The night before we noticed a group of bees in an easement area of our house. We called Versa-Tech and made an appointment for service. The next day Versa-Tech employee Chris Davis arrived. Chris was wearing a mask and gloves. I showed him where the problem was. He was unable to detect any signs bees. He went and blocked off the access area under my roof's easement (see photo). It was a really nice job. Chris was patient, easy going, and very professional. When I asked Chris how much it would be I was surprised. He refused to charge me for anything. He said he wouldn't charge me since the bees were no longer there. He covered the access area as a precaution and wouldn't charge me for that either. He only asked me to remember Versa Tech the next time we had a pest problem. Did I mention that Chris arrived on time. I didn't know what to expect since I had never called for pest control. The rainy season gave us some very unwelcome rodents that decided to seek shelter in our attic. We called six different companies, one of which was Versa Tech. They gave us a free inspection and the best quote out of all the companies that service the San Dimas area. Their tech Jason was the best! He came right away, was prompt, polite, and always professional. I felt immediately that I could trust him in my home as I am home alone with two small kids. He was even nice when my hyper boxer puppy jumped all over him. When he came, he assesed all the ways the rats were gaining access inside our house, sealed all the entry ways and possible entry ways, and then set traps in our attic. He was careful on our roof and in our attic. The frame around the entry to the attic was actually coming down prior to Jason using it. But after he left, I noticed he was curteous enough to repair it with a couple of screws and even clean up after himself. That same night we heard the traps and called the next morning. He promptly returned my phone call and set up a time that was flexible with my schedule, so that he could come back to check the traps. Thankfully he caught two rats in his traps! He came back for follow-ups three more times after that and still found nothing. I am so glad we chose Versa Tech! Nitetime scratching was driving me crazy and the rare victory of a dead rat stunk like crazy and was making my wife and daughters disgusted. Jason from Vera Tech was amazing. I have been struggling with rodents for months. I prefer to think I had mice, but Jason kindly pointed out I had rats. He was very knowledgable about all types of rodents, their behaviors and how to get rid of them. After surveying my property and identifying the issues he had a itemized estimate to me within 24 hours. He then came out sealed the places they were getting in, set traps in the garage, attic and outdoors and cleaned and sterilized my garage where the activity was the worst. My wife and I have had two experiences with Versa Tech. Initially, we called them for a bee issue at our front porch. There has been swarm of bees coming in and out of an opening at the corner of the porch, but they have disappeared in the following day. We were concerned about this activity and would like to make sure the area is safe, so we gave Versa Tech a call after finding them on Yelp. He's very friendly and professional and he's definitely done a great job keeping the rats away because I haven't seen even one rat since he's be doing his regular maintenance every 2 months. This place is amazing! Kirk always does a great job, and since using them I haven't had any issues. I will say the first month and a half our little spiders returned, but he came out a little early to fix the issue (we're on an every other month plan). Ever since then they haven't reappeared! We also followed the directions when it comes to our dogs and cat to keep them away until it dries, and our babies have had no issues with the treatment used. I noticed that a swarm of bees had set up housekeeping in my house. I found Versa-Tech on-line and got a quote through Yelp. I called their office, left a message, and got a prompt call-back. They told me Jason would call to schedule an appointment for a free assessment. He called a few minutes later to schedule between 1 and 2 PM. He was on my doorstep at 1:20. He was very professional, really friendly, assessed the problem, and asked if I wanted him to take care of it right then. I said yes and he went to work. He was done in 30 minutes and the bees are gone. Problem resolved in less than 8 hours after my first call. You can't ask for better service than that.
