Josh and Alex made me feel like a valued customer getting my smart phone on the Verizon network even though it was a present bought at another retailer. I was an old timer with a flip phone and needed tender care. The first trip to Verizon when I went to purchase my phone had gone smoothly. I had to wait a bit but that was alright. However, the employee assisting me was rude and direct, I thought she may just be having an off day. I had checked in to see if my phone had arrived the next week and was still confronted coldly. When I finally got my phone the set up was done incorrect by the same employee and I had to return to the store again. This time around I was helped by Brian c and Ryan who were awesome and helped solve all my issues. read more

Today I purchased a new phone for my daughter for Christmas! It always is a dreaded trip but today was a delight! I worked with a wonderful gentleman named Wesley! He was helpful, kind, knowledgeable and even got me into a new iPad for a very affordable price! He was extremely honest with me in regards to what my financial obligation would be the next month and each consecutive month after and explained in detail the the benefits of the dish! While I am not ready to make that decision today, I will definitely consider it! What a pleasure to shop at a store that actually offers great customer service. The staff were very friendly; and in particular, the store manager, Ryan, answered all my questions and concerns about the product I was interested in. I was quite confused about which features and plan would best suit my needs, and Ryan made some suggestions which were very helpful. I did not feel pressure to buy something I did not need. Though not one to take the time to write reviews, when I received exemplary service at this Verizon location, I wanted to share my experience. I Just purchased a new IPhone 6 ,which meant a succession of phone changes as I passed on my old phone down the line of kids, upgrading one to a smart phone and switching data, which is always an ordeal I dread. It's usually time wasted waiting in line after hearing "I will be right with you" and "it will be 5 more minutes" which in phone stores usually means an hour of looking at merchandise I don't need or want and afterwards coming out frustrated with a more expensive plan. But I had a surprising pleasant experience at this particular Verizon store. Yes, I did my share of waiting, but when it was my turn, I realized during the encounter that the wait was due more to the quality of attention that was received by each customer. As I watched the sales reps deal with the issues people had, I told my son they had to have the patience of Saints. And I was given as much, if not more attention, partly because the manager was apologetic about the wait time, but more so because I was given all options available to me. I was educated about my plan and provided with information about current programs to save me money. Juan was able to upgrade my son with a different and cheaper smart phone package when the phone we had purchased from a private party was not compatible with Verizon. He provided our family a better solution without all the built-in expenses I have had to bear in the past. He solved our problems, gave us considerable concessions (I usually go away with items or service I don't want or need), and offered options which actually saved us money per month and didn't effect our overall plan for a family of five. He waived phone fees and threw in complimentary accessories which was considerably more than he needed to do in our situation. He provided service above and beyond and I know I can come in any time and get honest answers without sales pressure and manipulation. Even my husband thought we ended up with a good deal, which is hard to achieve. Its my new go to phone store. read more

this is about internet and phone service provided by verizon wireless. 4 months ago i got verizon last 3 months i have not used, three months ago i disconnected. i am still being charged for a service there never was. means, just like verizon, i can invoice everyone up to any amount and expect payment and complain to credit reporting agencies if they dont pay for services not rendered. i think the govt should shut down verizon and save people from verizon's terror, and extortion. read more

I've done business with them before and had good service that i would probably rate about a 4. This last visit while upgrading my wife's phone to an iPhone 5.......let's just say I got suckered into a contract big time. Told me I could get a free (after rebate) Jet Pack that would run off of my data plan. They did NOT tell me that it would be a two year contract. I used this extra line for extra upgrades when needed and got screwed big time. I got the run around from corporate and could not get anybody to return my calls in regards to this. Finally had to file a formal complaint with Verizon. Larinda is the one who did NOT tell me about the two year contract and Matt was worthless in customer service. Verizon had their chance to take care of this and failed. Next time, I'll go with Virgin Mobile and no contracts of any kind, for almost a 1/3 of the price. Live and learn. Trust me, I give credit where credit is due. Too bad this rating can't go below 1 star. read more

I went in to upgrade my phone and I already knew what I wanted, the iphone six plus. NO problem there. However they talked me into taking a tablet that I told them, twice that I did not want. They said it would be "free" then tried to charge me fifty dollars for it, I said I really do not want this they "waved" the fifty dollar fee and gave me a rebate, on a tablet that I did not want. So i took it, there was a fee on my bill for it, I tried to return it and they told me there was a 75 dollar restocking fee. Verizon is a really awful company, I never ever should have resigned a contract with them. The manager was so condescending and unhelpful, at one point telling me how much my phone bill had been, it was 69 dollars i had the same plan for a really long time, not according to him according to him I was barley paying anymore my bill was 130.00 after taxes and I was still getting the tablet for "free." For Juan Sanchez , store manager, ten dollars a month is the same as "free" . The worst part about it was his attitude when I tried to return the tablet he actually said to me "your lucky I am letting you return it" Lucky? I did not feel lucky. It is frustrating to be lied to by someone in a sales position. We are all people. The last thing I want to do is argue with someone about something as pointless as how much my cell phone bill use to be, that is his way of doing damage control, arguing with me. As a visual aid for his self righteous argument he pulled up a screen filled with Verizon lingo listing the charges, turning it towards me and dramatically gesturing at the screen. How dare I argue with the Verizon screen! It was depressing because he was so dishonest and unethical. He should have taken the tablet back and "waved" the fee. I really did not want that thing and felt completely railroaded, he was the person who insisted I take it and "waved" the fifty dollar charge on the thing I did not want in the first place.Since this has happened I have come across two other people who wound up with tablets they were told were "free" from Verizon. read more
