He was extremely helpful, and extremely patient, because it took close to an hour to get everything sorted out with the Verizon customer service over the phone. David helped walk me through everything and was super friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure I was able to properly communicate with Verizon customer service over the phone. We checked in online to get in the store to talk to their sales rep. We were looking to switch our phone carrier to Verizon from AT&T. Because of COVID, they were now limiting the number of customers inside the store so checking-in was a must. When we got there, they checked how long the wait would be and they told us we were the next and a text msg would be sent when it's our turn. 5 hours past and we never received any text msg from them. I've heard many good things about Verizon and I really wanted to like them. Unfortunately I didn't get any chance to see if it's true. First, realize this is NOT a Verizon store. So, in our case, the representative at the store gave us a price several hundred dollars less than what our bill later reflected. When we called Verizon customer service, we were told they couldn't do anything and to take it up with the store. Coincidentally, while we were there another customer was in the store complaining the exact thing happened to him. The service at Victra was terrible and management is to blame. We went there 3 separate times and it took over 3 hours each time to complete the transactions and activate 2 phones. I could buy a house or a car in less time. The staff is inexperienced, and most of the time there is no management in the store. My advice, go to a Verizon Corporate location. Avoid Victra completely. If you decide to do business with Victra, insist all details are put in writing before you finalize the transaction. Lastly, purchase no accessories without checking prices on Amazon first. read more

Just had the best experience at Verizon. I have always used Verizon for phone services and not always had the best experience but I went in today looking to lower my monthly bill. Rafik was a huge help and explained everything and all fees that were going into the new plan and the change, so I wouldn't have any surprises when my next bill came around. He even pulled up a calculator and showed me the breakdown of the plan and was understanding and helpful in finding me the best and most efficient plan for not only me but my family. He also was able to get me an upgrade but still help me achieve my goal of lowering my monthly bill. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall great experience. I purchased my phone last year at the store. The staff is always been very knowledgeable and service has always been terrific. I was out running errands for Mother's Day weekend. I realized my water bottle in my bag was open and my phone was Soaked the screen starting to go dark. I walked in and was greeted immediately by David. I was extremely upset as new phones are very expensive. David put my phone in the machine that dries iPhone I was unaware of this new technology. He said it would be about a half an hour. When I came back to the store David turned on my phone and I was shocked it had turned on in the phone had been saved. The fee for the machine normally runs $35 but because of COVID-19 and Mother's Day weekend David waived the fee. I'm extremely grateful and saved me the cost of a new phone! Diana read more

I am surprised to see all the negative reviews here. Our experience was the total opposite. The guys working there, especially Dean were extremely helpful and went out of there way to teach us and transfer info from our old 6 plus to the new XS Max. along with the I-pad. In addition to linking it up to both our cars. I used to use Apple stores as the best in helping and teaching us and a few of the Verizon stores I went to were horrible. Dean and the rest of the crew provided the best service during and after the sale that I have ever experienced in the purchase of a phone. We sent my wife's Mother there and Dean was extremely patient with her in showing how to use her Samsung tablet with her phone. Just left this store. Rafik saved the day. My phone lost it's way this am. Black screen and green power light. That was it! A few minutes at the store and all was restored with a sort reset. This place is a joke. Nice people, but totally unacceptable service. Upon my first and only visit to this store to upgrade from an iphone 4 to an iphone 5, I was talked into (by the manager mind you) to pay $190 to drop the other line on my account, change my plan, etc etc. all things that promised to lower my bill from $113 to $60. 2 months later my bill is exactly the same and the other line is still on my account, even though Verizon processed my payment remove it 2 months ago. Over a week ago I called and spoke with this person and was told "I'm not sure what happened" I will look into this and have your account adjusted before your bill is due. 10 days later, my bill is still $113 and is due in 5 days. I put my trust in people when it comes to things like this that I know nothing about. I trust that if they work for the company, they obviously know more about it than I do, and when they tell me they can drop my bill, I trust them. I understand that mistakes happen, and things aren't always as easy as they should be but it should not take 2 months, and multiple follow ups with no returned calls, to get something like this taken care of. It is extremely frustrating that I have to check my bill every week and call the store every day to get Verizon to do what they say they will do. When my contract is up I will be dropping Verizon for good and running as fast as I can. I'm so over their "customer service". I'm not one to write negative reviews. I'm actually not one to write reviews at all but I thought if I could save someone else from the complete and total aggravation I've experienced, then it is worth it. read more

Came in here two weeks ago because I wasn't getting any calls, but was receiving text messages. The salesman helped us out and checked out my account to see what was going on. He determined that there wasn't anything wrong with my account, and that the bill had been paid on time so there was no issues there. Apparently Verizon was having an issue with its service and everyone with Verizon was having problems receiving calls for a couple days. So that was frustrating but I understand it wasn't the stores fault or anyone's fault really. The service was down for a whole day, which doesn't sound like much but when it comes to your phone and service that is a long time! Anyway the sales guy was helpful and assisted us with getting to the bottom of what was happening. I would come back to this store for assistance again if I found myself in the area. read more

About 2 weeks ago, my fiance and I came to this location to add her to my phone line. I was told by the manager Rafiq that I would receive a free iPad with cellular service and that due to promos that were added to my account, all I had to do was pay about $60 (tax on iPad) and then pay about $3 a month for the cellular service. I was extremely impressed at the deal of course. 2 weeks go by and I look at my upcoming bill and it is extremely high so I went to a different Verizon Victra location that was closer to my job. It was discovered that I actually was financing the iPad and my monthly payment was about $23 a month. I was pretty disappointed because I felt like this was snuck onto my bill as it was never explained to me that I was financing anything and I would not have bought it if that was the case. I even left this location without a full breakdown/explanation. Luckily I was able to return the iPad and I caught this before I was hit with a sneak attack on the bill. If you go to this location, make sure they go over exactly what they are doing to your bill while you are there! read more

Cellphone carriers... they're like arm pits: everyone has one and they all involve varying levels of hairiness. I was with AT&T since the dawn of the personal cell phone but my husband got a new job where AT&T sucked and all his colleagues had Verizon so we went to this shop to investigate the plans. I do a fair amount of research online and know my usage pretty well (RIP unlimited data days with AT&T and t-mobile) so alongside the regular call/txt details I knew we'd need about 2GB of data each. Salesman Corey was very knowledgeable and friendly. He listened to our situation - just the two of us, 2GB data each, husband wants new phone while I brought my own device and wanted to save my upgrade for when the new iPhone 6 came out - and made a game plan. He helped my husband upgrade to an iPhone 5 very easily and put my line on a month to month so I could save my upgrade until ready but we shared everything and had one bill - awesome. The not so awesome part was dealing with Verizon when we tried to involve my husband's 20% discount from his employer. My husband is British but had been in the US for over a year at this point with a working SS # and CA DL - all the things that should be easy for Verizon to verify but it wasn't.... like at all. I felt so bad for Corey... He had to take a copy of my husband's SS card and ID and run down the street to Kinko's to fax it to Verizon corporate (they wouldn't take email? wtf?) WITH HIS OWN MONEY (why doesn't this technology store have a fax?) and the first time, it was too dark... the 2nd time, it was too blurry... 45 minutes later and by the 3rd request from the crotchety old git on the other end of the fax I just said "Forget it!" and gave my well-established SS# to make myself the primary account holder... I felt so bad for Corey - he was trying so hard for us - and that 20% discount was something we wanted but we also wanted to move on with our Sunday so we just left it. A+ for Corey... super nice guy and new his stuff. A+ for Verizon's actual cell service - rarely do I have an issue these days. C for the very few parking spots in the lot and this location is on the busiest street in San Clemente so be prepared to park and walk. F for the owner of this store not equipping their employees with the tools to make the customer happy aka a fax machine IN-STORE. F for Verizon corporate being so ridiculously unreasonable about approving my husband's SS/CA DL so we could get our discount. Still 8 months later, we haven't been able to make him the primary account holder because of this stupid SS# standard. Its ridiculous. read more
