After a disappointing experience with T mobile and extremely frustrating unlocking ordeal. My family finally arrived to this Verizon location signed in and waited out turn. Everybody in the store was helping customers and we were approached by Jeff since we were next in line just listen to our issues and proceeded to process two prepaid accounts for our iPhones didn't try to upsell us just overall gave us good service. This Verizon store is honest and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. My family will return to see Jeff for our future Verizon cellular services. read more

Changed my plan and had issues with enrolling in apple one. Unable to resolve over the phone with Verizon so decided to stop at this location to resolve. Unfortunately, Michael was not willing to help. He reset my plan and when that didn't work he said to go back to the Verizon store who initially changed my plan. I said I thought someone here would be able to contact Verizon and get the issue resolved...he said we can do that but you should go back to the other store. Disappointing that Michael was unwilling to help me resolve the issue (especially when other stores and over the phone representatives all said he should have been able to address/resolve the issue). Don't know what's happening with Verizon but their customer service is failing. Michael is a perfect example of that. read more

My mom went in today because she a couple of things going on with her phone. She is not very tech savvy and was helped be an employee that lied to her. She was told that her phone would be an even swap with a newer model. My mom agreed and the employee took her phone to the back and started the swap of information. After an hour my mom went back and tge swap was done but now there was a $350 fee. WAS NOT MENTIONED BEFORE. then she was told that she had to purchase all new chargers because none of her old ones would work. Went to this Verizon store to purchase new phones. After phones were ordered, we had to wait 2 weeks before delivery was made to the store. Looked at account and it showed an update saying phones were delivered to store and ready for pick up. Went to the store to pick up phones and was told, phones are not here yet. I said yes they are can you take a look. She looked and the manager told the new girl, they're not here yet and we'll call them when ready. So I persisted and said, if they're not here why is there a signature. Then they decided to stop giving me the run around and retrieved our phones. Such a pain in the ass to be at the mercy of people who want to be lazy especially after paying such a ridiculous amount for phones. I know this won't matter to a such a large business. My son returned the tablet he never wanted for the $50 're-stocking fee' and come to find out, the charge is on his statement AGAIN. He no longer has the tablet, had to pay for the item he never wanted in the first place to be out back on the shelf AND he was charged a monthly fee AGAIN. Steer clear of this store! I came here because I got tired of going to the Verizon store located on Beverly Blvd in Whittier. The poor customer service there and the constant change of mangers you can't trust anyone in there. I was about ready to just cancel my service with this provider. So I gave this place a chance, looking to get my son a new phone. We walked in and we were greeted by Darvon. He helped me with some plan issues that the other store had created. Darvon informed us of the recent deals they had, which worked out for both my son and myself. I brought to his attention that my daughter was also having issues with her phone and if he would be able to her. He said not a problem to just bring in her phone. We did and he did as promised, my daughter was able to get her issued fixed. I cracked my screen protecter within a week of getting it. I returned to the store and with Darvon's help he replaced the screen without any problems. This store also offers a lot more varieties in regards to cases for the phones and other accessories. This store has an amazing employee named Hilda. I was so fortunate that she was the one who was available after I waited for a little bit. My problem was complicated. My phone was not working, money had been credited to the wrong acct number , and I received no satisfaction on the phone calling the 800 Verizon # . Hilda was steadfast and caring and went the extra mile!! She is intelligent . She had to interface on the phone with many Verizon customer service people and she was patient beyond belief. Check your invoice before you pay for anything!!! I was charged for the $80 GoAdvantage program without my consent! I was told I would be getting a free screen protector for my phone and didn't think much of it. Little did I know they added the GoAdvantage plan for $80 without me knowing which comes with a free screen protector. While technically not lying any reasonable person would find this misleading if not dishonest. I did not realize until I got my invoice in my e-mail at home. I did talk to the manager who was able to refund me half of my money. While I appreciate the effort I felt that I deserved the full amount. They tried to argue the screen protector was a $40 value but a quick check online will tell you that screen protectors are $5-$10 elsewhere for the same tempered glass protection. If any effort was made to explain the program I would have declined the program. My fault for not checking my invoice but it doesn't change the fact I was charged for an optional add-on charge without my consent. read more

Deceitful store associate. I asked for a screen protector for my brand new phone I just purchased in store, and the associate started applying a product without telling me what he was doing. When I asked, he told me it was the new screen protector (it was NOT, it was liquid glass) and he told me I do not need a physical screen protector on top and the product he was using would protect my phone better than the physical ones you place on top of screen. Not sure if he scratched it while applying the product or if it was damaged on my way home but when I got home I noticed three scratches on my phone screen. Went back to the store the next day and was informed by a diff associate that it is NOT a screen protector and it does not protect against scratches. Had the associate not lied I would have refused the product. Not sure if he damaged my phone or what happened but I had the phone for barely an hour or so before scratches appeared. The store told me they cannot do anything and to file a claim online but Verizon said the store is at fault. It's scary that you have to worry about being taken advantage of when buying a phone in store now. Hopefully this has not happened to a lot of others where they were deceived into purchasing something they were not actually getting. read more

I stopped in at the store to see about upgrading my phone I had passed this store many times When visiting Target so when I stopped in I thought I was at a Verizon store since all the signage says Verizon everywhere. Well after I completed my transaction I come to find out this isn't a Verizon store at all! This store is an authorized dealer and its name is actually GO WIRELESS which I thought was a new company slogan..they allow people to think they are an official verizon store but dont be fooled they would not honor all my discount coupons and I was told I would only pay the tax so when the lady told me they didnt have any bundled accessories she ran over and picked out the accessories i needed for charging, I thought they were included I saw the charge was about 195.00 but assumed it was all the fees associated with. When I got home I realized I had been charged for every extra accessory she picked out for me! I went to the store and asked to return the extra accessories and she said since I left the store she couldnt take them back. I felt like I had dealt with a Carnival barker who was out to take me, im so disappointed in myself for falling for unethical sales people. My son and waited in for over 40 minutes, waiting our turn, there were 5 people in line. Service was very slow but still waiting for our turn when a man and son walked in and looking for some items and stayed in the back of the store where the employees are taking care of customers. When the manager finished with an Asian couple he started to help the man and his son instead of taking the next customer. I confronted the manager about him taking care of the man and son instead of taking the young blond lady that was next in line, The man and the manager were very rude to me and the manager justified by saying the man had been in the store earlier but I told the manager he left and he should had him wait in line like the rest of the customers. While we were still waiting for my turn 3 customers left because the service was really slow. After my confrontation with the manager, he still helped the man with his son instead of the the blond lady, so we left the store. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years and this has been the worst, unprofessional, unkind and unfriendly service I have ever received. read more

I bought a new phone June 10, 2022. Perla sold it to me. It is now December and I'm still angry at the deception and (in my view) downright dishonesty that I experienced in that store. I bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The phone works fine. My problem is when I got home and looked at the receipt, I was charged $64.99 for a screen protector (little piece of plastic squeegeed onto phone) and 24.99 for a snap on piece that goes on the camera. It was not apparent what the charges were for on the receipt. I had to google it. When I saw I'd been charged for these things, I was shocked. Perla never asked me or told me anything about either items. I went back and complained, Verizon returned $20. That was after I'd been there "discussing" the issue for an hour and a half. Incidentally, I demanded to speak with the manager, but was told he was not there. However, Perla kept going to the back room and returning to me with explanations why the sale was justified. The last trip to the back room she came back and offered me $20, which I took, because by then I knew that was all I could get. Just beware. read more

I consider it RUDE when you ask an associate a question and they don't answer your question or give you an option you didn't ask for. My son shattered his screen on his iPhone 6s.... slammed it in the trunk lid/door.... don't ask lol. We got a replacement through the insurance and wanted some help activating it and I did NOT want to go to the mall.. I remembered this store and we stopped in and Adilson did it all. Set up the "new" phone we got from the insurance, transferred all the data/stuff, gave us a little discount on a tempered glass screen protector.... great attitude, great service. Fast forward two whole weeks and the same kid drops the replacement phone in the toilet. Fried. Done. Back to Adilson we went and upgraded my line, (he recognized us right away) transferred his line to my old phone, cases, screen protectors, transferred data, replacement tempered glass screen protector, better insurance plan... all of it done nicely, politely, he explained everything and with my very "energetic" son bouncing around the store Adilson and his manager didn't bat an eyelash, very professional and we laughed ALOT. I went in months earlier and just wanted a basic one, and of course i let someone upsell me a lifetime warranty. Be very careful when dealing with these people. We had pretty good luck the first couple times, but purchased a phone the other day for my daughter and the young girl helping us walks back over with a few choices of cases and screen protectors. I said that's ok we already have one. She says oh this is included in the bundle. I said so no extra charge? Nope it's bundles in. She installs the screen protector and case hands the phone to my daughter and says ok your ready to go. She tells me the total and the price jumped up about $90 more then what it should be. I said why the price increase and she tells me, fee's, setup fee. I said bot the case and screen protector right? Nope. I pay the bill and she hands me the receipt that clearly shows $43 for the case and $36 for the screen savers. Nothing worse then a lier except a thief. Won't ever go there again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Let me begin my frustrating tale. One of the sales people at this store (Javier Dominguez) had told my wife and I that we could get one iPhone SE 64 gig for $160 plus tax and the second iPhone SE 64 gig for just the taxes and that would be the total cost for the phones. The total cost for both phones would be $210 and I paid for that right then and there. I noticed that he didn't type this out on the sales order so I asked him to write it down just in case there might be some problems in the future. I had him write down the cost on the paper and initial it. Just in case. Later, I checked the automatic payment only to see I was being charged $42.48 a month for the two phones and that this charge would last for 24 months. I called Verizon to question my bill and they said they had no record of such an offer on the iPhone SE. They told me I would have to speak to the store manager to rectify the situation. I went to speak to the store manager and basically he chose not to honor what their salesman had told me and written down. Not only would I have to pay $960 for these two phones (full retail price) but that I could not get back the initial $210 I had paid to Javier. The only thing the manager offered to me was the phone number for Javier's new store so that maybe he can "explain things to me". So, even though their sales person had made the offer, written the offer down and initialed it, the offer was not worth the paper it was printed on. It was all just one big lie. I called Verizon back and told them what had happened at the store. They told me there was absolutely nothing they could do. The customer service rep acknowledged that the store deceived me but there was nothing they can do since it is an independent company from Verizon. I mentioned to Verizon that there were stores out there deceiving customers and sullying Verizon's good name but even so, Verizon would not do anything to make it up to me. Basically, I was screwed by the store. I am sure there are good people that work for the Verizon company and the Verizon stores but they are not to be found at this Whittier location. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I got screwed here but that doesn't mean that you have to be. This is not a Verizon store. This is a "go wireless" store and they will tell you whatever they need to to screw you over. Remember, you have been warned! read more

Fast-forward one month later I'm still struggling with protect cell insurance which I purchased at this Verizon store and I have not received a phone from them but they sure took my temporary $300 deposit. Is there anything this Verizon store can do for me because you guys have not done one thing to help "This place is terrible. Do not buy the insurance for your phone that they sell here because the apple store does not accept it and neither will any other Verizon store. I guess it's my fault I should have read all 20 pages before I sign the contract. There are three reasons why I rated this place 1 star 1. Increased pricing 2. Employees have a "sell at all costs" mentality 3. Uneducated employees First of all, this is NOT a corporate store. What does this mean? This store is able to set their own prices on Verizon products. You can find the same products at a corporate store for a lower price. Second, I came to this store to purchase a few phone accessories (not knowing about increased pricing) and completely got ripped off. My employer allows for a 25% discount on MOST Verizon wireless accessories. I explained this to an employee named Omar and was told that the system was not allowing it. After explaining that I'm able to get this discount at other places, he told me that it ended up magically going through. After looking at my receipt, I noticed there was no discount given at all. This guy's looked me right in the face and lied to me. Talk about a "sell at all cost" mentality. I tried to return the items and was told there would be a 20% restocking fee. Third, majority of these employees are uneducated/untrained when it comes to product knowledge and problem solving. While I was there, I over heard a lot of conversations that ended in, "unfortunately, there's nothing we can do." This is has to be the store phrase or something. I felt as though a lot of the other customers there were just as frustrated as I was. After a few phone calls, I finally spoke with an employee( Melanie) who said she would be able to help with refunding me the difference as if Omar had been honest and given me the discount in the first place. I would suggest making the extra 5 minute drive to a corporate store just to avoid going to this place. However, if you're too lazy to make that drive and find yourself at this store, make sure the only employee who helps you is Melanie. She does a great job of listening to your concerns and takes the necessary actions to make sure you leave the store happy and confident about the purchases you made. I hope this helps. read more

OMG, these are the dumbest people ever. After talking to tech support on line I was told to go to a store and get a new sim card. Simple right? NO! After an hour with "Perla", she gave back my phones and said here. It turns out she tried to make a used sim card work. She was too stupid to know that used sim cards can't be reused. Today me and my dad went in to this verizon store with the hopes of getting me a new galaxy note 7 And we were immediately greeted by zachery and he asked us if we needed any help We told him that I wanted to upgrade my phone and he was very eager to help us He informed us that I was eligible for an upgrade but if I wanted the note 7 then I would have to order it and it would come in about 3-5 buisness days He also helped us in getting a deal with getting 3 new phones for my family and lowered our cell phone bill We did end up paying a little more than we initially wanted but we got a lot more for the money we spent We even got 3 galaxy tablets for free ! I look foward to getting my note 7 !
