I love this store. Greeted quickly and the wait time was less than 10 minutes. I've been with Verizon since its inception. This time, I got a fantastic guy named Jason Riley. He's literally the best. All these years, I've never had better customer service. He offered to look at my service and noticed I have been paying too much. He fixed that and saved me about 30$ a month, and that's a big savings on a fixed budget as a single mom. I also upgraded my android to the iPhone 6plus. They had a special for 100$ off. But it seemed they didn't have the gold which was on special, in stock. He went to searching in the back and found me one. He went above and beyond to help me. Can't thank him enough. I was in the area and wanted to switch from AT&T to Verizon and get a new phone. When I entered the store, a female representative took my name down within minutes and while I was waiting, an assistant manager approached me to chat me up about the devices, accessories and options available. I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted, so I politely refused, but the gesture was appreciated. There were about 6 other customers milling about or talking to customer service at the time. Within about 5 minutes or so, my name popped up on the top of the wait list. Ultimately, a female representative named Xuan helped me out and she was awesome. She could carry on polite conversation while processing my information and took the initiative to inquire about where I worked and searched out the company discount for me. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes total and I walked out with my new phone, new plan (along with a new discount thanks to Xuan) and a big ol' smile on my face. Later that afternoon I came back with some documentation (they needed my paystub to verify the company discount) and was greeted by two representatives, one of whom immediately took me over to a terminal to process the paperwork. Five minutes or so later, I was set with the discount and the representative even answered some additional questions about how to set up a hotspot with my new phone and set the password. I needed to upgrade phones for 2 lines on my business account. I had previously visited a non-corporate Verizon retailer who didn't seem to have access to all of our account information which made it difficult. So I called this corporate location and spoke to Iain Montrose who coincidentally was also a business consultant. This was great news as our designated business account manager was impossible to get ahold of. I came to the store and Iain got right to it showing me the features of the phones I was interested in. We got the proper accessories and then began to review our plan. My line was connected to an unlimited data plan which Verizon and all other cell providers are trying to get rid of. He showed me how little data I actually use and how much I was paying for and suggested a share plan that gave us twice the data usage our business group uses while still saving about $200/mo. He helped me get all my info transferred from the old phone to the new and offered me a great credit for trading in my old junker phone. By the end of it, he patiently dedicated about 2-3 hours of his time to walking me through all of the different options and answering all the questions I had to my satisfaction. I left with 2 new phones and accessories to match and few other goodies for my rideshare business and received a follow up e-mail with a few hours thanking me for my business and making sure everything was up and running. Thank you to Iain and manager Tina for a great experience. I've been dealing with Verizon for many years now and this was by far the best experience yet. I've had some horrible experiences with the salespeople at the Cupertino Verizon store so this one has been such a breath of fresh air. Adding my fiance onto our family plan was very quick and painless last year, and this past week I discovered that my phone had a defective charging port. They were quick, friendly, and overnighted a new phone to me immediately after making sure it was in fact my phone, not my charger, that was broken. Individual salespeople obviously have unique personalities, but I've had consistently excellent service at this location, whereas I've had consistently terrible service at the Cupertino one. read more

Scott is AWESOME! 1st trip to Verizon BH- We left after an employee told us we had a pending order due the next day, but he told us he couldn't see and it and didn't know what it was. Disappointed. 2nd trip- Much better! Scott helped us understand how switching to smart phones would affect us. He did 3 different things for us: Changed my husband from one acct to another. He then switched our plan from individual data plans to a shared data plan. Then he upgraded us to smart phones. We all felt better after we understood how the billing worked. JUSTIN was awesome. it's never an easy, fast or simple process to switch carriers and get new devices, but we did, with Justin's help and it didn't take that long near the lunch hour on a Saturday. Justin asked enough questions to know what products we needed (not necessarily the most expensive in all cases) and recommended accessories that we found helpful. I walked in to be put in queue with a 15-20 min. wait time. It was 40-45 minutes. After the wait time I was turned away from being helped because they said they could not deal with my account since I had a family member that worked for Verizon. This was WRONG information! Great service from Zenas! Place was really crowded when we went in, but within 5 minutes, Zenas was able to help my wife and I upgrade our phones and add a line. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly, in addition, he wasn't overly aggressive in pushing unnecessary products or services. I just want to say that the service I received from the team at this Verizon was top notch. I was so impressed how they greeted us, help me with phone exchanges, and looked at my service plan and give me a better offering then what I had. Laura helped me and brought my monthly service down while upgrading and ensuring that I had the best plan. After Christmas I had to take care of a few things. I was greeted and they set my expectations on how long we could be. It was pretty much about a 35 minute wait but they were super busy and they got to us best they could. Everyone was SUPER helpful and they took care of our phones quickly. The Manager Michael was AWESOME!! He helped us with a little glitch and took good care of me. SCAM! WORST INSURANCE EVER!!! I bought the Asurion 3rd party insurance that Verizon is selling because I figured that a teenager's phone is bound to get a cracked screen, lost or stolen. The insurance is $11 a month. I've been paying that for the last 2 years. Low and behold, Katie finally cracked her screen last week. So, I figure it's great to have insurance. Well, that is until you call them and try to get your screen fixed. They said that they don't have techs in San Jose that can fix an iPhone screen. So, they want a $199 deductible to send me a new phone (refurbished probably), when I can take it to Apple for only $129. If I would have gotten the Apple insurance, they would have fixed it for $29. I FEEL SCAMMED!!! So, you mean to tell me that this crap company, Asurion, that Verizon is in bed with, doesn't have a tech partner that can fix a cracked screen in a city with over 1M people. And Silicon Valley no less!!! Verizon, you should be ashamed of yourself! I canceled my insurance, and will probably cancel Verizon service when my contract is up. Especially, since the commercial, "can you hear me now" doesn't necessarily drop your call, they just send your call strait to voicemail until their networks free up. I learned my lesson... Only buy an OEM warranty. The 3rd parties take advantage of you when you try to collect on an honest claim! Ok I was going to write a one star review, seriously. But Akasha (Verizon Rep) saved the day! So get this. I let the "expert" here Francisco, know that there is an issue with a JetPack device that just eats up data for no reason, when you turn it on. Without anything connected to the MiFi unit. He asked me if the device was registered to the Verizon acct. I told him yes they both are. (IPad Mini and Jetpack) and that I switch the sim depending on which one I need to use. He informs me that I can't do that and it's Fraud! Fraud?!? You know about both devices! They are on my acct! What the heck man! Did you just accuse the customer of fraud? Do he says no I know that's not what your doing but you can't have an unregistered device using the data. Ok...I'm sorry are you asleep? I just told you it's registered to my Verizon acct! Then he goes back to the fraud thing. I told him that's not what I'm doing so he tells me "it's just an example sir, it's just an example" what the heck man?!? You have no idea what customer service is! So I'm pretty pissed at this point and want to walk out. But I need to switch my plan to this unlimited plan that was just announced as well so I still need their help. The guy puts me in the cue to be seen. So I wait and wait (which is common in this store) Then this other employee helps me out and sympathizes with my situation. She doesn't solve the overage data problem but she calms me down and makes me feel better about it. I graciously said thank you. She then goes over the unlimited plan gives me all the details even tells me when o get throttled which was awesome of her to know so much about her product. She finally switches me over and sells me a new MiFi device that works like a champ!she was the saving grace for this store! I think the other guy was a supervisor, and had no idea how to treat a customer...well I take that back. He knew how to treat a customer badly. I will never get back the two weeks I wasted waiting in line, but thank God there are other Verizon stores close or else I'd switch back to sprint. Verizon rep told me there was nothing I could do to downgrade my new iPhone to the smaller version. I bought my phone 3 weeks ago, but didn't activate it until 2 days ago and the rep told me the 14 day return policy couldn't be waived. I called the 1-800 number for Verizon and they authorized an exchange in less than 10 minutes. I was told by the customer service specialist that the Verizon rep in the store could've easily done the same, but chose not to. read more

I was greeted by a woman with a tablet (everyone is walking around with tablets for some reason) who asked me what i was coming in for. I described what the issues were in some detail. She replied "So you're looking to upgrade?". I repeated a couple of other inquiries that i had mentioned and she took my name and said someone would help me. I walked around and looked at phones for a few minutes..then 30 minutes passed..finally some young and clueless guy came up to me. I repeated the issues I was having with my phone and he told me that I'd need to get an upgrade. I said o.k. that's fine, and he asked for my phone number I gave him my phone number, he typed it into the tablet and then said "you can't get an upgrade for another two months" I stated I'd be willing to get a new two year contract (I've been with verizon for ~10 yrs) and that I'd like to upgrade today if there was any possibility given that my phone wasn't virtually non-functional. He repeated my "eligibility date." I think that making me wait 2 months with an ailing phone when i'm willing to sign a 2-yr contract is BAD customer service, esp. considering ive been with them so long. But i can accept a bright line policy. But WHY did I have to wait 30 mins to be told that? The first woman took my phone number too. She asked if i wanted an upgrade, i said yeah. i don't understand why there are bad reviews about this place. i come here very often, and I'm always greeted right when i first enter the store. They ask me what i need, and assist me by signing in. The wait is ussually long but its no surprise, people just need help just like i do. impatient people need to learn to wait your turn! i don't mind waiting at all, because i understand there are a lot of other customers waiting as i am. I realized (when i got home and they were closed) that i had left my sd card in my previous phone. I have been a Verizon customer for well over 10 years. I have always told family and friends that I am a loyal customer because I've had nothing but good experiences. Well that has changed thanks to the Blossom Hill location and a scam artist named Ian. I went in to upgrade my iphone. I was told because I'm such a loyal customer I can get this jet pack thing for free and it won't cost me anything extra. I specifically told IAN that I cannot afford additional costs on my bill. He assured me my bill would stay the same. This guy was very charming, friendly and funny. He made our 3 hour visit quite entertaining. I almost called after my visit to tell the manager how much I liked this guy Ian and how helpful he was despite the fact that the whole process took 3 hours. Well fast forward to checking my bill and not only am I paying for this jet pack (that I didn't need or want in the first place) but I am in a 2 year contract for it!! Mr. Ian did not mention a contract AT ALL!!!!. Obviously I signed for it but come on, they do not make their contracts easy to read. They are LONG and in tiny print. I guarantee no one reads them. You trust that you are being told the truth. Well thanks Ian for the lesson learned. You are disgusting and when karma bites you in the ass I hope you think of all the customers you did wrong. It's very interesting that there are several other reviews like mine mentioning that they tell you one thing then bill you another. DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU ARE BEING TOLD!!! Went here to get phone and basically got screwed. The salesman lied and offered everything in the book to get me to buy. Found out later everything told and promised was never done. Don't trust them about the products or their knowledge of anything new coming. They are going to lie to you to buy. Tried to work things out with their Manager, Arturo, who was responsive but in the end blame you for buying. He will basically lie to you about everything and will try to get more money out of you. I told him that i like to work it out before writing my review or contacting the corporate office. He basically did not care and said it's your prerogative. Do you believe a Manager or store when they tell you, "we have no idea of any new products or device until 1 week before we get it...". Anyway, make long story short I contacted corporate and even they chuckled at his response. They right everything wrong and gave me a new phone that I wanted. They looked at my records of fixing the store mistakes and did not questioned or blame me. They knew what was going on and said that the store only cared about the sale and not the customer. Verizon cell service has been great and the corporate customer service is exceptional. To bad for these jokers that they are ruining a good Brand. Sadly, based upon my experience today and some of the other Yelp reviews, this place is still dysfunctional. I wrote the review below nearly three years ago and guess what? Nothing has changed. I went in today after being told at a non-corporate Verizon store that this place was the only place that could help me. Based on my previous negative experiences there, I had a bad feeling but decided that maybe they have upped their game a bit. Ummmm, not so much really. In fact, it might be worse. The counter person was rude and condescending. I merely needed either a new battery or a repair. They offered neither and showed little interest in finding out what was wrong with my phone. They were very interested in selling me a new one. I think the clerk feels that by talking down to the customers and not telling the truth about a phone that they can sell more and up their commissions. ================================Previous review from 2010 Avoid this place. While they are friendly and greet you at the door, their service after that is for the dogs. There is typically a very long wait and when you do get served, you better know what you are doing because they will try to sell you a bunch of extras at inflated prices. Most of the stuff you can get cheaper at Fry's. My experience there was frustrating as after a great deal of mis-communication, the service rep refused to take any responsibility for the poor service. oh verizon, you are not my friend. granted, part of my complaint is with the company itself. i don't have an issue with the employees here, who have always been friendly and professional. one of my clients always has issues with her phone, and we are here relatively often. you are greeted by a clipboard-wielding individual, they will take your name down if you want to see an employee, which is the main reason you come here. you can also peruse the phones, but you can do that elsewhere, this is the corporate store, where you can put your serious complaints to the correct individuals. the wait might be 10 minutes, but generally we've had to wait closer to half an hour, and this has been in the middle of a weekday. god help us if we were to come on a weekend. there's various overpriced accessories to buy here, like vera bradley and ed hardy iphone covers and bluetooth headsets helpfully rated on the box for levels of phone capabilities. i do appreciate the few seats hidden in a corner for your long wait for a customer service rep. my client had switched from a family plan to the $100 unlimited plan a while ago, but we realized she would save money if we went to the $50 a month unlimited prepay plan. unlimited text and calls, not unlimited internet, that's extra. we had to buy a new phone to switch to prepay, which is silly, because any of their phones would work fine, but whatever. they only have maybe 4 or 5 options for the prepay plan, the cheapest one is about $100, which you could buy for $10 at a metro or boost store. the next level of phone with a slide-up screen and querty keyboard is the same price. there are a few nicer phones for $150-200 i believe. nothing smart phone level. the prepaid phones come with i think $10 in pre-loaded money. the guy who helped us when her phone broke suggested that if we wanted a cheaper phone, we should go on amazon.com and buy a used one. thanks dude. real helpful (eye roll). we ended up going to target and buying a prepaid verizon phone for way cheaper. why they can't sell those in their corporate stores is beyond me. the other main complaint i have is that they keep messing up her billing. the way the prepaid plan works is that it's $50 a month unlimited, but if you have less than that on the account, they take out money by the minute or the text until you run out, and your service is then shut off. that would be fine if we were short on cash and couldn't pay the $50, but that's not what we want. somehow, my client's phone has been shut off several times for having under $50 in it, but this is not due to her going online or buying ring tones, as the verizon employees have conjectured. it's been due to verizon taking out the automatic payment on the wrong day! each time we go in, they've told us we haven't got auto pay set up, but we do! they've suggested moving the auto pay date up, so we have, but that's caused additional shut-offs. i'm pretty much to the point that i think we should just change phone companies. read more

a late review, but i definitely got superb service from Alex towards the end of 2013. Couldn't have asked for a better associate to help me pick and choose my future phone. he was knowledgeable of the different potential devices, which helped me make my final decision. the whole experience buying a phone at this Verizon was great, considering how efficient Alex was (if you guys didn't know, i LOVE efficiency). The service rep signed me up for the 24 month plan on the iPad and the iPhone protection without asking or consulting us at all. I returned the iPad and had to pay for restocking fee. Believe it or not I love verizon as carrier. I've had great luck in the cupertino store and have also used this store successfully in the past. But Sunday was a customer service fail. I wanted to upgrade my phone to a specific model after doing a lot of research. The customer service rep at this store within ten minutes managed to a. Try and upsell me in an annoying way even when I kept saying why I wanted the model b. Showed me the wrong model while talking about the model I wanted c. Was condescending and uninterested once I refused the upsell d. Didn't know that more than one memory option was available for the model. I'm in customer service as a career and I was ticked off with this guy. If you look at my reviews you'll see that I don't rate this low very often. But this was ridiculous. He was arguing and didn't give the customer a chance to say much.He then turned around and told me that he would do it if was nice and patient about it. We just switched to Verizon and the manager was very helpful. He went out of his way to get us our plans and helped us through the whole process. Since we just switched all three of us got the I phone 7 plus, it also came with a case, extra battery/portable chargers and screen protectors. They ran out of screen protectors so the manager personally got them from another Verizon store. We went to pick them up the day after as he left them under our names for us but we stood there FOREVER while the other associates stood there waiting on their other customers. I mean, he was standing there not doing anything while his customer was on the phone.. he could have easily handed us our stuff and we would have been on the way... horrible customer service on his part.. thus the two stars. read more

My phone was dead and I wanted help with replacing it. I was greeted by the check in clerk just outside the door, telling me to call the phone number for my insurance provider. That they would help me replace my phone. I looked down at my hand holding the dead phone and looked at at him. I asked him again if they could help me place the call to which he replied I was better off going home and calling on my own. I left, with a dead phone shaking my head. This use to be my go to Verizon store. They were always very attentive. Last time I needed to replace my phone they happily dialed the number for me. Won't go back.
