Today was my second time working with Brooklyn, and she has been amazing both times. I came in needing help with something that I thought was gonna be complicated and stressful, and she handled everything like magic and made the whole process feel easy. She like knows exactly what she's doing, I never have to over explain or give a bunch of background because she always just knows how to help. On top of that, she's literally hilarious (which is really great when you're on hold with customer service forever), she's patient, she obviously genuinely cares. After visiting two other Verizon stores with no luck, I finally went to the Verizon location on University Parkway in San Bernardino and was helped by Brooklyn Goodrich--and I'm so glad I did. My phone had been stuck in SOS mode for two days, leaving me unable to make or receive calls. Brooklyn didn't rush me or pass me off. Instead, Brooklyn stayed on the phone with Verizon tech support for over an hour, patiently working through the issue until it was fully resolved. This employee's persistence, professionalism, and genuine desire to help made all the difference. Customer service like this is rare, and Brooklyn truly went above and beyond. If you're having phone issues and want someone who will actually take the time to fix them, ask for Brooklyn. Simply outstanding. The five stars are for Brooklyn. This location was amazing! Carlos deserves a promotion as his customer service was superb. The first time I went in, Carlos helped me transfer a line from T Mobile to Verizon. It was a fast and an easy process. The second time I went in, I began switching other phone lines to Verizon. I was having trouble with an issue from T Mobile and he spent 6 hours trying to help me on the phone with T Mobile's tech support as they created issues with my phone number I transferred over. 5 stars hands down ! Arriving to the store there was definitely a wait but if you have patience and time to wait then your good . I had gotten my phone stolen earlier in the day before arriving to the store . I ended up buying a new phone and with that I was able to track the location of my phone that was stolen! The guys in the store helped me out majorly! Without them I wouldn't have been able to see the location of my stolen phone. With that being said, the cops were able to obtain my phone that was stolen! The workers were super friendly and definitely were invested in trying to help me find my stolen phone. I've always avoided authorized cell phone retailers like my life depended on it, choosing instead to go to a legit Verizon store. My experience here is a perfect example of why I avoid authorized retailers. Allow me to paint you a picture: My partner & I arrived Saturday afternoon at this place under the following circumstances: I have my own account with Verizon with one line, the 5GB plan (not unlimited) and an iPhone 11 Pro (not a 5G capable) that I bought about 6 months ago. My partner wanted to switch from T-Mobile and upgrade from her iPhone 7. She called and set an appointment to check her options and get a new iPhone 12 Mini. We arrive. After looking at her options and weighing them against opening a new line on my own account, and being repeatedly hard sold by the rep on the full size iPhone 12 (despite us telling him multiple times she wanted the mini) we/she decides to go with her own line under her own name. We probably had to tell the rep about 4 times that she did not want the full size iPhone 12, but he kept on asking and almost insisting. The fact that this guy would not leave it alone left a sour taste in our mouths right off the bat. If you're told 4 times that we don't want something you're trying to sell, do NOT ask me again. Anyway, one hour in, we get 90% through the transaction and upon the suggestion/pressure from the rep telling us it'll be cheaper if we put my partners line under my account (since I get a discount from work), we decide to pivot and put her phone, an iPhone 12 (5G capable) under my account. We asked the rep, and he even asked his manager who confirmed, that I could keep my phone and my plan, and simply add a new line to my account with the same 5GB limited plan and the new iPhone 12. So we begin this process. We run into an issue at one point because the system is not allowing her phone to be added. The rep fumbled around on the phone trying to figure out why it wasn't going through. Come to find out, you actually can NOT have a 5G capable phone on non-unlimited plan. In other words, if you have a 5G phone, you HAVE to have an unlimited plan, because the unlimited plans are the ones you need with a 5G phone. This meant that despite being told we could, we could not add the iPhone 12 with the cheaper 5GB plan. So we decide to make my partners plan the unlimited one. The rep proceeds to try to add the phone again with the unlimited plan. You guessed it... another issue. At this point we've been in the store for about an hour and a half. After making another phone call (no doubt to actual Verizon), the rep goes back and forth trying to figure out the problem. As it turns out, the rep was wrong again. You in fact can NOT add a new line with a 5G phone and an unlimited plan to an account with a non-unlimited plan; the plans have to match even though I don't have 5G phone and don't need an unlimited plan. So now, not only can my partner not get the plan she initially wanted and has to pay more than she wanted, now I have to as well. Let's recap- Rep was pushy and unprofessional, ignoring being told repeatedly we weren't interested in his upsells. Rep was wrong about using the non-unlimited 5GB plan with the iPhone 12. The the rep was wrong about adding a new line with the unlimited plan and an iPhone 12 while keeping the existing line on the account with a non-unlimited plan. At about 2 hours in, we're almost home, and I'm getting frustrated. To keep the review a reasonable length, I'll keep the rest of it brief: Along this whole process, he promised my partner a free case & a discounted pop socket then at the end proceeded to try and charge $60 dollars for an accessory bundle; the guy gave us a phone that he already opened and apparently already put a screen protector on it. Why? Because he was about to have the phone sold before, but the customer changed their mind last minute (wouldn't be surprised after having this experience at the store.) To boot, he tried getting smart with us & made it seem like he was doing us a favor by giving us the phone with a screen protector... give me a break. In addition, he had us reset & delete the old phone before the new one was fully set up- This meant my partner couldn't finish setup in store because she couldn't get her Two-Factor Authentication code. I think the rep sensed that we were fed up, and ended up throwing in some accessories at the end to try and salvage whatever he could from the dumpster fire that took place over the last 2 hours & 15 minutes. But wait there's more... He didn't even give me my receipt. I called them today, asked them to email it to me. The dude on the phone said no problem and he'd have the receipt sent within the hour. Two hours go by... nothing. So I call back again, get the same guy who apologizes and says they got busy & would send now. 6 hours later, nothing. This place is a joke, there's a a VW store right down the 210. Go there. read more

The guy lied about getting credit towards my daughter's new phone. He said if she traded in her current phone that we would get $350 towards the new phone, I got $45. He also discouraged me from going to a Verizon store, telling me there are none. I should've just looked into another place but I didn't. Oh well, lesson learned. I went in here to get a new phone, and left having to pay a lot of fees, didn't get a receipt.. the guys working here are liars. They said they would email it and never did I literally had to call Verizon and the store to get an actual receipt. Make sure if you go here to ask for a printed receipt. Also literally Got SCAMMED, I thought I was paying fees towards the activation and upgrade but no they charged me for things I didn't want. I went in today because I ordered a phone for pick up and was told I had to pay a different price then the $125, it would be $100 more and that I had to buy at least 2 accessories in order to get my phone and he also had to charge me for transferring all my information. I wanted to laugh in his face. I called Verizon and the guy told me that was wrong and to not buy anything from them. And he set me up with another order from another store. So my husband and I went in to get my son a phone and everything seemed to be going smooth. I was told my bill wouldn't change due to dropping a jetpack I had and modifying my plan a little. Come to find out it was all false. The man working that night screwed up my whole plan and my bill is WAY higher then it should be, he never stopped the backpack and removed my unlimited data. In a pinch to find a Verizon store nearby, we chose to go to this retailer to fulfill our wish of forever parting ways with Sprint, whose coverage and customer service left much to be desired. I think the sales lady we were working with may have been new. She did her best to try to help us out as we were short on time, but I don't think she was very clear with the pricing. Initially, she quoted us $20 a line a piece, plus 11 for insurance , plus some other costs to bring our joint monthly bill to about $120. We would just be paying for activation today. Cool. There was also a Samsung Galaxy 7 promotion that was going on, so we took advantage of this buy one, get one free deal. Cool. What's NOT cool? Not telling us what the "Go Advantage Premium Plus" charge was on our bill. $80 for each line. When we came back the next day to complete our transaction , the gentlemen present did their very best to get us completely transitioned, but we never did receive the clearest of explanations on exactly goadvantage plan was. We had been told that these glass screen protectors were being thrown in free by the sales lady who helped us the day before. we heard nothing about a special goadvantage plan being added to our invoice in order to get these free tempered glass screen protectors....(which have a retail value of $40 according to our invoice) As it was explained to us, it is a discount program to give you 20 or 25% off on accessories in your next phone. I didn't want a stupid discount plan! I just wanted to transition away from Sprint with an an updated phone. These gentlemen also told us there was nothing they could do to fix that charge and we would have to call the manager to ask him to refund it to us. I thought that was kind of low. Basically we were charged $160 for a discount program that we were never told about. Mind you, there are plenty of signs in the store talking about WHAT this plan offers, but there's no indication of it being required as part of activation thru GoWireless. Our buy one, get one free deal did not work out as planned either. The gentleman at the store helped us get that set up by going to a rebate website and typing in our identifying information to apply to our account. Although I appreciated the extra step, he didn't do it right after all. We had to call back in to confirm we purchased two phones so the discount could apply. We were told both by the retailer and by the customer service at the Rebate Center that either a check or gift card will be mailed to us for the price of one of the Galaxy phones. We are supposed to come in with that check or gift card to pay off the balance on one of the phones and that's how we get one free. In the meanwhile, we make monthly payments on both devices. I am a little nervous, we are expecting to receive it within 30 days now. All in all, I am a bit disappointed with my experience here. However, I would like to note that I was pleased with the fact that because this is not a busy location, there was no wait. And the gentleman there tried their best to help us transition smoothly from Sprint. read more

Went to this location to up grade a phone. Long story short was given a free tablet as well. Didn't ask for the tablet just gave it to us. Got home realized that they put us in a two yr contract on th Ed tablet. Put a new line on my account and charged all sorts of fees. Was told we could bring any product back within 14 days. Never disclosed there was a 70.00 restocking fee. When we went back several days later to take back I was told you should pay more attention to what you sign before you sign it. I told them I would have never left with these items had you disclosed everything . It's a scam so they can make a commission. I'll only go to Verizon Victra in Rialto, CA from now on. Go wireless and Victra are not Verizon stores only an authorized dealer. But Christopher, Jesse and Robert where very helpful in clearing up this mess which they didn't have to. Dwayne lied to me about what my bill was going to be and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE in the store would help me they treated me horrible, acting shady and telling me to just wait and I would see my bill was fixed. "Oh just wait until Friday" he said. NOT FIXED AND NOW WE WERE PASSED THE 14 DAY RETURN PERIOD AND MY BILL TWICE AS MUCH AS THAN WHAT HE SAID IT WOULD BE. Whatever you do, don't fall for the "unlimited screen replacement" spiel. Apparently they only keep the screens in stock for the newest phone models, so if your phone is about a year old you are pretty much SOL... don't waste your money. Was told everything was done once the purchase was over. Had to go back a week later and wait over 2 hours to get the actual problem fixed . On top of it I went to a different Verizon store and noticed that the payment on the iPhone XS that this location was around $45 a month, if you go to the actual Verizon store it's only $30 a month for the same exact phone, paying $15 more a month x 24 months = unnecessary over charging. read more
