My husband and I went into this store with the goal of changing our current phone service to Verizon. What we experienced was nothing short of incompetence by the store employee Olivia S. First visit 12/7: 2.5 hours (had to order phones since they didn't have them in stock and open new accounts). We were told they would notify us when the phones arrived, but they never did. We called multiple times after waiting past the expected time and after the 3rd call, they informed us the phones has been there for 2 days. Second visit 12/14: 4.5 hours at the store and they were unable to connect the phone lines/set up service. Unable to give us an exact price on monthly bill. Asked us to return next day to complete process. (We had to leave for a vacation, so returned 12/28) Third visit 12/28: 2 hours- decided to cancel service and return unused phones. Charged $100 restocking fee. Fourth visit 12/31: Store did not properly close our account so had to return to close account to prevent any charges from occurring. Spoke with Vicki, the store manager. She was apathetic and unapologetic for the over 9 hours we spent at this store and the fact that we still incurred a re-stocking fee. Would never recommend this store and we are going to keep our four cellular lines with our current carrier- their cell service may not be the best, but their customer service is worth it after this nightmare. Had what could have been an a truly awful, horrific experience at the Verizon store tonight turn out far better than expected. I was one of those awful customers who chose to go into the store 10 minutes before closing thinking that I could buy a new phone in 5 minutes and be on my merry way. I was SO wrong. Because my phone was SO Superbly old and slow it took a VERY long time to transfer over photos and videos. Wonderful, sweet, genuine Bryan was easy/fun to talk with (a welcome change from the normal smarmy sales people I seem to encounter at cell phone places) and stayed at the store THREE WHOLE HOURS past closing time to make sure everything transferred correctly, the phone was wiped, and that I was able to trade in my old phone. I will absolutely keep my business at Verizon. While one of the more expensive carriers, I have consistent coverage, a great protection plan, and they hire professional angels like Bryan. We needed to switch to a new provider and chose Verizon because it is the best cell service for our area. The person we talked to said our monthly bill would be approximately $140 and when we got our bill it was actually $183. I called to clarify and the $140 was for just the first month, very misleading. We were also told we could get a rebate on one of our phones for "bringing our own device". We were denied because they applied for the wrong line, I called to clarify and the lady I talked to said she'd fix it. Just got notified we were denied again and gave no reason. read more

I have an iPhone. I have been paying insurance for any repairs for the last 18 months. My charging port stopped working and I was instructed to go to the nearest Verizon. I went to the GoWireless Verizon store in Poulsbo. The manager is Vicki. She essentially told me she couldn't help me and figure it out on my own. My other option was to call Verizon and file an insurance claim. She was totally unhelpful. I don't know why they have Verizon on their sign. A poor experience and I will not go back. read more

This place is crap and ran by an incompetent idiot. We are military veterans and residents of the state of Oregon. We went into this store to purchase the new iPhone X s Max. We were told by the team member that he could scan my valid state ID to wave the sales tax for the phone, because he did this yesterday for another Oregon resident....initially.....So he made a scan of my ID and sent it off to the "regional manager" for verification, while still helping complete the sale. The member then received a text message via his personal phone and he then said "the regional manager said he can wave the taxes IF YOU BUY A CASE AND A SCREEN PROTECTOR...." (Taxes for phone 100.00, case and screen protector 120.00) if we didn't buy the screen protector or the case, the manager refused service to us. The member then stated "our manager said it's an apple and Verizon rule..." we requested to see written documentation of this rule...and the member stated "I can show you the text from my manager but I don't have anything in writing..." I went online and searched for this "rule" on the Verizon main web page, the Apple main web page AND Go-wireless main site...guess what...I found...absolutely nothing...I did find something though...a regional manager idiot trying to take advantage of their failing business. Hind sight: As an Oregon resident, when I shop at target, Walmart or any department store in the state of Washington, the sales taxes are waved without an issue, because in the end, the state of Oregon takes out more taxes from my check than any other neighboring state (other than California). Hence "sales tax free state". Target, Walmart and the other department stores never make us buy extra items to wave sales tax...and we have been doing this now for years...without a single issue...for years....I have even purchased vehicles in Washington, where the sales taxes were waved...weird right? But there is a written rule...no... I emailed "customer service" regarding this matter...but they tried to argue the fact that I'm wrong for requesting a wave of sales tax and they have never heard of a neighboring state waving any sort of taxes for a resident of a "sale tax free state". They stated "I'll have to get back to you and speak to higher authority..."...here's the thing, it's not about the sales tax. I make enough money to purchase the new phone....it's more along the lines of principle and if they had a policy IN WRITING, I would have gladly complied, bought my phone, the case, and the screen protector....annnd I digress...go to a REAL VERIZON store people...this go-wireless crap is shady A.F.....don't get roped into something that is made up and false... read more

Not actually a Verizon dealer. They just sell Verizon phones but they honor none of the Verizon prices and deals. I drove to the actual Verizon store and got great customer service. This store is nice and has slot of selection but the fact that it says Verizon is misleading. read more

if it looks like a dog and barks like a dog: you'd expect it to be a dog! Not in the case of this store as unless you look really close, yo would think it was a Verizon Wireless Store! As the Verizon Brand Logo is is markedly bigger than the Go Wireless (the actual name of the store), and when you walk in the store you still think that you're in a Verizon Store as the color scheme and the employee uniforms look like what you'd expect to find at a real Verizon Store! Its not until you talk to a sales Representative and question prices that you're not in a real Verizon store! I saw a cool tablet that was on sale for $19.95 online and wanted to see it on person and the sales Representative had boxes but couldn't get one out nor did the price match the online price (they wanted the full retail price for the tablet up front and then wanted to send me a rebate for the difference! It was when I questioned him about the price difference that he offhandedly mentioned that Go Wireless was a premium retail store for Verizon and not an actual Verizon Store! I just want to tell you I had A+ service from the Verizon store in Poulsbo from a young man named "Mason". He showed me all the features on his Iphone10 and helped me get my data transferred and got me on my way with my new fabulous phone. I loved it when he showed me you could tell Siri to "Text mom and tell her I love her". This store was so nice to me. When I entered the door I was greeted and told someone would be right with me. Poor customer service of late; The salesperson sold me insurance that they said was a buy back program. If for any reason I didn't like my phone during the life of the contract, they would buy it back for 50.00. Turns out it's 130.00 for a phone replacement where I do not get a choice of phone. I'm trying to replace my Motorola Droid 4, which is the worst phone I've ever owned. The Go Wireless store said they don't sell that insurance any longer and said they could not help me. read more

Careful: Sales manager comes across as highly competent, but she uses deceptive sales practices, lies about activation charges. Ashley Dekam, District Manager Pulsbo/Bainbridge GoWireless office sold me a jetpack and made it a point to tell me that if I bought the jetpack, there would be no activation fee. I asked specifically about plans and all costs. When I got the bill, I found a $35 activation fee AND a $20 line charge ON TOP OF the quoted plan price. I tried to resolve the issue by contacting Ms. Dekam, she then lied outright and told me she had told me about the activation and line fees. read more

The people here are nice, but the location is way too small. They don have the latest iPhones on display and the older models they do have are locked in anti-theft enclosures so that you can just see the screens. Larger phones like the Samsung S5 or Note are in holders way to small for them. Many phones are fake so you can't judge the display or overall feel/weight of the phone. Some devices that are real, just don't turn on. I'd expect this in a ghetto, not this neighborhood. read more

Yes, this store is very small, and doesn't offer many of the features of the Silverdale store. However, the staff here is knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to do anything they can from their location. It's too bad Verizon doesn't realize they should invest in a bigger store here. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Chris. She was very helpful and friendly. She showed great enthusiasm and brought clarity to any confusion I had. She showed great customer relation. Do not go to this store! Since its sign is a huge "Verizon" logo we thought we were in a "Verizon" store. Today we learned there is a difference. This place has very few phones in stock and/or on display; the only iPhones on display were 7 & 7S. I overheard another customer being told the Android phone that she wanted was not in stock, either. On our first visit to this "Verizon" store, it took an hour to get an iPhone SE simply ordered for pick up in a few days (and that is without waiting in a line; we entered the store when it opened). Three days later, at store pickup; we were there over an hour; first waiting for our turn (we were second in line) and then processing our purchase. While checking out, the clerk tried to charge us for damage protection without first explaining it is optional. Then he discovered the wrong iPhone had arrived (this is an hour into this check-out process). We refused to pay the additional monthly payment for this size iPhone, and that was the only option offered to us; other than re-ordering the one we originally wanted and then returning a third time to this "Verizon" store. We were totally furious that this was the only option (other than an apology) offered to make us happy customers. We got a refund for the phone we had ordered and walked out. This "Verizon" store has horrible customer service and I cannot help but wonder if the wrong phone was not "accidentally" shipped so that we would just accept it and pay more money than we originally agreed.
