KC is a bullshitter. Makes excuses for everything. Works very painfully slow. Takes the easy way out with any situation. We've had to call KC out to fix his system 2 times a month for almost a year and we are absolutely done with trying. Vertex AV is a scam. KC is hopeless. STAY AWAY. Not sure how he has good reviews. He rants and raves about all the big mansions he's set up but couldn't figure out lights and WiFi in a 2 bedroom home. KC will take advantage of you. He seems very nice and reasonable! Our Bose system indoor and outdoor rarely works. Our 1000 dollar remotes never work. The alarm system goes off in the middle of the night for no reason. The security sensors on all the windows and doors have fallen off. The lights that he programmed work once every 3 times maybe. Remember, Good Guys electronics? I purchased a HDTV, speakers and then went to Pacific Sales and added a Bose Speaker system. They referred me to KC. His crew and he came out, mounted the Speakers, TV, ran all the wiring, added additional speakers in the living room and patio. Set it all up with one remote much to my wife's satisfaction. Over the years I have needed some repairs, service and they are always there. I recently needed to replace the universal remote after 10 year's! KC came out did the work, cleaned up a few things and we are back in biz. Very Fair pricing, great guy and staff. I would never use anyone else. KC also had some great recommendations when it came to lighting and energy use. We will be making these changes down the road with them. I always refer anyone who asks to KC. read more

This company came out and hooked up our wi-fi so it could reach the pool and helped get our TV and speaker system up and running. Absolutely the best! I called several companies and received four quotes. When KC and his crew came out, they knocked me out with what they could do. They automated my door locks, put a video doorbell in, put a Sonos stereo system throughout my house that I can control through my phone or my tv remote. Next, they automated our televisions and hid all the equipment, put controlled lighting in and we're starting on the backyard next! Not only was this done in one day, but they explained everything in great detail so I wasn't shell shocked when they left. The customer service is second to none. They respond immediately, no matter what time of day and can solve any possible problem (usually my human error) within minutes. Our home was a logistical nightmare for wifi throughout due to the three stories and all the steel that blocked signals. I now have wifi in every room including the garage and haven't had an issue since! We love it! They are very professional and offer solutions for everything you could possibly think of at an affordable price. We highly recommend Vertex - great company and they're super smart!!!!! read more

Our California home surround, outside stereo/TV and thermostat system is great. We can control the system with an easy to use remote control or iPhone ap. The sound is fabulous and being able to control our thermostats remotely is perfect for us. We split our time between AZ and Ca and this feature is ideal for anyone who travels. Great company! KC was recommended to us years ago by Paul's TV. We had him set up our entertainment system and were very pleased with his work. He installed wall speakers (hiding all the wires behind walls and base boards), and programmed a universal remote for us to easily switch from DVD, TV, and music in surround sound with the touch of a button. We've had no problems with his set up, however, we recently "cut the cord" to cable and were having trouble getting some of our components to work. KC came out and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He suggested some upgrades to the system and educated us on new technologies available to us. He was very informative but not pushy (which I appreciated) and we will definitely call him when we are ready to make those upgrades. KC was prompt and had good communication when scheduling. KC and his crew have been nothing short of the miracle we needed to fix our AV issues. We had a recent remodel, but we could never seem to get everything talking to each other (Sonos, Apple TV, surround sound, etc). KC came in and found issues our contractor had missed, showed us where we needed to upgrade and how we could save money. We had no idea our existing speakers were wired incorrectly, and the crew not just fixed everything, but made it better than I could have imagined. It pays to have a true professional!! Gavin and his partner were very helpful , they came to set up and install my t.v.and sound bar, he was polite , professional and went out of his way to even do the programming for me on the t.v., after he left i had to contact pauls t.v. for a seperate issue and didnt have much luck with that, after noticing the speaker had a small defect and felt it should be replaced since it was a manufacturer defect, they werent willing to replace item and wasnt very satisfied with there business , i also work retail and couldnt believe there policy, it was only 30 minutes after recieving the item that i noticed the defect, and called to report it!
