Worst customer service. I'm waiting list said 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes pass while plenty of workers standing around talking. Tired of waiting after seeing new people walking in getting helped while I'm sitting 30 minutes on a waiting list to be seen. I ordered a new phone because mine broke. I showed up 5 min before closing and they were not letting people in so they were helping people out side it took them awhile to get to me. By the time they got to me it was 10 min passed closing and shut the door in my face and shooed me away while I taped on the glass to get my new phone. They said sorry we are closed your going to have to wait another day... I come back the next day and they are closed. Very rude employees terrible service worst place to go get a new phone read more

Worst ! I cant deal with this store again. Its close to my home and I grin and bare it but I have had enough with their BAD customer service. Know your product and help people after they purchase it instead of sending them somewhere else because YOU do not know what to do. Last time they erased my phone contacts and all of my photos. It is enough that the store is always over crowded and you have to wait awhile but then to end up with people that cant do their job and spending a fortune on a phone NO. I will buy a prepaid rather than deal with this garbage anymore. Verizon you should be ashamed ! To top it all off, I purchased a phone to be delivered here, when I called to get some info, I ended up canceling the phone I was so ticked off. After two trips to this store a person was finally able to help me with my iPhone. Upon my arrival the first time I was told that there was stuff in my charging port and told to clean it out. I did that took the phone back into the representative and she started to tell me that I screwed up and it's going to cost me $500 through AppleCare. I went home to grab my old droid went back to have it hooked up talk to a different technician showed me how to do a reset on my iPhone that work and she was more than helpful. Horrible customer service. Employee "helping me" chewing gum and just trying to get rid of me because it was close to 8pm!!!! I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for 12 years. She was not helpful at all. I just bought the iPhone 6 at that store, it was shipped to my house so I came for two simple things to activated it which I already had 1/2done and transfer my data to the new phone. They not even deserve a rating star due to the lady that was very negligent and her lack of knowledge. I can pass the lack of knowledge but NOT chewing GUM while talking to a customer. I've had Verizon wireless service for several years now. This is the store that I primarily use because its in a convenient location for me. They have a good selection of phones and tablets and all the corresponding accessories. The staff is pretty cool, usually nice and helpful. Sometimes they use some weird check-in system when its busy that reminds me too much of the apple store, no biggie though. read more

Tuesday I visited your Sparks, NV location to upgrade my device. I received excellent service from Joel&Erich. Today I received a group text message from some man named George, I'll copy it for you below: 'Hello, This is George from Verizon Wireless in Sparks, NV. Upon reviewing your account, you qualify for special promotions on our current tablets! If you would like to know more, please reply or feel free to visit us at 105 Los Altos Parkway #101 Sparks, NV 89436. Thank you and have a good day!' 1- I don't know who George is, but I don't like him further reviewing my account, especially without me being in said store or giving him permission. 2- I don't appreciate George sending this group text to me and 6 other people. There's 6 random strangers who have my number now. Which I realize to most isn't a big deal, but to me and my family it is a big deal. 3- I NEVER authorized this particular store to send me promotional offers to my cellular device. I don't even allow Verizon to send me promotional emails. I feel George is a VERY unprofessional fellow. If he has all this time to sit and 'further review' past customers accounts for tablet eligibility, shouldn't he have enough time to send individual texts? I'm very disappointed in this. Again, I understand for many people this wouldn't be an issue, but for me personally it is an issue. I'm glad to see my privacy is important to George and the Verizon store that he represents. Bought a phone here that didn't work. Went to return it, and they told me I had to handle everything over the phone with the manufacturer. Nice way to stand behind their products. Terrible Experience!! I went in to get help removing the SIM card from my old phone. Erick was sent over to "help" me. All he wanted to talk about was where I bought my phone and why I bought it there. He was VERY rude. Then he wanted to tell me about the phones they sold. I repeatedly told him that I only needed help removing the card from my old phone. He did finally help me. Not before he made sure that I knew that this business is NOT about customer service. Really think hard before going to this store!!!Staff are really RUDE , not concerned about customer service or meeting the costumers needs. Our salesperson, lets call him C, spoke down to my husband and myself, when clearly we knew more than he did. He kept up with the relentless sales pressure even after we ask him to stop. The manager was no better, he clearly heard what was going on and did nothing to improve our experience. To make matters worse, C kept complaining to us about the other Verizon stores in the area that had closed because of poor sales, huh no wonder if this is how they treat their customers!!!!! Best service! I recommend going to Caesar Ruiz, he was knowledgeable, quick and his customer service is exceptional. I tried going to the store by Meadowood Mall and the guy that checked me in was a jerk! Mr. Ruiz is the man to go to, I recommend making an appointment because he had people come in requesting him. Broadband wireless in Lockwood is almost non-existen for 3GB users. I get "Optimized" about 75% of the time. "Optimized," as in you're connected, but no data is being transmitted to you so you have no internet servece. Verizon does this intentionally, I believe, to force 3GB users to upgrade to the more expensive 4GB service. Verizon told me that "4GB service isn't optimized, so you get uninterrupted service." What the tech, in effect, was telling me is that Verizon is intentionally defrauding me of internet service to force me to buy a more expensive service. After 20 or more complaints to the 611 tech support, I give up. The 611 people won't give me the name and business address of the regional manager for me to contact in this matter. Today I'll be going to the City Business Licensing devision to file a complaint of unthical business practices. I am also going Lawyer shopping to see if any attorney would like to get involved in a Civil Suit for Verizon defrauding me of service I pay for. My recommendation is to not use Verizon services, because the tech support is crap! read more

My wife and I are in the process of moving to Reno area from Alaska. Initially just interested in their MiFi unit for internet, but then decided to get 2 cell phones because staff person said they could port my Alaska number to Verizon. They FedEx'd a phone to my wife in AK. After 5 hours in store getting set up, they said it could take up to 4 hours to get ported over; so, I went home. Six hours later I checked to see if ported yet and it wasn't so I contacted my provider in Alaska to see what was taking so long - the tech support there had no idea. So I called the porting department for Verizon and was told it could take up to a month or more to get the phones ported. The next day I went to Verizon and told them what the tech at their porting department said. They said they thought he was wrong and so contacted the porting department themselves. After about 2 hours, the said it would take no more than 3 days to get the phones ported over, so I went back home again. Three days later and back to the store and still no service. I asked them to up the data package on my MiFi because somehow I had used up over 3 gigs of data according to the device [very suspicious]. They then found out that Verizon only has data service in Alaska and no-one knew when they might be getting voice service there, so I told them to cancel the phones. A FedEx return slip was sent to my wife in Alaska who had to take the package to FedEx for return to Verizon. Of course, they would not refund until they received the phone - another couple of hours and gas money wasted. Went back a few days later and neither of the staff that I had worked with was there; another staff person tried to help, but was "lost" so I found out when one of the other staff would be back and left once again. When I went back, the original staff person was there and found the phone my wife had returned. She at first tried to say that we had used some time on the phones and Verizon usually did not give full refunds in those cases; my wife never opened the box "her" phone was in and the only calls made on "my" phone were made by the staff person I was talking to when she initially checked it out at the store. She said her boss was willing to give full refund in my case. I asked why my MiFi was still saying it had used over 3 gigs of data of 4 available because it should have been updated to 8 as I was told it had been on previous visit. It hadn't been and so the process began to try to figure out how to backdate the update, but they couldn't figure out how to do it because it had been linked to the phones also. After awhile I decided I was done and told them to cancel my account. I left and traveled the 20 miles back to my home and got the MiFi unit and took it back to their store. They tried to convince me to wait some more so that they could get Corporate to straighten things out for me, but I let them know that I thought Corporate / Verizon is the problem. I was then told it would now cost me another $20 to close my account - sheer audacity!! read more
