Ugh is the first word that comes to mind. They got 1 star because I had to leave one. Not only is there always the longest wait but the sales people are the least helpful ever. I recently had a problem with my blackberry and asked to speak with a manager. The woman was so unhelpful, my charger was defective and still under warranty..she was so smug and wouldn't give me a new charger (that I was previously promised by another sales associate). I left the store and called Verizon customer care and they immediately sent me a new charger. I'm done with this location, it's just a waste of time and energy! read more

hmmm... There was no one in the store, but quiet few workers... why do I need to sign in my name first of all... Yes, then I waited, wasn't sure why they were all busy when there were only 2 customers. Whatever... Then I just want to purchase a phone at full retail price because I already know I am not allegeable for upgrade, but I really wanted the new phone. First, the guy who helped me had no idea what phone I am talking about even though it's the launch date that day!!! 2nd, I called the store half an hour ago before I got there to make sure they have the phone, confirmed they had 9 in stock. But He at the spot told me they don't carry that phone even though he has no idea which phone I was talking about 3rd, he pretend to go to the back-room to check for me with his manager, he came out and told me it's all sold out. Later I realize the manager was not even in the back-room since he was standing by other computer. The only reason I know that is because I asked to speak to the manager. 4th, the manager was trying to cover his employee, and told me all the phones are sold out. After I explained and showed him on my phone, their store number that I called, I was informed there were 9 phones left. I actually guess the number, but the manager changed his words by saying " We have 9 pre-ordered phone".. hmmm... because I mentioned 9, he didn't have to follow my number, it's was 7, so dahhhhHHH... liers!!! After all that they refuse to even sell me the phone. All I wanted is to buy the phone but they said they can't just sell me the phone. Not even all those above, I was just shocked at the customer service and lack of knowledge at this store, I am not point out other verizon stores because I have been verizon customer for quiet few years. I wil never go to this particular store, not with employees like that. SHAME!!!! read more

This is very simple I've been with air touch and Verizon says 1997 a supervisor named Mo at the Sherman Oaks store called the police on me I'm 100% disabled then I was harassed by the corporate offices now I have a legitimate lawsuit for aggravated harassment that is a felony against Moe and the corporation I went to another Verizon store and got the best treatment I've ever received in history please do not go to the store it takes too long I spent four and a half hours on my birthday they lost five thousand photos and my phone was maliciously hacked or maybe they just simply did not do their job correctly during the transfer one phone to the other? read more

This store should also get a silver bullet (as in solving all problems) as well as five stars. So... here I am a 15 year Verizon customer happy with my old iPhone (is5) when my wife Susan drags me like a dog at the groomers in to buy a combo iPhone XR and XS... and I'm finally resigned when there appears Captain Wonderful in the form of a savvy tech Account executive named Michael Nault who not only knows his stuff but (to my old Baby Boomer sensibilities) is the only guy in there who doesn't look like my grandson. Well... Michael is as good as it gets: Smart. Cutting edge with his knowledge of tech...and with a terrific sense of humor. And he explains all the nish/nash of the new technology so well that even I could understand what he was saying. Michael set us up with the perfect plan. And now I have an iPhone that will do everything but wash my dog. BTW, all the staff at this new ahead-of-the curve venue are smart and courteous. And the interior looks like the deck of the Starship Enterprise. If you're going for a new phone, and you're on Verizon, this is the place to be! read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid going to this specific store. In my opinion is the worst store in the country. They are trying to sell you the most expensive phones they have. They have almost no knowledge about the devices and their notion of customer service doesn't exist. Management is very rude and they act like they own the store. Let's start with bad: You need an appointment. Call ahead, make an appointment. Or wait 30 minutes, minimum on a good day. It's slightly ridicules considering how much Verizon costs, but that's really not the employees' fault at all. It's the holidays and there are a TON of people! Good: I went in today, already very upset. (Had a very stressful day where everything possible went wrong). The manager was very nice, considering I, frankly, was not (again, stressed and the end of a terrible day. Sorry!). The guy to helped me was knowledgeable,answered the dozen plus random questions I had after he fixed the initial problem, and was very nice overall. He even got my an Advil to help with my someone-is-pounding-a-hammer-into-my-head headache. For the ratings: the store is not "as good as it gets", so they didn't get 5 stars, but as long as you know going in there that you need to make an appointment and be prepared, they were definitely professional and helpful. I have been to this particular Verizon store 3 times and they have NEVER been able to assist me. The employees are rude and must work on commission because they are super pushy and don't listen to your needs, they just push whatever they are supposed to sell. The managers always tell you their hands are tied so if that's the case, what's the point of having managers!? Every time I'm in this particular store I consider switching carriers. HORRIBLE, don't waste your time trying to get help. Call the customer service as usually over the phone help is better and they can over ride stuff. read more

Timothy was great! My business had a wifi issue and I walked right in an he helped me as fast as lightning! He was very friendly and explained the how to's of the device and even went as far as walking me through how to connect. I went into this store on 11/2/15 to pick up an order. Because my SS# was incorrectly entered into Verizons system, I had to show my drivers license in order to pick up my new phone. I was helped (not really) buy someone I was told was Shay. Who ever the person was, he was the most rude piece of garbage I've had the displeasure to deal with in a long time. He didn't believe my ID was authentic and told my I had to bring in a copy of my SS card so that he could scan my ID's to the corporate office. He treated me like I was some criminal and he refused to help me further. I've been a customer with Verizon for 12 years. I called the corporate office and was told the person was actually named Blaine. I don't know who it was but if you need a product or service use the Verizon store in Burbank (1729 N. Victory). I went in today because my phone (just purchased two months ago) stopped working (LG EnV Touch). I was helped by Steve Wang who also speaks Spanish and needs to practice - so go in and habla con el si se pueda! He helped me get a replacement phone, set up my email, explained my data plan, and explained how to use a memory card so I don't have to individually upload photos. In short, he was very competent, professional, friendly, and hustled to get everything done - which I definitely appreciated. Plus, because he explained, I understand the functions of my phone better and therefore like it better now. read more

Mario was extremely helpful with teaching me how to use my phone! I had no idea how to use a smartphone having a basic phone my entire life. The "workshop" was extremely useful and now I can actually use an iPhone! He even showed me some cool accessories to use with my iPhone that I didn't know existed! I also ended up buying a Hum to use with my car, turned my car into a smart car! Overall great experience with Verizon, would recommend 100%. Anyone wanting to do a workshop always ask for Mario, most genuine guy I've met at in a sales environment, doesn't care if you buy the stuff he shows you, just makes sure you can maximize the most out of your new device! read more

I've been going to this verizon wireless store for quite a while. Nothing much has changed. Wait times are a bit of a mixed bag. Sometimes you wait and sometimes you don't. It also depends on what day you go. The few times that I've asked for help, the employees that helped me out where friendly and knowledgeable. I can't really complain much about the staff here or the location. So why not 5 or even 4 stars then? Well, I've also had a few negative experiences while waiting. I never thought I'd review a Verizon store as the service is generally unmemorable. ROBERT changed my mind on that yesterday. I came in with the "oh god, my phone is broken, please help me" look on my face. Robert was so friendly, patient and thorough. He went over the different options I had for replacements and explained the pros and cons of each. He went through the math behind all of the different options so I could see what made sense for my situation. All Verizon stores are know for their long wait times. You also hear about awful the people who work there are. Well I am here to add to that! This verizon location is ther worst! All I wanted to do was return something that was bought just a few hours earlier at another location. I was told I could not return my item at their store. You have 14 days to return anything. U might have to be charged a restocking fee but my item did not include that. The store manager and employee helping me both belittled me. I will NEVER go to that location ever again! read more

Horrible Customer Service!!! Took my brand new iPhone that I bought here back twice within the 14-day allowable period because it was faulty and they absolutely refused to swap it out for another one, even though I had a Verizon phone rep on the phone with me when I walked in who told them he had problems hearing me. They insisted it worked fine. Jennifer, the manager, was rude and condescending and told me it was probably a reception problem. Meanwhile, I'm looking at all the advertisements in the store for the best coverage nationwide. I asked the worker they assigned me to, Jonathan, what he would do if he ended up with a phone people couldn't hear you on and he idiotically responded, "Oh, I don't really talk on my phone much at all so it wouldn't bother me." Guess they must make commission on their $35 restocking fee then restock faulty phones. read more

I would give this store NEGATIVE stars if I could. I've been going to this store for the better part of 10 years--stupidly--and only because I was in a rush, or didn't have time to trek across town to the Burbank store. Never again, not even in the worst of circumstances. This location's behavior is positively reprehensible! I'll skip the details of disastrous visits over the years, and focus on my last visit on November 11 where I went in to upgrade my phone, and within 24 hours, it broke. I bought a black iPhone, because they claimed that was all they had left, and the next day when I came in to exchange it, they told me they no longer had black, but silver (mysteriously they had silver and not black and it was a holiday, so no deliveries should have been scheduled for that day--hence, where did these silver iPhones magically come from??? Where were they the day before when a silver iPhone was what I went in to buy?) Even though the failure of the product wasn't my fault, and the limitation on colors was also no fault of my own, I would still have to pay a $35 restocking fee anyway! Plus TAX on the restocking fee. I complained, and the moron managers refused to do anything about this; however, I called customer service and thankfully they were nice enough to remove this ridiculous restocking fee and credit me back the balance. This is after I waited for almost FOUR hours to even have someone work with me, and the store wasn't even all that busy. More like they were just badly understaffed. Stephany and JR, the managers, are terribly incompetent. They have no idea how to manage, how to delegate, how to organize so that customers are seen in a timely manner, treated appropriately, and leave the store satisfied. In fact, almost everyone leaving the store in the time I was sitting there waiting was furious or grumbling, or threatening to switch to another carrier--I myself am doing the same when the contract is up, and not because of Verizon, but simply because of this store's arrogance and incompetence. Furthermore, I noticed my phone bill significantly increased, and just today found out through Customer Service that this location added insurance to my plan!!!!!!! I was paying for insurance, and taxed for it too!!!! I NEVER authorized insurance for my phone! How dare this store do that to me??? Or anyone??? Who gives them the right? I have already filed a formal complaint with Verizon, and I hope this store is restructured and restaffed soon before they drive away any other customers with their cavalier behavior and incompetence in business practices. read more

At first glance, it is like most Verizons. About 8-10 employees in the store, but only 4 are helping customers. This is a management problem as the managers don't let all employees help customers. Some simply are told to help people enter their names in the system for the sales associates to help. Once I got to a sales associate, he was very helpful. He explained everything thoroughly and I have no complaints. Just the initial wait time is slow. Perhaps it is so you look around the store and buy more Verizon products. read more

Shay the supervisor did the most incredible job in helping us out; it was by far the most pleasant and helpful experience my husband and I have ever had in a phone store. My phone's lease was almost up for an upgrade when it broke (screen shattered), and he gave us all the options available to us that would be the best way to go. It was nice to be given options and the pros and cons of each. He gave us discounts whenever possible, and was incredibly efficient with our time, so we had very minimal wait time. I've finally came out all the way from Calabasas to visit this store, The general Mgr, Mo & Jeff of whom I've spoken to 4 mos. ago when I needed advice, I finally met him it was such a phenomenal, professional accommodation from the moment I walked in, Mark, supporting Mgr greeted me professionally led me to the corner had me sat down to the red couch until I am called. Store is organized, clean & they rendered their services tip top to the tee. The Gen Mgr. Was so patient with me; conveyed my concerns that IVE had with regards to my service, he worked with me, came up with the justified solution that would be feasible to my needs. Very very Bad customer service! They tell customers that they get a discount for a new phone and then after you buy one they tell you don't get it because you don't have the box?! WTF? I have the receipts! Witch is prove of purchase, right!? When i signed the contract it was no where stated that the box is needed!!! Completely false advertising and tricking customers in to buying a phone without giving them the promotion they are promised! I had called this corporate store after the Burbank one refused to give me an appointment. They immediately were able to accommodate and give me an appt. I walked in and did not have to wait at all and a friendly gentleman named Bobby offered his help. He was very patient and listened to the issues I had with customer service as the verizon customer "care" suggested I go in store and speak to a manager. Although Bobby is not a manager he was able to communicate with Shay, a solution specialist, and they both came up with a solution to my problem.
