Hassan and Jack were great and went out of their way to help me out. I had been dealing with Verizon on the phone unsuccessfully for 3 days (for multiple hours each day) and finally went into the closest Verizon store. I was beyond at my wits end and while it was a difficult start, Hassan and Jack came through and stayed with me on the phone with Verizon corporate for over an hour (Verizon corporate had disconnected my phone and I was stuck in the store with no working phone and no way to navigate my way home). 4 stars instead of 5 because of Verizon itself, but a big thank you to Hassan and Jack. I had a lovely conversation with Ryan, Hassan, and Jacob, all were very helpful in helping me pick out exactly what I needed for my new business account. They are very busy and the wait can sometimes be long but very worth it! Even with a line of customers, everyone was checked in the queue and updated frequently on what was going on. Retail cost of accessories can be expensive, but honestly what isn't these days? The value is explained and discounts are available if eligible. + This is a REAL Verizon store! Stay away!!!! We stopped to add another line which never got activated !!! We were told that it takes a while so we left , and next day we left for vacation and passed 3 days line still not working. They are not direct verizon and they will charge you for SIM card activation and bunch of fees on top which direct Verizon would never done it. The lady had the longest nails I have ever seen and she was not able to put the SIM card on, after trying for long time she asked another agent to help. Interesting interaction at Verizon store today. Was going to upgrade my phone because Verizon is offering $1000 in trade if you get a 14 pro. Got it all set up online but decided to do it in person at this location because I was picking up some food anyways. The lady who helped me told me that in order to get the promotion, I had to get a screen protector and case also and whatever else. She says she can set me up for about $300 total. I know this is completely not true so I decided to just leave. She then doubles down on the lies by telling me to decide quickly because this promotion ends today. I just laugh to myself and say thank you as I leave. Did everything online and saved myself over $150 in "required accessories". Caution! Victra is an authorized dealer (not an official Verizon store), operates on commission and engages in questionable business practices. My time there for a phone upgrade and trade-in turned into a frustrating experience due to undisclosed fees, such as a $40 "set up and go smartphone service" per phone, alongside the standard $35 activation fee per line. Furthermore, they imposed a $17/month per line protection fee without obtaining consent. We went to Verizon at Serramonte to turn in our phones and our phone wasn't even entered into the system for trade in. Resulted in calling 611 to fix the problem which took over an hour. Hello, I want to give Kudos to your employee, Manuel. I had the pleasure of working with him on Sunday, June 26th. I came up to the store around 4:30-5pm. The doors were locked. I waited until a customer left, to ask if they were still open. Manuel had explained that they had to close due to lack of personnel. I asked if he could print a receipt for me. He gladly let me in & explained that depending if the purchase was made at a Verizon that was not part of the network, he may not be able to recover it. He continued on, and was able to recover the much needed receipt. I was so grateful that I burst into tears and asked to give him a side hug. The receipt was a much needed piece in the process of getting Apple to reset the Apple ID on my Moms phone- of which she was hacked, and was a victim of fraud. Although Manuel did not know or need to know the gravity of this situation - his excellent customer service practice provided me the relief of a deep burden. Please praise Manuel for his work ethic. I have not had a lot of great retail sales experiences since March of 2020...This is one of them. I want to say that you need to give credit where credit is due. I showed up at Verizon in Stonestown at 1100am on a Saturday morning, thinking I had an appointment that I booked it online. When I got there, I was instantly informed that all online appointments that were booked online were not being honored at that time. It was first come first serve. That was actually ok with me because I got to see how Branden, my sales rep handle things. He instantly started communicating with all customers on the sales floor and coordinated everything like a champ. From the begging, he was well-spoken, well organized, and did a great job outlining what would be a terrific sales experience. He explained all the details and walked me through what it would take to get to get me the Black Friday deal I was after. He did a great job with post-sale step-by-step instructions, to get the most of my purchase. He educated me on a lot of aspects of my new iPhone 13 pro as well as Verizon and currently where we are at with 5G as it relates to me moving forward with this phone and the technology. In the end, I got the phone I wanted, got all the rebates I wanted, got educated and, felt like I established a great customer/sales relationship with Branden at Victra Verizon Wireless in Stonestown. Branden is a great guy, knowledgeable and hardworking. I can see that he is passionate about bringing great customer service experiences to his buyers. They earned my business...I will be coming back to them in the future!!! read more

Here is my story. Hope u all stay away from that store. (Manny Cruz) and (Destiny Tetoff) took advantage of my new Verizon account (manny explained how a business account saves more money , so it peeked my interest so I went through with the process. After he told me that the internet will be 25.00$ per month turned out that I was getting charged 70$ total, and that I'll get a promotion on my Apple Watch and I never got my promotion. Manny Cruz also had passed me off to Destiny Tetoff and I purchased a phone a couple weeks later, and I noticed my bill jumped from 234$ too over 700$ and I texted Manny Cruz about the bill because I'm having Verizon internet issues and expensive payment cycles. I texted manny and he never replied I have photo proof of it. I contacted him 2 days straight, and he left me out and alone, I went to the store to get fixed and found he got fired for fraud, after he was fired , destiny Tetoff was also fired for fraud , so I express my concerns to Jack Miller and Dacey Carlson. The new management team and they dismissed me without help the told me that the former DM (Nick Diaz) is going to settle my account by sending me credits by check, or something of that nature and I waited 2 Months , and they still treated me less than what was valued. Now my bill is 500$ per month and I don't understand why they're treating me so bad. (Hassan Reeves) took the time to call customer service and give me a break down of how much my bill will be and he took the time to be patient with me and my mother very kindly, he's a very hard worker and very sweet. I asked if there was anything I can do cause I can't afford the bill and (Jack Miller ) and (Dacey Carlson) won't do anything too help with that , he got me a discount on my home internet, but Verizon as a company couldn't do anything about the cost of what I'm paying. Hassan was such a great help but he doesn't deserve to be treated the way he does. I noticed that he was alone working with multiple people and (Dacey was walking around and doing other things in the front of the store. Jack ignored me and didn't even say hi after he helped me last. But Hassan in the end checked on me periodically between each guest multiple times. I will be reporting this store and anything that comes behind it. Do not shop at this store. I REPEAT I got frauded and belittled. DO NOT shop there. Always a depressing experience. Never spent less than 90 minutes usually more. No number system? No one knows who is next. Two staff at prime times but one is usually just doing one task and can't help 95% of people in line. Clearly either cheap or stupid management or both. Jack M employee at Verizon 20th street completely scammed me and got all my services cancelled and lied about everything when I traded in my phone. I have lost all my services from verizon and my streaming services package. Jack M lied about: 1. Said he was transferring my current services to my new account. This was a lie. He said I was saving 40 a month but of course this is a big lie since i was not informed that I was losing my streaming package and my device protections and personal hotspot and disney bundle. I live far away from this store and I asked if I can return my trade in at Victra's store local to me. He looked up the address and said "yes, no problem, just bring it in after you transfer the info". This also was a lie. The company never allows this, which i found out after i called customer service. The store does not pick up their phone and the one time I did get a hold of them, the girl hung up on me after i explained the issue. This is not a Verizon store. It is a Victra store with a big Verizon sign in front. They appear to make money mainly on accessories, which cost double to triple the price of identical or same-spec things available at Walmart or on the internet. Buyer beware: although your invoice says you have 30 days to return the sale, if you go to the corporate web site return policy, there is a $35.00 restocking fee for EACH accessory purchased! Most of them cost around $40.00, so basically, no returns allowed. At least we can say the personnel we dealt with were polite and put a good deal of time into the sale. Our objections are mostly to what appear to be gouging Victra corporate policies. We will never go back to a Victra store. Ever. Update. We are ordering the same phone from Verizon and accessories of the same spec from Amazon. The Victra price is $220.00 higher. We understand, they have rent to pay and employees who need to live. Absolutely HORRIBLE. I sat in the store for 55 minutes WITHOUT being helped. When I arrived, the single guy in the store said that his coworker would arrive in 15 minutes. TLDR: This store will mislead/lie to you and not process things correctly. Go to a corporate store instead where they have more capability to help you with tricky account changes and can give you truthful information on how your account will look after making changes. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere and ideally to a corporate store if youre able. Im not sure whether or not this store has poor management/training of its employees or if they are intentionally misleading people and providing wrong information, but im still dealing with the headache of what this store did to my account. I saw a couple of promotions involving trade ins i wanted to take advantage of and did my research before going into the store to make the transaction. I asked the person (Jordan I believe) to run the numbers and see if i qualified for the promotions and if id be able to use my device dollars and he told me yes, and all the numbers looked as i expected. So, we ordered the devices, I paid what I needed to for the adjustments to my account, and I was told once I pick them up, we would process the trade ins and finish the transaction. When I go in to pick up the devices and finalize everything, I was helped by someone else who informed me that some of what Jordan told me was untrue and that I had to pay the amount of device dollars i planned to use as a down payment in order to finish the transaction, and that I could call corporate to apply the device dollars to my account, which isnt possible i learned. So I paid that and continued on with processing the trade ins and left with my new devices. I was told to wait a few billing cycles for the promos to reflect on my bill, so I waited. I just called corporate customer care earlier today to figure out why the adjustments havent been reflected on my account yet ~4months later, and come to find out they processed the trade ins incorrectly, SHOCKING! Now im waiting for an investigation of some sort into the exact promos i tried to get so that they can update my account to reflect what i thought this store was gonna do to my account. read more

Luckily I was able to remove it online but the associate that helped me is shady. I was charged for a screen protector I did not receive. The associate charged me $69.99 for a screen protector he thought was in stock. When he realized it wasn't, he offered another one which I found out is $30 cheaper! I trusted that this associate would've given me one of equal value since he didn't return the first one then recharge for the actual one in stock. Sneaky! Needed a SIM card We were told three times "$10" my sister went ahead and did it even though it's free at an actual Verizon store (we didn't realize this was just an "authorized retailer ". After it was in the bill was about $35. They said for installation charge. Why not say that up front ? They also immediately told us how awful our current plan was to up sale a plan. THIRD PARTY STORE NOT A REAL VERIZON. I came in to set up 4 new phone plans and they said they were having a promotion where each phone you trade in you get $200 credit with them. They gave us a wifi box that we said we didn't need but they said we can try it as a free trial for one month and if we didn't like it we can bring it back with no charge. The wifi was trash and barely worked so we tried returning it and they would let us return it in store because the store can't do it and said they would send us a shipping label to ship it to them but we never got it until a month later. We had to pay for that month. Even after returning the wifi box, they would still charge us for it in the bill. They would try to add a bunch of accessories to out cart and we proceeded to tell them we didn't need it but they said it was free. They said we pay for it now and they will give us back that credit in our next bill. They lied. Instead of getting credit back in our next bill we got a bill charging us wayy more than they said we would be getting. And they still charge us for the wifi box. DO NOT GO HERE! Jacob took advantage of my elder father who just needed a replacement iPhone but totally upsold him. He offered him a "free" Galaxy tablet with "free" cell service for 36 months. My Dad messaged me while he was in the store and it smelled fishy to me so facetimed him. I spoke with Jacob and he assured me that the tablet was completely free and that the cell service would be free as well. He said you'll see a $20 bill for the service but will also see a $20 credit for it and the only thing I'd pay for was the activation fee. He also said that after 36 months I could cancel the service and keep the tablet. I checked my bill this morning and saw that I was being charged for both the tablet and service. I talked to Jacob on facetime and he just looked me in the eyes and lied. He also didn't tell my father that the iPhone SE he was picking up was going to be financed instead of being paid for up front. Jacob also added the following items, USB Charger for $39.99, phone case for $44.99, "set up and go service" for the phone $29.99, "set up and go service" for the tablet for $19.99, and a screen protector for $64.99. A SCREEN PROTECTOR FOR $64.99? Are you kidding me? They're literally $2 on Amazon. My dad is retired and on a fixed income. I had gotten my phone stolen over the weekend and headed to Verizon to check my options. Although the wait was quite long, I was helped by Manny who was determined to solve the issue I had. My account had some difficulty activating the new phone I was purchasing, but Manny helped me over the course of two days to make sure I was able to walk out of the store with a working iPhone with the best deal as possible. I am grateful for his determination and persistence, because it was quite a rollercoaster we had gone through. All I have to say is that patience is a virtue and you cannot rush successful results. Please be nice to the people who are helping you because over the 10 hours I spent sitting in the store, I saw and overheard some really rude/impatient customers and I assure you none of those employees deserve it. read more

Some of the representatives at this store provided horrible customer service, processed add-on products without authorization, and mislead the customer without taking any accountability for the mistakes they've made. Came here a few weeks ago and spoke with two representatives for the promotion that they claimed that any unlimited plans work for the trade-in promotion. Because of hearing this and not needing to change the current plan, I decided to go ahead and get this one at this store. Before walking out of the store, I was confirmed that when I come in to pick up my phone. Whoever is assisting me will know what to do and I have nothing to worry about. On 6/18/22- walked into the store to process the phone and came in prepared to trade in the phone for the promotion. The rep kept asking me if I wanted any protection and add-on which I kindly declined because I didn't need them. During the "activation process", not once was the rep ask me to provide my phone to them. So I got confused if this was something different bc with every trade-in that I'd done in the past. I always provide my old phone and they will give me the new one. When the process was finished, I asked the rep again if I was getting the trade-in promotion deal for the value of up to $800 for the phone because I was confused as to why he didn't ask me for my phone. He said yes and still didn't ask me for my phone. So I walked out of the store thinking that this must be a different process since I even asked for clarification from the rep. However, on 6/28. I found out that there was protection charged under my plan and an add-on which I declined on the day of pickup on my current and upcoming bill. Also, there was no promotion in place for the phone. I went to the store to talk to the same rep who assisted the process and the manager for clarification on why it wasn't processed correctly. I was offered a discount toward anything in the store, and I declined because all I wanted was an explanation as to why it was added on in the first place that I now have to pay for because they can't credit me back. Instead of taking ownership, they keep throwing it back to me and kept asking the question " so what do you want out of this?" " What is the solution here?" " who is at fault for this?"This could've been resolved if the rep just own up to it and double-check that it won't be debited any longer, and It would've been fixed. However, the rep kept saying it wasn't my fault and it was the other rep (with name provided) that processed the order. After that, I was bombarded with more info on the promotion that I didn't get because the rep assume that the customer knows what their trade-in procedure should be and that I should just hand them the phone when not once was I asked to provide it during the activation process. They keep asking me if I handed the phone to them and I said no. Then they said, "whose fault is that?" But they are still not listening to the part where I asked if it was a trade-in and not once during the process I was asked to provide my phone even after I ask to clarify. So who fault is that if the customer even asked the rep about this and they said yes? The rep kept asking me if I have a receipt and did I trade in the phone. I do not know how many times I have to repeat myself that I don't have the receipt and didn't provide them the phone because I was never asked throughout the whole process even when I confirmed it with the rep before I walk out of the store. Also, they kept asking me about when did I process this and when did I do this as if there is no records of what was done. I can't believe the unethical practice in this store where they are being very dishonest about the process and assume that the customer should know how the overall process works. Instead of just simply saying, hey what you can do is bring the old phone back and we'll be glad to reprocess this correctly. I was attacked and blamed for the unethical business practice that I wasn't familiar with and kept being asked whose fault was. Furthermore, this could've been resolved in a well-handled manner if these reps just simply acknowledge that it was possibly a mistake and apologize. But they went on full defensive mode when they are working in a sales and customer support business. Throwing each other under the bus and finger-pointing at who is at fault is not a nice look for the company. Think twice before getting any service done here, as it seems like they have no records of what was done, it felt very misleading and the resolution you will get is the blaming game of "whose fault is that". read more

Can I give them minus five stars? I went in there two weeks ago to get wireless home phone service. After waiting forty-five minutes I was helped by Manuel. He lied then he lied again. He quoted a price of $24 per month (including tax and fees) and a one time $35 set up. I agreed and left the store. I set it up and it worked fine. Two days later I went on the My Verizon app and saw that my next bill would be way more than quoted. I returned a day later and spoke to him again, and went over the numbers again. He said he would adjust it and that he would text me in a couple of days. No text and no change in the projected bill. Ten days later I returned to the store and waited over an hour for the Manager. He confirmed the same charges again and said it was more because it was pro-rated for the partial month. The bill was posted on line and both the one time charges and the monthly were way high. I wasn't going to the store again, so I called Verizon and waited for a supervisor. She couldn't be nicer and adjusted the one time charges but said that I was misquoted. Here's the moral of the story. Stonestown is not a Corporate Store. They're a franchise. Moreover they always have employees in training that know nothing. ONLY GO TO A CORPORATE STORE! The closest one would be in Serramonte. Stay clear of Stonestown if you don't want to be cheated. read more

The experience of going in store was SO PAINFUL. I have to call out how long it took to sign up for a new phone. When we did get this done, it was for the wrong phone number since the rep displaced two numbers. She also added all these services to our plan such as phone protection which was crazy expensive. Definitely look out for these charges on your phone. When I brought back my phone, it looks like it also didn't credit my account correctly and was charging me monthly for my device even though we had traded in our phones for new phones. I really wish there was something positive I could say. I am empathetic toward sales people and sales people at the mall but c'mon please be competent. I came in to open up a new line with a friend and get the iPhone 12, since if you open up a new line, you can get the iPhone 12 for free. He immediately tried pushing to instead choose for a google pixel instead, since that would also qualify for being free as well. I declined, and still requested for the 12. While I did not mind his recommendation, I did not appreciate what came after. He then went in the back to get the iPhone 12, taking about 15 minutes to search. He then came out saying that all iPhone 12's were sold out, and that there were only pixels left. I said something along the lines that if that was the case, then I was fine, and would not be making a purchase today. He then said something along the lines to give him a second, and he would check again for the iPhone 12. Not even 3 minutes had passed when he came out carrying the iPhone 12. He mentioned to me that I was lucky, that someone had cancelled the order for this iPhone 12, allowing me to purchase it. While I do not mind recommendations for different products, I do not appreciate being lied to. The reasons for the accusation that he lied to me are : 1) The iPhone 12 is not that in demand anymore, so there would be no reason for it to be out of stock 2) After I said that I would leave, he immediately came back with the iPhone 12, with his excuse that someone had cancelled the order for it. With that, should I be led to believe that someone had cancelled the order for an iPhone 12 in the span that he was checking for it? Despite these issues, I had what I came for, to get the iPhone 12. This is where more issues arose. He then asked me if I would want a screen protector and case, basically an accessory bundle. I said yes, and he went to retrieve the pair. After only retrieving the screen protector(he mentioned that there were no cases available), he immediately went to open everything and apply the screen protector to the phone, WITHOUT MENTIONING how much the costs for the screen protector and everything else would be. I then asked what the overall cost would be, and he said about $205. I found out that the screen protector that he applied was $70 and he also went and applied a warranty worth $35 on the screen protector. As he was applying the items to the phone, I thought it was to late for me to decline the screen protector, since it was already applied. While I purchased these items, I did not appreciate how he neglected to mention the costs for them, all the while adding things such as an expensive warranty to an already expensive screen protector without my discretion and immediately opening the items to apply to the phone without explaining the costs. On a side note, I would not recommend buying screen protectors or cases from this store, as you can get them cheaper online or at a Target, and they are more upfront with their prices. With that, if you are being helped by someone named Tamim in this store, I would recommend asking for another associate to help you due to the fact that he would: 1) Pester and lie to you to get you to purchase another phone (possibly due to commission) 2) Apply heavily expensive items and charges to your bill, all the while barely mentioning them, speeding through to just have you complete the purchase *I also found out that this is a third party retailer. With that, I would recommend going to an actual Verizon, such as the one in Serramonte instead. At least there you would get actual customer service. read more

I went to this location despite the bad review because I just needed to get my phone serviced asap. And years back, I opened my phone here and had pleasant experiences; the representative went above and beyond to find the optimal plan for me and my family by letting me know about different promotions going on at the time. However, this time, I wanted to see what options are there to replace my stolen phone. The representative's first reaction was, there was not much to do, which I understand because I did my search online before going into the store. Then I asked her to show more of financing plans and there was only a buying the entire device options. So I asked different questions to see if there are any other ways that works for my budget (i.e. device payment plan, refurbished phones, buying a used one). I have paid off the device and have been with Verizon for a long time. By exploring different options, there was a way to qualify for a free phone with opening a new line and stay on it for 3 years.
