Let's start with bad: You need an appointment. Call ahead, make an appointment. Or wait 30 minutes, minimum on a good day. It's slightly ridicules considering how much Verizon costs, but that's really not the employees' fault at all. It's the holidays and there are a TON of people! Good: I went in today, already very upset. (Had a very stressful day where everything possible went wrong). The manager was very nice, considering I, frankly, was not (again, stressed and the end of a terrible day. Sorry!). The guy to helped me was knowledgeable, answered the dozen plus random questions I had after he fixed the initial problem, and was very nice overall. He even got my an Advil to help with my someone-is-pounding-a-hammer-into-my-head headache. For the ratings: the store is not "as good as it gets", so they didn't get 5 stars, but as long as you know going in there that you need to make an appointment and be prepared, they were definitely professional and helpful. Would recommend them - with an appointment! read more

I have been to this particular Verizon store 3 times and they have NEVER been able to assist me. The employees are rude and must work on commission because they are super pushy and don't listen to your needs, they just push whatever they are supposed to sell. The managers always tell you their hands are tied so if that's the case, what's the point of having managers!? Every time I'm in this particular store I consider switching carriers. HORRIBLE, don't waste your time trying to get help. Call the customer service as usually over the phone help is better and they can over ride stuff. read more

The worst customer service , they lie and take your money. What a rip off all cell phone company's are.

I went to this store to get my phone fixed when I was told it was going to take 3 days I decided to purchase a new phone " oh what a mistake that was" it took them more than 5 hours to set up the phone they also lost half of my data and my emails! They are under trained! worst of it all they don't even care.... read more

I went into this store on 11/2/15 to pick up an order. Because my SS# was incorrectly entered into Verizons system, I had to show my drivers license in order to pick up my new phone. I was helped (not really) buy someone I was told was Shay. Who ever the person was, he was the most rude piece of garbage I've had the displeasure to deal with in a long time. He didn't believe my ID was authentic and told my I had to bring in a copy of my SS card so that he could scan my ID's to the corporate office. He treated me like I was some criminal and he refused to help me further. I've been a customer with Verizon for 12 years. I called the corporate office and was told the person was actually named Blaine. I don't know who it was but if you need a product or service use the Verizon store in Burbank (1729 N. Victory). Both Vanessa & Mark were awesome. Not only did I get a new phone but bought a tablet as well. read more

If you want poor service, rude, attitude and people who really don't care, this is store for you. My wife had multiple problems and told Marvin who solved one concern and gave her the phone back and walked away. Marvin was rude, condescending and frustrated the two of us whom are senior citizens. The whole store had employees who seemed to be put out and perhaps even overwhelmed.. If you are a senior AVOID THIS STORE........ read more

I went in today because my phone (just purchased two months ago) stopped working (LG EnV Touch). I was helped by Steve Wang who also speaks Spanish and needs to practice - so go in and habla con el si se pueda! He helped me get a replacement phone, set up my email, explained my data plan, and explained how to use a memory card so I don't have to individually upload photos. In short, he was very competent, professional, friendly, and hustled to get everything done - which I definitely appreciated. Plus, because he explained, I understand the functions of my phone better and therefore like it better now. read more

From the minute I walked in I was treated well. Robert was great. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was not pushy and knew his products. I felt very comfortable buying from him. The place was great! Very well run. read more

Mario was extremely helpful with teaching me how to use my phone! I had no idea how to use a smartphone having a basic phone my entire life. The "workshop" was extremely useful and now I can actually use an iPhone! He even showed me some cool accessories to use with my iPhone that I didn't know existed! I also ended up buying a Hum to use with my car, turned my car into a smart car! Overall great experience with Verizon, would recommend 100%. Anyone wanting to do a workshop always ask for Mario, most genuine guy I've met at in a sales environment, doesn't care if you buy the stuff he shows you, just makes sure you can maximize the most out of your new device! read more

Came in for a reception issue on my phone. They we're pretty busy so had to wait a while but was worth it. Garik was great, he tried changing the Sim card but realized it was a phone issue. So he ordered me a new phone for free! He was very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks, Garik! read more

Best Verizon I've ever been to. I was helped by Shay, and I left way happier than when I walked in. The customer service was fantastic, and I highly recommend you go there! Thanks again guys! read more

This has to be the most depressing place of business in the Valley, and I say that as someone who's lived here for 20 years and seen some stuff. Long story short, I lost my cell phone yesterday, called VZW and picked up the new one today. I'd always gone to the old Verizon store further west and across from the Cadillac place which is now Banc of California, and I was on auto pilot and ended up there before finally checking for the new address. Eventually got there. Yay! Not. There was no 'yay.' Upon first walking in I noticed the store's abysmal layout. Towers of crap were everywhere and blocked any kind of view that would lead to where to check in and/or speak with a person. But the most off-putting thing is upon walking in I assumed no one was working there until after five minutes of standing there I hear a voice asking my first name, and they typed it in a handheld computer without uttering another word. While there were over a dozen people waiting, apparently only three other employees were on the floor, and it took about 20 minutes to identify them because they didn't have uniforms and were wearing sweatshirts. They looked like all the other customers, and I was only able to tell who they were by eventually listening to what they were saying and seeing Verizon on their shirts only when they were facing my direction. I overheard an employee tell someone who'd walked in right before me that it'd be about a 30 minute wait, even though I was there to literally just pick up a phone and didn't need any service. So I sat down at this u-shaped thing where there was a woman who'd been waiting an hour and still wasn't sure why, plus three others who'd been there forever and were openly griping right in front of the employees, who didn't bat an eye or appear to give a crap. After about 40 minutes a random guy called my name. Dressed in sweats and with long, unkempt hair, I didn't even realize he worked there until after he asked for my ID, only to disappear without saying a word before re-emerging 10 minutes later with a bag containing my phone, and instructions to not turn it on until I got home or near somewhere with a good connection (why was the STORE not an option? A Verizon store without a good connection? I still haven't processed that, tbh. Like, what?). The problems I had with this bad experience would comfortably fit under 'first world problems', but when you depend on your cell phone for the basics of communicating with anyone else AND you pay your hard-earned money for it, crap stores like this provide unfortunate clarity on how Verizon really feels about its customers, which is nothing - you're just an account number and a payment. That's how they got to be a billion dollar company; we're all just dollars and cents. Which is too bad because I've been a customer for over 20 years and was happy pretty much until the last two years of their shenanigans have shown me that they could give a sh*t about me. And since they're so big there aren't really a lot of other options. The other carriers are just as bad/worse so I'm stuck with this company for now. Sucks that they used to be really great and I recommended them to everyone, but here lately I'd tell anyone willing to listen that they'd legit be better off with an Obama phone or Cricket wireless. That just made me giggle, but it's really not funny. If you can, avoid going to this particular location by any means necessary. It is the physical embodiment of dank depression and overwhelming despair. If after reading this you still feel you MUST go to this store in Suite 6, yank out one of your own teeth and then stab it into your eyes. The pain you'll feel will still be less than what you'll experience if you go there. Happy Holidays. read more

Amazon service! Polite and knowledgeable staff! This is my new Verizon store for sure! I can't say enough good things about it, especially of Tim, who helped us today. Coincidentally, I've also written a scathing review of the franchised (i.e. Non-authorized) store at Van Nuys and Burbank. The comparison between the stores is night and day!! read more

I've been going to this verizon wireless store for quite a while. Nothing much has changed. Wait times are a bit of a mixed bag. Sometimes you wait and sometimes you don't. It also depends on what day you go. The few times that I've asked for help, the employees that helped me out where friendly and knowledgeable. I can't really complain much about the staff here or the location. So why not 5 or even 4 stars then? Well, I've also had a few negative experiences while waiting. And out of those few, one was downright terrible. But, it was just that one time. read more

This is very simple I've been with air touch and Verizon says 1997 a supervisor named Mo at the Sherman Oaks store called the police on me I'm 100% disabled then I was harassed by the corporate offices now I have a legitimate lawsuit for aggravated harassment that is a felony against Moe and the corporation I went to another Verizon store and got the best treatment I've ever received in history please do not go to the store it takes too long I spent four and a half hours on my birthday they lost five thousand photos and my phone was maliciously hacked or maybe they just simply did not do their job correctly during the transfer one phone to the other? read more

This store should also get a silver bullet (as in solving all problems) as well as five stars. So... here I am a 15 year Verizon customer happy with my old iPhone (is5) when my wife Susan drags me like a dog at the groomers in to buy a combo iPhone XR and XS... and I'm finally resigned when there appears Captain Wonderful in the form of a savvy tech Account executive named Michael Nault who not only knows his stuff but (to my old Baby Boomer sensibilities) is the only guy in there who doesn't look like my grandson. Well... Michael is as good as it gets: Smart. Cutting edge with his knowledge of tech...and with a terrific sense of humor. And he explains all the nish/nash of the new technology so well that even I could understand what he was saying. Michael set us up with the perfect plan. And now I have an iPhone that will do everything but wash my dog. BTW, all the staff at this new ahead-of-the curve venue are smart and courteous. And the interior looks like the deck of the Starship Enterprise. If you're going for a new phone, and you're on Verizon, this is the place to be! read more

I never thought I'd review a Verizon store as the service is generally unmemorable. ROBERT changed my mind on that yesterday. I came in with the "oh god, my phone is broken, please help me" look on my face. Robert was so friendly, patient and thorough. He went over the different options I had for replacements and explained the pros and cons of each. He went through the math behind all of the different options so I could see what made sense for my situation. I left a very happy customer and next time I ready for an upgrade or accessories, Robert's my guy. read more

All Verizon stores are know for their long wait times. You also hear about awful the people who work there are. Well I am here to add to that! This verizon location is ther worst! All I wanted to do was return something that was bought just a few hours earlier at another location. I was told I could not return my item at their store. You have 14 days to return anything. U might have to be charged a restocking fee but my item did not include that. The store manager and employee helping me both belittled me. I will NEVER go to that location ever again! read more

Horrible Customer Service!!! Took my brand new iPhone that I bought here back twice within the 14-day allowable period because it was faulty and they absolutely refused to swap it out for another one, even though I had a Verizon phone rep on the phone with me when I walked in who told them he had problems hearing me. They insisted it worked fine. Jennifer, the manager, was rude and condescending and told me it was probably a reception problem. Meanwhile, I'm looking at all the advertisements in the store for the best coverage nationwide. I asked the worker they assigned me to, Jonathan, what he would do if he ended up with a phone people couldn't hear you on and he idiotically responded, "Oh, I don't really talk on my phone much at all so it wouldn't bother me." Guess they must make commission on their $35 restocking fee then restock faulty phones. read more

I would give this store NEGATIVE stars if I could. I've been going to this store for the better part of 10 years--stupidly--and only because I was in a rush, or didn't have time to trek across town to the Burbank store. Never again, not even in the worst of circumstances. This location's behavior is positively reprehensible! I'll skip the details of disastrous visits over the years, and focus on my last visit on November 11 where I went in to upgrade my phone, and within 24 hours, it broke. I bought a black iPhone, because they claimed that was all they had left, and the next day when I came in to exchange it, they told me they no longer had black, but silver (mysteriously they had silver and not black and it was a holiday, so no deliveries should have been scheduled for that day--hence, where did these silver iPhones magically come from??? Where were they the day before when a silver iPhone was what I went in to buy?) Even though the failure of the product wasn't my fault, and the limitation on colors was also no fault of my own, I would still have to pay a $35 restocking fee anyway! Plus TAX on the restocking fee. I complained, and the moron managers refused to do anything about this; however, I called customer service and thankfully they were nice enough to remove this ridiculous restocking fee and credit me back the balance. This is after I waited for almost FOUR hours to even have someone work with me, and the store wasn't even all that busy. More like they were just badly understaffed. Stephany and JR, the managers, are terribly incompetent. They have no idea how to manage, how to delegate, how to organize so that customers are seen in a timely manner, treated appropriately, and leave the store satisfied. In fact, almost everyone leaving the store in the time I was sitting there waiting was furious or grumbling, or threatening to switch to another carrier--I myself am doing the same when the contract is up, and not because of Verizon, but simply because of this store's arrogance and incompetence. Furthermore, I noticed my phone bill significantly increased, and just today found out through Customer Service that this location added insurance to my plan!!!!!!! I was paying for insurance, and taxed for it too!!!! I NEVER authorized insurance for my phone! How dare this store do that to me??? Or anyone??? Who gives them the right? I have already filed a formal complaint with Verizon, and I hope this store is restructured and restaffed soon before they drive away any other customers with their cavalier behavior and incompetence in business practices. read more

At first glance, it is like most Verizons. About 8-10 employees in the store, but only 4 are helping customers. This is a management problem as the managers don't let all employees help customers. Some simply are told to help people enter their names in the system for the sales associates to help. Once I got to a sales associate, he was very helpful. He explained everything thoroughly and I have no complaints. Just the initial wait time is slow. Perhaps it is so you look around the store and buy more Verizon products. read more

Shay the supervisor did the most incredible job in helping us out; it was by far the most pleasant and helpful experience my husband and I have ever had in a phone store. My phone's lease was almost up for an upgrade when it broke (screen shattered), and he gave us all the options available to us that would be the best way to go. It was nice to be given options and the pros and cons of each. He gave us discounts whenever possible, and was incredibly efficient with our time, so we had very minimal wait time. Definitely going back for anything else we need! read more

Artin is highly recommended! I came to the new location near Islands Burgers to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 6 and Artin could not have made it any easier, what a pleasant experience it turned out to be. He had patience with all my questions and even waited kindly as I called my family quickly about things concerning our plan. Artin made sure I knew all the cool little 'must-know' features about the new phone and even put the screen protector on in the store for me. Ask for him to ensure a good visit! He's very honest and smart. read more

I had called this corporate store after the Burbank one refused to give me an appointment. They immediately were able to accommodate and give me an appt. I walked in and did not have to wait at all and a friendly gentleman named Bobby offered his help. Sadly this is the best Verizon store around but the hours suck. They should open earlier because the other stores can't accommodate so they need to pick up the slack. The store is priced like any Verizon store. A little pricey but they have a decent selection. Way better than ATT.
