This been on of the worst experiences of my life. The attitude of these Corporate workers are always indifferent to the customer. They told me "If I'm not buying anything, I'm not worth an ounce of effort." I just needed a SIM card, possibly would have considered an upgrade. They were all laughing at how easy it is to "Slam" customers. Calling the store Slam City. You also insulted my disabled daughter and made her cry. I really hope Karma gets you. Let me sum up my experiences with this place. 1) Getting stuck in the store for an hour and half while they tried to figure out how to switch me to the 3G network. Check. 2) Got switched over to a new land line plan that the salesperson assured me would save me money after doing an analysis. I was paying $75, and have been paying $96 for the last 3 months since switching. Check. 3) As an added bonus, if you call Verizon's billing department, they apparently don't keep records of what the stores are doing, so they had no idea what I was quoted, they just know I'm paying more and there is nothing that they can do. They referred me back to the store. Check. 4) Turns out, the stores don't keep much in the way of their records either, so they don't know what their people are quoting customers. Welcome to Hell. The manger will be sure to be rude to you as soon as you walk in. This manager hates her life and does not want to be at work. After an hour wait I finally got to speak to Damian. Damian wanted to hurry up and wrap the deal up because he was getting off soon I understand but he ran my credit for the wrong program I wanted and didn't pass me to any other employees before he left. After we stood there for 20 min I had to recheck in and wait in line all over again. Now seeing a new employee they informed me I was not getting the edge and there nothing I can do. I'm in a contract with two old phones that I didn't want. They sent me to costomer care over the phone. I called and they basically could do nothing. So I'm going back in today and see what happens. I went back in and was given no help. I was there for another two hours. Turns out they read everything wrong. The Manager continued to not want to help. As an employee was helping me the manager would come and interrupt and say time for our meeting lets go. She wanted the employees to just leave the customers. I'm actually shocked when I saw this. This review is for this store only, not verizon coverage or phones. This store was my store of choice for a while, well that was until last night. I walked in wanting to purchase a new phone. I knew what I wanted and had cash in hand ready to buy. As I walked in I was greeted by a lady who asked how they could help.I responded by saying I would like to buy a new phone. She told me everyone was busy and she would have a sales person come get me as soon as they where free. I could see the store was busy so this was no biggie. As I wandered around looking at phones I noticed that people where finishing up and leaving. So I stood and waited for a sales person. As I waited I see not 1, not 2, no not even 3, but a total of 4 sales people standing at the entry podium, including the lady who originally greeted me. On top of this one sale guy was on his i-phone texting and taking to someone, only to remove his ear buds to say goodnight to a passing employee. In amazement I decided to give them just a couple of more minutes. Well not a soul said a word so I walked out. Upon walking out one sales lady actually said, Thanks and have a nice night. I went into the store on October 31, 2021 at 4:35 PM and I was there too turn on my phone for the rebate. I was unfortunately sent to Eric who was the person who helped me. I he had a terrible attitude and absolutely no patience to try to confirm that I was going to get the full $800 rebate. At first he said I was not gonna be able to get it but I told him I was in the day earlier and Angel told me I was. He immediately started yelling and I was lucky that Angel was in the back and heard. He came out and calmed Eric down. I don't know exactly what they were saying because they were behind the plexiglass and a little ways behind the desk. He came back and said OK it's OK and assured me he understood the situation. When I asked for some sort of confirmation he immediately started yelling again. This person has no business in representing Verizon! This experience has taken all the excitement and pleasure out of getting my new phone and I just dread if I ever have to go in to that store again! read more

Avoid this Verizon store at all costs. All they are interested in is selling you something and that includes what I consider deceptive sales practices to do it. I am a long time Verizon customer, 25 +years, And about a year ago upgraded to a new Samsuns S8. Nice phone ,but included with that according to my salesperson was a Hum device to put in my car. No mention of the recurring monthly fee and the unmentioned obligation that you must keep it 2 years or be charged an early termination fee. Several visits to the store all ended in frustration as they refused to take the unit back and acknowledge that they had decieved me about the costs involved. My problem is not with Verizon, just with the predatory attitude of the "service" people at this store. read more

Do not come here young guy who did my phone upgrade did not tell me he was adding a phone protection plan to my bill for an extra 13$ a month per phone. He said oh because your getting an upgrade you get three accessories for free under 50$. Not true, it was because he told me I needed to turn in my old phones and it would reduce the cost of my bill. The turning i of the phones went to the purchase of the three accessories, which i did not know. So i only got a partial reduce bill, and the rest went to buying the three accessories i didnt even need or want. He made it seem like it was free so I fell for it and said ok. This guy is shady and the store is full of lies and gimmicks to get you to spend more money on your bill. Lessen dnt go to corporate stores they work on commission. Going back to buying my phones from best buy they dnt care what phone u get or by what provider. Beware of shady buisness practices. read more

Last up grade helped the young lady pay for the new BMW she talked about . We ended having her tell me that would get a free hot spot and a free Tablet. Nothing is free both of them are costing me $10 a month each for something we were told would be set up on our phone number and they have there own numbers and we are stuck with them for 2 years so free turns out to be almost $500. Also the Tablet is a piece of junk and never worked. But we were stuck with them so it is time to changer for Verizon to someone else after being with Verizon for over 23 years. Also every time they upgrade my phone it turns things on that eat up my 4 gigs of data in a few hours and then they bill me $15 for going over. I usually don't use more than 2 to 3 gig and have carry over, but in the last 2 weeks they say I used over 7 gigs of data. Any one suggest another carrier? read more

Had a rude experience yesterday at this store salesman couldn't even say hello which is usually a basic formal greeting comes to find out he's the one that upgraded my wife's phone and charged it to another line been paying for it since May and when we realized he didn't want to fix the problem but was willing to only credit not even half on the upgrade. Paid an extra 400$ "the New IPhone " yay this dude is awesome haha, oh yeah I think we interrupted him from his IPad time, like other reviews there were no customers in the store. This is the best Verizon Store. I don't know why I tried the store right across the street from them in the Target Shopping Center. They are slow and have poor customer service. I tried the one in Rancho on Foothill and it was an hour wait, but these guys took me right in and Albert had me out in about 20 min with a new phone. Great service!!! Highly recommended. read more

I actually have a different cell carrier than Verizon. I was with a friend who was paying their bill. I've never seen a person going around making sure that each name was written down so they would not be skipped over. I was impressed. Helpful is what I saw. Was expecting horrible service based on the reviews, however this was the only location close to my daughters soccer practice and I needed to add a line so I felt there was no other option. I checked in and the lady who greeted me was super nice. She said I would have a 15 - 20 minute wait. I was pleasantly surprised when Rudy approached me within 5 minutes of my arrival and let me know he was ready to help me. The manager on duty on June 10, 2022 was not wearing a name tag, and there was no way to know his name or that he was the manager. We had made an appointment for help with a new device at 4 PM. When we arrived for our appointment with a replacement phone that had been mailed to our home, the greeter (who turned out to be the manager) was unhelpful, sarcastic, angry, obnoxious, and disrespectful. He immediately made us feel uncomfortable, and unwelcome. He would not help us take the old phone out of the case, he sarcastically stated that he did not want to risk destroying the case. We did not know how to remove the hard plastic phone case. He then handed us two printed pages with technical information and asked us to go home to activate the new phone ourselves. He said in a nasty and mean tone that it was very easy to activate a new phone, all we needed to do was read the instructions. His unprofessional demeanor was humiliating and embarrassing, and his actions were reminiscent of a school aged bully. When we could not remove the case, he smirked and made fun of us. We were so disappointed. This was not the first time that we have had a very unpleasant experience in the Upland Verizon Store. Thus, after more than ten years with Verizon, and with six lines on our account, we are going to find another carrier. We have really had it with the lack of respect. read more

Absolute terrible customer service. Would give zero stars if I could. Came here twice cuz I got my phone stolen. First talked to the manager (think his name is Freddy) who basically said my trade-in was only worth $100 when my husband literally just got $450 a month ago. I turned to my husband and said we can just switch carriers since we aren't tied to Verizon. The manager then says "let me just double check again" and all of a sudden.. guess what? I get $450 back. He told me I just need to replace the cracked screen. So I went to fix the screen and went back here... was helped by sales rep John who tells us the trade-in value gets split throughout 36 months (wish I was told that the first time). I decided not to trade the phone in and just buy a new one which needed to be ordered. John then asks if we would be willing to trade in the phone for $600. Wth? Really don't feel like these people are being honest. He then proceeds by putting the iPhone order through my husbands cell phone. That was super odd... but we didn't question it (prob to avoid a bad survey score). He also tells us the phone would be overnighted and arrive at my house the next day. Guess what? It's going on 3 days and the phone barely has a shipping label created. Over-promised and under-delivered. These guys are all talk and are not looking out for their customers best interest. Hopefully this post steers people away from these scummy people. Will definitely be switching out of Verizon. read more

I went to this store a year ago to repair my IPhone 6 and reduce my bill. The salesman checked to see if I was eligible for an upgrade and talked me into getting an $250.00 upgrade. But, instead I found out tooo late it was a 750.00 bill for two years. The salesman moving very quickly pointed out my current phone trade in value. Once I realized I had been manipulated I called and wrote the company. No response from the letter and phone calls resulted in justification of the behavior the salesman. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything I did not want. She gave me plenty of time to decide what I needed . She was knowledgeable about all questions I had about my plan and even helped change the plan to a better cheaper plan! I live in West Covina and have followed Veronica .G for a while I believe for over 10 years. She never fails me every time I have an issue she finds the solution, i can count on her and her team to take care of me, friends and family. on September 9, 2016 I went to this location for a tempered glass screen protector because mine was broken. The gentleman at the front, Miguel, escorted me to the sales associate, Najermi. Najermi did not smile once. He was a smart ass, and extremely rude. He definitely does not fit the customer service/ sales associate position. He told me that because my tempered glass was not registered for the lifetime warranty, it was not covered. I told him that the sales associate that sold me the tempered glass told me to come in for replacement if it ever cracks. He assured me that what I had been told was not a part of their policy. I agreed to pay for a new tempered glass for my phone, and while he was installing it he asked, "are you going to register this one this time?" To say the least I was quite furious. I would never recommend such an ass, especially because he was trying to sell me the new iPhone, after he already made a bad impression on me. I would never give this man my business again. Very poor customer service. Went inside to make a change on my plan and they tried selling me a new plan. The weird thing about this is that I saw two other customers arguing with Verizon representatives over the same thing, they were pushing a new plan onto them. I dealt with Jake who was very rude when I wouldn't change my plan. He was a smart ass and that's the best way to describe him. These guys are like used car salesman trying to push whatever they can on to you so they can make a profit on the sale. The really dumb thing about this is he said he makes no commission off of selling plans. Yes I was born but I was not born yesterday. Watch out for these guys.... they will intentionally rip you off. They first told me I was out if contact and could upgrade my phones. Later down the road I was charged $120 per line for early cancelation. It took hours and hours of phone calls to get it resolved. The second issue I had here was with a buy one gets one phone free. The store manager and his employees directly lied to my face. They stated that there is nothing else to do and wait for my prepaid visa. Thank goodness my wife became suspicious and called customer service to find out that was a lie as well. So here we are again spending hours on the phone trying to get what was promised. Now as of today 6/1/ 2016 we are out almost $800 dollars because of the manager at this store told me that I didn't have to submit anything and my gift card will arrive in six months. We have spent hours on the phone with customer service and the rebate center with no help insight. So here I go with corporate emails, BBB, and a small claims suit. Stay away from this location at all costs. I never had such problems from the rancho foothill store. Just go anywhere else but here. You guys should be ashamed of yourself and you should be fired. Horrible place. Purchased a Samsung phone for a friend and had to go back THREE times because the phone never worked properly. After the first time the service rep Ryan wanted me to drive back there during rush hour to return the box the original crappy phone he gave me didn't work....of course I did NOT accommodate him since I wouldn't be compensated for my time and effort. Even after receiving the second phone, it did the same thing....and a different rep informed my friend that we were given a REFURBISHED PHONE. , not a new one as I was led to believe by Ryan ....really $250 for an out dated Samsung phone? What a rip off. Now I'm waiting for another phone to come in the mail...and I'll have to transfer the data because I don't want to deal with those shysters again.....I'm about one step away from dropping Verizon who I have been with for many years. Customer service at this store is terrible ..go elsewhere if you must stay with this provider. This review is specifically for an employee named Mike who works here. He totally capitalized on my mom dropping her phone in water today. Her phone worked perfectly after, besides the microphone acting up a bit. Having insurance, my mom decided to take her phone into verizon to be replaced. My mom is 69, she knows little about technology, basically she is easily swayed when it comes to purchasing this kind of thing because she doesn't know a lot about it. He somehow talked her into buying a new phone and a case even though she pays $11 a month for this exact kind of situation. Wow. Luckily my sister stepped in and they returned those things, took her phone to rockstar computers... And it was FINE. It dried after a few hours and worked fine. Not cool Mike.
