I was assured that I did not have to change my phone service to receive the back to school promo for my sons phone. I asked multiple times to be sure and was assured that I would automatically get this phone for $99. Well of course I got the 1st bill and I did not receive the credit. I went into the store and he actually did own up to it and assured me it was now taken care of. I get my next bill and of course it still wasn't taken care of. I called the 800 and was told there was no record of it being handled. I then called again to speak to a manager and he tells me "well that's just too bad because I didn't witness the conversation and neither one of my encounters was documented and he would not fix it. I will NEVER do business with this company again. I will pay off these phones and get as far away from T-mobile as possible. Thank God I did not go in this coming weekend and get the 3 new phones that I was planning on buying. They lost a lot of money for having such horrible customer service. Clearly they do not care at all about their customers or holding their employees accountable for what they tell customers. I had a horrible experience at another store 2 years ago and decided to give this store a shot. I sure wish I didn't. Obviously they are all the same.

When we got to the store, they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about, said they don't have those phones in stock and no one talk to us. Mistakes happen, but own up to your mistake. We talked to somebody for nine minutes, checking the color of the phone, space of the phone and giving our name to put it aside. In the store, when we tried to confirm the phone number(pulled up our recent call log) to make sure we didn't make a mistake- we were met with attitude, saying I don't know our stores number. How do you not know or aren't able to confirm your store phone? We went to our car because of the attitude we got. We pulled up our phone recent calls and called the exact same number while still at the store and it called OSWEGO AT&T store. They continued to not help saying they don't know if any other stores have it in stock , told us to just go to the Apple Store and. Rude, you helpful customer service. We went to the Plainfield location instead.

It's the service thats really lacking at those locations. That's why I opted to visit The Cellular Connection when it came time to renew my Verizon contract. Chris, the assistant manager, is a no-BS kind of guy. I got straight answers on why I should or shouldn't buy a particular phone, for example. Although I had my eye set on the top-of-the-line Galaxy Nexus, he encouraged me to check out a Droid RAZR, saying it probably fit my needs better than the current "flagship" device I was so antsy to buy. And after seeing them side-by-side, he was absolutely correct. There was no upsell to something I didn't want, no glossing over the phone's flaws -- just honest advice. He even allowed me to make test calls and play with it for as long as I liked; there was no Verizon demo software or tether, so I could try every last feature, feel how it slid into my pocket, and so on. Unlike the corporate VZW stores, Chris knew what he was talking about and I appreciated that. Even the discussion of rate plans and features was to-the-point and Chris was honest about what the best choice for me was. I wasn't forced into a 1500 minute plan or something with 5GB of tethering. Although my contract isn't up for a while, I'll definitely go back and buy yet another device from Chris and his staff.
