was quoted $300, they informed me that I'd ordered my phone ONE DAY after a promo had ended. Turns out the guy in this particular store doesn't know when promos start or end. So now I've had to file some dumb appeal and hope that I actually get the $300 trade-in I was quoted at the store. If it's not approved, I'll have to pay $200 more for this phone than I agreed to. So dude, whoever you are that sold me this phone, you owe me $200 if this isn't approved. Signed a Verizon customer since 2008...but that may soon change. read more

If I could give this store and the company a lower rating I would. I went in to the store to simply cancel a plan because I'm moving abroad. I knew that I was going to have to pay a cancellation fee, which made how they treated me worse. Basically, they couldn't cancel my service in the store and I was forced to call their customer support IN THE STORE, which I was hung up on twice! It took me over and hour and a half to simple cancel one phone line. What made things worse is they wouldn't let me cancel the contract for an entire month so I had to pay for the cancellation fee + another month of phone service that I couldn't use because the phone was not compatible in Europe. The manager was obviously trying to hide from me because he made one of his least experienced representatives work with me and he made sure to look busy on the opposite side of the store. BTW, I wanted to sell the phone back to the store, which I was quoted $100 a few weeks prior from their customer service. When I arrived to the store, they told me the phone was now worth $33. How does a phone in perfect shape lose $77 of value within weeks? What angers me the most about Verizon is how I've been a customer with them since 2002. When I move back to the states, I will NOT sign back up with Verizon. Verizon is a horrible company. read more

I always dread going into a Verizon store because no matter what, you always have to wait in line forever. This location, however; is one I had never been to before and figured it would be about the same as any others. It is very much like any other Verizon stores; someone takes your cell number to sign you in and you wait 30min-forever to get called on. I came here on a Wednesday night around 7pm so there were quite a few people who had come after work. I got checked-in and waited for about a half hour, but the staff members were very nice and apologized for the wait. I would rather come to this Verizon store than to the one I had been to before in Central Phoenix. Even though it was busy, it was not NEARLY as busy as others. Plus there is plenty of comfy seating room to chill and play around on your phone while you wait. read more

My family and I have gone to this location many times... but after this past experience we've had with Emily, we will not be back. I am not one to bash a place nor a person, but Emily made me feel like we were just another sale for her and did not care about us as a customer. After she tried selling us product and we kindly refused since it was too pricey... her whole attitude changed and she was just very disrespectful. My mom would ask questions on how to back up her phone and start up her new phone, which I had some knowledge but not enough, Emily would respond with a snarky comment... "just follow the instructions". Her whole attitude shifted as if we were wasting her time. As someone who represents a company such as Verizon, I would expect more being a customer, but I felt undervalued and disrespected. Makes me wonder if this is how Verizon effectively does business. TERRIBLE...TERRIBLE...SERVICE I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S9... Went to this location to have my info transferred to my old phone. The young service technician could not get the internet service to work on the phone inside of the store. He blamed the phone and insisted that we could do it at home. Why would I come here if i could do it at home...? My wife wanted to purchase an otter box and charger kit that was around $150...I refused to give them my business and the technician responded "Look man don't be mad at me" I was so angry that I had to storm out of the store. What ever happened to I'm sorry for the inconvenience "Sir" ...? WE went to the Queen Creek store and Shiann completed our request and sold us the protection and charger package and had a great attitude. I hope the Power Rd. First off, I went to the location less than a mile from my house on val vista, and Maria treated me HORRIBLY!! I mean just the worst possible sales woman out there. So after dealing with her incompetent skills, I decided to drive 6 miles out of my way to this location, 1438 S Power Rd. SCOTT CABARL made all the difference. I mean talk about patient, calm, knowledgeable, and dedicated!! This man, turned my opinion around and made me a believer. I was there to update my account and was there for quite some time, but Scott made the time fly by like nothing!! I enjoyed my experience so much, I decided to buy a case for my Sony Xperia through him, and once again, I must have passed six stores that sell my accessories, but I made it back into his store, because I KNOW the service he provides is impeccable! If you want Customer Service do NOT go to this location. Do NOT deal with JEFF either. Went to store today get my replacement Samsung Note 5 un suspended AFTER going to 2 other "Verison" stores that were NOT "authorized" to do so..."un suspend" and was sent to this location here in Mesa AZ. Went in. HUGE line of people and some girl walks up and takes my name and told to wait. I note about 2 of these "Service Reps" on their own cells not with Customers. Finally some JEFF comes up to me and asks what I need. I tell him, I'm abit frustrated already as been on this for 2 hours, 2 different "Verison" stores to get phone taken care of and ask him Why I have to come to THIS location way out of my way. I get "I don't know". (pet peeve: Do NOT work in Customer Service with answers "I DON"T KNOW) as that is all I've heard for past 3 hours now. I ask him again, as he's got his face buried in his Version Tablet doing "his thing" and I get back "I dont' know without even looking up at me to talk.. I let him know again my frustration..."Sorry I can't answer for those locations" ANOTHER PET PEEVE. He keeps tapping at his tablet and asks for ID. I give it. He then goes back to tapping. I ask again....."Excuse me, I don't know isn't an answer Jeff, and WHY is this as to certain locations ONLY being authorized". JEFF then does look UP and with a fake as hell smile snarks off to me..."Do you want me to take care of your phone or not?". I'm broke out laughing as I'm a 'older' person and was taken back by his snowflake demeanor. "YES Jeff, I do, after 3 hours 2 stores, I don't knows, Sorry can't do that, YES I like my phone on". I had to laugh louder and said "Sorry Sir, we can't do that, not authorized, so do your job and I'll leave, don't like my questions, not my job to know, it's yours and please put FB on there for and delete all the Verizon apps company puts on phone to use up data". JEFFERYgets fired up and states "No we dont' DO THAT". Why I ask? Cause we DONT DO THAT.....I have an number for you to call and they can help you, now leave. I go "ANSWER ME, Jeff..........WHY NOT, the other store down the street said no problem once YOU unsuspended my cell....JEFF?" Poor baby got all pissy then and told me....."LOOK lady we don't, as if we did that for everyone in this store, we wouldn't get anything done". Just got the best service from Jose at this location after waiting only five minutes, and there was as many customers as store employees (they were busy). After Jose apologized for the wait, we explained that we just came from another location after waiting an hour in the queue with no help, we said it wasn't a bother at all. Jose went above and beyond and even stayed after while our old phone was backing up. Thank you Jose et al!!!! read more

FYI If you got upgraded on a Verizon phone screen shield. They tell you it has a lifetime warranty. The problem is when you come back to replace it you have to send in the damaged one and wait for a new one. Never told to me at the time of sale. I also was told it's not the same product they sold me because of the shape??? And the staff told me to go wireless and get it replaced. I guess I'll take my business to go wireless to upgrade my protector and phone. NEVER had a company tell me to go do business with another company. . WANTED: salesman @Verizon. read more
