I went into the store because my phone wasn't working properly. The man who helped me bareley looked at it before declaring it was a "motherboard" issue and I needed a new phone. He also was very pushy about selling a mobile hotspot and the new HUM. I didn't purchase anything and then took my phone to a go wireless location. My phone was fixed there within 15 minutes and I didn't have to buy anything. read more

Astonished at how rude some of their workers are at the store. I will say the first lady that helped when I walked in was very nice which is the only reason this review got one star. I have been a faithful Verizon user for fifteen or more years and spent a great deal of money in this store. The service by Debbie was appalling and making me contemplate switching to Sprint or AT&T. Rude, rude, rude. I brought in a phone with a malfunction. The salesperson had no interest in helping me diagnose the problem, which I suspected was a failing battery. They do not replace batteries in sealed phones. They could not direct me to where I might get a repair. I said "what can you do for me"? The smarmy sales rep replied "Sell you a phone." Period. I asked if I could buy the same phone, which was a top of the line Samsung when I bought it. "I wouldn't buy that phone" he scoffed. He showed me a Google phone which did not have wireless charging. I said I owned two wireless charging stands and liked the feature. He said he could write me up an estimate, not even listening to my preferences as a customer. Never going back. Ever. My wife, son and I are looking for new phone, and were considering Verizon (my wife and son are on AT&T and I am on Sprint). We walk in the store and are immediately confronted with a guy who asks 'name?'. I ask why he wants to know, and he says that he wants to sign us up for the next available salesperson. I say "Steve" and we go to look at phones. I notice there are no Nexus phones on display, so I ask the same guy who greeted us about it, and he said "they're in the back, I'll have the salesperson show you one". A minute later he comes up and says that he doesn't recommend the Nexus because it's got known bugs, it crashes, etc... having researched the phone, I haven't heard a thing (it runs pure Android rather than a Samsung or HTC UI overlay) about it, but wonder... hmmm... could it be that since the Nexus is $100 less than the Samsung Galaxy S III I'm looking at that he says this? When the sales guy comes over, I ask about the Nexus (was thinking S III for me, Nexus for my son) so he goes and gets the Nexus, but he needs to unbox it and I need to go to a different counter to do this. Another person at the counter says that since it's not registered, none of the apps will work. It boots, and all the apps work. I ask why not have it on display... she says that it's only $50 cheaper than the SIII so they don't bother. I mention that their website shows it as $100 cheaper. They check... I'm correct. She says that the UI will be the same as the Samsung... wrong again... it's native Android vs. Samsung's UI. It was VERY clear that they had not interest (or experience) in the Nexus, or in fact about the phones in general. It felt like I was in a room filled with uninformed sales people who didn't know their own products... which actually, I was. This is the last place i would want to go if I have problems down the road with a phone, or service issues, or pretty much anything. The value to a brick-and-mortar store is good service and a friendly comfortable environment to shop and explore. I have sworn off Verizon... good luck to anyone that ventures into this place. Worst service ever. Only go to this store if you enjoy long wait times and pushy salespeople who shouldn't be working with the public. We went in last week for the express purpose of joining our accounts and to see if my husband could get an upgrade to his outdated, non-working Droid 4. What we ended up with was Yung, a sales rep who tried to talk hubby into everything from a crappy iPhone, a cheap "free" tablet, and the kitchen sink. When he said he could cut hubby's monthly bill in half we bit, and then by sheer luck discovered later that Yung had destroyed his plan so badly it took an hour and a half on the phone that evening with customer care to get it sorted out. He put him on a "plan" that pro-rated everything and charged a fee for every minute, text, and KB of data my husband was using. Customer care said "I have no idea what this guy even did" and "you will have at least a $600 bill at the end of the month". WTF?? It took getting sent to Tier 2 care to get everything fixed. Do not go to this store. They hire incompetent morons who have no clue how to perform their simplest tasks. read more

After being overcharged and lied to by the Go Wireless Verizon in Tigard, we were directed to the LO Verizon store. The staff as a whole were awesome. VERY helpful and informative. 2 staff members stayed after close to fix the errors on our account that resulted from the fraud perpetuated on us the the Go Wireless in Tigard. I have since been back to this location to upgrade my husbands phone and have sent my mother to get her phone and service upgrades. Every experience was consistent and pleasant. read more

I'm only giving a one star because you have to to leave a review. We have Verizon customers for over 20 something years. We just had an unbelievable experience at this Corporate owned store. The man named Nick, who said he would help us was absolutely the worst employee at Verizon we've ever had to deal with. We went in to see how we could lower our bill with three phones. We have Google pixel phones and feel these are the best phones we've ever purchased. We were not in need of new phones. He kept trying to talk us into new phones which he said was the only way we could get our bill down. We kept telling him we didn't need new phones. When he realized we weren't going to buy new phones he said he couldn't help us because they were only sales people and if we didn't buy new phones no one in this Corporate store could help us. We then went out into our car, called Verizon and had the best experience ever, with Micqia. She helped us get our bill down $60 a month with unlimited everything. Thank you Micqia for your help. We will never go to the Verizon Corporate store in Tualatin, OR ever again!! read more

This store is always jam packed, and parking in the shopping center can be tricky, so allow some extra time. Twelve people were ahead of me this morning, but they operated like a well-oiled machine. The lady entering names and issues in the queue was stellar about offering updates every few mins, so guests would know how many people were ahead of them. The associates here are super knowledgeable and fix all of my issues every single time no matter how simple or complex. I usually walk out with some new gadgets for my devices, too. Really love the customer support and knowledge Landon offers, but the rest of the team is also great! read more

I was serviced at the Verizon store last night it was a follow up from my previous visit with Michael the Manager who was also extremely affluent in all Verizon policies and very kind to take care of my needs. He gave me a loaner phone while my primary phone was replaced during that visit. This visit I was serviced by Ryan he was extremely knowledgeable and catered to my needs. The task at hand was to add two additional lines and a purchase of an iPad and iPhone, Ryan was very knowledgeable in the plans available and helped to add those lines with no hassle at all as well as a port of a number. Side Note there was a young lady who who worked there who generously gave a 2 amp charger to me it was extremely kind. In all my experience with this particular store is been very warming it's a primary example of what sales should be. read more

Reluctantly giving 2 stars because we were initially very impressed with the customer service we received in store. Bryant and John helped us and were patient and knowledgeable in getting 4 phones and a home line onto Verizon from AT&T. Bryant gave us his number and told us to contact him if we had any questions once we left the store. We have tried contacting him for over A MONTH to get help with installing the home phone (we paid for it but there was no follow through to set it up) and he will not respond. Feels like now that they got our business, he does not care to follow through. It is inconvenient to go into the location as my parents live in Gresham and we live in Salem. I am actually seeking out to write a rave review about the person who helped me at this store because he was awesome and I want you to ask for him to make your experience as good as mine. Unlike the apple store across the street, Adam was able and willing to help me right away - objectively described all of my options and helped me find the best fit for me, and then even went the extra mile to try to ensure my old plan still fit my needs. It was a pleasant and easy experience, and he even followed up when he had to wait to do the final changes many days later. I really don't know what all the complaints are about. I've been to this store at least 8 times in the last couple of years. Although I've had to wait a bit, it was only excessive once when they were remodeling the store. That being said, the service has ALWAYS been top notch and professional. Lindsay did a great job helping us get new iphones. She was nice, funny, and knew what she was talking about. She Made getting a new phone easy and somehow an ipad got thrown in there too because we can't pass up a holiday deal. (She wasn't pushy about it at all by the way. The manager or whoever i talked to lied to me, saying that my phone was too old to work. The truth is, the phone can be hooked up. The representatives from another store told me they just didn't want to do it. This is no joke or exaggeration. I actually didn't even believe them, until i talked to a friend who confirmed what they said. Verizon, as a business, is acting like a psychopath to it's customers. They are not providing services other than too exploit a monopoly over the western US. Verizon is perfectly willing to make all of its customers buy a brand new phone instead of allowing the use perfectly good products. My review is regarding Verizon wireless as a company and is not directed towards this particular location. My family has had an account with Verizon for 5 years. I recently branched out and got my own account in October of 2012 in order to get a new I Phone 4S. Since October, I had not received a single statement through the mail or email. I had called every month to fix this issue and was told they had updated my information. Upon calling Customer Care at Verizon today, I was informed that my telephone number belonged to someone under a different name and that they couldn't give me any information. Upon talking to the customer care for an hour, they figured out that whoever had signed me up originally had used my middle name to set up my account. I asked to speak to the manager to discuss this issue and was told her would call me back. I received an automated call where I was prompted to rate my service but was never able to speak to the manager directly. Needless to say, Verizon cares nothing about their customers, their input or correcting the issues that they have created for their clients. I am a very dissatisfied customer and have never had such poor service. Verizon has had no problem taking my payments for the last 9 months but can't take the time to fix my account or hear my concerns over the phone. I am DEFINITELY switching to another provider. read more

BEWARE the Bridgeport Verizon, LAKE OSWEGO OREGON. I was told that if I purchased the $11 per month insurance, that my phone would be completely covered. All I would have to do was bring in the broken phone, and they would hand me a new one. Several times, I asked, "Eleven dollars a month gives me complete coverage?" "Yes! You don't want to ever have an expensive phone without this coverage. If you drop it, if it gets wet, etc, all completely covered!" "For $11 bucks a month?" "Yes, ma'am." So. I buy the coverage for everyone in my family. Fast forward several months. Daughter drops phone. Phone explodes. I tell daughter, no worries, I have FULL COVERAGE, AS PROMISED TO ME by my friendly Verizon rep. Daughter goes in. She is African American. Do not know if this was the factor (I doubt it) or it was because she was female (I doubt it) or if she was young (18)...(I think so). She is told that she will have to buy a new phone for $600. I send her back. "No, we have COMPLETE COVERAGE, try again." She does. Still $600 for phone. I am white. I am old. I am mad. I go in. I stay polite, but tell friendly rep my story. This friendly rep tells me that we are covered AFTER WE PAY 150 DEDUCTION. A deduction THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED when I went in the first time! The Verizon rep sheepishly told me that Verizon NEVER tells people the Deductible part and that customers come in all the time, furious, because they have been promised that $11 a month will protect them (in my case, it's $66 per month, just for insurance on my phones). So, I ask to see the manager. The manager comes out and tells me that I should have expected a deductible, after all, ALL insurance has deductible's. I told him that his people were lying to us and misleading and deceiving us. He offered to pay $75 dollars of the $150 deductible. I said, go talk to your boss and ask him. He went into the back room, pretended to call his boss. Kept me and my daughter waiting. Meanwhile, other people in the store, who had been listening in, all piped up and said, "Hey, we thought we were completely covered, too! This place is always lying to us, etc." Manager comes back, after pretending to talk to his boss and tells me $75 is all he can do. People. Verizon might have the best service bars, but they are lying to you! Before you buy ANYTHING from them, make them write down the details and sign it and get their card. And, do the math. 150 deductible plus 2 years at 11 per month is $414, which will only replace the model that you have! It might be good to get the insurance for the first 6-12 months...After that? your phone has depreciated and it's no longer a good deal. Also! The charge TWICE as much for the same Lifeproof Case. They wanted $99. Got SAME CASE for $44 online. LESS THAN HALF, even with shipping. Buy ALL of the extra stuff online. Seriously. Boycott all that stuff until they start being truthful and charging reasonable prices. read more

I've been with verizon for ten years, and sad to say that I'll be switching to T-Mobile sometime soon. They sent me a phone that malfunctioned and didn't work. I went in and they told me it was a battery. I went and bought a new battery and my phone started working again. The battery died, I went to charge it, and my phone wouldn't charge. The problem was with my phone and not the battery. They mailed a new phone, but shipping took much longer than I was told it would. I rely on my phone for work, and since I didn't have a working phone, it hurt my income. Unfortunately, they did nothing to help the situation and it seems like they didn't care at all. read more

She seemed to not have a very complete knowledge of Verizon fees and discounts, and was defensive about it to boot. I got a bad feeling that I couldn't trust her to find an optimal plan or device, that she was unwilling to even make the effort. We simply had to leave, astonished. I've been to this store many times. It's the closest Verizon store to my home. But every -- and I mean EVERY -- time, I've had to wait at least half an hour. The last time, it was 45+ minutes. Other than poor staffing & planning, there's no excuse for making your customers wait and wait and wait some more before being served. Maybe other nearby Verizon stores offer better service but if you go to this one, bring a book 'cause you're going to have to sit around a long time before anyone helps you. read more

Terrible experience. I don't mean to judge a book by its cover but long story short. Went in to switch lines and they said they couldn't do anything and said to call a number. I was confused but I'm not going to argue. So I agreed and went back to my car. After calling the number in the car, a very very pleasant and nice rep helped me. She told me that since I was in front of the Verizon store, I could go back in and they could help me but she needed to be on the phone to authorize the worker to disable my old line. So, I went in, a different guy than before greeted me with a dull "hello.." I explained to him what was going on (while the nice rep was on speaker) saying that she needed to talk to him and explain what was going on. While I'm telling him this, he has the most disappointed and annoyed look on his face and not even looking at me while I talk to him. Then all he said was, "I'm not ready to talk her. I'll let you know when I am." And walked a way. Even the rep ON THE PHONE was shocked at his attitude! She told me to leave the store and she could handle everything over the phone and I didn't need to deal with that guy. I guess they don't make commission on switching lines so he wanted nothing to do with me? I guess I was a waste of his time. read more

Avoid this place at all costs unless you have no life and wish to sit around wasting time all day. Stopped in to upgrade and iPhone 4 (yes...in 2015) and was told there was a bit of a line ~40 min wait and 5 customers ahead of us. Put a name on the list and waited...and waited...and waited...and watched and many employees seemingly did not a damn thing. At one point a lady walked in with a broken case and 3 employees flocked to her to replace a broken case. After ~50 minutes a lady walked and inquired about upgrading and iPhone and was IMMEDIATELY helped by TWO staffers. Yep, same issue, no wait. We inquired as to what was happening we were told ther were still 3 people ahead of us and ~30 minutes to wait while not a single person remaining in the store had come in before us. Not sure is this was some sort of twisted joke or what. We left.... F THIS PLACE. Went to the store by PDX the next morning and was in and put in 15 minutes. The staff is terrible and the manager doesn;t have a clue how to handle his job. Too bad ZERO stars aren't an option. Wish I had read the previous reviews before wasting my time here read more

This place sucks, Customer Service is non existent, tried to return an accessory and they would not return it without me buying something else, they didn't have what I wanted they didn't have anything that would satisfy me but they kept giving me the " so we're doing better for you then we should be"! I have been a customer forever and they can't work with me, like my pittance of a refund is going to impede their sales records. Every time I go into this location I feel coerced to buy more add more do this do that but when it comes to me wanting something in return they turn on this salesman like attitude "ma'am that's the best we can do!" So not true, I know they can do what I'm asking for a measly $29, I have given them thousands of dollars over the years and they cannot accommodate $29! I will not return to this location, and I hope this review teaches you the same thing this location SUCKS! I cannot remember a time when I have been satisfied with this locations service! Drive out of your way to go somewhere else! You can tell by their staff turnover that they don't like it there either.
